Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey soon learn that they aren't the only mutant Turtles in this world as they are joined by five new turtles, trained in the ways Ninjitusu like them and now together they must protect their city and the Earth from the forces of the Kraang and the Foot, and awaken powers they never knew they had. (Takes Place after Episode 2: Invasion of the Squirrelanoids)

36. Battle for New York

At the Turtles' Outpost, everyone was sound asleep while the Kraang continued to patrol the city…everyone except two turtles, one smart chicken and ice cream feline.

Dr. Cluckingsworth typed certain directions on a computer for Mikey and Ames, who were wearing goggles, to follow as they mixed certain chemicals, even some fishbones, an applecore and a slice of pizza as they glowed a blue color.

Mikey then held up the Plutonium with a calculating expression, "Hmm, I do believe this Plutonium should react flawless with the sodium bicarbonates." He said in a British accent before turning to his partner, "What say you, Professor Amoly?" He asked.

"Yes, I conclude your hypothesis as strong promise Professor Michelangelo. But it has yet to be tested and proven." Ames said while looking at a blank note pat before turning to , "Doctor, do we have your permission to proceed?"

typed a 'Yes' on the computer while Ice Cream Kitty Licked herself, "Then let us add this hyperbole solution to Donnie's retro mutagen." Mikey said as while holding up the Retro-Mutagen just when Donnie and Tal walked into the lab, wondering what all the noise was... until they saw what Mikey and Ames was doing and were wide awake.

"Mikey…" Donnie started.

"Ames…" Tal said at the same time.

"HAVE YOU BOTH LOST YOUR SHELLS?!" Both Donnie and Tal roared furiously at them at once.

"Pimposh and Tut Tut my good people!" Mikey dismissed.

"You both have been at work with this concoction for too long with too little results," Ames explained with her chin up, "But with the good Doctor's aid, Michelangelo and I have found a sound solution to your dilemma."

"We've been brewing that Retro-Mutagen for months!" Tal exclaimed ragefully.

"Oh, if you two ruin it, I swear, we'll-" Donnie was cut off.

"D, T, hold on. We got this." Mike said as he was about to pour the blue chemical into the Retro-Mutagen, but Donnie quickly grabbed it but tried to move it away from him, but Ames caught it as Tal tried to stop her. The four turtles fought over the mixture and in their struggle, some of it spill it with a drop of it right over the Retro-Mutagen.

Tal and Donnie gaped in horror as the blue drop fell into the Retro-Mutagen and mixed with it, but after a second, nothing happened as they sighed in relief. But after a moment, the Retro-Mutagen started bubbling and glowing.

"Oh, oh no, guys!" Tal cried in panic as they all screamed before the Retro-Mutagen glowed brighter as they were flung back to a wall as it bubbled harder and overflowed.

"It's gonna explode!" Donnie cried in a high-pitch tone as they hugged each other and braced for an explosion, until suddenly, the Retro-Mutagen stopped glowing and bubbling, and returned to its normal state as they all looked at it.

"Uh, well, that was weak." Mikey commented in disappointment.

"Anti-Climate is more like it," Ames added.

"Anti-Climatic, and now that we're still alive," Tal started before she and Donnie glared at their siblings, "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" She roared as she pounced on Ames while Donnie lunged at Mikey.

"Now you listen to us!" Donnie yelled out as he flipped Mikey.

"No, you listen to us!" Mikey retorted, kicking Donnie away as two figures came up from the lab, which Dr. Cluckingsworth and Ice Cream Kitty noticed.

"Just give us a second!" Ames demanded as she waved her fists at Tal while she held her back.

"We're gonna teach you two such a lesson-" Tal yelled before her arm was twisted and her neck was pressed while Donnie was whacked in the head by a cane before his neck was pressed as well. Mikey was stomped on his chest, knocking the wind out of him, before his neck was pressed on too while Ames was jabbed in the side by the blunt end of a sword before her chin too was pressed on. It was revealed to be Orimura and Splinter, Splinter with his sons and Orimura with his daughters, as they kept pressure on their nerve points.

"What is going on here?" Splinter questioned them calmly.

"What is all this commotion?" Orimura added as April walked in and saw the Retro-Mutagen.

"Since when does Retro-Mutagen start doing that?" April questioned as they all looked and saw that the Retro-Mutagen was sparkling.

Later, once everyone was up, Donnie and Tal examined the Retro-Mutagen, and saw the cyan-green perfected Mutagen cells started shifting around before turning normal orange cells. "Wow! Its bonding rate is phenomenal!" Donnie exclaimed in awed as he gave a chuckle. "I can't believe it! This will save us months of lab work!"

"Alright, now let me try something, just one small drop of Retro-Mutagen," Tal started, sampling some of the Retro-Mutagen and put it into a canister of Mutagen as it turned from green to Orange, "And it will transform entire of normal mutagen into pure Retro-Mutagen!" She said in amazement.

"Hahaha! Ames, Mikey, you two are amazing!" Donnie said to the two young turtles, sitting with Raph, Jenny, Miwa, Keno and Caitlyn.

"We know." Mikey said as he started playing with his Unicorn-man action figure with a slice of pizza.

"Trust us, it surprised us as well." Ames said as she took a bite out of her pizza.

"Wow, Mikey and Ames found our saving grace?" Jenny said in complete surprise.

"I know, what are the odds?" Keno asked.

"Astronomically small," Caitlyn answered with a brow.

"Seriously, Did we step into some kind of alternate dimension here?" Raph asked in disbelief.

"Okay. What kind of chemicals did you two use to help create the rapid cellular bonding?" Donnie asked excitedly while Tal lifted up the blue mixture they managed to save.

"Because a single drop of this stuff will save us enough time." Tal added with a smile.

Mikey and Ames looked at each other, "Um, actually it was Dr. Cluckingsworth who came up with the formula, you're gonna have to take it up with her," Ames explained while pointing to the chicken who was pecking at a pizza crust.

"Nope. Same dimension." Miwa said with a dull look and her arms crossed.

"Yeah, figures." Raph said with a shrug.

Donnie and Tal looked at their younger siblings in disbelief, "Are you kidding?" Donnie asked, "The day you two do ONE awesome thing finally comes!" He started.

"And now we find out you only found it because of a Chicken!?" Tal finished in disbelief.

"Hey, Dr. Cluckingsworth is a smart gal! She's a bird brain after all!" Mikey reminded them as Dr. Cluckingsworth clucked. "No offense, Doc."

"Children, be grateful that Dr. Cluckingsworth intelligence coupled with Michelangelo and Amoly tomfoolery, the gift that it did." Orimura said as Mikey and Ames smiled proudly, "What matters now is that we have the means to undo the damage the Kraang have done to New York,"

"Orimura is correct." Splinter said seriously while looking out the window while overseeing the mutated city. "So now, you must find all of the transformed people of New York and change them back."

"But Sensei and Grandmaster, we don't even know what happened to them." Leo pointed out.

"So far there's only a few stragglers roaming the streets, but after a day or so, they disappeared right off the city maps." Olly said while rubbing his chin. "It's like the Kraang are collecting them, but how and why?"

"I know why, because I saw it myself," Miwa answered as she sneered, "While I hiding from the Kraang I occasionally saw them rounding up hybrids and taking them to Dimension X, saying they would be put to better use as Kraang Energy Crystal Workforce." She explained.

"Or in other words, Slave Labor," Vee said hatefully.

"Miwa's right. We see the Hybrids in our dreams." April said as she and her sister huddled close as they have visions of the Kraang hybrids.

"Millions of mutated humans trapped in that horrible place." Robyn added in horror.

"At least we know where the Kraang are holding the people: Dimension X." Naomi said seriously, "And more fortunately, we already have a means of traveling there."

"The Kraang Portal in TCRI," Leatherhead answered.

"So we drop into TCRI, break into their portal and zap ourselves to Dimension X." Raph said, cracking his knuckles.

"And then we can put the hurt on the Kraang once and for all!" Jenny finished eagerly.

"Yo we can do this! We can save New York!" Mikey shouted in victory.

"So we know where to go, and what we gotta do! Let's do this!" Ames cheered.

"And we've got the perfect invention to storm Dimension X!" Donnie called as he and Tal smirk.

On the rooftop not far from the Outpost, the ten turtles, Miwa and Leatherhead are in front of a water tower. "A water tower? That's your new invention?" Leo questioned before they, san Tal and Donnie, laughed in amusement.

"Seriously? That's it?" Miwa laughed with a smirk and a brow. "I know I'm talking to the guys who have balls of trash as cannon balls but this takes the cake."

"Oh wow, that's one giant step for turtle kind Donnie, Tal. Nice." Raph teased.

"It's not exactly what it appears to be." Donnie said annoyed

"Never judge a book by its cover guys." Tal added with her arms crossed before Olly sensed something coming as he looked up.

"Guys, get down!" Olly called as they all hid under the water tower as a Stealth Ship flew by as the group looked through the shadows and saw more Kraang droids and probes searching the area.

"What are they doing?" Vee questioned in a whisper.

"They are scanning for any human survivors to mutate and add to their slave labor." Leatherhead whispered with a growl.

"If there are this many out here, that means at least a couple of humans could be close by." Leo whispered seriously.

"Then let us make sure they don't continue their mutation path." Naomi said seriously as they all nodded and rushed off to find the humans.

The Kraang kept searching around as a probe droid scanned a building, which has a man and woman inside huddled together in fear as the probe scanned for a bit before flying off. Though it seemed they were safe and few seconds later they were being dragged out by the Kraang.

"Resistance to Kraang is that which is known as futile," One Kraang Droid said as they threw the man and woman in front of another droid that was equipped with a mutagen gun.

"Prepare to be mutated by Kraang." The Kraang holding the mutagen gun said as he aimed it at the two humans.

"Please!/Don't do it!/No!" The two begged, but before the Kraang could fire at them, he was hit by two sais, daggers, arrows, fans, and throwing stars, which caused him to missed a couple of times before firing mutagen in the air and was about to hit the man and woman, but then Leo jumped in and pushed them out of the way before they were hit.

"Are you two alright?" Leo asked before the man and woman got up with a scream.

"Alien turtles!" The woman cried out as she and the man rushed off.

Leo just waved them off, "Nah it's cool! It's not like we saved your lives or anything!" He called sarcastically as he turned to face the Kraang with his katana drawn.

Before the Kraang could fight Leo, Leatherhead rolled over them before ripping one in half, chomping down on a Kraang and spitting it away. "KRAANG!" He roared as the other turtles and Miwa jumped in.

Raph and Vee took their weapons out of the down Kraang as more began to fire on them. "Oh, you Kraang are looking for some street fighting?" Vee questioned with a smirk.

"Well you found it!" Raph called as he twirled his sais. "Let's kick some Kraang!" He said as they all charged into battle while taking cover or blocking the blaster shots.

Jenny then tossed a crate into the air, which Donnie jumped forward and broke it as he whacked a Kraang Head. "Coming at ya, Jenny!" Donnie called as he whacked the Kraang up, but Jenny punched it away as it crashed into another Kraang, but then a probe droid came flying in and armed its blasters at them, which they avoided its shots. "Stupid probe!" Donnie exclaimed.

Tal then fired an arrow at the probe, which hit it through the eye as Mikey came in while avoiding blaster shots as he caught the probe in his chains and yanked it down as it hit the floor before he noticed more Kraang coming from behind. "Back up off me, yo!" He called as he tossed the probe away, which crashed into the Kraang as they fell down.

Miwa swiftly dodged the laser fire, slashing her tanto at the Droids before jabbing into the head of the lead Droid, "Ha, is that all you got?!" Miwa questioned, pulling her weapon before more droids started firing at her. "Clearly not!" She exclaimed before she rushed off as the others began to get overwhelmed as they stood back to back while the Kraang surrounded them.

"They're too many!" Olly called out with his axe raised. "Mikey, we need an exit!"

Mikey then pulled out a smoke bomb, "So long suckas!" He said with a smirk before throwing the bomb down but inside of smoke there was smash and squish.

"Wait, what?" Tal questioned as they all looked down and saw that it was an actual egg with a yoke inside as they all gave Mikey a look. "Mikey…"

"Oops. Must've gotten the wrong egg after making breakfast." Mikey said sheepishly, smiling before he frowned, "Alright, that one's me again."

Raph then turned to the Kraang aiming their blasters, "Welp, we're dead," He said dully.

The Kraang prepared to disintegrate the heroes, but a piece of bread hit a droid in the head. It picked up in confusion, "Oh bread!" A familiar voice to four brothers shouted as they all saw a mutant pigeon divebomb onto the bot and pecked at it. "Oh, hiya fellas." Pigeon Pete greeted with a thumbs up.

"Pigeon Pete?" Raph said with a brow.

The Kraang started firing at them, but they were all suddenly knocked down at a very quick pace by two wing-like fins knocking them down, revealing a familiar manta-ray they know as he stood there with a pose. "Ray Fillet?" Mikey asked.

The Kraangs' eyes then glowed blue as they all suddenly aimed their blasters at each other, taking one and another out as a strange monkey mutant, with Kraang Armor, floated over with a combat pose. "Dr. Rockwell?" Donnie asked in shock.

When the remaining droids started firing at the three, a shadow rushed past them, destroying the robots before the last one standing was knocked down before the Kraang itself was crushed under a familiar mace, "You," Leo said with a glare to the figure.

"Slash," Olly said in surprise to the larger turtle.

"Greetings, Ladies and Gentlemen." Slash said with a smirk as the rest of the friendly mutants huddled together. "Long time no see."

Miwa turned to her siblings and friends, "Um, do you know these guys?" She asked, feeling pretty lost right now.

A bit later, they climbed up the rooftops to avoid anymore Kraang patrols as Slash, Jenny and Raph shared fistbumps, "Good to see you again, Slash," Jenny said with a smile.

"I didn't think I'd ever see you again, buddy," Raph said with a relieved smile.

"And it's good to see you two as well. And the rest of you." Slash said with a smile before turning to Miwa. "And you must be the infamous Shredder's Daughter/Leonardo's girlfriend who can never be trusted, Raphael gripes about so much," He said as Raph panicked and gestured for Slash to stop.

Miwa then turned to Raph with a look, "Is that right?" She asked in annoyance to the Red-clad turtle.

"Hey! You were on the Shredder's side! Give me a break!" Raph quickly said in defense before turning to Slash. "And Slash, quick version, Karai name is actually Miwa Splinter's daughter, which makes us her brothers. And she's on our side, and also, she's half mutant now."

"Okay," Slash said slowly, trying to process all this before shaking his head, "Anyway, friends meet my team, dedicated to fighting the Kraang and Foot Clan: The Mighty Mutanimals!" He introduced, gesturing to his team as the Hamato warriors looked impressed while Leo was suspicious.

"You formed your own team after the Foot and Kraang took over?" Vee asked in surprise.

"That's right." Slash said with a smirk. "You already know my team's sea scout." He said while gesturing to Ray.

"Ahoy there Turtles, been a long time hasn't it?" Ray said with a salute.

Olly gave him a handshake, "It's good to see you again, Ray," He said.

Rockwell was currently picking at his fur while Donnie and Tal looked at him in amazement, "And what, dear children, are you starring at?" Rockwell questioned.

"Dr. Rockwell?" Donnie asked, surprised to see the monkey mutant had regained his intelligence and new powers.

"Aren't you the scientist the Rat King mutated to get psychic powers?" Tal asked, remembering what Donnie told them of Dr. Rockwell's past.

"Indeed," Rockwell said, getting face to face with them, "Then I was captured and experimented on by the Kraang, and in the process my Psychic powers were amplified and my vast intellect was restored." He explained while fighting around the two.

Tal rubbed her chin, "Fascinating, and I take it that psychic amplifier you're wearing is what allows you to use your powers with such control and power, Doctor?" She guessed.

"Correct my dear, and please, call me Tyler. It is always an honor to meet such a natural gifted mind," Rockwell said as he took Tal's hand and kissed it.

Tal gave a small giggle. "Uh, thanks." She said before Donnie growled at Rockwell from that action.

"Rockwell's the brain of the team." Slash spoke up to them before gesturing to Pete on the billboard. "And this is the final member of the mutanimals…"

"Pigeon Pete?" Raph questioned with a brow. "The world's most useless mutant?"

"Hey!" Pete called in offensive as he flew down to Raph, but he moved aside as he crashed into the floor but he stood back up. "I've toughing up a lot since the last tim you saw me! I was just a pigeon boy, now I'm a pigeon man!" He called as he showed a tattoo of a flaming pretzel that said 'Pigeon's Run'. "I'm the team's spy!" He said with a smile.

"More like Decoy," Raph muttered as Pete gave a look.

Before the pigeon could retort, Slash held up a loaf of bread, "Oh, bread!" Pete cheered before Slash threw it behind him and Pete started pecking at it.

"Some leader you are, Slash!" Leo retorted as he pushed Raph aside, "Using your teammate as bait!" He said before Olly pulled him back.

"Ease up, Leo. I'm sure Slash doesn't see Pete as a human, err, pigeon shield," Olly told the Blue-clad turtle, "And there's no need to get so hostile."

"Are you seriously forgetting how Slash attacked us, tried to destroy us?" Leo asked with a glare.

Miwa then stepped forward, "So did I, when I was still working for Shredder," She reminded Leo, "And the same with Leatherhead," She added, gesturing to the alligator.

Leo realized her point but remained stubborn, "That's, that's totally different!" He stated.

"To be fair, mine was a bit extreme," Slash said to them with a guilty look. "I wasn't right in the head then. I blame the mutagen." He said while clutching his head.

"He did help us against Newtralizer and helped Leatherhead back into Dimension X to spy on the Kraang," Ames said to them.

"And everyone deserves a second chance." Mikey added.

"We trust Slash with our lives," Ray said while placing a hand on Slash's arm.

Olly then nodded, "Good enough for me," He said before walking up to Slash, "So Slash, do you and your team know anything about what the Kraang are gonna do next?" He asked, getting back to the problem at hand.

"We do, and it's not pretty," Slash said with a serious tone. "But we can't talk here, too many eyes and ears. Follow us to our hideout, our benefactor can fill you in on the details."

"Lead the way," Olly said before Leo got between them.

"Whoa, hold up with the 'lead the way'; you don't give orders to my team," Leo stated, jerking a thumb to himself, "I'm the older guy, this guy!"

"Leo, You may be the leader of this team, but you have to recognize we have a common enemy," Olly said to Leo seriously. "Slash and his team have been protecting New York for months while we were away, and if we're going to stop the Kraang and eventually Shredder, we're going to need every ally we can get, Capisce?" He questioned with a look.

Leo growled at the Green-clad turtle momentarily before he sighed in defeat. "Fine. But if this is a trap, your shell is mine, Slash." He said firmly to Slash.

"Fair enough," Slash said with a shrug. "Now let's go." He said as they all jumped over the billboard as a probe spied on them, Slash turned and saw nothing before he continued on with the others.

Soon, they all arrived at a dark warehouse as the group jumped through the roof and the Mutanimals scattered while the Hamato Warriors huddled close before a light shined on them, which made them draw their weapons and face the figure at the light, showing a man leaning on a desk. "Greetings, Ninja Turtles, Leatherhead, and Ms. Hamato," A familiar voice said.

The turtles gasped as the lights turned off and they saw the man wearing a familiar brown coat and fedora, "Jack?" Olly said, stunned.

"Good see you friends, been a long time," Kurtzman said with a smile.

"We thought you got mutated like the rest of New York." Raph said in surprise as they walked up to him.

"I made it through." Kurtzman said with a proud smile and his arms crossed as the Mutanimals came to them again. "I tried to find you all, but you were gone and Ms. Hamato was slithering across New York. Which unknowingly helped me track down these noble warriors to help keep up the fight against the Kraang as well as helping as many people get out of the city safely," He explained, gesturing to the Mutanimals.

Leo then shot Slash a look, "Wouldn't exactly call them all noble," He commented as Slash glared and Olly nudged him slightly.

"So Jack, what's the situation right now?" Olly asked the man with his hands on his hips.

"Straight to the point. I've always liked that about you, Olivier." Kurtzman said with a smile. "Well as of now, No one in the outside world knows what's really going on. The military, the media, they're no help. They're all controlled by the Kraang." He said.

"We saw on the news and our welcoming party when we returned." Vee commented.

"What's more, we've learned your old friend, Oruku Saki has been secretly moving all sorts of illegal weapons and equipment into the city thanks to Kraang, and I believe he could gearing up for a final assault against you," Kurtzman explained with a grim look, "And with the Kraang getting closer and closer to their dream of completely mutating the Earth, it's not looking good,"

"We're just lucky they haven't expanded far from New York after three months." Raph said with a brow.

"That's because they used up a large portion of their mutagen supply when they invaded the city. Which is lucky for us." Kurtzman said with a smile, "Because it gives us a chance to halt their plans for good,"

Olly nodded, "And the only way we're gonna do that is if we work together and take the fight to them," He declared.

"Agreed." Kurtzman said with a nod.

"What?!" Slash exclaimed.

"No way!" Leo protested as he and Slash glared at each other.

"I'm not teaming up with him!" Slash argued before Kurtzman slammed his hand on the desk.

"That's enough!" Kurtzman yelled as they turned to him. "We cannot afford to waste any more time!"

"He is correct." Leatherhead said in agreement with a serious tone. "We must strike now if we are to free the city."

"So, what are we dealing with, Jack?" Naomi asked. "Your specialty with the Kraang would've given you some intel on what they're doing now."

"Glad you asked, Maoliar," Kurtzman said as he showed slides of the Kraang building a giant rocket, "The Kraang have spent the last three months, pouring what remains of their mutagen to build a mutagen missile which they are gonna fire at the Earth itself," He explained as it showed a slide of lizard woman mutant, much to the heroes confusion and surprise, "Ahem, just ignore that last one," Kurtzman said in embarrassment and turning back to the previous slide.

"I'll pretend I didn't see that," Miwa commented with a look.

Donnie looked panicked though at the size of the missile, "There's enough mutagen in that payload-" He started.

"To mutate the Earth into a perfect reflection of Dimension X!" Rockwell finished.

"It's rude to finish other people's sentences, doctor," Donnie commented dully.

"Well, clearly, you'll have to speak faster, Donatello," Rockwell said with a smirk.

Olly rubbed his chin, "Hmm, and with our return the Kraang will have cranked their plans into overdrive," He said in concern before turning to Slash, "Slash, while my team has Stealth and Speed, clearly your team has brawn. You think we can work together on this?" He asked.

"Well since you asked so nicely," Slash said with a smirk and shouldering his mace, "I think we can play nice for a while," He said as Olly nodded and Leo turned to him.

"Olly, you can't make an alliance just like that! I'm the leader so I decide who we work with!" Leo reminded the older turtle, "Our family's always been enough to take on the Kraang, so we don't need Slash or his team."

"That maybe true, Leo, but last time we tried facing them, the lair was destroyed, you ended up in a coma for three months, and lastly, we barely made it out by the skin of our shells." Olly reminded firmly. "And with the Kraang knowing that we're back, it's gonna be tricky to get to that missile. No way to stop it without a fight, and by then, they'll launch, so we'll need some extra muscle."

"But-" Leo tried to say before Vee put a hand on his shoulder.

"Leo, I'm sorry but Olly's right," Vee said with a frown, "This is bigger than ten turtles and their friends can handle alone, we need help," She said as the other turtles, Leatherhead and Miwa nodded in agreement.

"So we're doing this, together, Leo. All of us. Understand?" Olly asked with his arms crossed.

Leo groaned as he lowered his head. "Fine. We'll do it together. But I won't like it." He muttered.

"Good." Olly said as he turned to the others.

"I'm the order guy." Leo complained under his breath while Vee patted him on the back to comfort him.

"Now, let's consider how we can-" Olly was cut off when he heard the sound of robot feet on the ground, "Oh no, we've been followed!" He exclaimed while drawing his axe.

"Wait, what?!" Tal called as they heard banging onto the walls.

"Oh, no! They've found me! I don't know how, but they've found me!" Kurtzman called as the doors were busted down by a bio-droid with battalions of Kraang behind it while some Kraang Droids came from above and aimed their blasters at them.

"It is the ones called the turtles. And the others calling themselves the Mighty Mutanimals." A Kraang Droid declared.

Slash and Olly sized up their odds, "Olivier, we don't have time for this," Slash said, knowing even if they could fight their way out, every second wasted meant the Kraang would launch the Missile.

"I know, stopping the missile is more important," Olly agreed before turning to Leo, "Leo, forget this robo-bozos, we need to fall back and-"

He didn't get to finish as Leo drew his katanas, "Team, take 'em down!" Leo ordered before charging into battle.

"Leo!" Olly called in ire as the Blue-clad turtle was already cutting down Kraang as the robots started firing, "Oh, nevermind, let's just fight!" He told the others in defeat.

"Get 'em!" Slash called next as they all charged into battle as they started fighting the Kraang, taking out some droids while Leatherhead, Mikey, and Ames were fighting a Bio-droid. "We may be on the clock, but gotta love smashing Kraang droids." He said.

Donnie was running up some stairs twirling his staff around to block the shots. "Allow me Donatello." Rockwell said as he picked up some droids with his powers and threw them away as a blaster landed near Pete.

"I had things under control!" Donnie yelled in irritation.

"Yes. You and your little stick." Rockwell teased as a Kraang came up behind them before an arrow was shot at it to the head as the two smart males turned and saw Tal.

"No time for arguing, two! We have a fight to win and a mission to complete!" Tal reminded them as she shot another Kraang without looking.

"Too right dear Talena, too right," Rockwell said in agreement while Donnie frowned at him before they were blasted from the side by Pete.

"I can't stop it!" Pete called as the blasts from the gun he was holding knocked him over the side and crashed into a couple of droids.

"Look out, Pete!" Naomi called as she jumped and slashed the other droid and deflected the lasers while Pete flew away.

Leatherhead was still wrestling with a Kraang Bio-Droid before he was knocked aside, "Darn dirty ape!" Ray called as he jumped on the Bio-Droid before it turned and aimed its butt cannons.

"Watch out!" Jenny called as the cannons aimed at her, Raph, Leatherhead and Slash, "The guy's got a hot one in the chamber!" She yelled in panic before the Bio-Droid started firing at them and they ran away.

Leo deflected most of the lasers with his swords as Vee rushed next to him, "Leo, we don't have time for this, we need to take out the missile!" She said while throwing a tessan at one droid, "You know that these droids aren't worth it!"

Leo groaned in aggravation, "Ever since we started this mission everyone keeps telling me I'm doing everything wrong, but I've led us up to this point haven't I, I get results!" Leo told his girlfriend, "I'll show Olly and Slash why I'm the leader of this team and that I can lead us to save New York!"

"Leo, this isn't about you!" Vee told him, "This is about saving New York, there's no shame in asking for help!" She said.

While they were debating, Krutzman saw his computer in the crossfire, "The Kraang Intel!" He worried as he rushed to his computer, downloaded the intel on a drive and pulled it out but not before he was shot in the back and yelled in pain, falling to the ground.

The others saw this and gapped in horror, "NO!" They all yelled.

"Mr. Kurtzman!" Pete cried to the unconscious man, "NNOO!" He yelled as Leatherhead rushed to Kurtzman and picked him up while Ray took out the Bio-droid but more Kraang arrived.

"Leo, we need to retreat now!" Vee called anxiously, knowing they couldn't win before the missile was ready.

"No! We won't retreat!" Leo said stubbornly, "We can beat these guys I know we can!"

Raph gave Leo a hard look, "Leo, this isn't a game! Jack is down and that missile could launch any second, so start being a leader and call a tactical retreat!" He stated as Leo gave a frustrated grumble.

"Raph, I got this! Trust me!" Leo said as he still faced the Kraang droids before Olly came over.

"Leo, I'm sorry bro, but I'm pulling out experience rank and taking out!" Olly said firmly as he turned to the others. "Everyone, retreat!" He called.

"No! We can-" Leo tried to say before Olly slapped him, which shocked him.

"Leo, we can debate about this later but right now, we need to move! Now!" Olly called as he and the others rushed off.

"Mutanimals, we're leaving!" Slash called as both teams rushed out the exit with Leatherhead carrying Kurtzman as they made it outside while the Kraang kept firing at them until they were out of sight.

A bit later, the streets were on fire while the Kraang were patrolling the city more so than usual as they walked past the outpost before a tribe turtle looked out and quickly covered the windows while hearing the Kraang walk by until they were silent.

Meanwhile, Harumi was treating Kurtzman while Orimura paced in front of the Turtles and Mutanimals, "Not only did Leonardo's reckless actions waste valuable time in stopping the Kraang's missile, leading you into a fight that you could not win, but you also almost cost your friend his life!" Orimura said, scowling at Leo specifically.

Splinter glared at Leo, "Leonardo, how could you have shown such carelessness?" He demanded as Leo shrunk back under his father's gaze, "A leader knows when to pick his battles and that his comrades are more valuable than victory."

Leo looked down in shame. "I-I don't know what happened. I just thought with all of us together, we could take the Kraang and go after that missile."

"Yeah, well, that sure worked out." Raph sarcastically said.

"I don't get it. I was doing everything like we usually do." Leo said in confliction. "How could it go so wrong?"

"Leo, we told you we had to retreat and I know for a fact you knew that the missile was more important," Vee said with a frown, "Was it really about beating the Kraang or trying to prove you're the leader?" She asked.

Leo opened his mouth to answer but couldn't as he turned to scowls or frowns of disappointment and concern of his friends and family before he looked down, sighing solemnly.

Kurtzman groaned and looked to them, "All the information on the Kraang Missile… is on this drive," He said, handing the Drive to Tal, "You have to work together, because if you don't, all life on Earth… is doomed…" He said before he passed out.

"Jack!" Slash said as they all looked worried, "Is he?" He trailed off before Harumi held up a hand.

"Don't worry, he's alive, just unconscious," Harumi assured, "I can cauterize the wound but we're short on supplies."

"Not to worry, Rumi." Casey said as he and the other human teens walked off with a few tribe turtles. "There's a pharmacy downtown we'll hit for supplies."

Splinter then turned to the heroes, "We will take care of Kurtzman, the rest of you must stop that missile and rescue the people of New York, before it's too late," He instructed as they nodded.

"Hai Sensei, and don't worry, we will stop the Kraang," Leo promised while Splinter frowned.

"Forgive me, my son, but I am rather doubtful," Splinter said, surprising Leo, "The way you acted in battle, ignoring your team, disregarding the necessity of an alliance and refusing to retreat and risking yours and your family's lives."

Leo looked down for a moment before approaching his father, "But I'm still the best turtle to lead this team! That's why you chose me!" He defended as Splinter shook his head and sighed.

"I'm afraid, with what has happened, I believe I have made a mistake," Splinter said seriously.

The others looked shocked by Splinter's words while Leo looked deeply hurt, "What?" Leo asked.

"I am sorry, Leonardo, I've always known since you were young you had the potential to lead but your actions have proven that you have much to understand what makes a true leader." Splinter said to him. "And as your teacher, your father, the responsibility of your lives and the lives of your siblings falls on me to do what is necessary. And because of that it is my duty to…strip your position of leader," He said regretfully.

The others looked in shock while Leo's eyes widened in hurt and sadness. "B-But Sensei, I-I've led the team before…e-even before we met Olly and the others…" He tried to say before Splinter placed a hand on his shoulder.

"My son, please understand that I do not do this to hurt you but because I love you, nor am I any less confident you are destined to be a great Leader." Splinter said softly, "You are brave, strong and have many other great qualities of a leader but only when tempered with patience, understanding and humility which you still lack and only experience can give you. And once I have seen these inside you, I will know you are a true leader, understand?" He asked with a smile.

Leo thought for a moment, taking in his father's words as he gave a small sigh and nod. "Hai, Sensei. I understand." He said to Splinter solemnly. "I-I guess I still have lot to learn,"

"You've already begun," Splinter said with a smile, "Foruntaly, I already know another who can help guide you down this path," He said before walking past Leo and over to Olly, "You, Olivier," He said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Olly was surprised by this. "M-Me?" He asked.

"You have shown many qualities like my son. And you have far greater experience at being a leader than Leonardo." Splinter said with a smile. "Certainly, you are most fitting to lead on and teach my son true leadership."

Olly looked down in thought before turning to Splinter, "If you think this is best, then I'll do my best." He said determinedly before looking at Leo, "If you're okay with this Leo."

Leo hesitated to answer before he gave a small smile. "Yeah. You showed me many times that you are a great leader. I wouldn't mind learning from an expert." He said.

Olly nodded before something came up his mind. "Well, if it makes you feel a bit better, you can act as my second in command, and take the lead when I'm not available, since you know your brothers and your city more than any of us." He suggested with a smile.

Leo kept his smile, which got a bit bigger. "I can live with that." He said.

Olly then offered his hand and Leo took it as they shook and the others came over, "Way to go Olly." Raph complimented before turning to Leo, "Sorry Leo," He said.

"It's okay, Raph. I got myself into it. So I gotta deal with it." Leo assured them. "And uh, don't we have a missile to take down?"

"Right, the Kraang Missile." Olly nodded with a determined look. "Okay, team. Let's group up in the lab to come up with a plan." He said as they nodded.

In Tal and Donnie's lab, they inserted Kurtzman's drive into the computer as they looked at the missile's schematics. "Okay, we found two options on how to stop the missile," Tal spoke up.

"We can either disable the guiding system or better yet…" Donnie continued with a smirk, but Rockwell cut him off.

"Hack in and send the missile somewhere it can't do any harm." Rockwell finished as Donnie glared at him while Rockwell gave him a teasing smirk.

"Grr! Stupid psychic chimp!" Donnie growled as Rockwell did monkey sounds and his eyeballs popped out from his sockets before giving Donnie a look.

"Okay, easy, guys! No fighting." Olly said firmly to the two before having a thoughtful look. "While both options sound good. We need to attack from two sides to see if either one can succeed."

"So what is your plan?" Naomi asked.

"Okay, we turtles will ninja in from above, and then we will drop down to try and disarm the missile," Olly said with a serious tone. "Leatherhead, you're with the Mutanimals on ground assault to try and disable it."

"I like that plan already." Slash said with a smile. "We'll handle the ground attack. They won't even know what hit them. You guys take the sky and try to disarm it while we keep the Kraang off your backs."

"Now remember, we got one shot on either front." Olly said to them. "If we fail, then we'll be living the Kraang life, forever."

"Don't worry, my friends. We'll buy you as much time as we can, good luck." Leatherhead said as he and the Mutanimals went down the hole and into the sewers.

"Well, now that we have a plan, we need a way to drop down on that missile." Leo said to them as he turned to the smart turtles. "Donnie? Tal?"

The two smart turtles gave knowing smirks. "We've got something that just might work." Donnie said with a smirk.

"And before we go there, please don't groan." Tal quickly said while they all looked at her in confusion.

They then returned to the Water Tower from earlier as the Hamato siblings groaned in exasperation, "Not this again," Jenny complained.

"Are we gonna flood the place?" Ames asked.

"Because that would be cool." Mikey said with a smile as Tal and Donnie jumped onto the Water Tower.

"Not exactly." Donnie said as he turned a wheel and they all watched in shock as air blew into the tower and it was revealed to be a new flying device for all of them.

"We give you the Turtle Blimp!" Tal exclaimed as she was at the controls.

"Whoa!/What is it?" The turtles said in awed while Ames and Mikey looked at it in confusion.

At the Kraang's Missile site, the Kraang were pumping more and more mutagen into the missile, via two Kraathatrogons. Then marching up from the Kraang was the robotic Irma, which she then got into her mech form as Subprime, who survived the Old Lair's destruction, lifted his head up with his antennas out. "You guys are a bunch of rocks! Seriously! What's been taking so long?! It's been three months?!" Subprime demanded in frustration, grabbing a droid by the neck.

"Much of the Kraang's mutagen supply was spent in the invasion of the city that which is known as New York City." A droid explained.

"What is that with the 'Kraang invasion of that which is known as New York City'?! What is that?!" Subprime questioned with air-quotes and shifting his shoulders around, "We've been here for thousands of years and none of ya can't even speak proper English?!" Subprime shouted, shaking the droid around.

"Kraang does not understand the query known as Kraang Subprime's Query." The droid replied before Subprime brought it close to his face.

"I should vaporize your sorry pink tentacled butt for insubordi-WHAA?!" Subprime and the Kraang looked up to see the Mutanimals mowing through droids like grass.

"Come on fellas, keep moving!" Slash ordered as they charged forward.

Subprime then turned to his troops, who were just standing around, "I am surrounded by idiots!" Subprime shouted in exasperation before throwing the droid he was holding, spooking the other Kraang, "Go! Move it! Hustle! Get them!" He ordered as the Kraang engaged the mutants.

---

While the Kraang and Mutanimals battled below, the Turtle Blimp flew in from above while Raph is looking through the periscope. "Guys! Check it out! The Mutanimals' ground attack is working! The Kraang don't even know we're here."

"Now we just need to disarm that missile!" Miwa said with a confident smirk.

Mikey turned to Leo, "Alright Leo, time to give the…" He trailed off as Leo looked down a bit solemnly and the Orange-Clad Turtle remembered, "Oh right, sorry bro," He said before turning to Olly, "Alright Olly, time to give the go-ahead,"

"Great plan, Olly." Leo said with a small smile.

"Eh, it takes quick thinking and cooperation, Leo." Olly said with a smile.

Leo took in this as Vee walked up to him, "You okay?" Vee asked.

"Yeah. Just listening to the words of a real leader." Leo assured her while looking away before he felt Vee hold his hand.

"Something I know you will be," Vee assured with a warm smile as Leo smiled back.

On the ground, Rockwell is cornered by the Kraang. "Feel the power of my mind!" He called as he sent a brainwave at the Kraang, knocking them away as they crashed into a Kraang Worm while Leatherhead was wrestling a Bio-Droid as Subprime looked at the controls and walked towards it.

"Oh, no you don't!" Slash called as he rushed in and whacked Subprime and charged at him as Subprime ready his sawblades and the two clashed weapons.

Above the missile, the Hamato siblings took out some ropes and carefully landed onto the missile, they wrapped the ropes around each other to keep them from falling off, Donnie was lowered down so he could cut open a window to the computer parts and tried figuring something out.

"Now according to Kurtzman's data, the missile's guidance systems use a binary code." Donnie said looking at the data.

"Um guys.. what's worse then regular Kraang?" Mikey asked, seeing something.

"Flying Kraang?!" Leo exclaimed.

"They fly now!" Ames called out.

"They fly now?!" Jenny questioned Tal.

"They fly now!" Tal added while holding onto Donnie.

"Would you stop saying that!" Miwa asked while drawing her tanto.

"Everyone, cover Donnie!" Olly ordered as he drew his axe and they all got ready for a fight.

Back on the ground, Slash is still fighting Subprime as he used his mace to block the Kraang's saw blades before Subprime grabbed him by the shell and used the headpiece to shoot lasers at him. But Slash dodged them as he whacked the head off the mech and opened it up a bit. "My head!" Subprime yelled as he looked up at Slash. "You mutant!" He yelled before he kicked Slash off and fixed his antennas.

"Ha! Nobody messes with Kraang Subprime." He bragged before turning to the missile controls. "Now to launch this sucker!" He called as he walked up to it.

Slash got up again as he grabbed Subprime's leg, trying to slow him down as the other Mutanimals saw this as they either used their powers or strength to push Subprime back as he struggled to break free. "Get off of me, you freaks!" He called as he reached his robotic hand out as he strained before he smirked and extended his finger to press the launch button as the Missile's engines activated.

"NO!" Slash yelled as they all got clear.

Donnie felt the missile shaking as he gasped while the others who were fighting the Kraang noticed it. "Aw, Shell! Dudes!" Mikey called out.

"We're too late!" Naomi said in panic.

"Hang on!" Olly called.

"For the glory of the Kraang!" Subprime declared as the missile launched up to the sky.

While on the missile, the others screamed as they tried to hold onto the missile as Tal lost her grip and was left dangling by the rope attached to Donnie, causing him to gag, as she screamed. "Donnie, hurry! We're about to leave the atmosphere before this thing makes its U-Turn for Earth's mutation!" Tal screams in panic.

"Stop pressuring me, baby!" Donnie yelled back as he typed on the missile's controls, "Resetting course for the heart of the sun!" He shouted as he put in the code and set the course which made the missile turned a little and headed even higher up.

"Now what do we do?!" Miwa shouted in panic as Olly looked to Leo and the down to Earth, forming in an idea.

"Jump!" Olly shouted as he let go of the rope.

"Did he just say jump?!" Ames yelled.

Leo turned to them, "He's our leader! We have to trust him, come on!" He called as he jumped off.

"Oh, I know I'm gonna regret this!" Raph exclaimed as he jumped off as the others followed.

The eleven all screamed as they fell down to earth while heating up in the atmosphere, their bandanas catching fire. Olly turned to Leo, "Leo! Your swords! Use your swords!" He called.

"What?! How is that suppose to save us?!" Leo called while drawing his sword.

"Just focus on what's most important, focus your chi and release the power inside you!" Olly ordered as they fell faster.

Leo looked at his family and saw them in danger while their shells, or in Miwa's case armor, were protecting them from the burn. They are still going too fast and will crash into the ground as soon as he ready his sword and close his eyes. "For my family." He whispered before he then focused his chi, as in a black abyss of his mind a blue light symbol of the Hamato clan appeared.

Leo's body then glowed with blue streaks running over it while his sword charged up with energy. He then opened his eyes which were pure white and he slash the air as a blue portal opened and they fell through it and landed safely on the Turtle blimp, bouncing off and sliding down the robes as the Kraang Missile exploded in the sun.

The Hamato siblings immediately caught their breath and turned to Leo in shock, "Leo, did you just do that?!" Miwa said in complete wonder.

Leo recovered as he looked at himself, seeing the blue streaks as his swords glowed before they faded as he returned to his normal appearance. "I-I think I did." He said, stunned. "I just… I thought about the Turtle Blimp, slash my sword and then, boom!"

"And it…was…TOTALLY AWESOME!" Raph cheered with a wide smile.

"Leo, you have superpowers, yo!" Mikey cheered with sparkles in his eyes. "Have you been holding out on us?"

"No, I just found out now. THis is my first time." Leo confessed while still looking at his swords.

"Leo, that was your special power." Olly spoke up with a proud smile. "You unlocked your Hamato Ninpō."

"Oh, bless you," Mikey commented.

"No, Mikey. The Hamato Ninpō is an ancient mystic ability that only a member of the Hamato Clan can achieve and harness." Olly started with a smile. "It was founded generations ago by a group called the Ninja Tribunal but was lost to the ages; it said only when a Warrior is at his most desperate moment can he awaken this power."

Leo looked at his swords in wonder, "Whoa," He breathed out in awe.

Raph then realized something, "Wait, wait. You said only a member of the Hamato Clan can use these powers," He started before looking excited, "And since we're members of the Hamato Clan, does that mean…"

"Yes. Each one of us has the potential to awaken our own Hamato Ninpō," Olly confirmed.

"This is awesome!" Jenny exclaimed with a smile. "I can't wait for mine!"

"Same here!" Raph said as he and Jenny shared a high-five.

"You think we could have the same abilities as Leo?" Donnie asked.

"Well, not exactly," Olly said while rubbing his chin. "Each warrior's Hamato Ninpō has different Powers based on your skills. Leo's seemed to be teleporting and getting his family to safety."

"Wait, teleporting?" Leo asked in interest. "Just like in Space Heroes!" He cheered in excitement. "How do I teleport?!"

"Oh yeah, swing with a single sword and you teleport from one place to where you're thinking of but when having two swords, throwing one will teleport you to where it tossed to," Olly explained with a smirk. "Give it a try."

Leo looked at his two swords as he focused his powers again as his blue streaks appeared again, and then he threw one of his swords, which landed on a roof as it glowed before Leo suddenly glowed and disappeared. "Leo?!" Vee asked in surprise.

"It worked!" Leo called out as they all looked down and saw him waving from the roof.

"I knew he would try that." Olly said with a smirk as the others looked on in excitement.

On the ground, the Mutanimals saw the missile was destroyed. "The Turtles got the missile! Yeah! This calls for a loaf!" Pigeon Pete said as he took out a loaf and munched on it. Not seeing Irma's robotic head coming to life and went up behind Pette, which Slash noticed.

"Look out!" Slash called as Pete got shot as Slash quickly shielded him with his shell as he went up to the head and smashed it repeatedly before heading to Pete. "You okay?"

"I'm good," Pete said with a thumbs up as Leo saw this as he smiled at them.

"No!" Subprime yelled at seeing the missile had failed.

"Booyakasha!" Mikey called as he fired dumpster balls at him and the remaining Kraang troops.

"Kraang! Retreat! Right now! Retreat!" Subprime yelled as he retracted his mech as he and the Kraang took off into the sky as Irma's robotic head frizzed out as it rushed off as the Mutanimals all cheered at their victory as the Turtle Blimp came down and Leo appeared beside them.

"Leatherhead!" Ames called as she and Mikey shared a hug with him.

"My friends." Leatherhead said.

I was so scared we'd never see you again!" Mikey said in relief.

"Nice job Pete, high five.. Ah! Too slow!" Raph mocked as he swiped his hand away.

"He gotcha, Pete." Jenny said with laughter. Pete looked annoyed at his trick while Donnie and Tal were with Rockwell.

"You know.. i think there's room for three mutant geniuses in this city.." Donnie said, rubbing his head.

"I concur, of course warm blooded mammals are considered far more intelligent than inferior cold blooded reptiles, burn." Rockwell teased, chuckling at his joke.

"Oh, haha. Funny, Doc." Tal said with a chuckle.

Vee and Naomi then went up to Ray. "You did good, Ray. You're an even better fighter on land like in the water." Vee said.

"Aye, that's what I was born for. A fighter and protecting life, whether it's on land or sea." Ray said with a proud smile.

"Wise words spoken from the heart." Naomi said.

Olly and Leo went up to Slash. "Slash, that was a great leadership and teamwork on the ground battle you did there." Olly said with a smile. "You've stepped up and saved your teammates when they needed you the most."

"Hey, just doing my best for my friends." Slash said with a smile.

"I gotta admit, I was wrong about you. What you did before, it's all in the past." Leo said, turning to Slash.

"Told you I changed, Leonardo. I'm a different kind of turtle now." Slash said as they shook hands finally respecting each other while Olly smiled proudly at them.

Olly then gave a serious expression. "Okay, team. Part one of the mission is complete, now it's onto part two." He declared as Leo and Slash realized what he meant as they gave the same expression.

"He's right, fellas. Part two is us storming TCRI." Slash started seriously.

"We go to Dimension X…" Leo continued with his hands on his hips.

"And save the citizens of New York!" Olly declared as he drew his axe. "Let's Rock & Roll!" He called as they all charged together to their second half of their mission.

A few hours later, the Turtle Blimp flew over to TCRI while Miwa jumped down below to Olly and Leo. "So, do we even have a plan here or we're just winging it for laughs?" Miwa asked her brothers and friends.

"It's all in the Mighty Mutanimals." Donnie spoke up while at the controls. "First they broke into TCRI, then Dr. Rockwell activates the portal…" He started as Ames and Mikey looked below while upside down.

"And then it's back to Dimension X." Ames finished with a smile.

"Yeah, boi! Ames and I get to be smart again!" Mikey said in excitement.

"I get the first part, it makes sense." Raph said with a sarcastic look. "It's the 'save millions of mutated New Yorkers' part I don't get."

"Yeah, because that's gonna be tricky." Jenny added in agreement.

"Which is why Donnie and Tal brought their Super Retro-Mutagen." Olly spoke up. "That might work in that plan, right guys?" He asked the two smart turtles.

"That's right." Tal said as she brought out the Super Retro-Mutagen inside the container. "We also learned that if someone is hit with this Super Retro-Mutagen they become permanently immune to mutagen,"

"So when we change all the humans back, Rockwell will hone in on us with the Kraang portal, and theoretically, teleport us back to Earth." Donnie said with a smile before he had a second thought. "Hopefully. Maybe." He said sheepishly.

The others gave Donnie a dull look. "Yep, we're doomed," Miwa said dully.

"It's an awesome plan, Miwa," Mikey said as he jumped below them. "Dimension X, here we come!" He cheered.

"I just hope the Mutanimals don't screw this up," Leo said in concern. "If they can't keep the portal open, we're in deep trouble."

"Don't worry, Leo. They do make a good team." Olly assured him. "They are heavy hitters that the Kraang couldn't keep down." He said before thinking for a moment as he scratched his head. "Well, some are. Pigeon Pete however, might need some extra bread after this."

"Thanks for the assuring words, Olly," Vee said with a brow.

"Oh, like you guys weren't thinking the same," Olly retorted with a look, as they all muttered in agreement. "But, I have faith that they'll get the portal open.

In the Kraang Portal chamber, the Kraang were walking around acting casual before there was a loud boom and the Mutanimals walked with Leatherhead roaring, "Aw Kraang," One Droid said, knowing what was coming.

"Mutanimals, ho!" Slash called as they all charged into battle and started fighting the Kraang down.

Leatherhead grabbed two droids by the head. "Crush, KRAANG!" He roared as he slammed the two droids with a third in the middle together. Slash whacked and fought more away while deflecting the shots with his shell before a brainwave knocked a Kraang away as Rockwell came up behind him.

"Doc! Get that portal up pronto!" Slash ordered as he tore through more bots to let Rockwell get to it.

"Hacking in now!" Rockwell said as he quickly typed on the console.

"Doc! Hurry it up!" Slash shouted as he blocked more gunfire with his shell and threw some bread to the bot who looked at it.

"Bread! Give me bread!" Pete shouted as he slammed down on the bot and took it down while Rockwell finished with the computer.

"The portal is up!" Rockwell shouted as the portal began to activate.

"Haha, well done mateys! We did it!" Ray exclaimed before slapping a Kraang away with his fin.

The portal shot a beam into the sky which lead into Dimension X. "Yes! They did it!" Mikey said in victory.

"Unbelievable!" Leo said, completely amazed.

Olly just smiled proudly, "Never had a doubt," He before turning to his team, "Alright, hoist the mizzenmast me hearties! This pirate ship be ready to raid Dimension X!" he declared before noticing the others looking at him oddly, dully or amused, "What?" He asked.

"Did you really just pull a Black Beard on us?" Raph questioned with a look.

"Hey, I'm an islander." Olly said with a shrug. "We are about to invade Dimension X and about to liberate New Yorkers. It's a pirate thing."

"You're right on that, Olly." Mikey said with a smile.

"Okay, team, ready oxygen converters!" Donnie called as they all placed their oxygen converters on as they flew towards the portal.

"Dimension X, prepare to be invaded!" Ames called.

"Booyakasha!" Mikey exclaimed as they entered the portal.

Subprime had recovered from the missile's attack and saw them heading to the portal.

"So those turtle freaks think they can go into my home turf? Forget about it!" Subprime shouted as he took off into the skies after them.

The Hamato siblings screamed as they traveled through the portal stream while Ames and Mikey laughed until they ended up in Dimension X, but for some reason, their bandannas were being lifted above them. "Okay. Welcome back to Dimension X." Leo said as they hung upside down.

"Still as strange as last time." Naomi commented before Donnie and Tal straightened the blimp rightside up.

"Phew, well, that's 23% better." Donnie said with a smile.

Miwa looked at the dimension in complete befuddlement and shock, "Yeah, pretty unbelievable, huh?" Vee asked the girl, recognizing her expression.

"When you told me how crazy it is, I did not expect this kind of crazy." Miwa said before seeing something else. "Is that a giant eyeball in the sky?"

"Don't let it get to you. Just try to ignore it." Jenny said to her.

"And besides, we got something that will make it a thousand times better." Ames said with a smirk as Mikey floated up beside her. "You ready, Mikey?"

"Booyakasha. You know it, Ames." Mikey said as they threw their smoke bombs down.

"Ames! Mikey!" Tal called as they all coughed from the smoke to reveal Ames and Mikey back in their Savage Dimension X gear.

"Savages Mikey and Ames of Dimension X returns!" Mikey declared as he and Ames did a pose.

"Your personal guides of Kraang Town have arrived Ladies and Gentleturtles!" Ames declared like a hostess, "Please defer all questions to us,"

"Again with the costumes?!" Raph questioned in irritation before Jenny placed a hand on him.

"Let's just go with it. Saves us the headaches and time." Jenny advised him with a bored expression as Raph groaned in annoyance.

"We'll deal with it later." Olly said as he turned to the two youngest turtles with a smile. "That's great, Savages Mikey and Ames. So, where did you two think the Kraang are keeping all those mutated humans?"

Mikey held up a finger, "Hold up," He said as he placed a thumb to his Kraang skull helmet. "I can sense them close by with my organic antenna." He said as he started to focus while making 'wowowowo' sounds while the others looked at him strangely while Mikey moved around the Turtle Blimp while moving silly.

"Okay, that is 100 times weirder than what I'm used to seeing." Miwa muttered with a brow.

"Welcome to the Hamato Clan, sis," Raph said with a sympathetic smile.

Mikey was then on top of the blimp before he pointed ahead. "That way!" He called as Ames came down to Donnie and Tal.

"You heard my man, sis and Donnie, full speed ahead!" Ames called with a smile.

"Heeya!" Both smart turtles called as they put the blimp at full speed to the direction Mikey pointed.

In TCRI, the Mutanimals are still fighting the Kraang. ""We gotta keep that portal open! For the sake of the city!" Slash shouted as he and the others were still fighting off the Kraang.

"It's impossible! They just keep coming! And we're getting low on sourdough!" Pete shouted as he tried flying away from the lasers.

"Don't give up, lassies!" Ray called as he kicked and punched Kraang away. "Keep the pressure going!"

But then, the Mutanimals situation went from bad to worst as Ms. Campbell walked in with two Bio-Droids and a squadron of robot replicas of Irma, "Bio-Droids, Irma bots," Campbell started, facing the mutants.

"We are in a staggering phenomenal amount of danger," Rockwell said with a terrified expression.

"Destroy the mutants." Ms. Campbell ordered as she slashed her energy whip as the Bio-Droids and Irma bots charged at the Mutanimals.

"Mutanimals! Don't let em near Rockwell!" Slash shouted as all of them proceeded to fight bots.

Ray and Leatherhead tore through more bots the best they could as Pete was being overwhelmed by the Irmabots, Slash was trying to save him until a Biodroid came in and smashed him to the wall. Rockwell lifted up some guns with his powers and fired at more of them, but the Irma bots all stacked into a pyramid and the assistant jumped off them and hit Rockwell with a plasma whip which knocked off his helmet.

"My psychic Amplifier!" Rockwell said with fear as a Biodroid climbed up and grabbed him.

In Dimension X, the Turtle Blimp sour through the Kraang homeworld as the Hamato Warriors looked around. "So, where are all the people?" Leo questioned as he looked through the telescope. "Feels like we've been searching forever."

"You think it would be easy to spot them," Miwa said while looking around. "I don't even see any Kraang around."

"You got any idea where we're going, Mikey? For real?" Raph asked, looking down from the top of the blimp.

"Of course I do dudes." Mikey assured them until they found a familiar alien worm charging at them. "Of course there are always surprises along the way," He said nervously as their eyes were white disks of fear and shock while slack-jawed.

"Is that the same worm that ate Tigerclaw a few months back?" Miwa asked in shock.

"Yep." Olly nodded as it slithered towards them.

"It's a Kraathatrogon! Everyone, man they're stations!" Donnie shouted as Raph got to a cannon and started firing at the Kraathatrogon, which bounced off the worm before it ate the last one and it went out through its baby face.

"You guys really need better weapons other than garbage!" Miwa exclaimed as the Kraathatrogon slithered towards the blimp.

"Look out!" Olly, called the Kraang Worm, flew through the blimp, creating a giant hole in it.

"Oh, this is gonna hurt," Vee muttered as the blimp started losing air as it then flew around as the Hamato Warriors screamed until they crashed onto an island as they crashed.

"Uh, I think I broke my brain." Mikey moaned.

"Heh, what brain?" Raph taunted while pulling out his sais, "I'm taking this freaky space worm down myself-" Raph was cut off when the Kraathragon flew past him, knocking him over the edge as he screamed.

"Raph!" Jenny yelled in panic before Raph suddenly fell behind her and landed on Olly, much to her surprise, "Oh right, forgot about that," She said, remembering the physics of Dimension X.

Miwa however was gobsmacked, "How…Wha…He was…and then he….He just…?!" She sputtered, pointing to where Raph was and where he landed while whipping her head back and forth trying to make heads or tails what happened.

"Different dimension, different rules." Leo simply explained to Miwa as they avoided another strike from the Kraang Worm.

"We got this, guys!" Ames called as she and Mikey climbed up a crystal tree as Ames broke a crystal and they saw some Squibbles beside them. "You're thinking what I'm thinking, Mikey?" She asked with a smirk.

"Always, babe." Mikey said with a smirk as he and Ames too the Squibbles as Mikey shot a line to the Kraathragon's front face while kicking it, disoriented it as Ames shot her line to the baby's rear end face as she climbed on it's back and shot a few crystals on the baby face, causing it to whine in pain before slithering off as Ames and Mikey landed on a crystal tree.

"Just to let you all know, during our time in Dimension X, Kraang Worm's weakspots are the butt baby faces." Ames explains.

"Got that?" Mikey asked with a smirk.

Donnie looked over the area and saw a large building. "Guys, look!" Donnie shouted which alerted them all.

"This just keeps getting worse and worse and worse." Leo said with dread as they saw the humans being forced to mine crystals.

"Let me guess: the humans that were mutated have been turned into slaves to mine energy crystals for the Kraang." Mikey suggested in a casual voice.

"Mikey… you never cease to amaze me." Olly said as all of them looked at him in shock, san Miwa.

"Wow, this place really does make you smart." Miwa said in surprise.

"Eh, I'm sweet like that dudes." Mikey said casually.

"So we figure out a way to turn the humans back." Raph suggested as Donnie finished the plan.

"And then the Mutanimals figure out a way to bring us home." Donnie finished.

"It doesn't seem possible..." Leo worried about all of this.

"Dudes, it's the mighty Mutanimals, the operative word being Mighty! They got it all under control." Mikey assured, knowing that their friends wouldn't let them down.

Unfortunately, at TCRI, the Mutanimals were struggling against the Kraang. Slash then saw Rockwell being restrained by the Bio-Droid while Ms. Campbell aimed her rocket arm at him, "Rockwell!" He yelled as he was pinned by the Bio-Droid he was fighting, "Leatherhead, Ray! Take that robot down!" He ordered to the Alligator and Manta Ray mutants.

"Aye-aye, captain! Come on, Leatherhead!" Ray shouted as they charged through the Irma bots, but Ray got caught as he struggled to push them off. "Argh, go Matey!" He called.

Leatherhead nodded as he roared and tried to climb up to save him, but more droids grabbed his legs and slammed him to the floor. Leatherhead saw a destroyed bot on the floor, picked it up, and roared once again as he used it as a blunt weapon on a Biodroid before another restrained him. "Let me go beast!" Leatherhead shouted right before he was lifted up and another Biodroid slammed on him like a wrestler.

Slash took down his Bio-Droid and saw his team was restrained. "No! My team!" Slash said with dread before turning to Ms. Campbell.

"Give up, mutant! Or your friends will perish." Ms. Campbell threatened to shoot Rockwell.

"Slash! You can't let them shut down the portal! The Turtles will be trapped in Dimension X!" Rockwell shouted with fear, Slash was surrounded by even more droids and he had no choice, he dropped his mace signaling his surrender as Ms. Campbell turned off the portal.

"My friends…!" Slash shouted with horror as the porta beamed disappeared outside. "NO!"

Back in Dimension X, Olly was looking through a telescope, observing the hybrid tolling away, "So how does it look Olly?" Leo asked their leader.

"It looks like the Human Hybrids are scattered on those three islands," Olly explained while pulling the Telescope away, "So we'll have to de-mutate all three island before returning them to New York,"

"But those islands are huge, man!" Raph stated.

"He's right. There's millions of Human Hybrids there!" Jenny exclaimed. "How are we gonna turn all those mutants back into people?!"

"You two forget. We need to find a massive amount of mutagen and convert it into Retro-Mutagen with this." Tal said as she took out the Super Retro-Mutagen.

"Oh is that all? A massive amount of Mutagen! Let me just milk a few thousand Kraang worms." Raph said sarcastically.

"I hate to say it, but Raph's got a point." Vee said with a frown. "Even if we find a giant Kraathatrogon, it will take too long or we'll be worm chow."

"What we need is to find another method." Naomi said while rubbing her chin. "A place where the Kraang has a massive amount already in use."

Ames looked up and smiled, "Hey, you think there's a ton of mutagen in that?" She asked, pointing up to a spherical shaped vessel with cannon all over it.

"A technodrome?!" Leo asked in shock. "Ames…"

"I'm a genius?" Ames asked with a knowing smirk.

"I was gonna say you're crazy, a Technodrome?!" Leo questioned in disbelief.

Olly thought for a moment, "Actually she might be on the right track," He said in thought, "The Technodrome was originally created to terraform the Earth right?" He asked the brothers.

"Yeah. Nearly did in their first invasion if it weren't for us." Raph said with his arms crossed.

"They wouldn't happen to have it stacked up with a massive amount of mutagen in order to terraform, would they?" Olly asked with a smirk.

It took them a moment for the four New Yorker turtles and Miwa to think for a moment before their eyes widened as a ton of bricks comically fell on them. "He's right. How did we not realize that?" Miwa asked while rubbing her head.

"How ironic we turn the Kraang own weapon against them to undo their work," Naomi said with a smirk.

Raph however looked doubtful, "Okay, but how would we even get to it? The blimp's a wreak." He reminded the team.

Leo just gave a smirk, "Luckily for us, I have the solution," He said pulling out his swords, "I'll just portal us to the Technodrome,"

"Of course. You're Hamato Ninpō." Vee said with a smirk. "Okay, Heroboy. Open a portal."

"Can do." Leo said as he then brought out his two swords as he focused his chi as his body formed its blue streaks and his swords glowed as he swiped them, trying to open a portal, but nothing happened. "Huh?" He asked in confusion before he noticed his swords were sparking before a portal opened up from below him. "Whoawhoawhoawhoawhoa!" He called as he fell through it as another portal appeared above the first one as Leo fell through the second one back into the first one and continued in an endless loop. "A… Little… Help… Here!" He called as he screamed in the loop.

The others all looked at him stuck in the loop for a moment as they all laughed. "Okay! Now that's embarrassing!" Raph called as he laughed hard.

Vee got concerned as she walked up to the loop and timed Leo's next appearance as she quickly grabbed him by the arm just as he was about to fall through the first portal and pulled him out as the portals closed. "You okay, Leo?" She asked in concern.

Leo laid on the ground with crossed eyes, "Just a…knock on the old…monkey bus," He moaned.

"Leo?" Vee asked in confusion as the Blue-clad turtle shot to his feet.

"No need to tartic. I'm as flopsy faced as ever!" Leo said with swirly eyes and dopey smile as he wobbled around.

"I think you need a moment to catch your bearings, babe." Vee said with concern as Leo drew his swords.

"Flibbertigibbet, babe. I'm as flopsy as the next New York Pizza." Leo babbled before he bumped into a tree and fell to the floor as Vee placed a comforting hand on him. "Maybe I doobie-doobie do." He said while sitting up.

Raph was roaring with laughter as he fell on his shell holding his sides, while Mikey and Donnie were in the same position, holding each other and Miwa was holding her stomach while laughing too while the other girls giggled with hands to their mouths while Olly shook his head in amusement.

"Hahahah! Oh man! I've seen Leo when he gets dizzy, but this takes the cake!" Raph exclaimed while kicking the air.

"Oh, I wish I could watch that in instant replay." Donnie said with an amusing smile.

"It's comedy gold there, ya'll!" Mikey cried out.

"Oh, just when I know everything about Leo, this is too funny to forget now!" Miwa laughed hard while feeling her stomach ready to burst.

Leo got his bearings as he stood up and shook his head before he glared at the others. "Oh, yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, guys! Laugh your shells off!" He exclaimed before looking at his swords. "I don't get it. Why couldn't my powers open a portal to the Technodrome? I managed to get it right the first time."

"Uh, Leo, I have two theories, one, you have yet to master your powers, or two, Dimension X is having a weird effect on them." Olly said with a small chuckle. "Because the laws of physics in this dimension are already crazy enough."

"I would go with the second one." Leo said dully before he looked at the Technodrome. "Now how do we get there?"

"We could borrow one of those Stealth Ships parked over there." Donnie said as he pointed to a nearby Kraang base with Stealth Ships parked around. "Just saying."

"How did we miss that?" Tal questioned with a surprise look.

"This is so crazy, I'm starting to like this plan." Raph said with a smile as Ames and Mikey jumped forward.

"Okay, stay frosty. And keep quiet. And all those other Leoisums and Ollyisums Olly and Leo like to say." Mikey said as the two leaders groaned from that.

They all jumped to the edge, but then they floated up as they yelled before they suddenly appeared below the base as they landed on the platform as they landed on their feet and went up to the crystal trees until they saw a Stealth Ship close by. "Okay, team, when I give the signal-" Olly started.

"It'll be this, 'Caw-Caw! Caw-Caw!'" Mikey interrupted, "And they we sneak inside the shuttle!" He finished before a Subprime flew over to them.

"That sounds like a great idea!" Subprime called as his robot head gave a smirk before he landed down on the platform.

"Subprime?!" Naomi exclaimed with a look.

"Not this guy again." Donnie said boredly.

"That's right you freaks!" Subprime said as his body unfolded, "Kraang Subprime returns! You like that don't ya? You like this!" He said as he started flexing his tentacles, "Yeah you like that!" He bragged.

Miwa raised a brow, "Is this guy for real?" She asked them.

"Trust me, as the only Kraang who can actually talk properly, he loves to run his mouth," Tal said dully.

Subprime then looked at Miwa, "Well, well, well, lookie at what we have here, Shredder's precious baby girl," He mocked with a smirk.

Miwa growled as she prepared her tanto blade. "Okay, this guy's chewing gum on a wall." She said.

"Now, come quietly or I'd vaporize ya." Subprime threatened with a smirk before he saw Ames and Mikey throwing Kraang Crystals at him as he dodged each one. "Ha! You missed." He taunted.

"Wasn't aiming at ya." Ames said with her arms crossed as she pointed down to the ground, Subprime looked down as he saw the crystals around him before Ames and Mikey gave high-pitched screams, which reacted to the crystals as they exploded and sent Subprime flying with a yell as he fell from the platform.

"You did it, guys!" Raph cheered.

"That's cause we're s-s-s-sweet!" Mikey cheered as they all rushed to the Stealth Ship and entered the cockpit as Donnie walked up to the controls and powered it up. "Get this baby moving, Donnie!"

"I'm starting it! I'm starting it!" Donnie called as he typed into the controls.

"So you really know how to fly this thing, Donnie?" Tal asked.

"Um, sort of; I kinda did before," Donnie said confidently before it melted away. "Not exactly."

"Just get this thing in the air already!" Jenny called as Donnie managed to get the ship up an inch and hit the side of the base.

"Forward would be nice." Raph sarcastically said as they stood up from the crash.

"Let me handle this, D." Mikey said as he moved Donnie aside and quickly typed into the controls as the ship took off higher and shot off to the direction of the Technodrome.

Subprime groaned in pain as he finally woke up again and called his soldiers. "Kraang Subprime to base!" He called.

---

"Turtles have hijacked a stealth ship!" Subprime shouted as droids were listening from a communication room.

"What are the orders that Kraang Subprime wishes to order as an order to…" A droid asked which annoyed him.

"Oy. just shut up already," Subprime said in annoyance. "Do me a favor and unleash the Dracodroid!" Subprime ordered, some hatches opened, and a giant two-headed robot dragon stomps into the room; two Kraang droids took control of it and started taking after the turtles at fast speeds.

---

Back with the Hamato siblings, Jenny decided to ask the million-dollar question, "So what's gonna happen when we reach the Technodrome? Anyone think of that?" She asked.

"Uh, we have not thought that far ahead," Olly said sheepishly. "Uh, how about, sneak in, fight as many Kraang, find the control room and turn mutagen into retro-mutagen and save the day." He suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Raph said with a shrug before Leo saw something up ahead.

"Uh, guys. I think we have bigger badder problems. Look!" Leo called as they all saw the Dracodroid flying towards them.

"Ames? Mikey?" Vee asked.

"We've never seen that thing before," Ames said in fright as the Dracodroid fired at them.

"Brace yourselves!" Mikey called as they dodged the Dracodroid as the flew around the floating islands before coming up to some beams of steel, "Strap your shells on tight, sibs!" He warned as they zoomed through the beams. The Dracodroid fired at them and stopped at the beams, "Booyakasha!" Mikey declared as they closed in on the Technodrome but the Dracodroid kept chasing them.

"Left, go left!" Vee called as they dodged one laser.

"No go right! Right!" Leo rebutted before the ship was hit, but they lost control and headed straight to the Technodrome.

"OH SHELL!" They all screamed before they crashed through the station's hull and into the Technodrome.

---

Back in TCRI, the Mutanimals were thrown into a prison pod as Slash banged against the Glass, "Let us out! Let us out, right now!" Slash demanded. "I swear, once I break these walls down, I'm gonna-" He tried to say before Leatherhead placed a hand on his shoulder to stop him.

"It is useless, my friend." Leatherhead said as Slash sat down in defeat.

"It's my fault we got captured! Maybe Leonardo was right… maybe… I'm not fit to lead this team.." Slash said ashamed of himself.

Leatherhead then sat in front of him, "I have seen that you have protected the people of New York from the Kraang, helped your fellow mutants. You are a true leader, Slash," He said encouragingly.

Slash gave a small nod. "Thank you, brother. But if we can't saved the turtles, then all the people and New York are doomed. We've failed." He said hopelessly.

Pete then perked up, looking ready for a panic attack, "I-I'm losing it guys! The walls, too cramped! I have to go to the bathroom!" He ranted before Ray slapped him in the beak.

"Keep it together, Matey! We ain't sunk yet!" Ray said in determination, "We're gonna break out of this brig and free those humans!" He declared.

"In fact, I believe our saving grace is on its way up," Rockwell said as they turned and saw him in a meditative stance, "All we must do now is wait," He said.

---

In the Technodrome, the Kraang are inspecting the Stealth Ship's crashed site as they all aimed their blasters at it before the hatched opened up, and Miwa, in her mutant serpent form, leaped out and dispatched the droids with her snake hands, tail, and fangs.

Once the area was clear, the turtles came out, and Miwa shifted back, "Smooth, Miwa," Jenny commented with a smirk.

"Thanks, I'm starting to like being part snake," Miwa said with a smile as they charged through the door as Raph stabbed at the controls to keep the Kraang from advancing towards them.

"We made it! Wow, that was easy." Raph commented with a smile.

"Um, Raph?" Mikey asked slowly as they all turned to see the control room with mutagen flowing in the center with blades spinning around with numbers of Kraang all around as they turned and aimed at the Hamato Warriors.

"Ah, Kraang." Raph groaned.

Leo turned to Olly, "Alright Leader, call the play," He said with a determined smile.

"We attack!" Olly called with a smile as they all charged at the Kraang before they started firing at them.

"Olly, Ames and I are leaders in Dimension X!" Mikey called he wrapped a chain around the huge tank of mutagen and knocked a droid away.

Miwa hissed and tore apart some more bots with her snake arms and slashed at them around. "Well, can either of you think of a way to take out all these Kraang droids?" She questioned as more Kraang came in as they fought them while on the blades, slashing at them while avoiding blaster shots.

Mikey and Ames each jumped on two floating pods and held out two guns. "Oh yeah! Check us out!" Mikey said with joy.

"Savages Mikey and Ames in the house!" Ames called as they floated all around the center and shot down all the flying droids until the room was empty.

"Michelengelo, Amoly, that was spectacular!" Naomi called out with a smile while the others looked at the two in awed.

"Dimension X plus years of video games equals Amolengelo Awesomeness!" Mikey declared proudly.

Olly turned to Donnie and Tal, "Okay guys, status report," He told the two.

"Good news, we have access to the mutagen supply through this fuel tube. Not only do they use it to terraform, but they also use it to power the ship. We have a massive supply!" Donnie said, amazed at the mutagen at their disposal. Mikey and Ames randomly pressed all over the button controls and somehow activated the ship.

"Wow. Mikey and Ames really are different in this dimension." Miwa commented as The Technodrome's screen showed them moving outside.

"Yes! She's moving!" Mikey called as he took the controls.

"Now, let's go save New York!" Ames declared determinedly.

---

Back in TCRI, the Mutanimals were still waiting for this saving grace Rockwell mentioned, "Rockwell, are you sure help is coming?" Slash asked impatiently.

"Should be here right, about…" Rockwell trailed off right before there was an explosion at the door and the Kraang turned to it.

Then a jade cane flew through the air, piercing a Kraang's head appearing from the smoke was Splinter, "We heard you needed some assistance," Splinter said as behind him were Orimura, Dariyasa, the human teens, and the Shell Tribe Warriors.

"Aw yeah! The cavalry has arrived!" Casey said, bouncing a puck in his hand while Orimura drew a sword.

"Attack!" The Grand Master ordered as the Tribe charged into battle against the surprised Kraang while Orimura grabbed a Kraang head and used it to free the Mutanimals, "Apologies we took so long," He said to them.

"You're right on time," Rockwell said with a smile.

"You send them a telepathic message, huh, doc?" Slash asked with a smirk.

"It was difficult without my amplifier, but I managed to focus enough to send a distress message." Rockwell explained with a proud smile.

"FREEDOM!" Leatherhead yelled as the Mutanimals joined in the fray as the fight continued while the Kraang tried to blast at them.

"We need to reactivate that portal!" Rockwell called out.

"We can help with that!" April called as she sliced a Kraang with her fan, as did her sister while Keno used his batons and whacked some Kraang away.

"I hope the others are having better luck in Dimension X!" Keno called before he whacked another Kraang away.

Back on the Technodrome, the Hamato Siblings were in range of the slave islands, "There, we have a visual on the hybrids," Vee said before turning to the smart turtles, "Are we ready for demutation?" She asked.

"Give us a few seconds," Donnie said as he typed on the controls, "We just need to add the Super Retro Mutagen. Okay, Tal your up," He told his girlfriend.

"On it like pepperoni on pizza," Tal said as she injected the vile into the full valve and poured the Retro-Mutagen into the Technodrome's fuel but then the ship suddenly started shutting down, "Oh no, we made a major oversight," She said in worry.

"What do you mean?" Olly asked in concern.

"Like Donnie said before, the Technodrome runs on Mutagen!" Tal called as she kept typing on the controls, but then steam came out. "Whoa!"

"The engines just can't take Retro-Mutagen, captain!" Donnie exclaimed in worry while Ames and Mikey fiddled with the controls.

"Don't worry, guys. We got this." Ames said to them.

"Ames and I just need to alter the ships fuel converters, tweak the quantum defiblitrons, and.." Mikey said as Ames pressed on the console and the ship powered on, now having an orange glow around the area.

"We are up and running," Ams announced as the ship became orange instead of pink.

"Ames, Mikey, you two are…" Miwa tried to say.

"Geniuses. We know." Mikey said with a smile.

"I was gonna say, wasting time!" Miwa yelled with a hiss of her snake face while Ames and Mikey flinched. "Get this tank moving! We have to save the humans now!" She called before they all heard something cutting. They turned to the entrance and saw an energy saw cutting the door while peeking through the hole, which was Subprime.

"Here's Kraangy!" Subprime taunted with a sadistic smirk as he continued cutting.

Olly then turned to Donnie, "Okay, Donnie, we need that portal open! Call up the Mutanimals!" He ordered.

"Got it! Come in Dr. Rockwell!" Donnie spoke to his T-Phone but got no answer, "Hello? Doc, you there? Anybody?!" He said in panic.

"Uh oh, the Kraang must've shut off the Portal," Tal feared.

"Great, if they can't reopen that portal, we have to cancel the entire rescue mission," Raph said.

"And us going home." Leo said grimly.

Back in the portal chamber, the heroes are still fighting the Kraang. "Just do it already!" Slash exclaimed.

"Get that portal online now!" Dariyasa called as she cut down a few Kraang as Pete lifted Rockwell to the portal controls as he started typing it in.

"Now, if we can transform the portal into a 3 dimensional coordinate locked beam-" Rockwell told himself before he heard a loud thud and saw the assistant standing over him. Slash wasn't having this now and threw his mace right at her and took her to the ground as Rockwell pressed the button. "Yes! The portal is a go!" He cheered as the portal reopened in the sky.

"We did it!" Slash cheered as he, the Mutanimals, the rest of the Hamato Warriors and the Shell Tribe stood together after taking down the Kraang.

Rockwell turned to April, "Ms. O'Neil, contact the turtle and inform them we are ready for extraction." He instructed as April nodded and pulled out her T-Phone.

Back in Dimension X, Donnie's T-Phone then got a video call from April, "Donnie, we're back online! Dr. Rockwell says he'll have the portal ready in 30 seconds," April informed.

"Great, April!" Donnie said with a smile. "Sending coordinates now!" He added as he started typing on the consoles. "Adjusting for fifth dimensional space…" He said as he locked onto the people.

"There they are.. the hybrids!" Mikey said as they were on the console.

"Oh my look at them! They're forced to work like slaves." Ames said as Olly slammed his hand down.

"Well, not for long they won't." Olly said while turning to Raph. "You ready with that Retro-Mutagen, Raph?" He asked as Raph grabbed two controllers.

"Locked and loaded." Raph nodded.

"Fire!" Leo, Olly, Ames, and Mikey yelled as Raph fired the Retro-Mutagen onto the hybrids, which shone an orange light on them as they slowly de-mutated back to their normal forms.

"Nice aim, Raph." Jenny said with a smirk to her boyfriend.

"We're not out of this mess yet." Raph replied as Subprime was sawing through the door still.

"I'm just getting started, Turtles! I'm coming for your sweet shells!" Subprime said menacingly.

"Donnie, Tal, they humans can't breathe in Dimension X now that they're normal!" Olly called out while seeing the humans are suffocating.

"We need them teleported out now!" Leo added.

"We're on it!" Tal said as she and Donnie typed onto the controls and the humans they de-mutated teleported away. "We did it!"

"We've turned the multi-dimensional transmat device into one mast displacement teleporter!" Donnie cheered in excitement as he and Tal shared an exciting hug.

"I have no idea what you two just said." Raph said.

"Same." Jenny added in agreement. "But, hooray?"

"That is how we're returning home. Teleportation." Naomi said with a smile.

"Just like Space Heroes!" Leo geeked out in excitement while Vee giggled at her boyfriend's excitement.

"No way! Forget it! You're not beaming my particles!" Raph denied with his arms crossed.

"Sounds too extreme!" Jenny added before they heard an explosion as they turned and saw Subprime coming in.

"Surprise!" Subprime exclaimed tauntingly. "Forget about me, turtles?" He mocked as Kraang Droids came in while Leo and Olly drew their weapons and charged into battle.

"Okay, let's start beaming particles, guys!" Both Raph and Jenny quickly said as they started pressing on the console.

Olly and Leo kept fighting the Kraang Droids back and away from the others. "Eliminate the ones called the Turtles!" One of the droids said as Leo sliced it in half as more came in while the two leaders fought them off.

"You two got to hold them off!" Ames called out.

"Ames and I have to pilot this thing!" Mikey finished.

"What, do you think we're playing Video games right now?!" Olly questioned sarcastically, "How are we supposed to do that?!"

"Yeah, that's a really good question, Greeny," Subprime said as he aimed his blaster at them, which they quickly avoided.

Leo stood up with a growl before he looked at Subprime's blaster and the blades around them as he had an idea and charged at Subprime, slicing the two Kraang away and blocking his arm while Subprime ready another shot as he chuckled, but Leo pushed his arm up and the blast hits a blade, causing it to block the entrance to keep more Kraang from pulling in.

"Nice one, Leo! You stopped the advance!" Olly called out.

"Not out of the woods yet," Leo reminded as Subprime swung his buzzsaws at them.

"Got one the last Island, do we have enough Retro-Mutagen?" Ames asked Donnie.

"Down to 10%!" The Purple-Clad Turtle answered.

"Just enough, fire!" Miwa ordered as the last of the humans were de-mutated and teleported away, "There, that's all the humans!" She said with a smile.

"Sending the last sets of coordinates. Ours!" Tal called as she looked at April in her T-Phone. "April, get Rockwell to get us out of here! The mission is complete!" She called.

"Right!" April nodded as Olly and Leo were whacked down by Subprime.

"Leo!/Oliver!" Vee and Naomi called as they grabbed their respective boyfriends and lifted them out.

"You're finished, Turtle scum. Finished!" Subprime exclaimed as he laughed and drew his blades down at them, but the Hamato Warriors teleported away before he could hit them. "No! I was so close this time! So close!" He screamed with rage as the alarm went off and he saw the ship was heading to an asteroid.

Subprime just frowned in acceptance, knowing what was coming, "Aw.. Kraang.." he muttered to himself before the ship crashed into the Asteroid and exploded leaving nothing left as there were some sparkles and Irma's robotic head floating around.

All of the humans were teleported back to New York, trying to get their bearings just as the Kraang droids themselves were teleported back to Dimension X for good. The power finally began to turn back on all over the city.

The Hamato Siblings then landed on a Rooftop and as they got up, they looked down to see the people of New York cheering and dancing in the streets.

"We did it." Leo said with a wide smile. "Somehow, we did it!"

"The Kraang are finally gone for good!" Olly declared with a triumphant fist up.

"We saved the world!" Ames cheered.

"We're the best!" Mikey called as he started doing his victory dance. "Go, ninja! Go, ninja, go!" He called.

At TCRI, the Hamato humans walked out of the building as they looked around and saw the people of New York in the streets and no Kraang in sight, "They did it," Zach said with a smile.

"No, we did it," Keno corrected with a smile.

Casey then gave a rapper pose, "Aw yeah, son! Suck on that Brainfaces!" He declared.

"I take it that our family and friends are also back?" Catilyn said with a smile. "Zach and I have to find them."

"Yeah, I need to find my parents, too," Keno agreed.

"And I better go find my dad and little sister," Casey added.

"And that just leaves us and…" Robyn started but her sister spoke up.

"Dad?" April asked slowly as Robyn turned to her and they saw their father behind them looking confused, which made the two smile widely.

"Daddy!" Robyn called as she and April rushed up to their father, which Kirby turned and saw his daughters as they shared a long awaited hug while their friends smiled at the three finally reunited before splitting up to have the same thing.

The Hamato Siblings then looked out to the city, proudly, "Well, it's gonna take some cleaning up but, I think things will return to normal in New York," Donnie said with a smile.

"Well, as normal as this town could get that is." Tal added with a small amused shrug.

Raph then gave a concerned frown, "Yeah but, what about the Mighty Mutanimals?" He wondered.

"What about us, me hearties?" The turtles turned to see the Mutanimals and their parents behind them with proud smiles.

"Leatherhead! My big green buddy!" Mikey cheered as he hugged Leatherhead, which he returned the gesture.

"We made it my friend." Leatherhead said with a smile.

"Ray, you did good." Vee said with a smile.

"Aye matties. We brought home the gold." Ray said with a smile.

"Looks like our plan worked, doctor." Donnie said as he and Tal came up to Rockwell.

"Yes, and teleporting the Kraang back to Dimension X was a stroke of genius." Rockwell replied.

"And with their portal shut down, they won't be bothering us for a long time," Tal said with a smile.

Splinter, Orimura and Dariyasa approached Leo, Raph, Olly, Miwa, and Slash, "My children, words can never express how truly proud of you I am," Splinter said with a smile.

"It was tough, Father, but we stayed united, and we saved New York," Miwa said before turning to Leo. "Together."

"Yeah. Together." Leo said with a smile. "And trust us, when we say rough, we literally mean it." He added. "But, we pulled through in the end."

"Spoken like a true Warrior," Dariyasa said with a motherly smile.

"And Slash, I'm sorry for doubting you. Everyone deserves a second chance." Leo said, holding his hand out.

"I just modeled myself after the best leader I knew. You." Slash said proudly as he accepted Leo's hand.

"One I'm sure you will be," Olly said, holding Leo's shoulder.

"As long as I got the right mentor," Leo said as the two smiled.

Orimura then stepped forward, "You have won a great victory today, my friends, we may have seen the last of the Kraang for now," He said before giving a serious look, "But this war is far from over,"

"Yeah, there's still one last problem we have to take care of," Olly agreed with a serious look too.

"Shredder," Leo and Raph answered with scowls.

Splinter hummed and nodded, "The Foot may be stronger than ever before, but with the Kraang gone, it will take some time for Saki to reorganize his army." He said before smiling, "For now, I suggest we enjoy this moment we have been given."

"I suppose you're right, Yoshi. After all, I believe we still have an initiation to perform," Orimura said, looking to the four New York brothers and his daughters as they realized what he meant.

Later that night, In the Shell Tribe Village, the Shell Tribe and the Turtle's friends and Allies had gathered as Leo, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Vee, Jenny, Tal and Ames kneeled before Splinter, Orimura and Dariyasa, while Olly, Naomi, Hopu, Harumi and Ryuga stood behind them.

The Eight turtles looked to the elder teens who nodded in encouragement while looking to their human friends, who were sitting at the front, and they gave smiles to them.

"Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Venus De Milo, Jennika, Talena, Amoly," Splinter spoke as the eight straightened up as he spoke in Japanese and they bowed to him.

Dariyasa then brought out eight green jade turtle shell amulets with the three-toed sign of the dragon etched in them, "These amulets, formed from the living jade of the island hold the Turtle and the Dragons' greatest strengths," She said as she handed an amulet to each turtle, "Protection, Strength, Wisdom, Courage, Compassion, Patience, Ferocity and Honor. A turtle relies on more than its shell for protection but its intelligence and strength of body and spirit as well," She continued as the Teens admired their amulets before attaching them to their persons.

"Arigato Gozaimasu." The eight turtles said, bowing their heads as Orimura stood up with his sword drawn.

"From this point on, You, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Venus De Milo, Jennika, Talena, Amoly are true Ninja and Heroes to not only to New York, but to the entire Earth." Orimura said, tapping each of their shoulders with a proud smile as he then turned to the crowd. "To the Hamato!" He called.

"Hamato! Hamato! Hamato! Hamato!" The Shell Tribe chanted as the eight turtles watched the crowd cheer for them.

"Huh, now this is the first." Leo said with a smile. "Usually when we do a good deed, we just remain in the shadows."

"Eh, I can get used to this." Raph said with a smile with his arms crossed.

"Dudes, we are famous!" Mikey called in excitement.

"Only to those who know of our existence and the whole tribe, Mikey." Donnie reminded his younger brother.

"Dude, just let it sink in." Raph said as they all shared a laugh as Olly and Naomi stepped in front of them.

"You all have earned this. After all you've done, a little gratitude is the least of you deserve." Naomi said with a smile.

"You and Olly would have joined us, you know, Olly." Tal said to her brother.

"I am touched, but I think I would let you all take the spotlight since I'm the girlfriend of the chief's son." Naomi said with a small smile.

"And I'm already as famous as being the chief's heir. I don't need any more fame then it has to be." Olly said with a grin, "Besides, when I'm with you, I'm already king of the world," He said as they all laughed.

"It's been quite a ride, guys," Vee said.

"And it's only getting started," Jenny added eagerly.

"More adventures right around the corner," Tal stated with hands on her hips.

"And we'll be ready for it," Ames finished with a fist up.

Splinter, Orimura and Dariyasa then walked up to them, "Yes, but that is for tomorrow's battle," Dariyasa reminded.

"Tonight, we must enjoy what we have earned today," Splinter said, gesturing to the gathering of friends.

"So now, Shell Tribe and gathered friends, tonight we celebrate!" Orimura declared with his hands up.

"Alright, everyone! All together now!" Mikey cheered with a finger to the sky.

"Booyakasha!" Everyone on the island cheered loudly together at their victory against the Kraang and freeing New York. While the Foot Clan still remains a threat, for now, they celebrate their greatest victory and would be ready for what the future has in store for them.

---

Well, it looks like the Kraang won't be a problem for a while, and even more interestingly, Leo is the first to unlock the Hamato Ninpō, the same power from the Rise series.

But on the downside, Leo's been demoted as Leader and Olly's taking the reigns. Don't worry, though, Leo's still got the right stuff to be a Leader, but like most Leos, he still has a lot to learn; we'll see him take charge again, eventually.
