Then I suddenly, remember I have to take care of the forest, so I finally get up. I have a cute garden that has any kind of flowers and trees you could think of. I want to invite people to help me take care of it and even plant more. Sadly no one wants to come. I am not a popular girl. All the kids in school see me as a nerd, and they always laugh at me. I don't have any friends. That's why I HATE school. My bully, Mackenzie, makes my day even worse! Mackenzie loves making fun of me every time she sees me. I do my morning routine and go to school. I decided to finally make friends! I will start talking to my classmates. Who knows? Maybe I will make some friends. My plan was good, but …

''How are you?'' I asked, with hope in my voice

''Eww. Get lost nerd!''

I was speechless. Then, Mackenzie enteres the room with a vile smile and starts talking about me. This is the third time! This day!

''Hahahah. The nerd is trying to make friends. You will never make any friends because you're a loser.''

How could she be so mean?! Then a boy sits next to me. Who is he? I don't even know him and we we're in the same class! I don't want to talk because probably Mackenzie will start making fun of me again. Instead, he starts talking to me.

''Don't listen to Mackenzie. I know you can make some friends. I am the first one. If you want.''

''Yay! My first friend!''

Good Mackenzie didn't hear anything. I am not in the same class as her but she is 'friends' with everyone and she knows about all the rumours.

''I have to get back to my seat, see you later.''

''Oh.. alright! See you!''

He left. I was wondering what's his name. He is so sweet for wanting to be my friend. I thought about that all the English class. When it was time for lunch, I didn't know what to do. I don't want to be the only fool who doesn't have anyone to sit with. Then I remember I have! I don't even know his name! I search for him, then I spot him talking to some boys. He sees me and tells me to come. He introduces me to his cool gang.

''So guys, this is- umm- ..''

''My name is Nikki by the way! We met an hour ago ''

''This is Nikki, I met her when Mackenzie was making fun of her..''

He stops and gives an annoyed look to one of his friends.

''Mackenzie told her she will never make any friends, so I offered to be her friend.''

''Interesting story but I am hungry. '' said one of the guys.

''You are always so hungry!'' said, uhm- my friend

''My name is Brandon '' then he laughed.

We the sit to a big table, because we are like 6. They start talking about sports and other random things. I try bringing up topics and being talkative. I think I am getting along with them! I feel like I said one word and the lunch is already over! I never felt like that before. I usually thought lunch was so long because I was eating alone in one of the bathroom cabins. That was the place I felt safe. Now I feel safe when I am with my friends. I hope Mackenzie will stop making fun of me now. I learned that one of the boys, James, was Mackenzie's boyfriend! That's why Brandon was giving him strange looks earlier. I don't want to get back to the boring classes. I want to spend more time with my new friends. I decide I will try talking to other girls. Even if my first try was a huge fail, maybe not all the girls were like that. I try talking to a girl named Zoey from my class.

''Hey Zoey!'' I said, a bit anxious

''Oh hey Nikki! Wanna take a seat?''

''SURE.''

I can't believe it. A girl is actually being nice to me. I am so happy! I take a seat next to her. We start talking about what we did in the weekend, funny accidents and so on, when the teacher came and ruined all the fun! Mackenzie left me alone all day! I thought this day couldn't get any better! But I wasn't right! We don't have any homework! Yesss! I went home thinking about this good day, when..

''Stop right there Niktrash!''

Omgg. I hate when she calls me Niktrash. It's a nickname she gave me when I fell in the trash someday.

''Please stop calling me that! What do you want?!''

''If you think I will leave you alone, you're wrong. Don't even think about stealing my boyfriend or my crush!''

''They are 2 different people?!'' I asked, confused.

''Like I would tell personal stuff about me to a nerd like you. Bye bye, Niktrash!''

I can't believe it. This day was so good, she had to ruin it. I knew her boyfriend is James, but who is her actual crush? Is she using James to get closer to her crush? I believe so. This is something Mackenzie would do. Anyway, when I got home I received a message:

'Hey Nikki! I got your number from the class' group. I am Brandon.''

''Oh hey! Glad you texted me :) ''

''Np! I have a question.''

''Ask me.''

''Is this you..?''

Then he send a video of someone falling in a trash. NO! It's the video Mackenzie made when I fell into that trash a week ago! No way he already saw it! We were friends for a day! What should I answer?

'Uhm..' I answered

'It's alright. Everyone makes mistakes. I will tell James to make Mackenzie delete it.

'TYSM! You're the best!'

'Thanks! You too.''

Then we stopped texting. I am blushing. How could he be so sweet? First, be my friend (I am a weird nerdy girl), next, introduce me to his gang, let me sit with them, and now solve my second biggest problem in life (the first one was Mackenzie), that video! He really is the best! The other good news are that it was Friday! Tomorrow, NO SCHOOL! I have time to get Zoey's number and all the other boys' numbers. I am glad I have so many friends! Maybe Zoey is a part of a group too!

'Do you have Zoey's number?'

''Yes. Actually we are good friends. I'll give it to you!''

'Thanks.'

'The number is *********'

'Oh okay! I will add it now.'

I added Zoey's number and we stayed on call for so long! Everything is great in my life. I finally have friends. I hope Mackenzie doesn't have a plan to ruin my life again! I went to sleep because I was tired. I am excited to get all the boys' numbers tomorrow.

Then, in the middle of the night, I got a message. I was in shock.

'If you talk to Brandon one more time, or try to get James' number, you will regret you ever met me.'

It was from Mackenzie. I thought of the best comeback and send it to her.

'Don't worry.'

'?'

'I already regret ever meeting you.'

Then she didn't answer. I am not scared of her. Okay, maybe a little bit. But anyway, what could she do?

Mackenzie's pov

She will regret that she threw that comeback at me. I am going to the school tomorrow. Yes, I am not crazy, tomorrow it's Saturday, but I will do something that will get her expelled. Hahahaha! Then I will be part of James' gang, not her! I am tired of waiting for James to introduce me, so I have the vilest plan!

''Mackenzie! Go to sleep already! Your sister Amanda is already asleep!''

Ughh. I have to go to sleep. She will see what I am capable of.,.
