So here we finally get somewhere on tackling the main issue of the plot stopping the 'Devourer' from coming to Dardunah

Leo and Challa traveled through the sewers to get back to the Taskara camp. Challa knew she no longer had to fear the filth of the sewers now that she knew what made things 'unclean' the tiny little creatures called germs unable to be seen by the naked eye, but these were the things that caused sickness when being around things like dung and corpses, and the discovery of these creatures and thus being able to wash them off with hot water and anti-bacterial soap was why in America sewer workers could be normal members of society and not relegated to outcasts, Challa knew there was a potential this knowledge could eliminate the need for the Outcaste to be relegated to doing the jobs no other Janah wanted the trouble was, too many Janah had too much invested interest in the caste system, not only because of the religion saying it was a decree from the Devah but because almost all the true Caste but particularly the higher castes had so much interests in the power they got from the caste system that she knew those Devah would fight tooth and claw to keep any disruption from the caste system from taking place...Messing around too much is how her Father got his family in this postion where they were now all Outcaste…

When they finally got back to the camp they told everyone what had happened…

Raph shook his head "Doesn't seem like that disguise spell was a good one if one little tear good make it go POOF!"

Leo knowing someone might take offense at this insult to the 'Laughing Dream's' magic abilities quickly said "It is nobody's fault! This was something that had never been attempted before disguising a Non-Janah as a Janah...You can't account for everything…"

"Besides…" Piangh said as she came forward "You two did what you needed to do...You caused enough of a distraction that I was able to sneak into the palace's library and get this…"

She held up an enormous book!

Challa's jaw dropped "You mean all we were meant to be was a distraction?! I wasn't supposed to warn the Isvar he was being targeted by the Devourer?!"

"Unfortunately yes…" Piangh said "...We had to Chanchalla you know you're not good at deception…"

"What is that?" Don asked

"It is an ancient book of spells…" Piangh said "...Some say that in this book are spells that go back to the time the Devah walked the Earth...That Great Mother and Father gave to them in case of...A worst case scenario…"

So a short little chapter but it was all I good think of I filled it out with Challa's growing thoughts about how the caste system really is unfair
