This is a retelling of the classic – Sonic OVA in a story format with some touches from me

Deep down in a mountain, a vast building of cold metal that had never seen the light of the sun had nothing but darkness and a heavy silence that had a malice behind its intention
Inside, a faint glow and hum broke through the lifeless complex, more dim lights flickered on and off, but the drone of the machines was quiet.
In the middle of this factory was a blue robot, encased in a clear capsule with lights pulsing to illuminate his golden claw-like hands, his red feet, his yellow chest….
A the sound of foot steps echoed through the building, they were faint due to the size of the building but the figure made its way to a control console, some twenty meters from the robot, he was difficult to make out but his glasses gleamed from the light of the computers.
The figure spoke with a raspy tone
"Finally…. The only thing left to do be done is to capture the essential life data from your counterpart. Then you will be complete my Hyper metal Sonic!
He grinned
"And when you awaken…."
The robot's eye suddenly turned on and glowed red.
"KILL HIM! Ahahahahha!"
The figure chuckled, then turned to his computer, the plan was nearly in place but not yet complete, there will still things to consider, and it was not yet certain the bait would be there to draw in what he needed.
The figure walked off.
The robot's eyes turned off, and the factory once again had a heavy silence.
