In an alleyway, a man in a garbage truck parked up next to some dumpsters while next to an abandoned building at the top floor that is boarded up was a Kraang lab as Bebop and Rocksteady bust through the door. "Careful comrade Bebop, when Kraang have abandoned a lab, they may have left, the boobish traps," Rocksteady warned.
"That's booby trap G.." Bebop corrected before he saw a red laser aiming right at him, he looked above and saw a security drone and it fired at them both, Rocksteady blocked it with his tough back and threw a sickle at the system and destroyed it. "Man, we should be running the Foot, and instead are stuck on Newtralizer's grocery list." He said, annoyed while crossing his arms.
"Is not grocery list, is chemicals to make ultimate mind control serum for snake girls and turtle freaks," Rocksteady said to him while holding up a piece of paper. "Hmm.. Reagent X, 10 gallons of maple syrup, 500 packets of white sugar.. wait.. it is grocery list!" He realized before crushing the paper with an angry snarl, "Dah! You are right, we should be ones to give orders, not to take!" He griped and they both began to search the lab.
Outside, the man who used to work in the sewers came out of the truck and went to the dumpster. "It's a thankless job," He said to himself as he pulled on two trash bags. "I like keeping my city clean." He said as he managed to get the bags out of the dumpster but fell to the ground. "Beats working in the sewers though. Too many freaky mutants down there." He said before he heard a thump. "Huh?" he asked as he looked up.
Jumping above him were eleven shadowy figures, "Whoa. Speaking of them," the man said in surprise.
In the lab, Bebop opened a hatch where more mutagen and another chemical could be seen. "Boom, Reagent X, Steranko!" He said excitedly before noticing the mutagen, "Ooh snap! Mutagen son!" He added before grabbing them as Rocksteady heard something.
"Quiet, something is in the alley," Rocksteady warned as he looked down and saw the man doing his job. "Aw.. it is only garbage boy.." He said right before Leo came crashing in and kicked him in the face; Miwa jumped in too and coiled around the Rhino before she threw him to Bebop as the other turtles jumped after them.
"What the what?! How'd you find us?!" Bebop asked in shock before he got up and started doing dance moves and fired lasers at them from his chest belt.
"By staking out on Shredder's lair for 15 hours straight without so much as taking a bathroom break!" Donnie shouted as Ames whipped Bebop in the face.
"That and you're driving a van with a Bebop and Rocksteady sign on it." Mikey added.
"Seriously, you guys should change the paint job," Ames told them.
Olly blocked Rocksteady's hammer and hook, "We know that Shredder's working on a mind-control serum, and we're never going to let you finish it!" He told the Rhino.
"Da? Well, I just squishes you firsts, then!" Rocksteady stated as he swung his weapons at the Green-clad turtle.
The garbage man looked up and saw laser fire coming from the building. "What in the?" He asked in wonder as he climbed up the fire escape to investigate.
Mikey made a battle cry and hit Bebop in the face, which made him mad. "Eat mutagen!" Bebop shouted as he threw the canister at him.
"Not the face!" Mikey shouted, putting his head in the shell and ducking, making the mutagen fly out of the window.
The man was going to check out what the trouble was right before he saw the mutagen fall right on him and he screamed in great pain and fell into the dumpster full of trash and he screamed even more as he started glowing.
In the lab, the group were still fighting Bebop and Rocksteady while Mikey was about to make another battlecry, but Donnie was tossed into him as they crash into the ground. "We're getting our shells waxed." Donnie groaned.
"What brings you freaks here anyway? Newtralizer grocery list?" Raph mocked which made Rocksteady more furious.
"Is not grocery list!" Rocksteady said with rage before Jenny quickly took the list from him and looked at it.
"Dude, aside from the chemical name on top, it's a grocery list." Jenny pointed out with a brow before Rocksteady roared and she avoided his hammer strike.
Rocksteady turned to Bebop, "Run! We can not return to Shredder with the empty hands!" Rocksteady told his partner.
"That's my cue to bounce!" Bebop said before turning invisible and knocked Leo and Miwa away, "I'm outty five thousand!" He said while jumping out the window.
Rocksteady gave a roar as he charged at the group with his horn. "Look out!" Tal called, but they were all tossed aside as Rocksteady ran out the door as they fell to the ground.
"Oh, Raph, Jenny, never mocked thousand-pound rhino man, okay?" Mikey moaned as the two tough turtles nodded in agreement. "Thanks."
Outside, the man groaned in pain as he had become a gross monster made of trash, he opened his eyes and saw the world through a green lens and could see Miwa and the others heading away. "Turtle people?" He said right before he gave a loud roar of rage as a truck passed.
Back on the island, the turtles were recovering from the battle, while Jenny was punching the Shredder dummy, "Gah! Can't believe we let those two dummies get away!" She exclaimed in frustration as she continued punching.
"Well, maybe, if you and Raph didn't mock Rocksteady, we could've stopped them," Vee told her sister with a look before Jenny brought her head to the Cyan-clad turtle.
"Aren't you supposed to have a mystic turtle-sense or something?!" Jenny questioned as the two growled at each other.
Miwa then came up to them and pushed them apart, "Bebop and Rocksteady's escape is a minor inconvenience compared to Newtralizer getting his mind control serum," She reminded them, "How do we stop something like that?"
"We'll just have to stay one step ahead of them," Olly told her. "Our best tactic for now is to stop them from getting any more chemicals, Donnie?" He asked, turning to the male smart turtle who walked over while looking at his T-Phone.
"According to the lab records, two things are missing: Mutagen.." Donnie explained.
"Which they threw at my head.." Mikey reminded in pain as he had an ice pack above him.
"Which they threw at Mikey's head, and Reagent X, an ingredient needed to make a mind control serum," Donnie said seriously.
"And we already know, Shredder has plenty of mutagen," Leo stated.
"So no need to get more," Vee added.
"So what's the game plan?" Raph asked, walking up to Donnie.
"Reagent X needs one more chemical solvent in order to work," Tal explained to them. "Kinda like a chemical combo."
"Let's just hope Bebop and Rocksteady haven't found all of the components yet," Olly said with a concerned look. "Because if they do, then we're in big trouble."
Back in New York at night, the mutated man weakly walked through another alley, he was super weak from the mutation and fell to the ground, he groaned as he saw himself through an old mirror, and looked at himself in horror at what he's become and made a loud scream of horror and anger. This caused a windstorm to circle him, picking up garbage bags as he kept screaming in horror before he finally calmed down and looked at himself.
"I'm... I'm out here trying to make an honest living, and those turtle people turn me into a freak!"
The man said with anger, he felt something move inside him and saw his own eyeball come out of him and somehow could talk.
"Aha! Look at what you did! You're not a freak; you've got superpowers!" The eyeball said, making him see what he did with all the trash around the area.
"Ah, what do you know? You're just an eyeball." The man said, looking down shamefully.
"I'm not just any eyeball, I'm your eyeball! You can call me Joe! Think of me as your higher self!" Joe said, dancing around on his shoulder.
"Higher self? I got enough people looking down on me, I don't need Joe eyeball looking down on me too!" He said annoyed at this.
"Ahh! Help! Help!" A man screamed from another alley which got his attention.
"You want respect? Go out an earn it! We are heroes!" Joe encouraged.
"Looking like this.. forget about it.." He said, looking down ashamed before they heard the man scream even more.
"Ahh! Help me!" The man screamed in fear as Muckman gave a worried look.
as he was cornered by three of the Purple dragons. "That's right, and your cell phone too," Fong said as the man saw the mutant come behind them.
The man then grabbed Fong, lifted him over his head, and threw him against a wall.
"What the heck are you? A mutant?!" Sid was horrified to see him.
Joe then popped out of the man's head, "He's a hero!" He said, popping out of his head again.
"Don't get too excited, Joe." The man warned, pushing him back in before he grabbed both the members and slammed Cid into a trash can, striking him rapidly. The other tried hitting him with a bat, which resulted in the mutant slamming on his foot and being punched down like a boxer.
"Yeah!" The man said in victory as the members were both down and were all put in a dumpster. "Dumping trash is a force of habit, heh heh heh!" The mutant laughed at his joke until he turned to a woman staring at him in shock as he gave a nervous smile and wave.
The woman then screamed at the mutant as he screamed as well, "Monster!" The woman screamed in fear before the harassed man came in between them.
"No! The monster just saved me, he's a monster hero!" The man declared, pointing at to the garbage mutant with a smile.
Later, the Hamato Teens and their human friends were watching Grody to the Max,"The Kraang's disappearance was as mysterious as they're arrival. Leaving just who we have to thank for.. keep rolling!" Grody said as she got news on something and they went over to the mutant of trash.
"Uh sir, sir! I hear people are calling you a hero, care to comment? What kind of creature are you? A mutant? A sewer monster? What's your name?" She asked while holding up a mic and the words Muckman was shown on the screen with Miwa and the others watching.
"Muckman? Joan Grody should've left you and Ames in charge of names, Mikey." April said, looking at them.
"Yeah, because that's a weird one," Robyn said with a cringe.
"I would've gone with the Noxious Avenger!" Mikey said with a dramatic smile.
"Seems good. But I would've gone with, the The Dump-piler!" Ames added with a dramatic pose.
The others just gave them looks, "I bet he's one of Stockmanfly's experiments gone awry." Donnie suggested.
"I say we find this guy, and assuming we can tell his butt from his face, kick it!" Raph said ready to go.
"What if he's on our side? They said he stopped a mugging." Olly said, not liking fighting a friendly mutant, "Plus, he's surrounded by humans and isn't attacking any of them," He pointed out.
"Seems like a hero to me," Keno shrugged.
"But what if Shredder wants the Reagent X to control Muckman?" Tal suggested with a concerned look.
"Like I said. Find butt, then kick it." Raph repeated as he slammed his fists together.
"Raph, we're not gonna just fight every new mutant we meet before getting to know them first," Olly said with a brow.
"Aw, you're no fun," Raph said as he slouched in defeat as Jenny giggled and patted him on the back.
"Maybe if things turn bad, then you can fight," Jenny suggested, which perks Raph up.
"Now you're talking!" Raph said with a smile.
In New York, Muckman groaned as he was in an alley alone, trying to avoid all of the press. "What are you sulking about pal? You did a good thing, and people love you for it!" Joe said, trying to make him feel better until a newspaper flew in front of him.
"See that?!" He asked, pointing at the paper.
"Muckman, city's freaky new hero!'" Joe read, "Wow, it looks great!" he declared positively.
Muckman then stood up with a frown. "I wanted to be in the papers as Gosten Grunch, Garbageman," He said before looking at himself solemnly, "Not Muckman the Freak." He then heard another woman shriek before he turned and saw a crowd at the end of the alley.
"There he is!" The woman shrieked in joy with a ton of other people behind her.
"You got a glorified fan club!" Joe explained, which just made him more afraid and he tried running away.
"Leave me alone!" He shouted as he ran away with the turtles and their human friends watching from a rooftop.
"Yeesh, someone's not enjoying himself," Zach commented.
"Only a guilty man runs," Raph stated with a look.
"Or a scared one," Naomi said with a concerned frown. "He wants to stay out, like us."
"Then we should help him, come on," Miwa said as they followed after Muckman.
Muckman used his ability to slide under a board to escape from the people. "They don't care about me, I'm just a joke!" Muckman told Joe, "A sideshow they can point to and laugh at.." He said sadly as the turtles and their human friends jumped down.
"Dude, are you talking to your eyeball?" Casey asked, a little weirded out.
"That's new, and really gross. But fascinating at the same time." Tal said with a weird look.
Muckman gasped in shock, "Turtle People?!" He exclaimed.
"Well, we're more in line with Ninja/Samurai Turtles," Donnie explained as Muckman put Joe back in his head and panted in rage at them.
"It was you! You did this to me!" Muckman roared as he stirred up a windstorm and threw garbage at all of them, the human teens just barely jumped out of the way while the Turtles were pinned under the garbage, "You made me into a freak!" He said with fury as he took a deep breath and released a ton of toxic sludge on the ten warriors.
Miwa, The O'Neil sisters, Casey, Keno, Zach, and Caitlyn stood in front of their friends, "Back off, gruesome!" Miwa warned, drawing her tanto.
"You want them, ya gotta go through us!" Keno stated, with his batons up.
"I don't wanna hurt you, little kids," Muckman said as he backed away from them before he saw Grody and the news crew as he quickly took off and slid under the fences as the teens saw the news crew.
"Uh-oh, Mom!" Caitlyn said in a panic as the seven rushed to the Turtles, as their eyes were bloodshot.
"Get up! They're gonna see you!" Zach added in panic.
"Oh no, they're not," Mikey said as he brought out a smoke bomb a bit sluggishly, but their eyes widened as the news crew came out from the corner just as Mikey threw his smoke bomb down as they saw the puff of smoke right as they portaled away.
"Gotcha," Grody said with a smirk.
Back on the Island, Splinter growled angrily as he watched on the tv with an image of the Turtles and human teens in the smoke cloud while the turtles were lying around next to him, looking very ill as Harumi tended to them, "Um, Oops?" Miwa said with a wince and sheepish smile.
"They saw something. But they don't know what." Mikey said optimistically.
"And that something seems to be 10 human-size mutant turtles!" Grody from the news exclaimed while showing Mikey's back on the picture, which made Splinter growl even more as April, Robyn, and Catilyn walked up with some tea.
"Okay, so maybe my mom got them on camera, but it's not all bad," Catilyn said with a nervous smile.
"Yeah, at least she doesn't know they're ninjas," April said optimistically as Splinter calmly accepted the tea.
"And they appear to be carrying Ninja Weapons," Grody continued.
April winced as Splinter narrowed his eyes and she turned to Robyn seeking help, "Um, well, there's no she knows their names?" Robyn suggested.
The TV then showed an image of the Renaissance painters and artwork wearing Ninja masks, "Furthermore they may also be-" Grody said before Zach turned off the TV.
"Okay, she is good," Keno cringed.
"But doesn't she ever shut up!" April said in annoyance.
"How could you all be so careless!?" Splinter snapped at his students and children. "Secrecy is the most important rule of the ninja, and you have all broken it! You all are forbidden from leaving the island!"
"What?! You can't hold the sloppy escape against us!" Raph snapped defensively, sitting up with his ice pack falling off. "We've got slimed by toxic puke-!"
"Silence!" Splinter roared, causing him to flinch.
"But sensei, Shredder is still in the city and he's working on a mind control serum!" Tal told The rat master.
"And every day we waste stuck here, the city is in danger!" Naomi added.
"Which means we need to be out there doing something!" Leo finished.
"No!" Splinter snapped with his arms crossed. "Until I decide I can trust you to watch yourselves, you will all remain here, grounded!" He declared.
"Now hold on a second, Splinter, you can't just ground all of us!" Olly snapped as he stood up with a glare. "I mean, Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey, I get, but me and my girlfriend and sisters, you can't just-!" He cut himself off as he fell back, still feeling sick while Harumi set him down.
"As your sensei, my decision is final, now to your rooms, and do not come out until I say otherwise!" Splinter said firmly.
"All of you stay right where you are," Orimura ordered as he and Dariyasa walked in.
"Orimura I have this matter under control, you need not concern yourself," Splinter said.
Orimura gave a look, "Really? Because from where I stand, you should be encouraging the children, not punishing them." He said firmly.
"Pardon?" Splinter questioned with a brow.
"Hamato Yoshi, you are punishing the children for no reason," Dariyasa said with her arms folded. "And in their condition that they are in, you seemed to be unaware the last thing they need is to be grounded."
"They have failed the rule of secrecy! And have left them exposed to the news!" Splinter pointed out with an angry expression.
"A mere accident, they cannot be held accountable for their exposure simply because of their poor condition," Orimura argued as he turned to the children, "You mentioned something of a mind control serum did you not?"
"Yes. We're trying to stop Bebop and Rocksteady from…from…from…" Tal was cut off when she sneezed. "Sorry." She said after another sneeze. "From getting the chemicals they need to perfect their mind control serum the Shredder is making."
"And if he finishes it, he could use it on Miwa, us, the Tribe, or all of New York," Vee added.
"Mmm, that is troubling," Orimura said with a nod. "And you've been keeping track of their movements?"
"Yes, Bebop and Rocksteady have been going up and down the streets collecting chemicals, we just stopped them the other night," Leo said as Harumi took his temperature.
"Oh dear, your temperatures are a bit high," Harumi said with a concerned look. "At 108."
"How did you all get sick all of a sudden?" Dariyasa asked in concern.
"You can thank the new mutant in town," Jenny growled before giving a light cough while rubbing her eyes. "He's a mutant dumpster, and I mean literally. And spit garbage puke on us!"
"Mmm, that is disturbing," Orimura said while rubbing his chin. "And repulsing." He added before turning to Splinter. "And you are okay with punishing them because of garbage while your daughter suffers in the hands of your worst enemy, Hamato Yoshi?" He questioned with a brow.
"They have failed their ninja secrecy! They were supposed to remain unhidden!" Splinter stated before Orimura pointed his sword at him.
"You'd do well to remember that you are on my island, Hamato, meaning you will fall under my orders," Orimura said firmly before turning to the children, "Once you have recovered, you shall return to the city and prevent Shredder completion of this formula,"
"We will try," Olly said before clutching his stomach. "Though, it might be a bit. Because man that was nasty."
"Just rest up before you hit the field," Dariyasa said to them. "And try to keep to the shadows much harder this time."
"Trust us. After what happened, we planned on doing it even harder." Ames added before her cheeks puffed up, she grabbed a bucket and puked in it.
"But-" Splinter tried to say before Dariyasa placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Yoshi, wisdom comes from experience and experience comes from making mistakes," Dariyasa said softly, "As parents, we cannot control what mistakes our children make but we can try and accept that can happen and that our children can learn from them,"
Splinter looked on for a moment before he lowered his head. "You are correct. I should've let them amend their mistakes instead of punishing them for them."
"And don't forget even to notice their condition," Orimura said while gesturing to the sick turtles. "Yoshi, you may be their sensei, but they are not at our level to even come close to perfection."
"Even if they were somewhat exposed to the public, be grateful the world still doesn't believe that they are real," Harumi added while rubbing Naomi's head with a rag. "They were fortunate the photographs were too obscure to count as visual proof."
"That is true," Splinter said with a nod as he looked at the turtles' conditions and sighed. "I hope you find a solution to this problem, it is only a matter of time before we are all exposed." He said as he then walked off.
Orimura sighed as Olly spoke up. "Father, I know Splinter can be a bit strict, but sometimes I wonder if he could even tell when we're down we can't be balanced right away." He said.
"Yoshi is a good man. One of the original Hamato Clan members remains." Orimura said to them. "He just wanted to make sure you all are safe and better prepared. Though, sometimes it's hard for students to reach the master's level of skill and harder to remember that students are still learning."
"Yeah, he has a funny way of showing it," Jenny muttered.
"He is only being harsh to protect you not because he distrusts your skills," Dariyasa said to them. "Yoshi has been through much in his tragic past that he tries everything possible to prevent it all from happening again."
"For now, though, I recommend you try and ease yourself," Orimura said, looking at them firmly, "Though you are not grounded, none of you are going anywhere until you are fully recovered."
With that, the two masters left the hut as the ten turtles groaned in disappointment, "Aw yeah," Mikey said as he crawled to the TV, "Crognard Marathon," He said, taking the remote before Harumi snatched it.
"No TV until you are fully healed, Michelangelo," Harumi said while walking away with the remote. Mikey gawked at her before slouching sadly.
Back in Shedder's Lair, Newtralizer was examining the chemicals before mixing them carefully while Bebop and Rocksteady watched him. "Look at that lizard head. Newtralizer. I wanna slap him so bad." Bebop said while drinking some coffee.
"More chemicals, says lab is defended by Kraang traps. Why we should risk our lives for Alien Lizard?" Rocksteady asked, holding out another chart.
"Cause they treat us like suckers; what we need is a sucker who's more of a sucker than us!" Bebop suggested drinking more coffee; Rocksteady shrugged and turned on the TV.
"Breaking news, what other powers does the mysterious Muckman have? Let's hope this monster hero can show us." Joan said as they saw footage of Muckman on it.
Seeing this, Rocksteady got an idea, "Dah, and we just find him." Rocksteady said seriously while Bebop looked skeptical.
"Nah bro, lady says hero, that fools not gonna play with us." Bebop pointed out.
"That look in his eyes. Not the look of the hero, is the look of the fear! We find him, and make him get chemical." Rocksteady said with a grin.
Meanwhile, the turtles were currently in their room, looking much better but also very bored as Tal and Donnie examined a sample of the slime from Muckman, "Muckman is running on more than mutagen guys," She said, still sounding a little sick.
"Whatever garbage he's made up of, directly affects our mutated DNA," Donnie revealed while mixing a vial.
Mikey then sat up next to them, "Ugh, there's only one cure for Muckman fever," He said before holding up the remote he managed to snatch from Harumi, "Crognard," He said eagerly.
But then the door slammed open, and they turned to see Harumi giving a stern look. She then held out her arms with an expectant look. A bit later, Harumi walked off with not just the remote, but also the TV, VHS players, and all the tapes as Mikey reached out for them, whimpering as he slouched in defeat.
"Wow. Harumi is one strict healer." Raph commented.
"Bro, I could tell you stories," Jenny said dully before turning to Olly, "So what's it looking like in the city,"
"Luckily, we can still use our T-Phones," Olly said as he brought out his T-Phone and saw the news.
"We all hope that Muckman keeps us safe from the monstrous child-eating mutant turtles we brought you to an exclusive clip of earlier tonight," Joan said from the phone.
"Child-eaters?! Where'd she get that idea?!" Vee exclaimed.
"We can't let Grody mash our rep so hard," Mikey said, annoyed at this.
"Forget our reps, what about Bebop and Rocksteady?" Leo suggested.
"He's right. We need to stop them from completing that mind control serum." Olly said with a serious look.
"He's right," Robyn said as the others turned to the door and saw their human friends. "They're an issue right now."
"And more importantly, there's something about Muckman, I think he's a good guy," April said as she came in with a newspaper.
"In that case, Bebop and Rocksteady it is then," Leo said with a nod.
"One small problem; we are not allowed off the island until after we've fully recovered," Naomi reminded.
"We have no choice," Olly said with a serious look as he coughed a bit. "Sick or not, we gotta step up. If not, they're one step closer to the mind control serum."
"Then let's show them we still got the right stuff," Miwa said with a smirk, "By sneaking out," She declared.
That night, the ten turtles and Miwa silently left their rooms and went outside as they snuck through the village to get to Donnie's lab, where their portal bracelets are being kept. They then heard footsteps as they quickly hid in the shadows as a tribe turtle walked by. And then they quickly moved out while keeping out of sight as they drew closer to the lab until they entered it.
"Okay, let's grab our bracelets and go," Olly whispered to them.
"Right." Donnie said as he and the others quickly grabbed their bracelets on the counter before they heard movements as Vee looked out and saw Orimura, Splinter, and Dariyasa walking up to them.
"Uh, we better hurry. Because our parents are coming!" Vee whispered in panic.
They quickly put on the bracelets as they wait for them to power up. But as the three masters were about to enter the lab, the human teens came up to them. "Yo, Ninja Masters!" Casey called out to them, which made the three stop as they turned to them just as they were about to open the door. "What up?"
"We were just about to grab the portal bracelets to make sure Olivier and the others don't sneak out to New York while they're still so poorly," Orimura explained.
"Oh, don't worry about that," April assured with a wave with a wide smile, "They're perfectly safe."
"Y-Yeah. We check on the bracelets and we put them away so that the others don't use them." Keno said with a sheepish smile.
"Good. Because under no circumstances should they go to New York. Not only by the press but with how sick they are-" Dariyasa said before they heard a crash inside the lab as three Masters looked at it while humans flinched.
Inside, while reaching for his bracelet, Mikey accidentally knocked over some equipment, and it fell to the floor. Mikey grinned sheepishly while the others scowled at him, "Oops," Mikey whispered with a shrug.
The bracelets then powered up with a beep. "Okay. Time to go." Olly said quickly as they all pressed their buttons. They vanished right before the three masters opened the lab door to see that nobody was there.
"Uh, must've been a rat?" Zach suggested nervously while Splinter glared at him. "No offense, Splinter."
In one of New York's alleyways, Bebop and Rocksteady were searching for Muckman. "Must be close," Bebop said as he tried sniffing him out.
"Papers say that Muck person is seen in this neighborhood, even police fear to walk these alleys," Rocksteady said, knocking over a trash can. Rocksteady looked over and saw what looked like a plastic eyeball. "Look at this; who would throw away a perfectly good eyeball?" He asked before Muckman emerged behind him and knocked him down hard.
"You looking for payback because I messed up your turtle pals? Well, not today!" Muckman said as he made the trash fly into the air again and knocked them down.
"You think turtles and girl our on our side? Nyet, we are on your side!" Rocksteady lied, trying to fool him.
"Yeah, bro, we hate 'em more than moldy cheese.. unless that's your thing, being a trash dude or whatever. I'm just saying," Bebop added, pointing at him.
"Did they... mutate you too?" Muckman asked curiously, the two looked at each other to lie further.
"Dah, it's true/ no doubt!" Bebop and Rocksteady said at once.
"Is there some kind of cure? Or are we stuck like this forever?" Muckman asked hopefully, walking up to them.
"Well, as a matter of fact," Bebop said while holding up a finger, "We do know a certain chemical," he revealed, which caught Muckman's interest.
A bit later, Bebop and Rocksteady drove through the streets to another location. Muckman got out of the truck while Miwa and the turtles followed them easily in the Party Wagon, making sure not to be followed or noticed.
"I can't believe they keep driving in a over conspicuous van!" Mikey said, annoyed at this.
"Not everybody can be as ninja as us," Raph said as Donnie parked the Party Wagon, but hit a couple of cars as the alarms went up.
"Yeah, some ninjas," Miwa muttered with a look. "Can't you guys even park right?"
"Hey, at least we parked," Donnie said in defense.
"Can we just go?!" Olly yelled as they all exited the Party Wagon before Donnie used the key to lock it with a beep. "Move it, Donnie!" He called.
"Coming!" Donnie called after a flinch as he followed after the others.
Bebop went over to a Kraang console and tried hacking into it while Joe popped out of Muckman's skull again.
"What do you want Joe? I'm busy!" Muckman said, annoyed at this.
"I don't know about these weirdos, this whole thing seems fishy to me," Joe said, concerned about this.
"I don't have a choice, Joe," Muckman said, putting him back in.
"You ready to become human again? We don't have all the day.?" Rocksteady asked impatiently.
"This list has all the chemicals that can turn you into a man again my man!" Bebop said, holding out another list of em.
"Don't do it, you know this is wrong!" Joe warned before he was pushed in again.
"Quiet Joe, I'm ready," Muckman said, grabbing the list.
"Busting into Kraang labs? Not very heroic, Mucky." Raph spoke up as they looked up and saw Miwa and the turtles above them. "What would your girl Grody say?" He asked mockingly as they landed down behind him.
"We don't wanna hurt you, but we can't let you rob the lab," Leo warned, trying to stop him.
"I'm not some dumb kid who don't know good from bad, I know who turned me into a monster. You!" Muckman said with rage as he shot more slime at them, which they moved aside.
"I knew he was just another freaky puke monster, get him!" Raph shouted with rage.
"You get the chemical, we'll handle them," Bebop instructed as he and Rocksteady tried to fight them off. Spike breathed another stream of fire at Rocksteady before coiling around him and slamming him to the wall. with Ames trying to stop Muckman.
"What are you doing, Muckman? You're supposed to be a hero!" Ames argued, trying to help him.
"No! You made me into a monster, now you're gonna see what a monster can do!" Muckman said as he made another loud roar and caused more trash to fly at them all.
"I don't know what these two morons told you, but believe me, we did not do this to you!" Olly shouted as he was trying to whack away more trash.
"Trash-Nado!" Mikey called as more trash flipped him as he floated away with a yell.
"Look! Muckman, we're taking it easy on you! This is a misunderstanding!" Olly called out while whacking away some more trash. "We don't… We don't wanna have to-" He called as he saw a bunch of trash coming at him as he was knocked to the truck with spinning eyes, "Hurt you," He moaned.
Mikey was dangling from a wireline before he swung and fell straight through Muckman's torso, or what was left of it. As he looked around in disgust before he saw a slice of pizza on the side as Muckman pulled him out and held him by the shell. "Wait!" He called before pointing to the pizza. "Are you gonna eat that?" He asked with a nervous smile before he was whacked to Olly while the others did as well as Olly covered his head, as the others were knocked down as well while looking dizzy.
Bebop and Rocksteady stood proudly as Muckman marched towards them with a growl as they crowded together. "Muckman, stop! They're just using you!" Donnie shouted in fear as he towered over them.
"Mucking man, do not listen to turtle lies! We crush them, you go into the lab!" Rocksteady instructed.
"Come on Mucky, you think it's hard looking in a mirror now, what about after you're a criminal?" Joe asked, looking at him again.
"At least I'll be human, people won't call me a freak!" Muckman countered.
Olly growled and closed his eyes as a green color spark glowed in the abyss as the Hamato symbol appeared as Olly glowed with green flame-like markings on him as he growled and opened his eyes that were pure white as he glowed green.
"I've tried to be reasonable with you, but if you insist on going on this path, so be it!" Olly said as he drew his axe and spun it around as green flame swirled around him, "Because I won't let anyone, hurt, my, FAMILY!" He roared as he then swung his flaming axe, which sent a stream fire at Muckman, which sent him flying with a yell as he crashed into Bebop and Rocksteady.
They crashed into the wall as Bebop spoke up. "Oh snap! He turned up the heat, yo!" He exclaimed in shock as Olly stood up in front of his team while glaring at the three mutants.
"Just remember Muckman, you asked for this!" Olly exclaimed as he then charged at them. Muckman got up and gave a roar as he levitated some trash and winds started blowing and threw the trash at Olly, but Olly then swung his axe more times, which burned some of the trash to ash while dodging the others. "Trash never beat fire!"
"Well, how about the wind!?" Muckman yelled as he gave another roar, which made the wind stronger as Olly shielded himself from the huge gust of wind, but some of his flames on him went out because of it before Muckman tossed some trash at him, which pushed Olly back a bit as he stood up. "Fire and wind don't mix either." He taunted.
"Yeah, well, these aren't your normal flames," Olly said as he swung his axe again, which sent another green flame stream at Muckman, who shielded himself with some trash as they burned to ash and knocked Muckman back even further. Olly then looked to Bebop and Rocksteady with a glare, "If your smart, you'll run back to Shredder or I'll be having pig roast tonight," He warned.
"Hey, watch the pig puns!" Bebop yelled as he brought out a flashbag. "Let's see how good you are at what you can't see!" He called as he threw it at all of them making a loud cloud of smoke making all their ears ring, zapping Olly out of his Hamato Ninpō with Rocksteady walking up to Muckman.
"Now get in the lab!" Rocksteady ordered as he threw him right into it, bursting down the door.
Muckman groaned in pain as an alarm went off, which sent even more Kraang security systems to fire at him.
"So polite of you to check for traps first; Muckman is hero after all!" Rocksteady mocked as Bebop took down the lasers. Muckman groaned in pain as he climbed up a ledge and saw a chemical container.
"That's it G, the chemical! Now don't you wanna be human again?" Bebop asked as he looked at it.
"Grabs it now!" Rocksteady ordered. Muckman went over to grab it, which set off more security drones, and they started shooting at him even more.
"Muckman!" Donnie said in horror as he and the others recovered from the blast.
"We've got ya, dude!" Mikey called as they charged at Bebop and Rocksteady again while Tal and Donnie inspected him.
"Oh, no. Are you okay?" Tal asked in concern.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" Donnie asked while raising his three-finger hand.
"Uhhh… nine," Muckman said, a bit dizzy as the two looked at each other.
"It's all right, Muckman. Rest up. We got them." Tal said to him.
"No! This one's on me!" Muckman said with rage as Bebop and Rocksteady tried to make a break for it. Miwa glared and lashed her snake arms at Bebop, biting him on the butt.
"YOUCH! Snake girl just bit my piggy rear!" Bebop squealed in pain before dropping onto the floor.
The turtles picked Muckman up and got ready to attack. "Slime him!" Leo ordered as Muckman took a deep breath and released another large batch of toxic sludge over them.
"Aw! Weak son!" Bebop cried in disgust. "Weakweakweakweak, wack!" He yelled in disgust as he shook it off rapidly.
"Nyet, the chemical!" Rocksteady said in horror as the chemical exploded from the reaction with the sludge, Olly then walked forward with his axe up.
"Mm, I love fried pork," Olly quipped while tapping his ax in his hand.
"You got keys to the van, dah?" Rocksteady asked Bebop nervously, "It's time we put to peddle in the metal!" he shouted as the two quickly ran to their van and drove off.
"What are we waiting for?! Let's finish 'em off!" Muckman said, trying to go after them.
"That problem's done with, pal; you really wanna finish this? You know what to do." Joe explained, which made Muckman feel regret.
"Look, uh, turtles and snake guy, I know you were only trying to uh.." Muckman said nervously, trying to find a way to apologize.
"It's cool, Muckman." Mikey assured.
"Stuff happens, it's all good," Raph said with a smile.
"Yeah, we've been accused of way worse things," Donnie assured him until Leo saw something.
"Like being a child eating monsters?!" Leo said in fear as they saw Grody and the cameraman searching for them.
"We gotta get out of here!" Olly exclaimed.
"Scatter fellas, I've got this!" Muckman instructed them as Miwa, and the turtles flipped up to a rooftop as they saw him below in front of a camera.
After returning to their island, the eleven Hamato snuck through the village, whispering to each other to be quiet as they tried to get their rooms, but then the torches lit up, startling the group as they saw their parents. "Ah! Sensei!" Leo said nervously.
"Mother, Father! Hey!" Olly smiled nervously.
"And where have you all been?" Splinter asked coyly.
"Nowhere?" Raph answered slowly.
Dariyasa rubbed her chin, "Nowhere? Hmm, I don't believe there is a Nowhere on the island," She recalled.
"And I assume in this Nowhere is where you got so burnt?" Orimura questioned, pointing to the light burns on them.
Olly saw his slightly burnt axe and remembered his powers accidentally got them scorched as he hid his weapon behind his back "Oh! That! Um, well, you see…" he started stammering before turning to the others for help.
"On our way back…" Naomi tried to say.
"We…" Miwa started.
"...were…" Leo added.
"...sorta…" Vee ran on.
"...hit…" Raph added.
"…by…" Jenny continued.
"...a…" Donnie added.
"...big…" Tal went on.
"...hot…" Ames pulled on.
"…bus?" Mikey finished. Splinter, Orimura, and Dariyasa raised their eyebrows while some of Mikey's teeth fell off, making them raise their brows even more.
"Hit by a big hot bus?!" Donnie whispered while looking at Mikey. "You did that last time we snuck out!"
"Well, what was I supposed to say? Meteor? Flaming Cow? Flying Burning Building?" Mikey questioned with a look. "I can't make this stuff on a whim you know!" He pointed out that as the two gave intense glares, sparks clashed with each other.
"Enough!" The three masters yelled with their weapons banging the ground, which made them all stand up stiffly.
"Tell us everything," Orimura said firmly.
They are then huddled around the dojo as the teens sit on their knees. "And then Muckman distracted the news crew long enough for us to get away." Miwa finished explaining.
"So you disobeyed our order to wait until you recovered, and left the Island?" Orimura surmised with a brow.
"Nobody saw us, dad! We pinky promise!" Ames assured strongly.
"Plus, I unlock my Hamato Ninpō!" Olly added, holding up his ax.
"And we managed to get Grody off our backs. Look." Leo said, showing them his T-Phone. "We fixed everything."
The three masters went down and saw Muckman on the news. "Turtle mutants? Nah. No such thing. Maybe you're thinking of those kids who dressed up in costumes, like the Pulverizer. Take it like me, Muckman. New York's monster hero!" He said as Grody then turned to the screen.
"And there you have it, folks! Straight from Muckman himself: The turtle mutants do not exist." Grody said as the turtles sighed in relief.
"There you see, now everyone knows that Turtle Mutants are as real as Alligators in the sewers," Jenny said with a smile.
"So you see, we're all cool," Raph added while their human friends watched.
"Everything's back to normal," Tal said with a bright smile.
"Nothing to worry about," Donnie added.
"And we managed to stop Bebop and Rocksteady," Mikey pointed out.
"All while staying completely out of sight," Naomi added.
"And slowed down Shredder's mind control plans," Vee continued.
Miwa then looked at the three, "So would say we're back to full health?" She asked hopefully.
The three thought for a moment before looking at each other and nodded, "Yes," They said as the eleven teens gave relieved smiles.
"But, if your strength has returned, then you would not object to a little…Randori?" Splinter questioned as he, Orimura, and Dariyasa each brought out a wooden sword.
This caused the turtles and Miwa to look in fear before the three Masters whacked them senselessly with the wooden swords, which caused the young Ninja to lay down in pain while clutching their heads while groaning as the six human teens cringed at the turtles and Miwa's punishment.
Keno turned to his friends, "Uh, after we tricked them so the Turtles could escape, you think we'll get Randori?" He whispered nervously.
"Let's not stick around and find out," April suggested as they started sneaking away.
But as the six humans tried to sneak away, the three masters appeared behind them as they gave a humming sound, which caused them to yelp and flinch back in fear, and before they could blink in six swift strikes they were on the floor with the turtles, groaning in pain.
"Not, Cool," Casey moaned, holding his head.
"I hope you've learned young ones, that when your elders say to stay put, you stay put," Dariyasa said with a look.
"And more importantly, that the truth may hurt but deception hurts even more," Orimura added.
"And after that deception you pulled, a punishment is an order," Splinter said calmly before turning to Orimura. "Would you agree, Grandmaster?"
Orimura hummed for a moment before he gave a smirk. "Yes. I believe a punishment is an order."
"Yes. That sounds fair enough." Dariyasa said with a smile before they turned to the teens, "Any objections young ones?"
"Because I believe ten more rounds of Randori could be an adequate option," Orimura said while raising his wooden sword.
"No, no. We deserve punishment." Olly groaned while rubbing his head as they all sat up and nodded in agreement.
"And what do you think would be a fitting punishment, my son?" Orimura asked, bringing his face to Olly's who flinched back.
Olly turned to the others, but Raph and Jenny were reading a comic, Donnie and Leo were whistling, Mikey and Tal seemed to be thinking, Ames was counting on her fingers, Vee and Naomi were meditating, Keno and Casey were playing Go Fish, and April, Robyn, Miwa, and Caitlyn were looking at their nails.
"Uh, we should, stay in our rooms?" Olly started while the three masters listened. "And then think about what we did and wait until we are 100% better?" He suggested as the others chattered in agreement.
"What about being grounded for a week?" Splinter suggested firmly, which caused the children to panic.
"Oh, we wouldn't go that far," Leo, Miwa and Olly said.
"Yeah, I mean, we're probably still sick," Vee and Tal added.
"We're cool with the thinking," Mikey and Ames said.
"Maybe some extra clean-up time," April and Robyn suggested.
"Seems fair," Keno and Casey agreed.
"Yeah Grounding's not necessary," Donnie and Naomi added.
"Maybe next time," Raph, Jenny, Zach, and Caitlyn finished as they all smiled hopefully.
The three masters did not heed their protests. "You are all grounded for a week!" They declared firmly as the 17 teens all groaned in defeat; even though they protected their existence, unlocked another new power, and gained a new ally, they still got punished for disobeying their masters' orders.
Olly's Hamato Ninpō is using the fire of the Dragon King, similar to what 2003 Leo did with Gunshin. Also, Muckman was one of the few who was never mutated by the Kraang, so that's why the mutagen effected him while others were immune.
On another note, a slight Spoiler, Season 4 will still have Space Episodes but the direction it goes will be different slightly
