Yuya was all smiles as he left the school with his counterparts and his new boyfriend. He didn't even notice his counterparts glaring at Sawatari. The blonde certainly noticed, however, and it was making him a little nervous.
"Say Yuya, why don't you and I go to this little cafe that I like?" Sawatari suggested. "I've been wanting to take you there for a while now!" Yuya lit up, but before he could say anything, Yugo interjected, "Are you asking him out on a date?!"
Sawatari was quiet for a moment, then said, "Maybe."
"I'd love to go with you!" Yuya said happily, smiling at him. Sawatari smiled back at him. Before he and Yuya could leave, however, Yuto grabbed the taller boy's arm. "Remember what we said," he warned. "And don't think you'll be able to hide it if you hurt him or do anything to him without his consent. We'll know the moment it happens."
"I'm not gonna do anything like that to him, honest!" Sawatari protested. Yuri casually pulled out his deck and started looking through it. "You better not!~"
"Guys!" Yuya whined, scandalized. "Be nice!" Yuto ruffled his tomato hair. "We're just trying to make sure you're safe."
"Yeah, but Sawatari wouldn't do that kind of stuff!" Yuya protested. Yugo raised an eyebrow. "Really? Cuz from what I saw of your memories when we were one, he'd done some pretty bad things to you when the two of you first met…"
"He's a good guy, really!" Yuya all but whined. Yuri smiled and said, "Yeah, well, we just wanna make sure he stays a 'good guy' and doesn't backtrack."
Yuya groaned and turned away sulkily. Yuto looked at Sawatari. "You two can go now, just remember to treat Yuya with the love and respect he deserves."
"Don't worry," Sawatari said. "I will."
