Earlier in Chrysalis's lair...

The Class 1-A students stood tall as they spotted their friends chained up in the background. Even HawkMoth flew above the ground with Cat Noir in his invisible grip. Chrysalis stood near where their friends were, and they were ready to get them back.

"Stop Chrysalis from getting away. Go help Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo if you can," EraserHead said to his students, "I'll help out Ladybug."

"Right!" Class 1-A cried out in unison.

The rest of Class 1-A, Miss Hound and King Monkey ran over to Chrysalis and their friends, ready to set them free.

Iida, instantly ran over to Midoriya who was trying to get out of his chains. He could tell that he was having trouble with them.

"Iida! I'm so glad to see you!" Uraraka cried out.

"Of course," Iida said to her with a smile.

Midoriya wasn't letting up on the chains however. He just kept cracking the wall that was holding him down.

Iida looked over at Bakugo, and he was covered in frostbite from the chains he was wearing. Iida could tell that he was struggling to stay awake. He even noticed that he was glowing orange. Even the chains were glowing as well and heading over to the machine.

"Iida, you have to break Kacchan free from--"

Midoriya suddenly felt a strong shock coming from the chains. Iida tried to help him, but Chyrsalis's voice rang out right by the machine.

"Maybe you shut your mouth, Izuku," Chrysalis said to him, and then turned to Iida, "There's no way you're going to get them all out of here."

Todoroki soon caught up to him and noticed Bakugo looking frozen from the chains. Not only that, but he was glowing orange. He didn't know what the weird glowing was, but he first needed to defrost him. He had never seen him so defeated before that it didn't feel quite right. He walked up to him and used his fire side to help warm him up. It didn't seem to do much since Bakugo had frostbite.

"Th-Thanks, Icy Hot," Bakugo said with a smirk, "I-I'd n-never th-thought I-I'd be s-so gl-glad to s-see you."

Todoroki was just so glad to get here just in time.

"It's no problem. Just helping out a friend," Todoroki said to him with a subtle smile.

Then Ashido came up and noticed Uraraka's chains feeling really heavy.

"Whoa, those chains are heavy!" Ashido cried out, "Here, I'll melt those for you."

Then a sudden heavier feeling came over Uraraka's chains. Even Midoriya and Bakugo felt either a strong shock or an icy cold sensation coming from theirs. Everyone around their friends stepped back, except for Todoroki who kept trying to defrost him.

"If you even touch those chains, I'll hurt your little friends here," Chrysalis threatened to them, "I won't let you intervene!"

Ashido stepped back, but hated not doing anything to help Uraraka or the others. They all outnumbered her, but they couldn't do anything if she was going to keep hurting them.

Sato, Kirishima and King Monkey surrounded Chrysalis just in case she tried to get away from them. Jirou, Aoyama and Miss Hound ran up to Iida just in case he needed help with anything.

Todoroki tried to defrost Bakugo, but that orange glow was really bothering him now. Something about that glowing didn't sit right with him.

"Yo-You guys have to get Kacchan out of here. Chrysalis is--"

Midoriya felt another strong shock coming over him, and he finally fell to his knees. Iida ran up to him and stared daggers at Chrysalis.

"How dare you do this to someone chained up!" Iida yelled at her, "Let them go or you'll have their Class Rep. to deal with!"

"Ooh, I'm so scared!" Chrysalis said back to him teasingly, "If I were you, I wouldn't step anywhere near me. Not unless you want this destroyed in the process."

Chrysalis held up a ring that was hooked up to the machine. It was glowing the same orange color as Bakugo. The whole class froze in place, feeling sick to their stomach. Todoroki didn't dare step away from Bakugo now at this point and kept trying to defrost him without burning him. Even Ashido felt her knees buckling underneath her. Kirishima's eyes widened in horror, seeing something so small contain something so strong.

"I-Is th-that...?" Kirishima asked her, but trailed off.

"Yes. It's exactly what you think it is. HawkMoth was able to take Izuku's quirk, so I have Katsuki's quirk right here," Chrysalis explained to them, "Although these do feel very different I'd have to say. Katsuki's quirk is taking quite a while to be absorbed into the Miraculous. I guess that's because Izuku's was given to him. Hmm whatever, it doesn't matter anyway."

They all stood there staring daggers at her. They really wanted to take it from her, but they all knew that she would just hurt their friends again.

"Why are you doing this?" Ashido asked her, "We haven't done anything to you!"

Chyrsalis let out a chuckle as she set down the Miraculous.

"You haven't done anything? You've done plenty. All of you wannabe heroes just show up out of no where and start taking charge like you own this place. You're all just like Ladybug! She always has that smile on her face and saving everyone like she is the center of Paris. It's all anyone ever talks about," Chrysalis said to them, "None of you belong here, and yet you act like you know everyone here!"

Everyone stood there in silence.

"You're wrong, Chrysalis."

Class 1-A all turned around to see Midoriya standing up to her. She tried to shock him again, but he kept going.

"You may think that we don't belong here, but we've gotten to know a lot of people here in Paris. They're all great friends, including Ladybug and Cat Noir. Even her teammates have been helping us a lot. The school has been very supportive, and we have a lot of great friends there as well. So, it doesn't matter what you have to say. This Paris is our Paris too. We do belong here," Midoriya said to her with full confidence.

More silence.

Bakugo looked up at Midoriya, feeling a sense of relief hearing him say that.

The whole class looked at Chrysalis, waiting for her to say or do something out of the ordinary. Then Bakugo started to feel a sudden pull towards the machine that made his stomach twist and turn. Even his head began to pound, causing him to feel nauseous.

"Bakugo, what's wrong?!" Todoroki cried out.

"M-My q-quirk... So-Something's wrong... w-with it..." Bakugo said to them.

He tried to use it to break out of there, but the frostbite still did a number on him. He couldn't even ignite a spark, let alone smoke.

Midoriya went at it again with the chains and felt something finally loosen him a bit. He wasn't free, but he could almost reach the machine. Chrysalis grabbed the Miraculous containing Bakugo's quirk and quickly shocked him with an even stronger one. He wasn't letting up, so she kept clicking on it.

Midoriya reached out for it, even though it hurt so much. He needed to grab it to stop Bakugo from losing his quirk.

"Yo-You w-won't ta-take Ka-Kacchan's quirk fr-from him!" Midoriya cried out, "I-I w-wont let you!"

Kirishima, Sato and King Monkey got closer to her, ready to attack and take it from her. King Monkey summoned uproar, and it turned out to be a butterfly squeaker toy.

"Turn off the machine, Chrysalis!" King Monkey cried out, "Or I'll throw this!"

Chrysalis was shocked to see him threaten her with his superpower. She knew what it would do to the machine, or even her. It would definitely mess with her progress, maybe even stop her from getting Bakugo's quirk for good.

"You wouldn't dare, King Monkey," Chrysalis said to him through gritted teeth, "You have no idea what you're doing, even now. All you wanted to do was pull a prank on Izuku back then. And now you're helping them with something as ridiculous as this. You really are pathetic."

King Monkey tried not to feel that, but it did hurt a little. He looked at Kirishima and Sato, and they both looked okay with him being on their side. He even spotted Midoriya still trying to get the Miraculous away from Chrysalis. He was chained up, and he still went for it.

"Chrysalis, I can't believe I even considered following someone like you," King Monkey said to her.

Chrysalis's eyes widened in shock as she watched King Monkey throw the butterfly squeaker toy right at the machine. She quickly blocked it by getting it to hit her instead. The most of the class stood there really confused, but not Midoriya, Uraraka and Jirou. They both looked at Chrysalis with their jaws dropped. They all knew what was coming.

Suddenly, Chrysalis's cane turned into a toy snake that kept wiggling around. She instinctively let go of it, and her akumatization on HawkMoth began to detransform him back into Gabriel.

Midoriya, Uraraka and Jirou were surprised that nothing else happened since they remembered Midoriya's quirk going berserk that one time.

"It seems your superpower didn't do anything to stop me," Chrysalis said to King Monkey, "I'm still planning on taking Bakugo's quirk from him."

Midoriya whipped his head around to see Bakugo keeled over in pain. Something was wrong, so he tried to break the chains again. Only this time, he grabbed one of the loose chains and banged against his knee using One for All. The whole class was impressed that he broke it in half. He went to grab the next one, but felt another strong shock.

Chrysalis did it again and again until he collapsed from using too much energy. His heavy breathing was starting to get to him, but he grabbed onto the chain and pulled himself up. She kept shocking him, but he fought through it and slammed the last chain. It broke into pieces, setting him free from Chrysalis's grip.

Midoriya looked up at her with determination and flashed over to her in an instant. She came face to face with him, making her jump. He went to grab Bakugo's Miraculous, but she quickly took it before he could. Then he grabbed her wrist, feeling rage start to build up inside of him.

"Give me Kacchan's quirk, Lila," Midoriya threatened with glowing green eyes.

She had never seen him with that look before. He almost looked like a villain that Ladybug and Cat Noir would face. Only something about him felt much worse than that. Chrysalis's grip tightened around it, causing Midoriya to push her against the machine. She ended up dropping it, and it rolled away.

Kirishima quickly grabbed it, which caught Chrysalis's attention right away. She quickly tried to get out of Midoriya's grip and ran at him.

"Give me the Miraculous!" She cried out.

Kirishima looked frantically around for someone nearby and threw the Miraculous over to Sato. He stumbled a bit, but he caught it right away. Chrysalis got up and ran after Sato with her piercing glare. Sato looked around to see Ashido swinging her arms around to get his attention. He quickly threw it towards her, and she almost had it. The throw was short, but she quickly slid over to it using her acid quirk. She stumbled with it and was able to catch it.

"I got it!" Ashido cried out.

She slid around on her acid and managed to circle around Chrysalis. She spotted Bakugo and quickly spun around to head over to him. Just as she was about to reach it out to him, something made her trip and accidentally dropped it. It was Chrysalis's cane that had turned into a toy snake. The Miraculous rolled across the floor and headed towards Miss Hound. She picked it up before anyone else could grab it.

"Miss Hound, give the Miraculous to me," Chrysalis said to her, "I know you wouldn't betray me again. You're smarter than King Monkey over here."

Miss Hound turned to Class 1-A, but mostly Bakugo. He didn't look so good. Whatever the machine had done to him was now making him sick. She felt so bad for him and really wanted to help him somehow. Then she looked back to Chrysalis. She looked like she had calmed down a bit and was reaching her hand out to her. Her eyes were less harsh looking and more soft spoken.

Then she looked back at Midoriya.

He looked so worried for his friend that was still attached to the freezing cold chains. She had never seen the heroes in training look so upset and worried for their friends before. She felt so guilty for letting Chrysalis do this to them. But she knew what to do now.

Miss Hound looked at Chrysalis with determined eyes and ran over to Bakugo. She gave him a smile and handed him the Miraculous.

"You traitor!" Chrysalis cried out, "Don't forget, I gave you that Miraculous!"

"Actually, you didn't."

Miss Hound stood up to face Chrysalis. She was a little nervous, but she could see now that she had new friends here to help her out.

"Chloe actually gave it to me. And since she decided to side with Ladybug, I'd rather follow her than you any day," Miss Hound told her, getting her ball at the ready.

The whole class, even King Monkey was surprised to see her stand up to their former leader. Chrysalis wasn't too happy with that decision. She was about to run at her, but Sato grabbed her and pinned her down with his quirk.

"Get off of me, you wannabe hero!" She cried out as she tried to wiggle out of his grip.

"No way, Chrysalis. I'm not letting you get away with this," Sato said back to her.

Bakugo looked down at the Miraculous, noticing that it wasn't glowing. He was still not feeling good, like he was about to throw up. The shivering from the frostbite wasn't helping much either. He tried to ignite another spark, but nothing happened.

Not even a little bit of smoke.

"Dammit!" Bakugo cried out as he slammed his fist into the ground, "Wh-What's g-going on?!"

Midoriya felt his heart race when he noticed him looking so defeated. Todoroki was able to bring down the freezing a little, but he was clearly still really cold. His eyes looked so confused that Midoriya knew what was going on. He flashed over to him to check on his childhood friend.

"Kacchan, what's wrong?!" Midoriya asked him.

Bakugo couldn't even look up at him. All he could do was slam his fist into the ground over and over again. Even that didn't seem to help.

"D-Deku... I-I can't... I-I don't know w-what's g-going on... M-My quirk..." Bakugo said through gritted teeth, but also still shivering.

The room was silent, and then everyone could hear Chrysalis let out a laugh that gave everyone chills. Even Midoriya stood up to face her, who was stilll being held by Sato.

"What's so funny, Chrysalis?" Iida asked her.

"Isn't it obvious or are you all just idiots?! Katsuki doesn't have his quirk anymore!" Chrysalis yelled out, sending an echo through the whole lair.

Bakugo's heart felt like it had stopped for a whole minute. He felt like he was going to be sick. He couldn't even move as he just looked down at the ground from where he had punched it. He opened up his hand and held the Miraculous in his hand.

"N-No..."

He finally looked up to see Midoriya's eyes so wide that he didn't recognize him for a second. He stood there with his eyes locked onto Bakugo's. He saw Midoriya's quirk beginning to spark green all around him. Then he spotted black tendrils starting to sprout around his arms. They extended down to the ground and moved around like they had a mind of their own.

"Give... Kacchan's... quirk... back!" Midoriya yelled out.

The whole class was in awe of Midoriya's quirk in that moment. In a brief second, Chrysalis pushed Sato away, and Midoriya took advantage of that. He flashed over to her, and she was expecting that.

No one did.

He grabbed her with the black tendrils and pulled her towards him so fast. She was so taken aback by it that she for once didn't know what to say. His green eyes were so full of rage and glowing so much that she felt herself freeze up in front of him. That same feeling she had about him came back again. He didn't even feel like a hero in that moment anymore. He showed off his gritted teeth, making her feel even more afraid of him.

"Lila..." Midoriya growled at her, "Give... Kacchan... his... quirk... back!"

Chrysalis was speechless. She didn't know what to do or what to say to him. All she could do was stare at him in awe. She glanced down to see his Miraculous glowing a shimmering rainbow around his belt. She was upset that she hadn't used his Miraculous more often.

Then she spotted something flying above Midoriya.

It was an akuma. It had been there the whole time, waiting to land on someone.

Chrysalis looked at him again with a sly smile that grew more as it got closer to him.

"What're you smiling at?" Midoriya growled.

"Oh, nothing. Just that your little friend will probably never get to use his quirk ever again. Or at least, not like he used to," Chrysalis said to him with that same sly smile.

Midoriya felt the black tendrils begin to wrap around Chrysalis even more. They even tightened up quite a bit. Her smile never went away.

"Stop... smiling!" Midoriya growled at her through gritted teeth, "Kacchan's quirk is gone because of you...!"

"Midoriya, watch out!"

Midoriya almost didn't hear Iida yell out to him. He looked up to see an akuma right in his face. He immediately let go of Chrysalis, but the black tendrils didn't go away any time soon. She smiled back at him as he backed away from the akuma. He couldn't stand that sly smile getting away from him. He had to stop her from getting away with this.

She had to pay.

The akuma absorbed into his Miraculous. Iida quickly ran by Midoriya's side and noticed that he was holding his head like he had a massive headache. He grabbed Midoriya's shoulders to hold him back.

"Midoriya! You've gotta calm down. Chrysalis is trying to get to you," Iida tried to explain to him.

"Oh. But I thought you hated me for taking Katsuki's quirk. You know, your friend that you care about so much."

Midoriya tried to ignore her and fight through the akumatization. Feeling Iida grip his shoulders helped a lot for some reason.

"Then again, he kind of treats you like dirt. I could just take the Miraculous so you don't have to deal with that ever again," Chrysalis said to him with a sly smile.

Midoriya could feel it coming back and tried to go after her. Iida held him back, but could only hold him for so long. A few of his friends came running to help out.

"Midoriya, don't do it! It's not worth it, man," Kirishima said to him as he tried to help Iida.

"He deserved to have his quirk taken away from him."

Midoriya felt something inside of him just snap and locked onto her. Chrysalis's smile grew even wider, making him want to punch her even more.

"For good."

A purple cloud formed around him, shocking both Iida and Kirishima. Suddenly, a burst of wind and dust pushed them away, and he went straight for Chrysalis. The black tendrils were much longer and more scarier looking. They even seemed to extend out behind his back. He launched at her as she ran over to the machine.

Her smile never went away, making him even more angry.

Chrysalis stopped at the machine to find the other Miraculous that wasn't even finished. Ashido was at it again with the chains trying to melt them. She got one of Uraraka's arms free and was trying to melt the other one.

In a split second, Midoriya had appeared right before her very eyes. The black tendrils had wrapped around her in an instant that she had the chance of escaping him. His eyes were practically just glowing green eyes at this point.

"Give Kacchan's quirk back! Now!" Midoriya cried out.

The whole class was shocked to see Midoriya looking so scary. He launched at Chrysalis so fast that they could barely see him. Even Bakugo was in shock to see him doing this because of what just happened.

"How would I know how to reverse it? I just took it. That's all," Chrysalis said through the tight tendrils.

The black tendrils just seemed to tighten even more as he gritted his teeth even more. Chrysalis couldn't move, not even a little. For a moment, she actually was terrified of him. She could feel the tendrils squeezing her so much that she let out a cry.

"Midoriya! Stop!"

He looked up and saw Uraraka out of her chains. She had finally gotten out of them.

Midoriya's eyes softened a little once he saw her. Even the black tendrils loosened a little around Chrysalis.

"You've been akumatized. You and I both know that this is not worth it. She is not worth it," Uraraka said to him.

Midoriya looked down at what he was doing and felt instant regret. The look on her face made him feel absolutely terrible. He backed away from her, causing the black tendrils to let go of Chrysalis.

Uraraka cautiously walked up to him, but Midoriya took a big step back.

"Stay away! I don't want to hurt you!" Midoriya cried out.

"But you can break out of it. I know you can!" Uraraka said to him with a determined look.

Midoriya stopped for a moment and realized that everyone was looking at him. They all looked worried for him. Not just Bakugo.

Class 1-A had even gotten Bakugo out of the chains. He still didn't look so good. If anything, he still looked sick to his stomach. His could feel tears form under his eyes when he saw Bakugo look so distraught and pale.

"Kacchan... I--"

Suddenly, Midoriya felt another headache coming on. Uraraka ran over to him, but he still stopped her from coming over. He could tell that they all worried about him, but he didn't want to lose control of his powers again. He was not going to let that happen like last time.

He had to get out of there so he wouldn't hurt anyone.

Midoriya felt something coming out of his arms, but quickly made a run for it.

"Deku! Come back!" Uraraka cried out.

Iida grabbed her before she could run off to go after him. She was about to yell at him, but then she saw the look on his face. She could tell that he was worried about him, too. She really wanted to leave the class behind to go after him, but she let Iida do what he could to take care of things.

Uraraka looked back to where Midoriya had left them, hoping that he was okay.

Another amazing chapter!

This was quite a challenge to write! I wanted the previous chapter to kind of work together with this one, so I hope turned out good! Bakugo's quirk is gone?! But something's wrong with him ever since it's been taken away! Midoriya is not taking it very well, and he got akumatized because of it! This akuma came from the chapter, Getting Help! Chrysalis released it in the lair when Miss Hound and King Monkey betrayed her, just a reminder. Midoriya ran out of the lair because he didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone!

King Monkey and Miss Hound finally stood up to Chrysalis!
