"Come on, Nigel, you don't want to do this," said Abby.
"The lives of countless kids are on the line, I'll do whatever it takes to save all of them," said Numbuh One. A roar then filled the room as the whole base shook.
"You're too late, the time has come," said Father as shadowy tentacles wormed their way into the base.
"No!" said Numbuh One before dropping the weapon to change out to a blaster that had been on his hip. However, a tentacle managed to slap him away before he could shoot and grabbed Father.
"That's it, take it and then end all of these brats!" said Father while all of the black liquid that covered his body was absorbed by the tentacle and he laughed.
"It's… it's all over," said Hoagie as he fell to his knees.
"Childhood is going to end forever," said Kuki. Wally was hugging her and both avoided looking at the Darkness.
"Come on, did you all think I really had no plan in case something like this happened?" asked a new voice that surprised everyone.
"Numbuh One?" asked Numbuh Three Hundred and Sixty Two while turning to see a teenaged version of him standing before her. As he stood there he was fixing his glasses and dusting his shirt off as his clothes had grown with his body.
"What have you done?!" asked Father.
"Galactic KND keeps their agents young by exposing them to a virus that they had created after studying the Darkness for so long," said Numbuh One.
"A virus that can be transferred at will, especially with a punch to the face," he said with a confident smile.
"And then it transferred from Father to…," said Bruce while everyone turned to the Darkness which released a pain filled cry.
"But what will that do to everyone once that thing explodes?" asked Wally. A light then exploded out from the Darkness, causing everyone to close their eyes as it was too bright to continue looking at.
