Runt was suddenly sucked under and tossed around until he was shot out of the water and into the cliff Runt coughed a little bit before looking towards the direction of the exit and quickly ran outside and saw that it was night time.

Runt wasn't exactly sure if this was the right time there was only one way to find out Runt immediately as fast as he could he ran towards the United Tribe Territory and towards his den and saw his family sleeping he went over to his mother and gently shook her "mom wake up."he whispered Kate groaned as she stirred awake looking up at Runt groggy "Ugh Runt? "What day is it and the year?"Runt asked making Kate look at him funny "It's April 25th 2024."Kate said annoyed that's what he woke her up for "just checking."Runt said proudly that he was back, he went back to his original spot and laid down sleep much to Kate's confusion.

The next day

Runt traveled the grass fields looking for his mother after practicing what to say, he spotted her sitting in the grass meditating as he walked towards her he spotted Link and Lyle talking amongst themselves, he then sat in front of Kate who opened her eyes and looked at her youngest son "Something i can help you with Runt?"she asked "yes Mom, there's something i have to tell you but first i need you to think back to 2011,did you happen to meet a white furred male wolf around that time?"Runt asked Kate stared at Runt now more bewildered and she thought back to 2011 and she vividly does remember meeting a white furred wolf.

"yeah come to think of it, yeah i did meet a strange white furred male wolf, now that I'm remembering him i am not sure why but for some reason something about him reminds of Chalk."Kate said glancing at Chalk who was playing with Lilly. "Mom did he tell you something about Link and Lyle leaving the tribe?"Runt asked Kate gave a confused look "yeah he said that they were going to abandon the tribe and go to the south...how do you...wait did you talk to him?"Kate asked crossing her arms Runt made a kind of gesture making Kate frown a little "Ok Runt you can not do that ok he is a stranger you don't talk to strangers ever."Kate said firmly "mom he wasn't a stranger..he...you wouldn't believe me me if i told you who he really was." Runt said.

Kate let out a sigh and squares down to him "Runt I am your mother,you should be able to tell me things no matter how where they are,so tell me what's going on honey?"Kate begged in a motherly tone Runt nodded at took a deep breath "ok that wolf you met that day was Chalk,he came from the future using the whirlpool he tried to warn you about how Link and Lyle leave and go to the Southern Tribe where they help them attack us and they kill me,I saw my own grave mom." "You saw your own grave how?"Kate asked curiously "last night I...went to the Whirlpool cave and went in and I was taken to the future,I saw vanilla,Chalk Stink Claudette everyone."Runt said Kate was upset that Runt Shockwave out but decided to yell at him about that later.

"Mom please you've got to do something anything please i...i don't want to die next year."Runt said in a frightened tone as he started crying Kate couldn't stand to see Runt so scared and she really couldn't stand someone coming after anyone in her family and tribe, Kate was still trying to wrap her head around the future situation,she doesn't know weither or not to believe it however she could tell Runt is scared and Link and Lyle are becoming more and more troublesome.

"Ok I'll do something about it Runt."Kate said with a smile making Runt smile but then Kate's transition into a curious expression "Runt i probably not supposed to ask this but who leads the tribe in the future?" "Stinky does."Runt said this suprised Kate as Claudette was their choice of tribe leader and she wanted him to elaborate on that but decided not to ask anymore questions and then she walked off leaving Runt alone to his thoughts wondering if the future would be different now but knowing he can't and shouldn't go back to the whirlpool so he could only wait and see.

The Year 2054

The Sun shined brightly over the United tribe as a bunch of Omega pups played and laughed while an adult Runt watched with a proud smile on his face.
