The heroes stared at the newcomer, those that had gone after Tattletell on edge, as-

Ah, ah, hold it! I've got this.

Call me Deadcool! It rhymes with 'no school', 'I rule', 'ain't no fool' and 'GO BEYOND! PLUS ULTRA-ool'. I come from the good ol' US of A, and I'm a Super Legendary Hero among the Charming Tribe! Moving on!

So, I'm on a mission to find the secret of the Legend Page in order to save the world and stuff, when I happen to overhear Mr. Sparkles over there spilling his guts out about how he's working for the baddest of the bad: All for One. So I ask myself "Deadcool, you handsome devil, what kind of Super Legendary Hero would you be if you didn't do anything about this?" Luckily, I just happened to carry a Yo-Kai phone for just such an emergency. Got the whole thing on video, and one post on Twitter will have it trending across the Hero Universe! Maybe I'll hit the big one M milestone!

But then my shoulder angel (Yes, Yo-kai have those, don't question it) started on this spiel about "Oh Mr. Deadcool, did you not see those tears, he deserves a chance, wah, wah" and I'm like "Ah, fine, whatever." So, here's the deal:

I'm gonna graciously invite these fine gals and guys to join me on my quest to unlock the Legend Page. If Frenchie can prove that he has the heart of a hero, or soul, or something like that, I'll delete the video and keep his secret. If they fail, then he gets famous on the Internet. They get medals, Little Star gets redemption, and I get the satisfaction of saving the world! Win-Win-Win all around!

Well, I think that's enough of a preamble. We now return you fine readers to 'The Adventures of Deadcool and his Amazing Friends!" Starring Deadcool, Super Legendary Hero Yo-Kai!

"You've got to be kidding, a Yo-kai version of Deadpool?" Al sweatdropped.

"For better or for worse… Mostly for worse." David said with a tic mark on his head before it fizzled out. "But…more importantly… Aoyama, is what he said true?"

"...Unfortunately, yes. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you all sooner. I thought that if I did… I… I would've been thrown out of the group." Aoyama said.

"Thrown out? Why would you think that? You do know what a fraction of our group is made up of, right?" David asked. "I mean, sure, you're a mole, but at the Provisional Hero License Exam, I told Hope that I didn't regret taking you along, and to this day, I still don't. Because if I did regret it, it would mean the time we spent together was a lie."

"Plus, if you really did go all in on it, you would've left us at the Universal Villains' mercy at several opportunities." Himeno said.

"Oh….everyone…" Aoyama said, almost ready to burst into tears.

"Yeah yeah, real beautiful stuff. But I doubt the rest of the Hero Universe is gonna be as sappy as you guys." Deadcool said.

"All the more reason to keep this under wraps then. If anyone is gonna take the fall for this, it's gonna be me. He is my responsibility, after all." David said.

"Give me that." Sunset said as she took the page from Deadcool. "What is this? Hand drawn?"

"Can't blame the creators for being secretive and rushed." Deadcool shrugged. "If you need a translation, then here's the cliff notes: there are six Yo-kai that hold the secrets of the Legend Page. We gotta earn their medals to unlock it fully."

"Not really how this works. But…if anything…" Sunset said. "Okay…the six he says he needs for his Legend Page are…The Freezing Yo-kai, Blizzaria. The Insomnia Yo-kai Insomni. The Smoke Yo-kai Smogmella. The Mermaid Yo-kai Mermadonna. The Youthful Yo-kai Everfore and the Wicked Tribe Yo-kai Unkaind."

"Those are all girls. Why do I get the feeling he's just using us to set up a harem?" David asked.

"Yeah, I had that idea too…" Mark sweatdropped. "But…he's got that video. We'll have to go along with this." he said before he leaned towards David. "(Don't worry, this'll probably blow up in his face.)" he whispered.

"(I hope it does. If they don't grind him to dust, I will.)" David whispered back. "(Aoyama's already got a lot of blackmail baggage to deal with, I'm not letting this guy pile it up any further.)"

"Alright, who's ready to save the world?" Deadcool asked, getting half-hearted replies. "Great, wonderful. Love the enthusiasm. Let's roll!"

"This is going to be one of those days, isn't it?" Scarlet asked.

"Let's just get this over with." Simon said.

Idol Universe, Night Club 24…

Inside of this single club, some of the group had split up and scooped out the scene.

"A night is a perfect spot for…her!" Twilight said, pointing to a one-eyed female Yo-kai with pointed white hair and a ghostly tail.

Insomni

Eerie Tribe

"So that's the Yo-kai that causes insomnia?" Himiko asked.

"Yep. That's Insomni." Lucy said.

"Glad Meitenkun isn't here." Rebecca said.

"All of these people seem to be under her effect." Bow said.

"Glad you all like it." Insomni said, surprising the group. "So how about it? Wanna stay awake all night and day?" she asked.

"As exciting as that would be, we actually came to ask you something." Rebecca said. "See there's this guy and…"

"Oh…a secret admirer huh? Is he cute?" Insomni asked.

"...From a certain point of view, maybe…" Mark said, stifling a growl.

"But we need your medal." Lucy said.

"Okay but only if I get to cuddle with these two." Insomni said holding the two Happy's.

"Aye…" the two Happy's said.

"Then it's a deal." Insomni said as she handed off her medal to them.

Steam Universe, Smog City…

"Well…it's just another of those days isn't it?" a voice said as a woman made of smoke floated in the air with a few smaller clouds floating beside her.

Smogmella

Smogling

Classic Yo-kai

Mysterious Tribe

As she and the Smogling floated there, she soon took notice of a small ship floating beside her.

"Hey, Smogmella. Hey." Hope said.

"Hmm? Oh, I remember you. You're that human that helped to save me." Smogmella said.

"Yep. That's me." Hope said.

"We wanted to ask you something." Gray said.

"I'm flattered but neither of you are my type." Smogmella said.

"Uh…not that. Well actually that, but for someone else." Gray said.

"Is that a fact?" Smogmella asked. "Hopefully he likes little clouds."

"Uh…he might?" Hope shrugged as she handed him her's and Smogling's medals. "Thanks. Say, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find Unkaind, would you?"

"Why do you ask?" Smogling asked.

"Oh, uh…just making sure she's not causing trouble again." Hope answered.

"Hmm…if you must know, there is a place she frequents." Smogmella said as she gave him an address.

Tokyo, Shopping Center, Ginza, Magical Girl Universe…

In this part of the Magical Girl universe, a small freezing wind was blowing through the streets as three ladies floated down its streets.

"This is without a doubt…the best…shopping trip…ever!" spoke a woman with blue hair in a kimono with a glacier-carved comb.

Blizzaria

Charming Tribe

"Yes. I can never do this back home with my father keeping watch." spoke a woman who looked like Blizzaria except with black hair and a black and grey kimono.

Damona

Charming Tribe

"And the best part is…we do this as the best of friends." said another look-alike albeit this one with red and pink hair, a red kimono, and two camellia flowers in her hair.

Camellia

Brave Tribe

"Huh…I thought she hated Camellia. Guess they made up and became friends." Nami said.

"Hope that means she's easy to talk to." Mark said, before he got an idea. "Actually, David. Since you have an affinity with Yuki-onna, maybe she'll be more receptive to you?"

"Well… Maybe." David said.

"Eh, couldn't hurt." Mark said as he and David walked over to the three Yo-kai. "Hi there. Do you three have a minute?"

"Who are…wait…is..David? David Ishihara?" Blizzaria asked.

"Hi there, Blizzaria. Long time, no see." David said.

"Yeah. Sorry I was so quiet for a while but with Lord Enma and all the world shuffling and restructuring, it was hard to just come back to you guys." Blizzaria said.

"But we were able to get through it by our bond of lady friendship." Camellia said.

"Yes, without a doubt." Damona said.

'So you three wouldn't mind being our friends again?" David asked.

"Oh…of course not. Oh but…since we're being friends, would you mind taking on a bit of a request?" Blizzaria asked.

"A request? Sure, we would be happy to." David said.

"You don't have to do it now but when you have time." Blizzaria said as she showed a photo of a small girl in a blue cloak. "This is Frostina. Known in your country as Yuki-onna."

"Hmm…she's cute. Something up?" David asked.

The three female Yo-kai looked at each other nervously.

"Well…since the Yo-kai started expanding their turf, a few of them have started to…go missing. She's one of them." Blizzaria said.

"Ah, I get it now. You want us to go look for her, right?" David asked.

"When you have time." Blizzaria said. "I just couldn't bare anything happening to her."

"You've got yourself a deal." Mark agreed.

"Thank you." Blizzaria said as the three offered up their medals.

"So have other Yo-kai gone missing too?" Mark asked.

"Hmm…actually…a few of the Classic Yo-kai have been going missing. So have some Kappa Yo-kai as well." Damona said. "And a few Legendaries…all kinds of Yo-kai, really."

"And it started the same time this mass event started right?" Mark asked.

"Actually…yes." Damona said.

"Yeah…either it's all a massive coincidence, or…somebody's grasped an opportunity." Mark wondered aloud. "We'll have to look into this as we go along."

In a beauty salon…

"Ah….my skin…" one woman said as a few of the patrons' skin looked old and wrinkled as a woman in a cloak with a staff and wrinkly skin drained their youth.

Grumples

Eerie Tribe

"Is that Everfore?" Glimmer asked.

"No. Grumples. Everfore must have lost her youthful glow." Robin said.

"According to this info, Grumples and Everfore are the same Yokai. Everfore just needs a constant supply of youthful energy or something else to stay in her natural form, or else she turns into Grumples if she's without it for too long." Entrapta said. "Grumples is why most objects and people sometimes turn all wrinkly."

"So, we just need something other than human life force to turn Grumples back into Everfore?" Glimmer asked.

"We're going to need a LOT of beauty products." Hagakure said.

"Our time has come." Rarity said.

"Shall we, darlings?" Rarity-2 asked.

The group then grabbed the wrinkled old Yo-kai as they threw her into a salon chair. Hagakure then blasted Grumples in the face with warm water. "We need this salon's most revitalizing shampoo, stat!"

"Here we are!" Rarity-2, levitating said shampoo into Invisible Girl's open hand. Hagakure then sprayed it into Grumples' face, the shampoo bubbling up and clouding her whole body.

"Are you guys sure this will work?" Glimmer asked as she teleported to different sides of Grumples as she scrubbed her face.

"Please. We are professionals." Rarity said as she did Grumples nails.

"We can handle it." Hagakure said.

The girls worked hard before the wrinkled old Yo-kai was replaced with the youthful vision of beauty in a red kimono and styled up hair.

Everfore

Eerie Tribe

"I'm me again! Thank you so much, ladies. I suppose I didn't need to steal life essence from humans after all." Everfore said. "Admittedly, I was desperate. I ran out of Toiletta's patented cream and had lost my youth."

"Not to worry, we've all had those moments," Rarity-2 assured. "Now that you are yourself again, we need you to help us with an… interesting man." she gritted her teeth at the last part.

"Oh…in that case, I'm happy to oblige." she said, offering up her medal.

"And don't worry. We'll make sure you'll never need to absorb youth to maintain yourself again." Rarity said.

The Ocean Universe, Tropicana Island…

"Who would've thought we'd be back here again, right? Last time we came here, we were taking care of Horde Prime." Mermista said.

"And this is supposedly where Mermadonna was last spotted." Juvia said.

"I know I'd want to come here if I was her." Mermista said. "Perfect place for a Mermaid to take a vacation."

"Let's just hope things go smoothly with her compared to the last time we saw her. A while back, when we were dealing with Unalaq, she nearly drowned us in the Sunny with a gigantic tidal wave." Leia said.

"Uh…think she's having her own troubles." Lapis said, spotting two mermaid Yo-kai being flung onto the beach. One with yellow scales and another with blue.

Mermadonna

Mermother

Classic Yo-kai

Slippery Tribe

"That doesn't look good…" Mermista said as the group headed down to the beach. "Is there a problem here?" she asked the two mermaids.

"Yes…Mermaidyn…" Mermadonna said.

"Yarharhar! I've gone and snagged me a bride!" a voice laughed as a large pirate Yo-kai with a wheel held a small mermaid with red scales.

Mermaidyn

Classic Yo-kai

Slippery Tribe

Cap'n Crash

Boss Yo-kai

Tough Tribe

"Oh no, not him again…" Sakura said.

"You know that guy?" Mermista asked.

"He gave us trouble a while back," Sakura said. "His name is Cap'n Crash, a boss yokai from the Tough Tribe. Anything that he targets, while he spins his wheel, is directed into making a bad decision that they immediately regret. And as you can see, he has quite the infatuation for Mermaydin."

"That's one pirate I don't want anybody marrying. Guess we'd better go save her." Mermista said.

"Obviously. But Sakura said that his biggest danger is that wheel he's got." Lapis said.

"He can't get us both. You go high. I'll go low." Mermista said.

"Yar har…huh?" Cap'n Crash said seeing the group. "Come to take my bride have ye? Not without a fight!" he said, sticking his wheel into the ground as he started spinning it.

Pirate Yo-Kai - Cap'n Crash

"Careful! We don't know who he's inspiriting!" Sakura said.

"Oh…I got a good one." Cap'n Crash said as he spun the wheel as Sakura turned around with sword in hand. "Let's make some sashimi!" he laughed.

Against her will, Sakura slashed at Mermista with her sword.

"Sorry, Mermista!" Sakura said.

"Don't apologize! Focus on missing!" Mermista replied as she leapt into the water to avoid Sakura's blade.

"We don't have time to deal with another idiot…" Lapis said as she formed a hand out of the incoming tide and grabbed Cap'n Crash's wheel.

"Oi! That ain't ye helm!" Crash yelled as he struggled against the hand, distracting him from the group for a moment.

"Mermista, pull a Sea-Ra!" Leia called out.

Mermista then blasted out of the water with a huge wave aimed right at Cap'n Crash while he was distracted.

"Hey Cap'n! Ever see a mermaid do this?!" Mermista asked as she sent it crashing down on him, the Boss Yo-kai noticing.

"Oh, fishsticks!" he said before he was slammed with tons of seawater to the face, sending him flying away and letting go of Mermaidyn.

"I'm free!" Mermaidyn called out with glee as the other two mermaids caught her.

"Thank you, so much." Mermother said.

"We owe you all for this." Mermadonna said.

"Well…being our friends would work." Mermista said as the three mermaid Yo-kai nodded.

Darkness Universe, the Dark Nest Bar…

"And then…I told them I was done with her." a woman said. She was paled skin with purple robes.

Unkaind

Wicked Tribe

"Ah. I heard the Wicked Tribe was in disarray." spoke a woman next to her. This one being a white humanoid with rabbit ears.

Snow Spect-Hare

Merican Yo-kai

Mysterious Tribe

"Yeah. They have been ever since rumors of evil Yo-kai started to spread." another rabbit Yo-kai said, this one having brown skin.

Agent Spect-Hare

Merican Yo-kai

Mysterious Tribe

"Wow..Tho much Thuff going on." said a small mole rat like Yo-kai.

Molar Petite

Charming Tribe

"Yes…but I'm so glad to be done with those…" Unkaind said about to take another drink before seeing the heroes entering. "You gotta be kidding me."

"Uh… heya, Unkaind. Long time, right?" Gemini asked. "Listen, I know we have a lotta bad history, but we're on a little Night Parade reunion quest, and well, y'see…. We kinda want you and the other members of the Wicked Tribe back in the fold."

"Why would I ever want to do that? In case you forgot, you all came at us when Dame Dedtime tried to take over the Human Realm." Unkaind said.

"Don't place the blame on us! Dedtime was the one threatening the multiverse by trying to alter history, we were just doing our job." Hiyoko said.

"You know she makes a really good point." Snow Spect-Hare said.

"Hmm…." Unkaind murmured. "Fortunately, you caught me at a good time. I was in the middle of contemplating my employment." she said. "Especially after Dame Dedtime returned and said she wanted nothing to do with any of us."

"Wait…what?" Hope said.

"You heard me. Dame Dedtime…has returned." Unkaind said.

"Well that's gonna be a headache to deal with. Wait…why didn't she ask any of the Wicked Tribe to help her?" Hope asked.

"We offered but…all she said was…" Unkaind said.

"I don't need any of you anymore. I've gone…and made much stronger allies."

"That's what she said, so we all split up to find our own path in evil and wickedness." Unkaind said.

"Don't suppose she told you who she's in cahoots with before giving you the boot?" Gemini asked.

"You really think I'd be drinking here if I knew, you stupid cowgirl?!" Unkaind said in anger.

"Yikes, who crawled under her bed?" Catra said.

"She's just a manifestation of Dame Dedtimes's frustration. All the members of the Wicked Tribe were born from her negative emotions." Hope said.

"Just shut up!" Unkaind yelled about to throw her glass before her arm was caught.

"Easy there. You said you were looking for employment. Why not go with them?" Snow suggested.

"You mean besides the fact that they killed us before and are probably the reason Dame Dedtime thinks we're too weak to serve her?" Unkaind replied with no small amount of sarcasm.

Carmine, who had been silent the whole time, finally spoke up. "...What about payback? Is that good enough for you?" she asked.

Unkaind looked at the Pokémon Trainer, an eyebrow raised. "What do you mean?"

"Look, this…Dam Daytime lady abandoned you for stronger people." Carmine said. "You know what the best way to prove her wrong is? Working with us and beating her and her new friends down! I've been with these guys for a few months, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that they tend to run into action wherever they go. I'd bet all the Pokébucks I've got that we'll run into this lady sooner or later. And then that's when you go, POW! Right in her face!" she explained, punching a hole in the wall in her excitement.

"You're paying for that." the bartender noted.

"Whoops." Carmine smiled.

"All right…" Unkaind said. "I'll do it. I'll be your little friend."

"Nice work, Carmine!" Gemini said.

"Thanks. Frustration is kinda my thing too. I gotta own that image." Carmine said.

"Hey Snow, why don't we jump on board too?" Agent Spect-hare asked.

"I don't see why not." Snow Spect-hare said.

"Oh, me too!" Molar Petite called out.

"Well, that's everybody that Deadcool wanted," Hiyoko said as she collected the four medals. "Can't believe we had to run errands for that one-eyed jerk."

"Did you just say Deadcool?" Agent Spect-Hare asked. "One eye, yellow, has a sword, really obnoxious?"

"Actually, he was more orange, but that's the guy alright." Carmine confirmed.

"Let me guess….he asked you to gather Yo-kai medals to complete his Legend Page, right?" Agent Spect-hare said.

"Yeah, and if we didn't…wait how do you…" Gemini said.

"I may not look like it but I'm a Hero Yo-kai too. That 'Legend Page' he has is a fake. He just uses that stuff to make it look like he's all powerful and legendary when he's really not. And he hits on Yo-kai women all the time." Agent Spect-hare said.

"Aw, man! He really was trying to assemble his own Yo-kai Harem!" Hiyoko said.

"And he made us his errand group to do it!" Carmine said, shaking her fists. "Ooh, that little punk! When we get back, I'm gonna-!"

"Wait…no." Unkaind said, getting the group's attention. "I have a better idea. What other Female Yo-kai did he want for his 'Legend'?"

"Insomni, Smogmella, Blizzaria, Everfore and Mermadonna." Gemini answered.

"Oh, is that right?" Unkaind asked, grinning wickedly. "Yes, that'll work perfectly. So, here's what you'll do…"

Later, all the groups returned to the Galaxy King, Deadcool waiting for them.

"So, you got all the Yo-Kai? What am I saying, of course you did, you had the whole chapter to do it!" Deadcool said. "Good jobs, all around! I think you all deserve a reward: a new phone!" he said as he pulled his Yo-kai phone out and tossed it into Aoyama's hands. "Plus, a free, soon to be deleted video in the package deal!"

"Not so fast. You want your time with the ladies so…how about we give it to ya?" Sunset asked as she pulled out all six medals.

"Uh…you know, you really shouldn't summon them all at once. If the secrets are unsealed all at once, it might cause an explosion." Deadcool said.

"Aw, but why not? We went through all this trouble to assemble them and now you're getting cold feet? Hmph… I guess good wingmen really ARE hard to find." David said, feigning offense.

"Sunset, if you would?" Mark asked with a glint in his eye.

"With pleasure." Sunset replied as she placed all six of the medals into her watch, summoning the six female Yo-kai.

"Are we seriously rehashing my side-quest ending from Yo-Kai Watch 3?! Just let me have one win, dang it!" Deadcool complained to the writers. The writers did not care.

All six were immediately summoned in the same place as Deadcool looked around in worry.

"So…you like to play games with women, huh?" Blizzaria asked.

The group simply watched as the six Yo-kai women started to furiously beat up the self proclaimed hero Yo-kai.

"Oh, I am SO posting this online the first opportunity I get." David said as he started recording.

"Popcorn, Yuga?" Emo asked, offering him a bag.

"...Just this once, I believe I will indulge." Aoyama said as he watched Deadcool's punishment.

One six-fold punishment later…

And thus, our Legendary Hero learned once again the burdens of heroism. It would be a lesson that-

"Leave." Mark interrupted Deadcool's monologue.

"I'd listen to him, man. Pretty much everyone here has half a mind to grind you into a pile of dust right now." David said.

"Ugh…fine…I…need to rest anyway…." Deadcool said before passing out as he vanished, leaving his medal behind.

"...Are you sure you want that one?" Twilight asked Sunset.

"I'll keep it…but…I don't think I'll be summoning him anytime soon." Sunset said.

"Please don't." most of the group said.

"I'm sorry my secret put all of you through this." Aoyama said.

"Hey, that's what friends are for, right?" Zelos asked. "If you want to make it up to us, then keep fighting alongside us until we make things right. Those were the words Lloyd told me when I was the mole in our adventure."

"Ah yes, you do have that experience, don't you?" Aoyama recalled.

"Yeah. Kind of surprised they were even speaking to me after that, to be honest." Zelos said.

"You two are quite alike in quite a lot of ways. Stuck in your own heads a lot of the time, but…still good people when it comes down to it." Sheena said.

"And this trek wasn't a total waste," Sunset said. "We actually learned a lot of valuable info."

"Not to mention we got started on a few more actual Legend Pages. Check this out." Glimmer said. Three pages in the Medallium had started to be filled up. "We have one medal apiece to summon three Legendary Yokai. Slurpent, Princess Pearl, and Re-Q-Perate. Plus we're halfway through Dandoodle's page to get his medal."

"While that is good, that wasn't what I was talking about." Sunset said. "The disappearing Yo-kai and the revival of Dame Dedtime. It may seem strange but…I think it's all connected in some way."

"You're not the only one." Mark agreed. "It all fits together just a bit too well. Someone's taking advantage of all this Yo-kai activity to get their hands on some. We know Gilgaros and Frostina are a few of the victims. We know Dame Deadtime's working with them. So, what does that tell us?"

"That whoever it is might have the means to defeat Legendary Yo-kai, but aren't limiting themselves to just Legendaries. It's safe to assume that any Yo-kai could be a potential target." Bardock said.

"Not much to go on…we'll have to keep our eyes and ears open for any clues." Mark mused.

"Yeah…but…whoever is doing this…their power has to be equal or greater…to Enma." Sunset said.

"That's a scary thought. Someone even stronger than Enma?" Hope asked.

"We'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it. For now, Sunset, any ideas on where to go next?" Penny asked.

"Hmm…" Sunset pondered. "Next hunt. One would be to see if there are any disturbances from other worlds." she said checking online. "Huh? It seems there's a huge heatwave in one world…in the Frost Universe?"

"Well, that's not normal." Sans remarked. "Things are getting a little heated over there, huh?"

"...Okay, that was just bad." Sunset said.

"A heatwave in someplace cold?" Blizzaria asked. "I think I might know who's behind that."

"Yeah…it could only be…" Sunset said as four figures came into her mind. "The Hot Clan."
