May 21: What's your favorite season? Write a story about it!

Thanks to every one who is reading this story! Comment Answers: Sorry I forgot to do this last chapter.

AmberRising's Comment on Chapter 5: Thanks for the comment. I actually made myself want apple pie as well. I have had Angel Food Cake, but I don't know if I ever had home made Angel Food Cake, and home made is by far better than anything else. Btw I really like you story for the food prompt.

AmberRising's last comment: Glad you liked it! The end notes are fun to write but they can be hard as well.

Lucy walked through the forest with Anmih trailing behind her, acting as her guard. The cool, fresh air blew across her face, andbreathing deeply, she took in the smells. The Valiant Queenstopped walking, holding out her arms as she twirled, laughing in delight. Finally she dropped to the ground, leaning against a tree

The Queen looked up at Anmih, who was standing above her, keeping watch andgazing around them. "Can you tell me what a Calormen autumn is like?"

The older boy glanced up at the trees. "Nothing like this; it is always dry and hot." He looked down at her, then away. "There are a few trees, but they are always green, made especially for a hot land, and they never change colours like here."

Lucy tiltedher head back and stared up at the giant trees. The colours were vibrant, blending together in reds, yellows, andgolds. She tried to imagine never seeing a proper autumn with the colorful leaves, but couldn't.She suddenlylooked up at the guard and smiled.

"Anmih why don't you sit down? I feel like a fool sitting here with you standing over me."

Anmih shook his head "I can't, "He said looking down at her. "If you want privacy, I can move further away."

Lucy sighed. "No, I was just wanted you to be comfortable. I was saying I felt like a fool because you are standing here guarding me, being uncomfortable as I sit comfortably. " As Anmih nodded in understanding but made no moveto sit down, the young Queen sighed again.

"I know you have your job to do. Thank you for doing it so well." She lifted her head again, closing her eyes as a breeze blewover her.
