A short story how a young dreamy woman yearns for adventure and romance. Nibelheim is a village in a remote region where very little seems to happen, but thanks to Shinra life gets a bit easier but for a price. Claudia Strife longs for the day she can leave and find her own way.

"You know, if you were trying to turn Tseng into the perfect unfeeling killing machine, you failed." Reno uttered. Veld smiled into his mug. "I was trying to turn him into a leader." Veld counterpointed. "How do you think I did?" Reno chose not to answer that. Five times Reno saw Tseng assist sick/injured Turks and one time Reno got to help him.

Tifa kidnapping happened, Cloud becomes worried and Insane as she disappears. The involvement of Shinra, 1st Class Soldier and Aerith behind the scenes, makes the story even darker.

Aerith has lost context for a lot of things since leaving Midgar...so clearly, extra effort on her part is required. (Or, a look into the reasons why Aerith seems more gung-ho in FF7 Rebirth than in FF7 Remake...especially with regards to Cloud.) [Spoilers for all of Rebirth.]

Cloud has just joined the Turks after a rigorous training program. Proud of himself, he decides to write a letter home to his mom.

"He smells like a baby, like a pup that hasn't ever presented. Like his hormones are so subtle they're practically nonexistent unless you're cuddling him.
