A/N: Favorite weather? Yessss, go do it! BTW! No romance between any one of the characters. :) Also, y'all need to check out AFollower's May Chronicals, where she writes answers to my prompts!
Fanboy loved to fly. He loved to watch Disney movies. He loved to play board games. He loved his Daggers. But he also loved thunderstorms.
The way the sky could light up in the dead of night from lighting. The clash of mighty thunder right after. The way the ground would shake and tremble as if it were in fear.
Mickey loved to sit at a window and observe the rolling, dark and angry thunderclouds. He loved to count the seconds between lightning and thunder to try and get an estimate of how far away it was.
Currently, he was sitting with a cup of tea (yes, tea, no judging) and a book in one hand, blanket spread across his lap, and his and Payback's shared cat, Caspian purring next to him. He glanced out the house window and noted the darkening sky. Fanboy grabbed his phone and looked at the radar, a grin spreading across his face.
"Payback!" he yelled, "We're in for a rough one!"
He heard the shower turn off, and Payback poked his head out of the bathroom, his hair (well, what hair he had) dripping water onto the floor. "Not again. You want to grab the boardgames out while I finish getting some clothes on?"
"Yeah." Fanboy put his book down, hearing the rolling thunder in the distance, "Sorry Caspian, but I'm going to get up real quick, alright?"
Caspian protested slightly as Fanboy got up and walked to the game closet, grabbing a few games.
Payback walked out of the bathroom in navy blue sweatpants and a white t-shirt. He sat down in a bean-bag chair, Caspian instantly curling up on his lap. He took a glance at the games Fanboy had grabbed. He pulled one out, "How 'bout this one?" he asked.
"Sure!" Payback had pulled out chest. It was the only game Payback actually had a chance at beating him at. While Payback set up, Fanboy turned on the TV and put on Chronicles of Narnia.
So, there they sat, playing a few games of chess, the thunder rolling and the rain pounding against the walls of the house. Caspian purring to Payback's gentle touches and the movie playing as background noise. Yes, Fanboy loved thunderstorms.
