It was dark after the fires died down. A small hand reached out to the moon as if a final plea for help from anyone. The figure felt the familiar taste of copper in his mouth. But rather than his abusive mother slapping his face for another fuck up from his current adopted family. The hot concrete and rebar pinned his small body down. His legs and lower body ached in agony as the heat caused severe burns.

"So this is it….three families and several failed attempts to get adopted and now my fate is this…. unloved and unwanted….fuck this country….."

We're the thoughts of a dying boy.

"Someone help! Help me get this boy!"

"Huh?" The small boy's eyesight began to blur.

The adrenaline in his body slowly died off as he couldn't do anything but accept his fate of dying here. Yet it seems that more voices rang out to violently kill his cynicism. Burns and blood loss was all he felt. His ears started to ring as it became clearer he was going to die as his sense's started to shut down.

"QUICKLY GET THAT SLAB OFF OF HIM!"

Shouted another voice while younger it still sounded older as well. He then felt the overwhelming weight of the concrete wall come off his lower body.

"SHIT HE'S LOSING BLOOD! HERE KID EAT THIS!"

He felt something get forced to his lips. He didn't bother to chew through. He was going to die alone anyways, why was valuable medicine used on him? His country thought he was nothing, the families that were part of the foster families system just used him as a house maid without the submissive and embarrassing uniform. On top of his other studies that were like weights of lead and responsibilities as a Japanese son to a traditional family. Yet he was still treated with contempt as he remembered the beatings he would receive by his mother for so much as not getting a straight A report card. Deny him food for small infractions of ungentlemanly and or uncourteous and 'submissive' behavior.

As though he had to prostrate himself when guests came to his adopted families home as is traditional part of family duties and honor he had to uphold. Yet he couldn't help but not 'fit in' to the collective and societal whole that almost all Japanese children are taught at an early age. Yet these people are trying to save him, don't they know that he's a nobody individual who would rather be anything else, be anywhere else.

"Come on don't die on us kid!"

Shouted someone, his shell shock from the earlier blast of some odd bomb or whatever that threw shrapnel and debris onto his unworthy body to even call himself Japanese. Something that even after the American introduction of proper family values and better ways to conduct oneself after the bombing and subsequent surrender of Japan back in the summer of, 1945, couldn't account for traditionalist who grew up with those older more obsolete values that would rather sooner kill their children for not displaying proper Japanese conformity. Maybe perhaps his rescuers were foreigners and out of their Christianly sense of right and wrong that's prevailed after the reconstruction of his home land during the cold war took pity on him instead of the other possible 'salvageable' wounded Japanese civilians.

"I guess my little bro was right…."

"Come one kid stay with us!"

"Dad was right…"

He felt another object get pushed into his mouth as he attempted to just swallow while what they shoved into his mouth another perhaps drug to up his immune system and kickstart his cells rapidly accelerating their growth. At this time he had no possible future.

"Being a hero was……hard…"

"Come on kid, you're gonna be alright!!!!

Emiya residence

The sheed was dark as the sole occupant snored like a chainsaw nearby barley a couple of feet away. Its frame taken apart and smaller components new his body Ms he continued to sleep. Small mummers could be heard as the doors opened up and a girl with purple hair in the Fyuki highschool uniform walked in.

"God damn it Shirou, you really need to stop sleeping in this dank place. Otherwise you'd get sick and I'd have to take care of you. Make some soup, tuck you into bed. Maybe try and get you to see and recognize my…"

She was then cut off as the occupant on the ground snorted awake and her tone changed with the boy all the wiser to her out loud musings.

"HEY BUDDY WANNA GET OFF THE GROUND AND HELP ME MAKE BREAKFAST FOR TAIGA AND GOHAN!?" She immediately stated rather loudly.

"Oh hey Sakura, did I get every piece of tech to make Japan compliant gadgets instead of doing the logical thing and asking my dad's contacts to buy guns instead again without big bro Gohan knowing?"

As the boy sat up and stretched on the ground. The light showed off his hair being fiery red orange and looked up at the girl.

"Yes yes you did. Please, stop taking this junk. It's dirty, filthy, and you haven't made a successful gadget at all. Probably should have stuck to Gohan's training." Sakura replied, sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"Come on Sakura, I'm at least a decent engineer. I mean remember that crossbow I made?"

"You mean the one that almost made the doctors have to amputate your foot because you shot yourself in the ass?"

Shirou just sighs at Sakura's retorts.

"There's no changing your mind about my dreams."

"Nooooo, please think about others for once that don't involve your dream. Otherwise I'd have to talk to Gohan about banning you from the shed."

"Please no.."

OP (Red Who We Are)

We we're the ones who weren't Afraid

We were the broken hearted

We are the scars that wouldn't fade, away

Ruby is sitting on a fence. Her eyes looked like they were about to tear up as she looked at a grave with the words engraved "Shirou Emiya, The Greatest Hero to live." The Snow around her made the landscape white as she saw a red and black cloak blowing in the wind. A metallic helmet adorned the person in front of her as the winds picked up while the landscape changed to that of the Rural Area of Fyuki where she was greeted by a smiling Rin who shook her hand.

How did we let go?

How did we forget? That we don't have to hide.

We don't have to believe the lies again, WE WON'T BE PARALYZED!

However their handshake was short lived as a girl with brown hair and kitsune ears smiled down on them from a roof. She wore a red skirt black leggings, some form of a kimono, with red eye liner from the sides of her eyes as they looked posed to kill them as she threw paper planes at them that turned into some type of war planes that fired at them.

We can be who we are now we are alive!

We can fight, they cannot contain us!

It's who we are, WE ARE UNDYING!

ITS WHO WE ARE!

WONT HIDE OUR FACES FROM THE LIGHT!

ELIMINATE THE SPACE BETWEEN US!

ITS WHO WE ARE, WE ARE FOREVER!

ITS WHO WE ARE!

Rin unphased by the girl, just continued to ignore her servants' pleas for obvious help and kept on saying her machinations. A plate of armor decorated with a golden Sakura flower rested on her stomach while it shined as the sun rose. As Ruby went into action against the women swinging her scythe who dodge and started attacking with hand to hand Combat as her planes returned to take Ruby off of the odd women.

We're the tears that passion cried, We are the Sacrificed.

We are the flame that wouldn't die, INSIDE!

Shirou looks about his belongings in a shed as he tries to use his mage craft on the objects only for them to break apart. With a sigh he leaves the shed not noticing the glowing circle on the floor close by his things.

How did we go wrong?

We will not forget!

We won't get left behind!

A Sakura held her legs close to her chest as another woman pulled her in for a hug. They were wearing what looked like a bikini top, an officer's cover and using her black US navy dress blue coat as a cloak to cover Sakura. The Women had her legs exposed revealing heels made of what looked to be ship grade steel with the actual heel part looking like rust and smoke had eaten at it. As though the older woman was protecting the young girl like a mother would her daughter.

We won't give up the fight again!

WE WON'T BE DENIED!

A large bulky odd object kneeled down to a small girl looking up at a machine that looked to be made for war. Wolfs tried to attack the young white haired girl with red eyes. But the red lenses in the machine glowed and what looked to be small barrels coming out two small holes where the temples for a head would be opened up on the wolves protecting the girl. As though making a pact of protection the small girl took the mechanical hand.

WE CAN BE WHO WE ARE NOW WE ARE ALIVE!

THEY CAN FIGHT THEY CAN'T CONTAIN US!

IT'S WHO WE ARE, WE ARE UNDYING!

WE ARE FOREVER!

Shirou looked to be in trouble yet he didn't know it. Summer Rose came out of nowhere. He sat up in awe on the ground. The light showed off his hair being fiery red orange and looked up at her. Then out of thin air block some sort of knife wielding man with blond hair and scars on face. A red Beret on his head as though he was a part of some special forces unit. His black body armor tanked some fist strikes to his chest as he and Summer came to blows.

WE WON'T HIDE OUR FACES FROM THE LIGHT!

ELIMINATE THE SPACE BETWEEN US!

IT'S WHO WE ARE, WE ARE FOREVER! IT'S WHO WE ARE!

A man in a priest uniform of the Catholic Church turned around as though prepared to give a sermon for the kids and servants when he held his hands out. A Golden armored warrior came out from behind the priest and snapped his fingers making the kids and servants fall into a hole to a desolate wasteland. As though commanding them to do battle against the women who summoned old war planes and her master who looked perturbed by all the people present.

WE WILL NEVER DIE!

WE WILL NEVER DIE!

WE WILL NOT DENY!

NOW WE ARE ALIVE!

…..

However Summer summoned by Shirou and Ruby Summoned by Rin would come to blows. Ruby determined to make the other women bend the knee to surrender to her as they practically ignored the battle behind them. Staring one another down waiting for the other to start making the first move

We can be who we are!

Now we are alive!

We can fight, they cannot contain us!

It's who we are, WE ARE UNDYING!

WE ARE FOREVER!

We won't hide our faces from the light!

Eliminate the space between us!

It's who we are! WE ARE FOREVER!

The woman who was with Sakura brought up an object connected to her back to block bullets from the war planes the caster summoned only for the metallic object that saved the smaller girl with white hair stepped in front of her as the bullets bounced off his Blue and White shield with a Red Star on it. She was surprised but the machine nodded to her for both of them to advance on the caster, kitsune who started throwing her paper planes at them while a green creature lurked in the background next to a boy with blue hair and a smirk that would make the devil smile.

IT'S WHO WE ARE!

Shirou and Rin stood together with Sakura, and white haired girl staring at the sunset over the City of Fyuki. The day turned to night as their servants appeared behind them and they all walked away as the camera looked up at the moon

Emiya household dining room

Sakura was serving the table as a man with black hair and a girl with light brown hair were eating like no tomorrow. The black haired man especially, his glasses didn't even get any food residue on them.

"Man, this is delicious Sakura!"

"Thank you Gohan." Sakura replied.

"I have to agree I'm surprised you didn't start trying to ask Shirou out for a date!" The women also spoke up.

This caused both Shirou and Sakura to blush.

"Taiga please…" Shirou muttered taking actual time to eat his breakfast.

"To be fair to Taiga Shirou, I'm surprised you even talked her into making our food." Gohan stated. "Oh don't forget we have training later once you get home."

"Don't you need to head to the airport tomorrow? That could make you tired and late for your flight to America." Sakura spoke up.

"Don't worry I'll get him there just in time. After all, I'm the best motorcycle racer on this side of Japan!"

Gohan nodded in agreement.

"So I won't be late. Besides, I wouldn't want to miss your cooking! Shirou could learn a thing or two from you."

"I appreciate the praise, Gohan," Sakura replied with a smile.

Road to school.

Gohan, Sakura, and Shirou walked wearing the school's uniform while the former was wearing a business suit.

"Remember to not do any of Shinji's chores for the day Shirou, last time you did it I got the lecture from my colleagues."

Shirou just sighs at being reminded of that.

"Yea I know."

"Just making sure you remember kiddo!" Gohan replied, rubbing his hair.

"Gah I just combed my hair big bro!"

"Hah! No you didn't. Otherwise it wouldn't be as naturally spiky as mine!"

"I actually do have a question Mr.Gohan, why does your hair never grow?" Sakura asked.

"Oh, that's just a rare genetic hair disorder. First one to have it actually." Gohan replied with a smile. "She must never know about my missing tail."

Eventually they get to the front of the school.

"Alright kids I'll see you later, gotta prep my class and what not."

"Alright Mr.Gohan." "Later, big bro."

Walking into the entrance to change their shoes, Sakura squeaked, causing Shirou to turn his head. He raised an eyebrow in confusion as her shoes were filled with what looked like day-old jello from the cafeteria.

"Oh man…" she sighed.

"Need any help there Sakura?" Shirou asked.

"No…I'll get new ones."

"Can you afford that? I mean it's the fifth replacement this month."

"No no it's alright. The staff knows it's a common thing…"

"Sakura."

"I'll be fine, ok." Sakura stated.

With a sigh Shirou nods but begrudgingly. As he was on his way to class however he was stopped by someone.

"Hey Emiya, we have a bit of a situation." The boy said, adjusting his glasses.

"Oh hey Issie, is something the matter?"

Class 2-b

"After Shinji used a broom to block arrows, Ayako then did a five arrow draw or whatever it's called and sense he couldn't get to her in time to stop her he then grabbed the nearest thing to him and that's how the AC unit was involved."

"Gotta give it to Shinji, when he wants to fuck around he finds out in very hilarious if not pathetic ways."

"Yep, but it also falls back on me for being the Class President sadly. But in the end, give it to me straight Shirou, can the AC unit be saved."

"Oh yea, if anything we just need to order another frame for this unit to cover up the holes from the arrows sense we got the spare parts already here. And use nothing but sweet, delicate love." Shirou replied, emphasizing his point by gently settling a wire in place and sliding his finger over it to have it connect to some pre-drilled Lanes on the circuit board.

"How you train yourself to be a repairman is a miracle to engineering itself I'll say. But I don't understand why you won't let me watch you when you fix our old appliances."

"I mean a guy needs a space to perform his craft, that not only is a job skill that can help a repair company job and set me for life. But it also helps deepen my understanding of engineering. But seriously if you want this old piece of shit 1980s AC unit to get fixed as good as new you need to get out."

Taking his leave, Issie stood up to head to the door.

"No problem dude, I'll see you when we hit home-room."

"Thanks a lot, Issie."

Once the door closed a smile appeared on Shirous face. As he placed his hand on the main motherboard of the AC unit.

"Heater, reveal thy secrets unto me."

Injecting a very small amount of his Mana into the machine he could feel his energy flowing through the old unit. Seeing every single angle of the complex yet old machinery and small pieces of tech that have been outdated for a while.

"Huh, guess it just needed electrical tap here and there. Radical! I truly do the work of heros!"

He then picked up the black roll of said tape and started wrapping it around several wires and seating them into their proper groves when he heard something outside.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't miss princess mctempts-a-lot! Here to sway more young minds to your feminine charms?"

"Calculus actually! I'm here to get some stuff because I'm going to be gone for a few days."

Shirou instantly recognized the other voice.

"Oh hey it's Rin…maybe I could…talk with…."

That's when a feminine voice spoke up.

"I really wouldn't recommend it, she's on a rampage or something. Don't worry about her."

"Good call brain, I forgot about how bad I am at talking to women on account that I only have Sakura to talk to!"

"Huh wonder why Sakura is important to you. Gotta ask Rin about that."

That's when Shirou's eyes widened.

"Wait, why do I have a female voice as the voice in the back of my head?"

"I don't know maybe because people think you have women problems?"

The female voice whispers scared about something from the time she was letting off.

"Huh, interesting, never thought about that."

"Hey Shirou, can you come out for a sec?"

"Sorry Issie, I'm too scared of Rin because she's just as worse as Ayako with a shorter temper and that I'm Shirou Emiya would only make things worse!"

He then heard a sigh of relief which was also awkward.

"Ah she's still here Shirou, and she heard that."

"Hi Rin, nice to meet you, you scare me a lot."

"I get that a lot." Rin replied.

Eventually whatever argument Issie and Rin were arguing about was over and Shirou finished fixing the AC unit.

"There, good as new." He said to no one dusting his hands off and admiring his handy work.

Just then a woman in a female business suit and pencil skirt with aqua green-blue eyes, dark hair, with violet highlight tips walked into the room.

"Thanks for repairing my heater, I heard what happened to it Mr.Emiya."

She held several files with paperwork as she stepped inside to get to her desk.

"Oh, thanks, Mrs.Tannin. oh by the way did you get your English degree sorted out?" Shirou asked.

"Oh, yes, thanks for asking. Sakura was a big help with that."

"Huh, why would Sakura?" He was then cut off.

"Her Grandfather had some people that could pull some strings. Anyways I believe you have homeroom in about fifteen minutes?" She stated looking at her classroom's clock.

"OH MY GOSH! I hope I won't be late!"

Then like a bat out of hell he ran to his locker to get his proper books for the day and headed to his homeroom. Issie about to close the door when he came up and he promptly let him in. He was breathing harshly like he had run a marathon.

"You okay there Shirou?" Issie asked.

"I'm huff puff good huff puff." He replied.

"Well well Shirou Emiya! I'm so glad that my bestest friend managed to make it to school on time. Honestly I didn' know what to do if you were late." the snobbish vocal cord vibrations of a blue haired boy stated as he was messing with a bit of his hair.

Shirou just sighed as he now had to address Sakura's estranged brother.

"Oh I just slept in by accident and had to fix an AC unit you destroyed because you decided to piss off Ayako, by the way what did you do to make her grab her stuff to shoot you?" He asked rather nonchalantly.

Shinji then replied with indignation.

"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME IN SUCH A MANNER!? I'LL BE BACK TO GIVE YOU A PUNISHMENT BEFITTING OF YOUR INTOLERANCE!"

The pretty boy then walked away to his seat grumbling to himself about whatever he decided to think of.

"Am…I missing something there?" Issie couldn't help but ask.

"I'm in the unfortunate position of having to be friends with Shinji because I'm actually friends with Sakura. Family watching over the other or something like that."

"That…sounded more like he wanted to control you, not be your friend…"

"You'll get used to it." Shirou replied, sighing to himself about the predicament of his friendship with Sakura.

After school

Sakura had left an hour earlier prior to Shirou much to Gohan's dismay and told Shirou he'd walk Sakura to the house. Shirou sighs as he walks alone as the winter sky comes. The darkness of night started to settle in. The street lights start turning on. Shirou was walking at a fast pace under them. However he noticed two individuals walking down the sidewalk as well. A man who looked like he had a bit of a tan, wore khaki pants and shirt, lastly an odd hat with a symbol of a bird, globe, and anchor. He lastly had silver eyes which looked like they could pierce the dark.

Walking alongside him, was a girl who wore purple clothes that looked German in make. Red eyes and white hair made out the rest of her appearance as she seemed to be holding onto the man's hand as though she was the man's daughter or relative of some kind. She had an odd smile while the man was blank as though he had a thousand yard stare. As they walked past each other, Shirou could hear a small giggle as a smile appeared on the girl's face as they passed him.

"It would be a terrible night to die." a small girl's voice rang out.

Shirou looked behind himself, seeing that the girl and man were gone.

"I mean I guess but context please? Hello? Tiny scary man and child?"

Emiya household dining room

After coming home and changing into a workout shirt and shorts Gohan and Shirou did a usual routine of light stretches and exercises before working on teaching Shirou martial arts. While still a bit of a novis he was slowly getting there with his proficiency to learn as he goes. After an hour of that he begins training his natural energy of Kii, aka his mana, Gohan figured that the same training he did to master his Kii with Mr. Piccolo would be great for helping Shirou out with his mana despite the two energies being the same. Eventually after an hour of this they called it a day and showered.

"Why don't you think of the family Shirou, if you got hurt I wouldn't be able to come home to Sakura's cooking!" She reprimanded him given that he clearly was given a threat.

"I would have dropped kicked them off the road but letting it go is good too." Sakura gave her two sense.

"I'm not going to drop kick a kid off the road Sakura, and we're not necessarily family Taiga." Shirou replied, eating his rice.

"I mean she's been friends with your dad for how long?" Gohan asked as he was eating the main meal.

"Look if push come to shove I would have went kun…"

He then got a glare from Gohan.

"Martial arts on her would have been awesome or come home and use one of many gadgets!"

"You mean the same gadgets that almost lit the shed on fire last month?" Taiga questioned.

"Eh…maybe…?" Shirou hesitantly replied.

"Uh huh, anyways. I got some paperwork for my class to go through, also Shirou."

Gohan then pulled out a few Nokia phones and tossed them to Shirou who the latter caught.

"Figured you'd like those. Damn things never break and still function. Gottem on sale and figured you could use an early birthday gift before I have to head to America for a conference the school sadly set up."

"Thanks big bro I appreciate it, I can definitely use these for a cool communications device!" Shirou replied looking at the old phones thinking about all the uses he could put them to.

"Just don't get carried away again alright tonight ok kiddo?"

Shirou nodded as he finished his meal and walked Sakura home.

"You don't have to walk me home, you know." Sakura stated.

"Of course I do, you cook for me and my family friends, this is the least I can do for being a good friend and I well…also like your cooking…" he stutters the last bit.

This caused Sakura to blush a little as she looks forward to her home.

"Thank you stupid idiot." She replied in a playful manner.

"Oh come on, one day I'll show you I'll be a great hero of Fyuki! I'll be Fyuki Man!!!" He replied playfully back.

"Oh please, would have been better if you were the great Sayiaman!" She giggled.

"I'll admit I'll miss that famous hero. How he was able to fly I'll never know." He said aloud while thinking wistfully about Fyukis great urban legend.

"Oh please you couldn't be able to do half of what he does. He mostly just helps old people cross the road."

"Well maybe he's just like our friendly neighborhood Spiderman."

He then felt a very odd presence as he got in front of the Matou estate. Like something just didn't sit right. It was actually the main reason he walked her home.

"Everything ok Lord of loud?" Sakura asked.

"Say Sakura…ever get the feeling you're being watched from an invisible barrier from another dimension?"

"Oh that's probably just my grandfather….he…has that effect on people." She replied as she walked through the gates.

"Ok…. well if you say so…"

Shirou was about to leave when he turned around and saw a short hunchbacked man now staring at him. His skin seemed almost an ashen pale like texture. His eyes looked non-existent if those black holes were even meant to be eyes. He neither smiled nor frowned but had a plain neutral face. And it creeped the fuck out of him.

"Ah…hello…. Mr….ah…I'm sorry what's your name?" Shirou said.

"I'm Sakura's Grandfather," the man replied evenly. With no hint of emotion.

"Ah…Mr..Matou…I'll ah…be going then…"

Shirou then started walking around the man who seemingly was so quiet that he could sneak behind him. It was strange to say the least but who was Shirou to judge when Gohan was a mage of a different caliber. So he just walked away from the creepy man and aforementioned house the old man owned.

"Mr.Emiya." the old man called.

"Yes, Mr.Matou?" Shirou asked.

"Take care of Sakura." He said before moving to the gate and heading into his home.

Shirou would then proceed to walk home.

"That…was so creepy."

Emiya Shed

Shirou immediately got to work disassembling the Nokias as he looked at the blue prints next to him. Flowing the instructions carefully as he began his latest gadget masterpiece. Though he sighs in disappointment when he couldn't get several parts to fit as the Nokia parts he had were just too big. He'd need later models of the ones he was given. The small TV was turned to the news channel with videos and images of the 'Great Sayiaman' saving people from regular everyday troubles from helping old women cross the road to stopping armed robberies. He would once in a while take a look before getting back to his work. Straining trying to get the parts to fit before something broke.

"Damnit! Sigh…..those guys, I'll show them I'll be the best hero ever…except I can't…. because magic…"

His mind drifted back to that old man he never saw till now. Maybe Mr.Matou was more of a shyer man than he thought. But that weird request for him to "take care of Sakura" wasn't a threat like that of any family member. It felt…hollow and empty.

"I guess I'll ask Sakura when she comes over in the morning." He thought.

He then started putting his tools away and leaving the shed. Not really noticing an odd circle that glowed dimly in the shed covered in crates of whatever his dad left behind before he died.

Morning

Shirou was cleaning up the breakfast dishes with Sakura after saying goodbye to Gohan and Taiga. However as he put dishes away he looked over to Sakura who pulled dishes from the washer he saw something dark on her skin. He finished putting away the dishes he had and walked up to her.

"Sakura?"

She looked up to him.

"Yes, Lord of loud?"

He didn't say anything as he bent down to her and took her hand gently. When she flinched that all but confirmed it. He then pulled her uniform sleeve back to show the bruises on her arm.

"Sakura, who did this to your hand?"

She looked at him hesitantly before sighing.

At the school

"SHINJI!" a shout loud enough to nearly shake the earth rang out in the hallway.

The blue haired boy turned his head from talking to a couple of girls.

"Ah if it isn't my best friend Shirou Emiya. To what do I owe the pleasure?" He replied like that of a Grima Wormtounge.

"Did you hit Sakura you bastard!?" Shirou demanded.

"What? No I would never lay a finger on my 'precious sister!'" Shinji replied with sarcasm.

"Uh huh you expect me to believe that!?" Shirou counters.

"What? All I did was smack her a bunch and she bruised."

"What the hell kind of a distinction did you just make!?"

The two girls he was talking to immediately bailed when Shinji started talking about how he treated his sister. Shinji, seeing this, turned to address them but they left rather quickly and rightly so. Angered by the loss of his prey he turned to Shirou with a hateful glare.

"While we're at it, do you mind cleaning up the dojo for me?"

"What, why would I do that for you!? Because I have a note to leave the school early so someone has to clean the dojo and I already told the teachers that my best friend Shirou Emiya would clean the area."

"God damn you Shinji! When I'm done with the dojo I will come back and obliterate you!"

"Whatever floats your boat." Shinji replied grumbling away.

"LIKE A GODDAMN HERO!"

Fyuki highschool Multipurpose Dojo

Shirou sighed as to how he was forced into cleaning the dojo alone. The sloshing and squeaking of mops and rags against the hardwood floors. He then put away the cleaning supplies and wiped the sweat from his brow.

"Finally done. Now I have two reasons to kill Shinji and make sure he's dead!"

"RINNNNNN!"

Shirou was shocked at the loud saying of someone's name. Then the earth shook as he ran over to where he thought the sounds were coming from. He then bore witness to several individuals. The gold and black warriors trading blows.

"Wow….I WANT THAT!" he shouted seeing the two people fight with weapons that seemed multipurpose.

"WHOS THERE!? BY THE EMPEROR SHOW THYSELF!" Shouted the tall golden warrior

"AM SORRY!" Shirou stated, turning around to run.

He ran about the hallways twists and turns as he heard the thumping of large footsteps get closer and closer. He pumped his legs with all his strength. Then the black warrior came out of nowhere shocking him causing him to trip over himself.

"NO WAIT, I'M A HERO!" He shouted.

His body collided with the ground. However as he opened his eyes as he stopped sliding he felt a familiar taste of copper in his mouth as a large blade went through his chest. His pupils widened as a loud noise rang out causing his ears to ring. He then looks down at his chest to see a twenty millimeter in diameter hole in his chest not to mention the blade in his chest. His hands instinctively tried touching the blade in his chest but could barely get even within inches of it. He heard the explosion from the floor below. He then looked up to the golden warrior who had stabbed him.

He couldn't hear much other than apparently some show getting canceled before it disappeared away. His eyes began closing as he flew, the blood loss becoming more and more of a problem. His senses began to start to slowly fail. His breathing is pretty much slow, sporadic, and a problem. Trying to get air into his lungs only to cough up blood as he was turned over. His vision blurred so badly he couldn't make out who was beside him.

"So this is it…a lifetime of making shitty gadgets with nothing to show for it…unable to save anyone much less Sakura…. Gohan and Dad were right. Being a hero is…hard…"

Eventually something glowed above him. He tried to focus on it but it was hard given the blood loss.

"What the…what…is..that thing?...It's…beautiful…."

As he slowly felt his life slowly going away he had an odd feeling in his non-existent chest as it became warm. A red light glowed blinding him more. The last thing he heard before blacking out was footsteps coming and going away. When his eyes were closed he felt something touch his cold chest. Warm hands held some oddball and it looked like it phased into him. His chest then became warmer. He felt his…heart? Beginning to pump. However his tired senses finally failed him as he closed his eyes. As if death was finally washing over him.

After several hours Shirou sat up quickly breathing in a gulp of air. At first it was labor intensive to just get the precious oxygen into his lungs. He looked around quickly just in case someone was still there. He felt his shirt to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He felt his dried blood and the hole in his shirt. Continuing to breath harshly he felt all over himself to make sure he's actually alive.

"Ok! Odd turn of events! Suck it game company who apparently hates something!"

He turns to his left and sees the red gem that apparently saved him and picked it up.

"Ok time to go home."

Emiya household

It took several hours and lots of trips and falls but he finally made it home. Opening the door to the living room. He takes a couple of steps.

"Home sweet home" he called out hoping Tiga or Sakura heard him.

Only for him to fall over face first, mumbling through the hardwood floor.

"blurg….This is fine…the floor is fine…"

Taking a breath he turned over and sighs thinking back to what happened.

"I wonder who those black and gold guys were. Those guys came from. Their outfits were awesome. Though not sure why they had guns attached to their blades seemed pretty impractical. Especially that girl in black with that sword. Wonder if dad and Gohan meet mages like that. Wait where they mages?"

However his thoughts were Interrupted when he heard a very familiar sound.

"Oh! You're a mage! YOUR DEAD!"

He then looked carefully at the roof of the house only for his eyes to widen and dodge out of the way of a halibards spear end which literally destroyed the floor work where he originally was. Shirou grabbed a rolled up poster aiming the end at the golden warrior.

"You see Mortal, I originally killed you because your psycher assassinorum made it so that normal mortals couldn't see psycher doings."

"Yes I get it, I'm a mage." Shirou replied not sure what the golden guy meant by psycher.

"That you are mortal."

"So…go away?"

"Unfortunately for you I can not allow that."

"Why not!?"

"Because it is by my master's whim that you are dead. And a little Godzilla who paid me fifty bucks."

"Trace…on"

Glowing lines started to appear on the poster which intrigued the golden armored man.

"May I ask what by the warp you are doing?"

"I may not have a pipe on hand in the house. But with a little bit of reinforcement magic. This poster can be strong like a pipe! I'm gonna smack you around with my pipe gold bomber!"

"Hum, you see, about that mortal."

The Custodian smacked Shirou to the side down a hall of the house. Who promptly slid comically down said hall. But immediately got up and smacked his body against the sliding glass door which shattered. To his right as he spotted his shed.

"Gotta find that black girl!"

The Custodian walked out of the house just as Shirou entered the shed.

"If you're talking about that Saber she didn't seem interested in saving you." He called out.

"That son of a bitch…" Shirou muttered as he crawled to his pile of gadgets. "Maybe I can use my rocks."

He then noticed a shadow behind him and dodged to the left which destroyed some of his defunct gizmos and tools. His body landed halfway on a covered summoning circle.

"I'll be honest here mortal, I honestly don't like doing this." The Golden warrior then held up his halibard ready to strike Shirou.

"You know what you shlong of an asshole. I have a can of none of your business right here!"

This caught the lancer off guard.

"So…what the can is my business but what's inside of it is not…that is an odd metaphor…"

"When I was young…I was saved by the most amazing act of heroism that could have ever happened."

"I'm just being polite at this point." Billowed the golden lancer.

"I'm never letting that memory go and I'm never letting it die!" He shouted.

From another plane of existence a woman with long black hair and red highlights looked up. Her silver eyes trying to find the voice that spoke. She looked tired emotionally and physically upon a hill. She gripped her sword and used it as a crutch to bring herself to her feet.

"Whatever, your world is nothing but death and nihilism. Nothing and no one was worth saving here."

"Well fuck you to lancer. Because even if my body dies! I'll be the vessel that becomes that image of what a true hero Shou be! And save everyone in front of me!"

As he said that the circle underneath him glowed. Which caused the red osspec lenses to widen as he went into for the thrust.

"AT YOUR WILL I HAVE BEEN SUMMONED!"

A female voice spoke out as a sword materialized and smacked the Costodes halberd away and then did a thrust with the blades handle into the golden armored man's chest forcing him out of the shed in surprise.

"Through time and space, upon my grave I kindly scatter, yet here I am at what you say I do?" The women said to Shirou as they locked eyes.

She wore a red outfit that looked like a light leather armored chest plate with gauntlets, shin guards, and a white cloak that flowed while she moved. Her hair had braids that went from the front to the back while the rest of her hair flowed freely to her shoulders.

"What?" Shirou replied in awe.

"I'm just doing a bit. I speak English just fine." She said looking at the Costodes. "Is that Lancer?"

"Yes?"

"And you're my master?"

"Yes?"

"...I'm going to kill him!"

This shocked Shirou to his core.

"What!? Why?"

With a sigh she replied back as she got into a stance with her sword.

"Look, I had a really tough time with another guy who destroyed my family. And I'm gonna take it out on Lancer."

"Dammit why!?" Lancer stated as he lunged at her with his weapon. "I was seconds away from preventing a servant from being summoned!"

The woman deflected the spear with her sword. He then jumped back a good thirty feet and fired several bolter rounds at her to which she deflected each one. She was strong for a mortal like the archer. But unlike Archer she was clearly more combat experienced. They then jumped at each other, Lancer using his reach with his halibard and the women with her sword.

"What are you!? What is that weapon!?" The Costodes ranted like a dog.

"Confused Costodes? I must have smacked you hard with my mighty magic spells Lancer."

The Costodian felt indignation now.

"Oh right Merlin, where's your fourteen year old King who was orphaned!?"

"My classification confuses you? But it must suck to be you because I already figured out your identity." She replied pointing her sword down while her elbows pointed up for this defensive stance.

"First name Ordo, last name Xenos…" the Costodes said in annoyance.

"Your Captain General Kitten of the Adeptus Costodes, your Man Emperor of Mankind's ruler and caretaker from Games Workshop's most hated animated series."

This caused the Costodes to be extremely confused. His pulled his halibard back and rested the bolter part of his weapon on his shoulder.

"Ok what the hell. How did you know that!? Do I have it written on my back or what because there's no way twice is a coincidence!"

"Your abilities with a bolter and halibard combination is great. If only your combat skills hadn't degraded from 'mourning' a corpse."

"Wow, you have already mastered, Terras languages that the Grail taught us."

"No shit Dog." she replied.

"It takes a bit, but don't worry mortal!"

Lancer then brought his halibard down, the spear end pointed at her. A measma then coated the weapon.

"Prepare yourself Warp spawn! You're about to witness my ultimate attack!!"

He then jumped up into the and with all his might threw his weapon at her. The women held a defensive stance again.

"Physica Confossa Beam!"

She then used the flat end of her sword to divert the energy into the air.

"Your Attack is strong but your aim is lacking Lancer!"

Yet despite the energy being deflected Lancer narrowed his eyes and pulled the trigger to his Bolter. Rounds fired hitting Sabers sword trying to make her lose her grip. But her strength and luck helped her hands keep their dexterity despite the seventy millimeter rocket propelled HE shells.

"Ok, not to be a sore loser or anything, But did that attack do jack shit? That attack should have destroyed your weapon!" The Golden lancer stated.

"My weapon stats and my luck rank is what saved me."

She then got out of her stance, her sword in one hand as she placed her other hand on her hip. She didn't look phased or even annoyed.

"Well that's retarded. My Physica Confessa Beam is always supposed to melt an opponent's weapons was stopped by a metaphysical roll of a D20 dice. That being said. I'll take my leave!"

The Golden warrior then jumped to the top of the Emiya house landing on his feet. Preterping Saber.

"You're running!?"

Kitten then looked back.

"Yes, my master is a bit concerned when a attack that's basically an insta kill is negated by a bullshit random chance roll. Be that as it may, I'm pretty confident I can kill you. Feel free to follow if you want to test that theory."

The Costodian then jumped away in spirit form. Echos of his landings and jumping could be heard from afar if one had great hearing. With a sigh she sheathed her sword on her back and turned to Shirou. Who walked towards her.

"Ah hi I'm Shirou Emiya." He said. Still dazed about what happened.

"EMIYA!?" she shouted in surprise. "I'm sorry, go on."

"Ah…So ah…welcome….." he awkwardly replied. "I…ah…got a few questions…"

"You're not good at talking to people….specifically women I take it…but be that as it may I'd be happy to do a QA right after releasing some still pent up rage I have been holding onto while I kill another servant that's actually coming around the corner. So please just stay back and observe and try not killing other masters without my say so."

"Wait what do you mean by that?" Shirou said very confused. "Your gonna kill someone?"

"Don't bother stopping me!"

The Saber servant jumped over the wall and saw the master of the servant that was coming towards them.

"AH HA ANOTHER ONE!" Saber shouted.

The servant that appeared to be another girl jumps in the way with her sword and blocks several strikes with a very familiar weapon Saber had seen before. Using a large amount of force the servant backflips to their master's side. As she locks eyes with the servant, only for both of them to have their eyes widen when they see each other.

"M…mom?" Ruby choked out.

Sabers silver eyes locked with Ruby's.

"What? Ruby? You're a servant too?"

Ruby then used her telepathic link to Rin.

"Rin…this is Saber….she's also my mom…"

"She's…Momber." Rin replied.

Shirou then walked out from the house gate seeing that there was a pause in the fighting he spoke up.

"Ah I can see where all are confused…why…don't we go inside and have a nice…. peaceful talk about this."

Rin sighs but nods.

"Fine Emiya, we'll take your offer up on tea. Besides, it looks like these two need a chance to talk."

"Ruby…"

"Mom…"

Mother and daughter just look as Rin walks past them to leave them be.

"This is going to be a pain." Summer groans.
