A/N While I am ending A Grimm Sunnydale here, it's only because it's already at 126 chapters plus this epilogue. It doesn't mean that I'm done with this Grimm au though. I'm going to start a new story that will cover the next two years post graduation from High School. The Initiative will not be appearing in it, but many of those seasons episodes can and will be part of the next story, which I've already started on.

"Road trip, here we come." Xander smiled his lopsided grin at Cordelia as he loaded the last of their luggage, okay her luggage, into his car. He was just grateful he'd managed to talk her out of an entire suitcase full of shoes. Although they might end up bringing one back with them. With Cordelia, who thought shopping should be an Olympic sport, it was always a possibility.

"And at the end of our trip, we'll be settling me and Buffy into a new apartment in Los Angelus. I never thought I'd be rooming with Buffy, but it makes sense."

"You can watch each other's backs." Xander agrees. "Keep my favorite fox and our endangered species unicorn safe from poachers."

"Poachers will steer clear of us if they know what's good for them." Cordelia agreed, kissing him. "And you'll be starting at UC Sunnydale, are you sure about what you want to study?"

"Yeah, I could study law or go to the Police Academy, they're a natural fit for a Grimm, but both are too close to my night job. I want to help people in a different way with my day job. Counseling seems like a good way to do that. I can especially try to help any Wesen students."

"You've got a big heart, Xander Harris."

"And it belongs to you and our people." He assured her. "If you need me, honey, just call okay? I can be in Los Angeles in two hours and unless I have an emergency I'll be down every weekend to see you."

"You'd better be. Arguing is fun, don't make it a reason to tear strips off of you."

"I won't." He promised. "Jesse will welcome a break anyway so he and Amy can have alone time of their own."

"He hasn't made up his mind on what's he's studying yet, but Amy says she's going for pre law. Buffy just plans to enjoy the first semester and being closer to Pike for awhile. We should get going, don't we have to stop for gas?"

"Yeah, we do." Xander turned to Charles Chase, who'd been watching the young couple with a slight smile on his face. "I'll bring her back in one piece, sir, I promise."

"See to it that you do or I'll have to consider you prey." The older man joked back. He watched as Xander held Cordelia's door open for her, before taking his own place behind the wheel. Cordelia was still his little girl, but it was time to let her leave the nest and who better to keep her safe, then a fiercely protective Grimm? Charles Chase wasn't worried, he knew Xander would keep Cordelia safe and happy.

Xander pulled into a gas station at the edge of Sunnydale and got out to fill the tank of the Camero. As he was doing that a mini van pulled up to the pump on the other side and a teenage boy maybe a year younger than them got out and began filling its tank. The middle age woman in the driver's seat caught his attention because she was looking at Cordelia who had flipped down the visor on her side of the car and was checking her makeup. The woman had an odd expression on her face and then she climbed out of the van and headed toward the station itself. She kept glancing back over her shoulder at Cordelia, which was setting Xander's nerves on edge. It was when the woman came back out of the station that Xander was able to see her eyes. Both of their eyes widened as each realized the other was a Grimm. Without taking her eyes from Xander the woman called out to the boy, "I'm going around to the side of the station to use the bathroom, Nick, I've already paid for the gas. Just wait in the van for me."

"Okay, Aunt Marie." He called back. After a moment Xander followed her.

"Do you know what that girl is?" The woman hissed at Xander, as soon as they were out of sight.

"A girl I've known since I was five and loved since I was fifteen. The rest doesn't matter." He told the older Grimm.

"She's a Wesen, isn't she? At least half, anyway?"

"Fuchsbau and her father is a normal human." Xander confirmed.

"Why? Why would you choose someone you might have to hunt someday?" She honestly sounded confused. "I know you're active."

"Yes, since I was fifteen. I'm going to give you a warning, ma'am. In Sunnydale, Grimms and Wesen have learned to work together. Harris' have protected Sunnydale for more then a century and will continue to do so. You do not hunt in Sunnydale, ever. Understand me? Every Wesen who lives here chooses to be Weider and not just in Sunnydale, Oxnard and Ojai have Weider Wesen as well. If I find out you tried to hurt any of them, I'll come after you. If you ever have cause to believe one of our people is a problem, you come to the Harris' or Faith Lehaine and let us deal with them. This is the only warning you get. Sunnydale is protected, normal human, Wesen and Grimms call it home and each other friends. We don't have to be enemies. Pass it on."

Xander watched the Grimm woman and her nephew drive away, taking the highway out of Sunnydale, hopeful that this Marie and her nephew, this Nick, a not yet activated Grimm, would eventually learn to understand that, that they didn't have to be enemies.
