"Wow, a lot has changed since I left," said Numbuh One as the gang went to his old house. As they walked down the sidewalk he was taking in all the changes that the neighborhood had gone through.

"Some stayed the same though, like Rainbow Monkeys still being a big toy," said Kuki while pulling one out of nowhere and hugging it.

"I'm glad to hear it," said Numbuh One with a smile.

"Numbuh One, remember what I told you before we left the moon base," said Abby as they approached the front door to his house.

"I know," said Numbuh One before opening the door. At the same time, the smile had faded from his face and a stern expression took its place.

"Who is…?" asked Mrs. Uno as she walked over from the living room but froze when she saw her son standing in the entrance.

"I'm home, mom," said Numbuh One.

"But how, and…," said Mrs. Uno before her son cut her off.

"I promise to fill you in later, but right now I want to see dad," said Numbuh One, taking his glasses off and putting them in his pocket.

"You were told, right?" asked his mother with a worried expression.

"I was, and it made me want to see him even more," said Numbuh One. He was then led to his parents' room where his father was.

"Nigel?" asked Mr. Uno who layed in bed with some medical equipment around him and wires attached to his arms and chest. He also had a nasal cannula on his face going into his nose.

"What are… you doing… here?" he asked, gasping for air interrupting him.

"I'm on a mission, but it can wait for now," said Numbuh One as he moved to stand by him, taking hold of his father's hand as he did.

"After all, I owe you my stories right?" asked Numbuh One who was doing his best to hold his tears back. Meanwhile, at Father's mansion.

"Something is coming," said Father while looking out a window at the sky.

"And it will change everything, I can feel it," he said before the manor was surrounded by KND members.
