Shortly after they declared that they would discuss the matter privately, soldiers from Heart arrived quickly to control the situation.

Once they made sure everything was in order, they left, although Asami noticed something out of the corner of her eye and glanced at it before returning with the others.

Raya thought it wouldn't be a good idea, for the time being, to go to the palace, so they decided to go to a more private place, the outskirts of the kingdom.

Once they got far enough away, they sat down on some rocks, for it was time to talk.

"Okay. Who the hell are you?" asked Namaari with her arms crossed.

"Namaari, there's no need to be so blunt." said Raya.

"Forgive me, but I find it very strange that one person can do what she can do." said Namaari pointing at Korra.

"You'll have to forgive her. She has started to be less cold to others months ago." whispered Sisu to Korra.

"It's okay. I understand. I don't think we ever introduced ourselves. I'm Korra and this is Asami Sato." said Korra introducing herself and her girlfriend.

"This is Sisu and Namaari." began Raya introducing her friends. "And I'm Raya, princess of the kingdom of Heart."

"Wait, does that mean Chief Benja is…?" asked Asami surprised by the revelation, as was Korra.

"Yes, he's my father." said Raya.

"Not only that. Namaari is the daughter of the chief of the kingdom of Fang." said Sisu pointing to Namaari.

Korra and Asami were surprised for a few seconds before bowing respectfully.

"We are very sorry for our lack of courtesy." said Korra.

"We certainly didn't know who you were, your majesties." said Asami.

"That's all right. You didn't know." said Namaari a little nervous about it.

"And please, don't be so formal. Just call us by our names." said Raya with a small smile.

"Back to the main topic. How did you do that? I mean, I know I've been here for a few months, but I've never seen a human do what you've done before." said Sisu.

"Well, this may sound a little weird, but, both Asami and I, we're not from here." said Korra.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Raya.

"That we come from another world." said Asami.

That shocked the other two girls and the dragoness.

"What? That's totally ridiculous." said Namaari.

"As ridiculous as the fact that there's a dragon next to you and I was able to control the water?" asked Korra.

"There you have a point." said Sisu.

"Okay. Suppose it's true that you came from another world. Is that the reason you have that power?" asked Raya.

"Not quite." began Korra.

"In our world there are several people who are born with a special chi that allows them to manipulate one of the four elements. Those people are known as benders." explained Asami.

"So, are you also one of those benders?" asked Namaari.

"No. I wasn't born with that chi, so I am what in our world is known as a non-bender." said Asami.

"And since she can manipulate water, that makes her a waterbender, right?" asked Raya.

"Yes, but I am more than that. I am the Avatar." said Korra.

"The Avatar?" asked Sisu confused.

"The Avatar is the only person in the world who can control all four elements and has the duty to bring balance to the world." said Asami.

"Wow." said Sisu in amazement.

"How did you get that title?" asked Raya.

"I didn't get it. I was born with it. The Avatar has been around for thousands of years. When an Avatar dies, they are reincarnated following a cycle of reincarnation based on the elemental nations." said Korra.

That rather surprised the three listeners, as she was implying that the Avatar was something akin to a divine and powerful being, almost like dragons.

"Wait. If the Avatar is the guardian of your world, why are you here?" asked Namaari.

"Well, it all started when we were in the spirit world." began Korra.

"Spirit world?" asked Raya.

"It's a world connected to ours through portals that is home to spirits." explained Asami.

"As I was saying, we were having a quiet day when an old friend of mine asked us for help. He told us that the spirit world was connected to more worlds besides ours and one day, a dragon came to see him to ask for help." said Korra.

"A dragon?" asked Sisu in surprise.

"Yes. He told him that he came from this world and that something terrible would happen. So he asked me to come here to try to solve the matter." said Korra.

"We traveled through the spirit world until we found our way to this world and… well, the rest you already know." said Asami.

The three listeners were worried.

If they had really come for a visit, then nothing would happen, but they came to that world because a dragon told them about a terrible threat.

They didn't know what that threat was about, but if it was necessary for a powerful person from another world to come and lend a hand, it must mean that it was a very serious matter.

"Do you know what this threat is about?" asked Raya.

"No. We intended to see Chief Benja, that is, your father, to explain the situation to him so we could find out something." said Asami.

"Well, I'm sorry to say it, but since the Druun, nothing serious has happened in Kumandra." said Namaari.

"Druun? We've been hearing that from the people we were asking, but we didn't know what they were." said Korra.

"Well, since you've told your story, it's only natural that we should too." said Raya.

For the next little while, the three of them were telling them Kumandra's story.

They told them that Kumandra was a kingdom where humans and dragons lived together in harmony, which surprised the Avatar and the engineer, for in their world there were almost no dragons other than the one owned by the former Fire Lord, Zuko.

Then they told them about the Druun, dark beings that turned anyone they came across into a stone statue.

The dragons fought against them, but fell.

At that moment, Sisu's siblings gave her the dragon gem, a magical object created from the combination of their magic, which Sisu used to destroy the Druun and return the people to normal while she disappeared and the fallen dragons remained petrified.

Korra and Asami couldn't help but feel sorry to hear that the dragons didn't return to normal.

It was then that they were told how the inhabitants of Kumandra fought over the Dragon Gem, which caused Kumandra to split into five separate kingdoms called Fang, Heart, Spine, Talon and Tail, names based on the position of the dragon-shaped river.

Korra and Asami compared that to the nations of their world which were based on the four elements.

They came to the part where, 500 years later, Raya's father, Chief Benja, brought the five kingdoms together to try to bring peace and re-form Kumandra.

It was at that meeting that Raya and Namaari met and became friends.

However, the moment Raya showed Namaari the Dragon Gem, which was guarded by the kingdom of Heart, Namaari betrayed her and tried to steal the gem, much to the horror of the Avatar and the engineer.

Afterwards, the other leaders began to fight over the gem, which caused it to break and the next moment, the Druun returned.

Having lost her father, Raya set out to find the one person who could fix everything, Sisu, the last dragon.

Korra and Asami couldn't help but compare that story to that of Aang, who was the last hope during the 100-year war.

When Raya found Sisu, she was disappointed, as Sisu wasn't the one who actually created the Dragon Gem, but then, they discovered that the fragments of the gem still retained power, so they set out on a journey to gather them all in the hope that they could gather enough power to wipe out the Druun.

They traveled throughout the kingdoms, meeting people in the process.

At first, Raya didn't trust them much because of what happened with Namaari, which Korra and Asami could understand, but thanks to Sisu, she was able to learn to trust them, who became great friends.

In the end, the only remaining piece was held by Fang and while Raya suggested stealing it, Sisu suggested trusting that Namaari would willingly give it up.

They met and tried to talk about it, but an accident caused Namaari to kill Sisu, causing the pair to gasp in horror.

Because of them, the Druun nearly destroyed Kumandra's last safe haven.

Raya told them that, in a burst of rage, she tried to kill Namaari, but in the end, she understood that what happened to Sisu was the fault of both of them.

After that, they decided to go help their friends with the Druun, but they had them surrounded and there seemed to be no escape.

However, Raya decided to take a chance and trust Namaari, as did the others, turning them all to stone.

In her last moments, Namaari put the pieces of the Dragon Gem together and that made not only the Druun disappear, but everyone returned to normal, including the dragons, who, with their power, resurrected Sisu.

"In the end, after all that, the five kingdoms decided to leave it all behind and now, Kumandra was re-formed, as my ba always wanted." said Raya.

"I'm glad it all worked out." Began Korra before turning her gaze to the dragoness. "You really are amazing, Sisu. Not many can come back from the dead like you did."

"What do you want me to tell you? I'm one of a kind." said Sisu with a shrug.

Asami turned her gaze to Namaari, who had her head down, expecting some insulting comment due to her telling of the bad things she did in the past.

"Hey, we're not going to judge you for what you did." said Asami, to Namaari's surprise.

"You won't?" asked Namaari.

"Not at all. In fact, we know someone who did horrible things in the past, but is now trying to make amends." said Asami remembering a certain metalbender.

"Right. It doesn't matter what things you did, but what you can do now. We may have only known you for a short time, but we agree that you are a good person." said Korra with a smile.

Namaari smiled with joy knowing that she wasn't going to be judged despite her story.

Raya and Sisu also smiled at that.

"Wait, do you think the Druun are the threat we're here for?" asked Korra.

"I don't. No Druun have been seen for months now." said Raya.

"Besides, we still have the pieces of the Dragon Gem. Not to mention the dragons are back, so if they were to come back, we would be better prepared." said Sisu.

"Then that threat must be even worse than the Druun and that worries me." said Namaari.

"You know? There's something I keep thinking about." began Asami drawing the attention of the others. "When we left the square, I noticed something in particular about the building that caught fire."

"What was it that you noticed?" asked Raya.

"I'm not sure what it was, but it looked like a symbol." said Asami before picking up a stick to draw something on the ground.

What she drew was a picture of a dragon with three slashes across it.

"It looked like that." said Asami.

"I don't know why, but that symbol gives me a bad feeling." said Sisu.

"Raya, have you ever seen that symbol?" asked Korra.

"No. This is the first time I've seen it." said Raya.

"Then that could mean one thing." began Korra.

"The fire earlier was arson and whoever did it left that symbol." said Namaari coming to the same conclusion as the Avatar.

"But why would they do something like that?" asked Sisu.

"I don't know, but I don't think it's a one-time thing. It's likely that those who did it, will attack again." said Asami.

"If that's true, we should warn ba as soon as possible." said Raya getting up.

"Can we leave it until tomorrow? After everything that happened today, I need a rest." said Sisu with a sleepy face.

"I think you're right. We can talk about this quietly tomorrow." said Korra.

"Out of curiosity, do you have somewhere to spend the night?" asked Namaari.

"No. Unfortunately, we don't have adequate money for this world, so we'll have to camp out tonight." said Asami.

"In that case, I would like to offer you to spend the night in the palace." said Raya.

"Oh, you needn't bother." said Korra.

"It's no bother at all. Consider it a thank you for helping us earlier with the fire." said Raya with a grin.

Korra and Asami looked at each other, debating whether or not to accept the offer.

"That's fine. I guess it's better than sleeping out in the open." said Korra.

"And it would be rude to refuse such an offer." said Asami.

"Oh yeah. We're going to have a great time." said Sisu hugging them from the sides, making them both laugh lightly.

That's when they heard a slight grunt and they all turned their gaze to Korra, who had a slight blush of embarrassment.

"Hehe. Looks like I'm kind of hungry." said Korra.

"Me too. We haven't really been able to eat since we got here." said Asami.

"Why didn't you buy anything?" asked Namaari.

"Because we didn't have the right money?" asked Korra sarcastically.

"Oh, yeah, sorry." said Namaari with a nervous smile.

"For that don't worry either. When we get there, I'll prepare a delicious dish for you." said Raya.

"I assure you that you will love it." said Sisu.

"I'll take your word for it, then." said Korra.

After that, the five of them set off for the palace.

As they walked, Namaari kept thinking about the symbol Asami showed them earlier, the symbol she saw at the crime scene.

Maybe for the others, it was something never seen before, but for her… it was different.

"Where have I seen that symbol before?" asked Namaari mentally having a feeling that there was something behind that symbol.
