*Peewit's POV*
I hid behind Johan as soon as one of those wolves talked.
The first was white with blue markings on its face, tail, and paws. Its eyes are also blue. It had large white wings with blue tips. It had tail feathers in the shape fins(?)on either side on the tip of its tail(Thick of a Night Fury from How to Train Your Dragon). It was the biggest of the three.( pin/23361491797314472/ )
The second had sleek, thick fur. The fur on its top half was blue-green while its bottom half was white. Its eyes were blue-green Its head was white but it had blue-green ears and a blue-green diamond shape marking on its forehead. On the sides of its neck were darker lines of some kind. It had large white wings that faded to blue-green. It had tail feathers in the shape of fins on either side of its tail. It was the smallest of the three. ( pin/2040762309138821/ )
The third had black fur with red markings. Its eyes were as yellow as the sun. It had large black wings with orange tip. Its tail feathers matched its wings. It was the second biggest of the three. It was also the one that talked. ( pin/195554808796723959/ )
Johan placed his medallion back around his neck and got ready to draw his sword.
The black one saw us and then a look of excitement appeared in its eyes. "No way. Nas, Coral! I think we've been summoned." It said in a male voice. "Really?!" The smallest said in a female voice while looking around in excitement. "But how is that possible? Ember, did you do this somehow?!" The last one said in a male voice, glaring at the one known as Ember.
Ember looked at him offended. "You really think I did this Nas? You know that we can only be someone who has the Medallion of Cedia!" He said.
'The Medallion of Cedia?' I thought as I went out from behind Johan. I looked up at him and saw that he was once again holding his medallion and staring at it. Just then Ember looked over at us, the other two winged wolves followed his lead. Their eyes widened. "And since there's only one person who has it. That would mean..." Ember said before he spread his wings and flew towards us. But, for some reason, Johan didn't draw his sword. 'Is it because they know about Johan's medallion? If that's true, then that would mean that they knew where he came from and probably who his parents are.' I thought.
"No way! It is the Medallion of Cedia! Um excuse me, but your name wouldn't happen to be Johan, would it?" He asked.
"Yes. But, how did you know my name?" He asked the three winged wolves.
Before Ember and the female winged wolf, who's probably Coral, could say anything Nas spoke. "I think it is best if we explain the whole story in the presence of the Ruler of this land." He said in a formal manner. 'Something tells me he's practically the Johan of the group.' I thought before looking up at my friend. And I did not like the look on his face. "Johan, you're not seriously thinking of taking them to the King? Are you?"
"Something tells me we can trust them Peewit." Johan said, lightly placing a hand on his medallion. 'They can also give Johan answers to questions he's been asking his whole life.' I thought. I then let out a sigh. "Fine. Let's take them to see the King." I said.
"I'll send a letter to the King to let him know by magic." Homnibus said. He then got to work writing the letter.
"I have to smurf back to the Village. I need to make sure that the spell that was used on me and Homnibus wasn't used on any of them." Papa Smurf said. "But can me and Grouchy go with them?" Vexy asked him. "Yeah. I hate being curious." Grouchy said. Papa Smurf had a thoughtful look for a few more minutes before he spoke. "Alright. But you have to make sure that no one who doesn't know about us does not see you." He said to them. "We promise Papa Smurf." Grouchy and Vexy said at the same time.
With that, Papa Smurf went back to the Smurf Village on Feathers the stork while me, Johan, Vexy, Grouchy, and the three winged wolves went to the castle.
~When they got back to the Castle~*Johan's POV*
We had just arrived back at the castle.
When me and Peewit went to put Bayard and Biquette in the stables, Princess Savina was waiting for us. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her. We had known each other since she first came to the castle when we were five years old, and I had slowly started developing feelings for her as the years went by. That's why I always did my best to help her, if it was fencing or archery, horse riding tricks that would help her if she was being chased, or getting away from Dame Barbara, I will always help her.
"Hello Princess." I said to her as me and Peewit came to a stop. Nas, Coral, and Ember landed beside us. "Savina!" Dame Brabara said as she walked towards Sabina. "Dame Barbara. I was just waiting for Johan and Peewit, as well as the winged wolves that Homnibus mentioned in his letter." Sabina said.
Dame Barbara then turned to look at us. Her eyes widened when she saw Nas, Coral, and Ember. "Well, I suppose when it comes to something like three winged wolves, you'll have to see it to believe it. But the King is waiting to see what these three have to say. Even though I doubt these three can talk." She said before walking towards the castle.
Me and Peewit quickly put Bayard and Biquette in their stalls before the rest of us followed her. "Wow, Smurfette was right. She doesn't let Savina be herself." Vexy said when she and Grouchy came out from under Peewit's hat. "Who are you?" Savina asked Vexy. "I'm Vexy. Smurfette and Sassette's sister." She said.
We then saw Dame Barbara waiting for us, which caused Vexy and Grouchy to hide again before we got close enough that the governess could see them. Once we were all inside we started walking to the throne room.
Once there, me, Peewit, Savina, and Dame Barbara stood on either side of the King's throne while Nas, Coral, and Ember stood in front of us. But before she went to stand beside Savina and the King, Dame Barbara took out a cloth from her pocket and used it to bind Peewit's mouth. He shot the governess a 'Why did you do that?' look. "Just to make sure the talking part isn't one of your jokes." She said as she walked away to stand between Sabina and the King.
"Wow. And I thought Nas was no fun." Ember said as he walked towards Peewit. "Hey!" Nas said, offended.
Ember then untried the cloth that binds Peewit's mouth. "Wow. Thanks Ember!" Peewit said to the yellow eyed winged wolf. "No problem. After all, my kind was born to help others in need." Ember said as he went to stand beside his friends.
"I understand you can shed a little light on Johan's past before he was found by one of my knights." The King said to the three winged wolves. They nodded their heads. "Yes. We can." Coral said
The tips of their wings then glowed as they flew up. With one flick of their wings a wave of light flared across the room. When it faded dust floated in the room. "Wow! That's so cool." Peewit said. I nodded my head in agreement.
"This is the story of what happened to the kingdom of Cedia." Nas said, causing a group of dust to form a symbol of some kind( pin/852376667001816338/ ). Probably the symbol of the kingdom of Cedia. "Uumm... What is the kingdom of Cedia?" Peewit asked them. "Cedia is a kingdom where monsters of all kinds live peaceful, happy lives that is on an island hidden by magic." Nes explained.
"Sixteen years ago an evil witch known as Eowyn invaded Cedia." Coral explained, causing another group of dust to take the form of a woman, most likely Eowyn( pin/1029354058573416436/ ). 'That actually looks like the witch from my nightmare.' I thought.
"But King Duncan and Queen Petra, a pair of werewolves, were able to escape with their one-year old son. Before Eowyn got to the castle." Ember said. A group of dust shifted into a pair of wolves. One was wearing a cape that looked a lot like mine while the other carried a basket in its mouth. "Um, what's with the wolves?" Peewit asked them. "Werewolves have the ability to turn into actual wolves whenever they want." Nas explained to him.
"They were able to come to this land, but Eowyn found them and used a forbidden spell to kill them." Nas said. "*gulp*How forbidden is the spell?" Peewit asked them in a slightly scared voice. "So forbidden that the most corrupt, degenerate, iniquitous, nefarious, and vicious spellcaster you know won't use it?" Ember said, causing all of us to gasp. Peewit hid behind me. "That would mean that Balthazar probably won't even use it." Grouchy said under Peewit's hat, loud enough that only me and Peewit heard him.
"What about King Duncan and Queen Petra's son?" Savina asked them, obviously worried. "Don't worry. They were able to hide the young prince before Eowyn found them." Coral explained to us.
"But what about the kingdom of Cedia itself?" The King asked them. "Eowyn took over. She even outlawed music of all kinds, dancing, all magic except her own, and basically everything fun in the kingdom. Her evilness of even weakening the spell that keeps the kingdom safe. By the time we get there, the spell will stop working completely and won't be able to be placed again." Coral explained to us. "It was the first time our kind, the Element Wolves, the sworn protectors of the kingdom, have failed to defeat a threat to the kingdom." Nas said.
"Isn't there any hope for Cedia?" I asked them. "There is. King Duncan and Queen Petra's son has been foretold to be the one to defeat Eowyn and save the kingdom." Ember said. The dust then disappeared into thin air.
"So all we need to do is find the Prince of Cedia, probably train him to fight, set sail to Cedia, and hold off any allies Eowyn has so the Prince can fight and defeat Eowyn? Piece of cake!" Peewit said.
"Actually, finding the Prince won't be a problem. Because we already found him." Ember said.
We all stared at him with wide eyes. "Then where is he?" Dame Barbara asked them.
The three Element Wolves then looked at me. "Um... Why are you staring at me?" I asked them, getting uncomfortable after a few minutes.
"You haven't pieced it together yet?" Coral asked me. I just became more confused. "Pieced what together?" I asked. The three looked at each other. "I think everything we told them probably is making it hard for him to think it through." Ember said. The other two nodded their heads in agreement. It took everything I had to hide my embarrassment when they said that. 'But they're right. Everything they just told us was so hard to believe I can't think of anything else.' I thought.
Nas then took a step forward. "Johan, think carefully. You have the Medallion of Cedia, a magical item from the kingdom of Cedia, that can summon us Elemental Wolves, the protector of Cedia. Also, how do you think we guessed your name?" He said.
It all started to sink in.
I looked at the others and saw a look of realization crossed their faces as well. I then looked over at the three Elemental Wolves and saw that they noticed that we had figured out what they were talking about when they said they had already found the Prince of Cedia. "The missing Prince of Cedia...is me."
