As all of that was happening, Abby and the others were waiting outside the Uno Household waiting on Numbuh One.
"This is so unfair," said Wally as he punched a wall.
"Numbuh One sacrificed his life here on Earth in order to go to space and all of that, and now he had to come back to this of all things?" he asked.
"Life didn't stop just because he left, Wally," said Hoagie.
"Still, if it had not been for the Darkness he could have had more time with him, and the same goes for everyone else who joined the Galactic Kids Next Door," said Wally.
"Then we had better make sure to destroy it," said Kuki.
"That way no kid has to ever make this sacrifice again," she said, her grip on the Rainbow Monkey plush in her hands getting tighter as she spoke.
"I wish things were that easy," said Numbuh One as he came outside with his sunglasses back on his face.
"How's your dad?" asked Abby.
"He fell asleep so I decided to leave, now tell me about some of the other changes around here so that I know more of what's going on," said Numbuh One.
"Lizzie got early admission to college," said Wally.
"My sister got married and is expecting her first kid soon," said Abby.
"Tommy and Mushi started their own KND organization with a kid called Dexter and a teenage robot helping them," said Hoagie.
"Okay, I was not expecting that last part," said a surprised Numbuh One.
"Numbuh One, do you read me?" came Numbuh Three Hundred and Sixty Two over coms.
"Numbuh One here, what's wrong?" he asked.
"We have captured Father, your team needs to get back to the moon base at once in order for your plan to continue," said Numbuh Three Hundred and Sixty Two who had been watching the operation on a monitor.
"On our way," said Numbuh One.
"Good thing my car produces its own power," said Hoagie as they rushed to where his car was parked.
