"So this is Ravenwood?"

"Yes, Master."

I was sent here by my family to rest. At the age of 26, I was finally diagnosed with a pain disorder. I get too stressed sometimes. I let things get to me, and it would make my body hurt badly. I looked up to see someone looking down at me from one of the rooms on the top floor of The Ravenwood House. His eyes and hair were pitch black. But for some reason, I wasn't scared. The pain I was feeling at that time dulled down. We stared at each other; it seemed like a long time, but it was only a few seconds.

"Master, I should get you inside before your pain gets too bad."

"Who was that up there in the window?"

"Master?"

"There was someone up there in that window."

"Master, no one is here tonight but you and me. We won't have anyone else until tomorrow."

I looked at my personal servant, White. Then, I went back to the window on the top floor. I looked back at White, shook my head, and laughed it off.

"Let's go in."

"Yes, Master."

"Master, this is your room. I have set everything up for you the way you like."

"Thank you, White."

"Master, are you in bad pain? Should I get your medicine?"

"No, White. I'm okay right now. I don't want to be hooked on that medicine."

"Master, please don't let it get too bad. I don't like seeing you in so much pain that you cry."

I looked at White and smiled.

"I won't."

White nodded okay but knew his Master would wait until the last second before crying out for help.

"Master, I will head down to start dinner for you."

"Okay."

"I'll come to check on you as soon as I can, Master."

"Okay, go. I'm fine here."

I looked around the room to see my favorite books on the nightstand beside my bed. I picked up one and walked over to a chair next to the window. It had a folded cover laid over the top of it. I picked it up and sat down. I went to lay the cover over my lap when I looked out the window. I realized this was the same window I had seen the guy looking down at me outside. I jumped up and looked around the room. I turned back to the window and looked out. I saw the same guy that was in this window, looking up at me from outside. Initially scared, I started to relax the longer I looked at him.

"Master, are you okay?"

I jumped a little and looked at White.

"Y-Yes. I thought I saw something outside, but it was nothing."

"Master, dinner is almost ready. Would you like to eat here in your room?"

"Yes, that's fine."

I started dreaming. I fell asleep reading my book. The guy that I kept seeing walked up to me. I looked right at him. His eyes were black, and his black hair looked like feathers. He just looked at me. I wasn't scared at all. He put his hand on me to get my attention and tell me something, but at the same time, White was trying to wake me up for dinner.

"White?"

"Yes, Master Raven. Dinner is ready."
