Takes place between Showtime (7x11) and Potential (7x12), right after Buffy is done with the girls in the basement from chapter 18.
Buffy entered her bedroom to fetch a jacket, trying to ignore Dawn freaking out about being late to school.
She paused when she saw Spike passed out on top of her bed.
Silly vampire.
She wouldn't have minded if he'd slipped under the covers. She knew he liked to feel the comforting weight as he slept.
Without thinking, she grabbed her spare blanket and draped it over him.
"Buffy!" Dawn thundered from downstairs.
Rolling her eyes, Buffy retreated from the room and watched fondly as he turned to bury his nose in her pillow, inhaling with a pleased little moan.
You just know Spike is having the best dreams right now ^^ And Buffy is gonna spend all day thinking how cute he looked sleeping in her bed xD
