Ramen Talk of Discipline and Perverted Life
Today is ninja training for Komori and the Hanzo girls is going something a little different because Kiriya decided that it's going to be Komori who will be teaching class, the reason is because Komori has the experience and combat from the world of more dangerous things than here. The things he saw, survive, and the experience when he fought those things altogether could be of help for the girls to become stronger through both body and mind, and heart too.
"Okay Katsugari, try performing the two kicking moves of Muay Thai I just showed you and do it all in the air." Komori instructed.
"You got it." Katsuragi nodded with a wink and a thumb up.
Katsuragi jumps in the air about twenty feet in the air performing a perfect swing kick upward making her leg completely straight almost facing the ceiling, then a triple swift rolling axe-kick before diving down for a heel dive kick on the floor.
"Alright, how was that bat boy?" Katsuragi asked.
"You did good, but the last flip for the axe kicks was slower about 10%, try it again and keep doing it until you got it all right." Komori advised.
"Seriously, but it felt like I was doing okay." Katsuragi puzzled.
"That may seem like it, but you must always be prepare to execute your moves greatly if you don't want your enemies to recover quickly." Komori stated.
"He does have a point, Katsuragi. Just because you made the move you wanted to make strong as the way you wanted, that doesn't mean you should get cocky with just that." Ikaruga agreed.
"You should also make sure that the moves you created are still sharp as ever in case of fighting a strong opponent, you should also work on making your techniques stronger." Ikaruga stated as well.
"Sounds like you have the idea of how training should go in these sorts of things." Komori commented.
"I've always been the one to take training and the discipline art of a ninja." Ikaruga believed strongly.
"Alright, show me some of your swordsman skills." Komori pulled out his katana.
"Of course." Ikaruga nodded as she unsheathes her sword.
Ikaruga and Komori into their sword fighting stance while Katsuragi got back to her practice with the kicking, Komori made the first move charge in with a fast sideway blade swing as Ikaruga reacted in time to block it though Komori made an instant movement.
"Hmm." Komori smirked a little.
The moment his sword made contact with Ikaruga's long sword, Komori quickly pulls back and move the length of the blade to the left and in a downward angel across on Ikaruga sending her back a few feet.
"What… That was fast." Ikaruga shocked as she looks down seeing the large cut hole on her shirt revealing a blue bra.
"Do you wish to keep going, I'm sure you want to show me more of your moves." Komori asked.
"Yes, and I wish for you to do the same with your moves." Ikaruga nodded and charges at Komori.
Ikaruga and Komori clashes their blades move around a little as the Bat-Ninja swing his sword swift with some strength forcing Ikaruga on the defense, she couldn't even find the time to counterattack though she wouldn't give up that easily.
"Here I come!" Ikaruga shouted as she swings her sword fast and fierce with a little blue flame.
"(Interesting, so her elemental attack involves fire like how I fought against Homura four days ago.)" Komori thought recalled.
(Flashback)
Komori and Homura clashed their swords together though Homura was able to pushed him back for a few feet, she smirks emitting her swords into flames slashing at Komori as he dodges them and parry them away.
"Hope you don't mind getting a bad burn!" Homura commented.
Homura charges in swinging her six blades strong and fast though Komori used his ninja bat vanish technique to get behind then deliver a strong kick to the back, she gasps in pain, but she wouldn't go down that easily.
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Homura excited.
Homura jumps high with her swords above her head and cross slash at Komori which he was able to block, but her attack past by him and burn mark of slash crosses on the ground.
(Flashback End)
"(The only difference is that she fights with one sword and a blue flame, and Homura fights with six swords with normal flames.)" Komori thought interested.
Ikaruga charges in for an upper slash from the right as Komori runs backward for a little distance between them, but Ikaruga made one strong leap that is within her range as she swings up her sword fast going for the target. Komori saw this coming and swing up his sword almost after Ikaruga made her move touching it from the bottom, then redirect it around past him and spins around to for a counterattack though Ikaruga was able to block it.
"(Incredible, his skill with a blade is more fierce and grateful than I expected.)" Ikaruga thought complimented.
"(She almost got me with how long her sword is, it must take years of practice to wield it and it would appear she is the master.)" Komori thought commented.
"Wow, look at them go!" Hibari amazed while balancing eight books on her head.
"If this were a real battle, Komori would indeed take the win." Yagyu believed, her training is doing gymnastic with both her legs tied together with her umbrella.
"Wow, they're really going all out even though this is just training." Asuka impressed while balancing upside-down with one finger one small pole.
Ikaruga brought her sword back like she's putting it back into the sheath and dashed at Komori who put up a defense pose, then suddenly everything around them appears to be moving in slow motion almost to a near halt as Komori and Ikaruga are the only ones moving around.
And in the instant moment, Ikaruga made her move with one of her own ninja secret art.
"Hien Hōsen: Mode One!" Ikaruga blitzed past Komori.
For a moment, none of them have made any moments and not a sound was made until they both move at the same time putting their swords down like putting them back in the sheath, but Ikaruga gasp in pain and fell on her knees.
"My word, it looks like you got me." Ikaruga panted.
"Don't sell yourself short, you also got one on me too." Komori turned around showing the cut hole on his right sleeve and one on his shirt.
"I have to say, your techniques are quite graceful, and your movements were beautiful to behold." Komori complimented offering his hand.
"Thank you, I just gone through years of training like you though in a different way." Ikaruga smiled, accepting the hand and getting back up.
"Hey Ikaruga, you're getting close to the bat boy now?" Katsuragi teased.
This causes Ikaruga to blush like crazy upon realizing her hand is still holding onto Komori's hand and quickly pulls away.
"Th-Thank you for the training session." Ikaruga said fast and walked away.
"Huh, I wonder why Ikaruga is suddenly leaving Komori?" Hibari asked, but she soon lost her focus and trip dropping the books from her head.
"Hibari, are you okay?" Yagyu asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay." Hibari said with her eyes dizzy.
(Later)
Ikaruga is seen walking out through the school gate while holding a piece of paper in her hand as she is looking at the list on it.
"Okay, I think I can complete this list shortly." Ikaruga said to herself as she is looking at the little grocery Hibari asked her to get some today.
"Hey, Ikaruga!" Komori called out running up to her.
"Oh, Komori, are you going out for a walk?" Ikaruga asked.
"Something like that, but Katsuragi told me about this ramen stand she told me in town, and she told me to meet up with her here." Komori explained.
"Oh, I see Katsuragi has gotten you into her ramen obsession." Ikaruga chuckled.
"HEY!" Katsuragi yelled running up to them.
"I'll have you know that my love for ramen is no obsession, but an awesome devotion of how I would be forever eating ramen until I blow up a blowfish!" Katsuragi determined.
"That just proves my point." Ikaruga deadpanned.
"Come now, how about the three of us go to get some ramen together." Komori suggested taking their hands in his.
"Well, if you're offering then I guess I can go for it just for today." Ikaruga said blushing a little.
"Oh yeah, now you will once again test the awesomeness of ramen!" Katsuragi excited.
The three ninja students walk together through the town making their way to the one ramen shop that Katsuragi would always go to whenever she feels like going for some ramen, then Komori spotted a young boy being harassment by three older looking girls demanding money from him.
Komori pulls out one of his batarangs making a swift toss as it bounces from a light pole to a wall making its way to the three bully girls, hitting them each on the head right on the weak spot knocking them out and returning to Komori. All while leaving the boy confuse of what just happen though decided to use this chance to get away before those girls could recover from whatever just happened to them.
"Very well done, you hit those bullies with flawless aim." Ikaruga complimented.
"But are you sure it was okay? We're still students and doing that may expose our secret." Katsuragi concerned.
"Oh my, are you actually feeling worried about something like the rules for once?" Ikaruga teased.
"Hey! I was just asking a question!" Katsuragi snapped.
"Easy girls, I did what I thought was right helping out that boy and it didn't matter if bullies or villains were either men or women, I will do what I can to stop fight them from harming others." Komori stated strongly from his heart.
"Wow, that was so deep." Katsuragi complimented.
A minute later, they arrive at the ramen stand and they started eating some ramen together as Komori find this food to be very delicious like the other times whenever he gets the chance to go to Japan, Ikaruga is also enjoying the ramen even though she wouldn't say it out loud.
"You know, I always love eating ramen whenever I like to come here but eating them with others like with you guys is the best too!" Katsuragi stated.
"I couldn't' agree with you more, doing things with those around in your life would always make them special." Komori nodded, then he went into a moment of thought.
Thinking about everyone back home, the Bat Family and the friends thinking they must be doing okay though wonder how they're doing since he vanished into another world, maybe even worry about them hoping nothing bad has happened to them.
"Are you feeling home sick?" Ikaruga asked as she noticed the look on his face.
"Yeah, I'm fine, just thinking about my family and all." Komori assured.
"I bet it must be pretty cool to have been trained by the Batman himself consider all the crazy and awesome things you told us about." Katsuragi said.
"Yes, he really is an amazing man. My family and those from the village I once lived in were always training in case the day would ever come that he would need a Bat-Ninja to fight by his side, but how I got to home was a happy beginning." Komori mentioned.
"Oh yeah, you mentioned about that, how you family was destroyed." Katsuragi said looking sad right now.
"I never told you this, but when I first started living with my mentor, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to fit in and be part of a family that I wasn't related to even if we were distance relatives." Komori recalled those feelings long ago.
"I know how you felt, I was adopted into the Shinobi family because the father just wanted a talented young soul to carry on the family's Shinobi line because the son didn't have those talents and was thought to be a waste of time be a Shinobi." Ikaruga looked down at the reflection of the noodle bowl.
"I bet he must've hated you a lot for stealing the right to be the heir." Komori guessed.
"You're spot on, my older stepbrother Murasame held a deep grudge against me for entering his life and stealing everything that should have been rightful his, he even tried to steal Hien away because it also symbolizes as the heir to the family as well." Ikaruga remembered that time not too long ago.
"He never once accepted me as his little sister, always calling me trash and believe that I was just lucky that father spotted me, it truly felt like I was destined to be alone." Ikaruga said.
"But you didn't, you ended up making friends would be your new family like me and the others." Katsuragi pointed out with a smirk.
"Yes, you're right about that though you were more annoying when we first met." Ikaruga chuckled.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Katsuragi asked snapping in a little anger.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but is your brother still giving you trouble with the grudge?" Komori asked.
"Oh no, no need to worry about that. I don't know how or why, but a few weeks later or so, Murasame is more calm and collective now. Accepting how things are and we even patch things up, we're slowly starting to see each other as siblings." Ikaruga answered with a smile.
"Oh yeah, you told me about that once?" Katsuragi recalled.
"Yes, I asked him why once and all he told me was that he met an old man who knew our father showing him the right path for his life." Ikaruga mentioned.
"Well, I'm glad for it's important for family to always stick together no matter what." Komori believed.
"Sticking together no matter what, I wish that were true for my family." Katsuragi said turning around and looking up at the sky.
"You don't have to tell me if the memory is too painful." Komori said.
"Thanks, but I think it's best to get this off my chest." Katsuragi assured.
"You see, my parents were two of the best Shinobis I know, and I wanted to grow up to be just like them one day, but one fateful day tore us apart." Katsuragi started her story.
"Did they die on a mission?" Komori asked.
"No, it wasn't a death on mission, it was abandoning a mission." Katsuragi answered.
"As you may already know, Shinobis must always carry out their missions to the letter from beginning to the end, but if you were to fail that mission then you have to accept death." Ikaruga reminded.
"I know, but even the Batman believe such a rule like that is inhuman to throw away your life like that when you could have done so much more." Komori mentioned with a firm look in his eyes.
"Well, good news is that my parents aren't dead. After failing a mission, they decided to go rogue to avoid the punishment, but they didn't want to drag me through the mud and decided to leave me just so I could still live a little happy life." Katsuragi explained.
"I see, that's why you work the hardest even though it may seem like you were having fun." Komori figured out.
"That's right, I want to become a strong shinobi to one day see my parents again, so we can be together again." Katsuragi reached up her hand to the sky, then is held by Komori's hand.
"Then don't give up on your goal, I may not know what your parents are like, but I can already tell from your words that they must be very proud of you right now." Komori believed.
This struck Katsuragi in the heart as she has never been told like that before and suddenly tears started to come out, not being able to hold herself together any longer, Katsuragi latch onto Komori letting out the crying sound as he comforts her and Ikaruga watches with a smile.
Komori secretly look over ahead, up to his left to notice to figures on the rooftop of a building looking directly back at him with a nod before they vanish. The Bat-Ninja smiles figuring it must be Katsuragi's parents secretly watching over her for a little while, he made a mental promise to help Katsuragi find her parents and bring them together.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Komori got to spend some time with Katsuragi and Ikaruga learning about their past to deepen their bonds together, and it looks like Komori got a little glance of Katsuragi's parents who are still looking after her even from far away.
