Fitz belly laughed, he couldn't help but be amused by Jake's audacity. "Your girl? you're worse off than I thought. Jake the poor girl avoids you like the plague and you think she's your girl, little boy?" Fitz scoffed, his laughter echoing through the secluded area.

Enraged by Fitz's mocking tone, Jake lunged forward and took a swing at Fitz. However, Fitz's reflexes were quick as he grabbed Jake's hand mid-swing and with a swift movement, he snapped Jake's wrist causing him to scream in pain.

Fitz now angry towering over jakes hunched figure "That will make you think twice before lunging at me. You may fear your father, but trust me, I am scarier than him on his worst day. Now, go get your hand fixed and if you so much as give a nasty look to olivia I will break something else on you," Fitz said coolly, his eyes piercing into Jake's with a threatening gaze.

Jake, writhing in pain and shock, realized the seriousness of the situation and hastily retreated, clutching his injured hand. Fitz's display of power and dominance left a lasting impression on Jake, making him rethink his reckless actions towards Olivia and his uncle. Fitz stood tall, his authority unquestioned, as he watched Jake scurry away, a lesson learned the hard way.

Fitz walked off with a freshly opened beer in his hand, plucking the bottle cap at Jake walking back to where the rest of the group was. Jake, nursing his injured hand, looked defeated and humiliated as he collected his stuff.

Olivia watched Fitz's retreating figure, noticing the change in his demeanor and the steely resolve in his eyes. She stood, feeling a mix of emotions swirling within her, as Fitz approached her she became nervous seeing him look so angry frightened her.

As he stood close to her but not too close, Fitz lifted Olivia's chin with his finger, his touch gentle yet firm. He whispered softly, "Jake should no longer be a thorn in your side, beautiful. I handled it." Olivia's heart skipped a beat at his words, feeling a rush of happiness and concern. What had he done?

With a wink and a confident stride, Fitz walked off, leaving Olivia in a state of shock and admiration. She stood there, a blush creeping up her cheeks, as she watched him disappear into the distance. Fitz's actions had left her speechless, grateful for his protection and touched by his unexpected show of care and support.

Watching from a distance his posture tense and his expression clouded with anger, chugging his beer in frustration. Olivia could see

the storm brewing within him as he distanced himself from the group.

As he collected his things walking off of the beach Olivia quickly gathered her belongings, not bothering to put on her shorts or t-shirt, as she saw Fitz walking away in the distance.

"Fitz, wait up!" Olivia hollered, her words echoing through the secluded area. She hurried after him, her bare feet padding on the ground as she closed the distance between them.

As she caught up to him, Fitz turned around, surprised to see Olivia following him. His expression softened at the sight of her, a slight smile crossing his features. Olivia stood before him, her eyes searching his face for any sign of irritation with her..

"I...I just wanted to say thank you," Olivia said softly, her voice tinged with gratitude. "For standing up for me back there. It means a lot. I didn't have the courage to stand up to him but..but you did. Thank you"

Fitz's gaze held hers, a silent understanding passing between them. He reached out to gently touch her arm, offering a reassuring squeeze. "It's what I do, Liv. I'll always have your back against creeps or anyone for that matter," he replied, his voice filled with sincerity.

Olivia dropped her bag and towel, her heart pounding in her chest as she quickly closed the distance between her and Fitz. Without hesitation, she reached for his face, running her hands through his curls before leaning in to capture his lips in a smoldering kiss.

Fitz was initially taken aback by her bold move, but the intensity of the moment quickly overtook him, and he returned the kiss with equal passion. Wrapping his hands around her waist, he lifted her slightly off the ground as they lost themselves in the passionate embrace.

Their trance was abruptly interrupted by whistles and loud clapping from onlookers, causing them to break apart. Fitz gently set Olivia back down, both of them catching their breath as the realization of what had just transpired washed over them.

Olivia gasped, her eyes widening in shock as she realized the impulsive nature of her actions. She began apologizing rapidly, her words tumbling out in a flurry of desperation. Fitz silenced her with a firm but gentle touch, pulling her close to him by her waist.

"Calm down, Liv," Fitz said softly, his gaze locking with hers. Olivia's nerves fluttered as she met his intense stare, feeling a rush of heat coursing through her.

"No! That was totally inappropriate, and I'm sorry," Olivia stammered, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

Fitz's grip tightened slightly as he drew her closer to his hard body, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Well, let's be inappropriate," he murmured, his voice low and husky. Olivia's heart raced at his words, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement as she was drawn further into his magnetic presence.

Fitz smiled at Olivia's shy nod, his eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement and affection. "Let's get out of here and get this sand off our skin, huh?" he suggested, extending his hand to her picking up the bag she dropped. Olivia blushed and nodded in agreement, and together they made their way back to the house.

They reached the pool, and without hesitation, Fitz dove in, the cool water enveloping him as he floated in the corner, his eyes fixed on Olivia as she swam gracefully through the water. Lost in admiration, Olivia didn't realize she was near his feet until she pulled him, causing him to go under the water.

Fitz resurfaced, gasping and sputtering, wiping the water from his face as he playfully shook his wet curls back. "Oh, Livvie, you've done it now," With a mischievous grin, he swam towards her like a predator stalking his prey, lifting her petite figure out of the water as she squealed in protest.

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry! Put me down, please!" Olivia pleaded, her laughter infectious as she playfully squirmed in his arms. Fitz smirked, bringing her down just enough to capture her lips in a sweet, lingering kiss before lifting her and playfully dunking her into the water.

Olivia resurfaced, shaking her hair like a wet dog and giving him a playful slap on his chest. "You kiss me, then drown me. How romantic," she said sarcastically, a twinkle of amusement in her eyes. Fitz laughed heartily, the sound echoing through the pool area as they shared a moment of lighthearted playfulness and affection.

Olivia stood before Fitz in the corner of the pool, her heart fluttering at his touch as he moved her wet hair behind her ears. "Your hair is so long and beautiful. Just like you," Fitz said softly, his eyes sincere as he gazed at her.

She shyly looked down into the water, unsure of how to respond. This was the first time a man had complimented anything other than her lips on her body. "Thank you," Olivia finally managed, mustering up a small smile. "Your hair isn't too bad either. A bit unruly, but I like it."

Fitz chuckled at her response, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "And I like you," he said, lifting her chin meeting her gaze with a tender intensity. Sighing "I'm not a sleazy guy. I know my nephew was infatuated with you, but I like you, just for you. You're smart, you're funny, and kind. I know we are just getting to know each other, but if you allow me, I'll show you how a beautiful woman like yourself is supposed to be treated and protected."

Olivia felt a wave of emotions wash over her at Fitz's words. His sincerity and genuine admiration touched her deeply shes never had this before. If she jumps into something with him will she mess things up and ruin him? she couldn't help but feel a sense of vulnerability and trust in his presence. She looked up at him, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of happiness and uncertainty.

"Thank you, Fitz. That means a lot to me," Olivia said softly, her voice filled with emotion. "I...I'd like that. To get to know you better, I mean. And to see where this goes. Im kind of new to the whole dating seriously thing"

Fitz smiled, a glint of happiness in his eyes as he reached out to take her hand and kiss her wet palm and the outside of her hand , a silent promise of the journey they were about to be on together. Olivia felt a sense of excitement and anticipation bubbling within her, ready to explore the new connection that had blossomed between them.

"Are you hungry?" Fitz asked, breaking the moment of quiet intimacy between them. Olivia's stomach rumbled at the mention of food, and she couldn't help but let out an enthusiastic, "God, yes!"

Fitz chuckled at her response, the sound reverberating through the pool area as he pushed himself out of the water. "I'll throw something on the grill for everybody," he said with a grin, his eyes sparkling with warmth and a hint of mischief.

He made his way into the house, the sound of his wet footsteps echoing in the hallway as he grabbed various meats and rolls from the fridge and pantry. With skilled hands, he seasoned the meat and prepared everything for the grill, the tantalizing aroma of barbecue filling the air.

Fitz emerged from the house, carrying a tray of marinated meats and a basket of rolls. He set up the grill, expertly arranging the food for cooking, before turning his attention to the Bluetooth speaker nearby. He connected his phone, and soon, the sounds of upbeat music filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere around them.

As the food sizzled on the grill and the music played in the background, Fitz glanced over at Olivia, a smile playing on his lips. The moment was perfect, a blend of good company, delicious food, and the promise of more shared moments to come. Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her as she watched Fitz move with ease and confidence, his presence grounding her in the present moment.

An hour later, as the sun began to set and everyone was well fed Fitz's phone rang, breaking the peaceful atmosphere. Sighing, he glanced at the caller ID and saw his sister's name flashing on the screen. He walked into the house and answered the call.

"Hi, Angelica, how are you?" Fitz greeted, trying to keep his tone casual.

His sister's voice came through the line, sharp and accusatory. "Shut up and explain to me why my son has a broken wrist," she demanded, her tone leaving no room for excuses.

Fitz couldn't help but chuckle at her directness, the sound of his laughter echoing through the pool area, catching the attention of everyone outside. "Oh, Angelica, you always go straight to the point, don't you?" he teased, causing a few heads to turn in surprise.

"He tells me you are trying to woo his girlfriend," Angelica continued, her voice tinged with suspicion.

Fitz's laughter grew louder, a hint of incredulity in his tone. "Woo his girlfriend? The girl wasn't even his friend. He was literally obsessed with her, and it almost became dangerous, so I put a stop to it," Fitz explained, his voice firm and resolute. "I wasn't going to allow that to happen on my watch. Isn't that why you begged me to take time off from my busy life to babysit your grown baby?"

There was a moment of stunned silence on the other end of the line before Angelica spoke again, her voice filled with frustration. "If you don't like the way I handle situations, call your ex-husband and tell him to handle his son," Fitz retorted, his words cutting through the air. "But I bet you won't do that because we both know he will be soft on Jake if you beg him the right way and let him run amuck."

Fitz's words were met with a tense pause, the weight of his words hanging in the air. He knew that his actions might not sit well with his sister, but he was determined to stand his ground and protect those he cared about, no matter the consequences.

Angelica was truly stunned by Fitz's boldness, her voice cracking as she tried to regain control of the conversation. "Bringing Andrew up was unnecessary Fitzgerald. You wouldn't like me bringing up Elizabeth would you?," she finally managed to say, her tone a mixture of frustration and surprise.

Fitz remained resolute, his voice firm as he responded, "Call a spade a spade, Angelica. Either you call him and tell him to get some sense into his damn son, or let me do what you asked me to do. Don't call me accusing me of anything without knowing the facts." His words carried a weight of finality, a clear line drawn in the sand.

There was a tense silence on the line, the air heavy with unspoken tension. Fitz could sense his sister's hesitation, the struggle between her loyalty to her son and her need for someone to set things right. Finally, he spoke again, his voice soft.

"I love you Angelica," Fitz said, the words filled with a mix of love and understanding. And with that, he hung up the phone, the line going silent as he ended the conversation.

As the evening wore on, Olivia found herself feeling a little lightheaded from the drinks she had indulged in. She made her way into the house, a slight sway in her step as she searched for Fitz. In the dimly lit room, she found him sitting on the couch in his room , lost in his thoughts drinking a glass of scotch

Without hesitation, Olivia straddled him, her movements slightly unsteady as she settled on his lap rocking into his hardened dick. Fitz looked up in surprise, his expression a mix of concern and affection as he saw her state. He gently rubbed her lower back, his touch comforting and grounding.

"I want you," Olivia whispered in his ear biting the lobe earning herself a groan from him, her voice soft and filled with desire as she leaned in to kiss him. Fitz felt a surge of longing, but he knew that Olivia's current state was not the right time for such intimacy.

He pulled away gently, his hands cupping her face as he met her gaze. "Not while you're drunk, Liv. I'm sorry, baby," he said, his voice filled with seriousness and a hint of sadness. He knew that consent and clear communication were paramount, especially in moments of vulnerability like this.

Olivia's eyes widened in understanding, a mix of embarrassment and disappointment washing over her. She realized that she had let her hormones and the alcohol get the best of her, and she respected Fitz for recognizing the situation and putting her well-being first.

With a sigh, Olivia nodded, She leaned in to rest her head against Fitz's chest, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath her ear. In that moment of quiet intimacy, she knew that she was safe and cared for, even in her most vulnerable moments. And as the night stretched on, Olivia drifted off to sleep in Fitz's arms.

After laying her down in bed he went to take a cold shower to get his raging erection to go down.

After gently helping Olivia settle into a peaceful slumber, Fitz quietly excused himself, feeling the need to clear his mind and refresh himself. He made his way to the bathroom, the warmth of the water cascading over him as he took a long, soothing shower, letting the steam wash away the tension of the evening.

As he emerged from the bathroom, Fitz took his time with his skincare routine, the familiar ritual a grounding force in the midst of the emotional whirlwind of the night. He returned to the room, feeling refreshed and composed, dressed in comfortable basketball shorts and a soft t-shirt.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Fitz watched Olivia sleeping soundly, her features softened in the glow of the moonlight filtering through the window. A surge of protectiveness and affection swelled within him, and without disturbing her, he leaned down to press a gentle kiss to her forehead, a silent promise of his care and devotion.

Quietly, he retrieved a pillow and an extra blanket from his closet, arranging them on his reclining chair. With a last glance at Olivia, Fitz settled into the chair, the soft fabric enveloping him as he closed his eyes, allowing himself to drift into a peaceful sleep.

Throughout the night, as the room fell into a hushed stillness, Fitz kept a watchful eye on Olivia, his presence a silent guardian in the darkness.

The first light of dawn crept through the window, Olivia slowly stirred from her sleep. As she blinked her eyes open, she noticed Fitz laying on the reclining chair across from the bed, a pang of longing tugging at her heart.

"Why are you so far away?" Olivia whined, her voice laced with a hint of disappointment as she pat the empty space on the bed beside her, silently urging Fitz to join her.

Fitz hesitated for a moment, his gaze soft as he looked at Olivia, his concern evident in his eyes. "After what you've been through with the stalker, I didn't want to startle you with my arms being wrapped around you while you're drunk..I didn't want you to think we..I..I didn't want you to think I took advantage," he explained, his voice gentle and reassuring.

Understanding dawned on Olivia's features as she processed Fitz's thoughtful words. She appreciated his consideration and care, knowing that he had her best interests at heart. With a warm smile, she patted the bed again, a silent invitation for him to come closer.

Fitz couldn't resist the invitation, a soft smile playing on his lips as he rose from the chair and made his way to the bed. He settled in beside Olivia, the warmth of her presence comforting and familiar. As she nestled against him, he wrapped his arms around her kissing her nose then her lips.

Olivia sighed contentedly against his lips , feeling the weight of the world lift off her shoulders in Fitz's embrace. She closed her eyes, savoring the moment of peace and closeness, grateful for the bond that had formed between them in the midst of the drama with Jake.

Together, they lay in the quiet of the morning, the world outside awakening to a new day. And as they basked in the warmth of each other's presence Until They are startled by Someone banging on Fitz's bedroom door
