Nica was dragging Lynn and Lola were being dragged into the lab by their tails. She placed the two mermaids in a giant fish tank. "To keep your tails wet and moist." Nica said.
"You can't keep us here!" Lynn shouted.
"This will only until you are place in a bigger tank where you will perform in front of everyone, studied by Marine Biologists and other things." Nica said. "Besides I better be famous than dragging your heavy tails."
"I am not fat!" Lola shouted as she pounded on the glass.
"It's muscle!" Lynn growled.
"Whatever you say." Nica said. "Now I need to make some calls." Nica then closed the fish tank top right before she exits the room.
"We're doomed." Lola gulped.
"Mom, better send in the troops to save us." Lynn said as she sat down against the glass. "Then the war against humanity begins."
"How can you think about war when we're about to be on dissecting table?!" Lola shouted.
"We're princesses. If anything bad happens to us, the wraith of Atlantis will strike." Lynn said.
Outside of the Aquarium, Lincoln, Ronnie Anne and Luna are outside of the Aquarium. "Ok I know this might be uncomfortable for you guys, seeing your little sea friends behind glass." Lincoln said.
"Lincoln, we got attacked by a giant squid." Ronnie Anne said.
"I got stung by a jellyfish, urchin and a lionfish at the same time." Luna said with a deadpan look on her face.
"Aren't those fatal?" Lincoln asked.
"Yeah, unless they're treated right." Luna said. "Let's get Lynn and Lola back."
The trio entered the Aquarium where they see some fish tanks filled with fishes, a counter, a fish tank full of jellyfish and a guy wearing a sea turtle costume, they looked up and see a Megalodon skeleton hanging above them.
"So where do we start?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"We need to look for the research lab." Lincoln said as the walked as they see Nica on her cellphone. "And I think we're gonna have to steal that I.D badge for access."
"Leave that to me." Luna said as she walked towards Nica.
"Ms. Kidman. I made the find of the century." Nica said on her phone. "No it's not a jellyfish. It's two mermaids. No it's no two people dressed up as mermaids."
Luna walked up to Nica while looking at her phone and bumps into her. "Oh sorry bra." Luna said right before she walks away.
"Watch where you're going!" Nica said before she gets back to her call. "I'm sorry about, some teenage girl bumped into me."
Luna walked up to Lincoln and Ronnie Anne and revealed Nica's keycard. "Oldest trick in the book." Luna said.
"Where did you learn that?" Lincoln asked.
"My pops taught me, just in case we end up on land with no money." Luna said with the two kids glaring at her. "Hey what choice do I have?!"
"Let's get Lynn and Lola out of here." Lincoln said.
Lincoln, Ronnie Anne and Luna walk around the Aquarium until they reached a door that read. "Staff only." Luna swiped key card on a black pad and the door unlocks. The trio enters the room and sees desks, microscopes, computers and books. "So where do we find Lynn and Lola?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"I have to say that giant fish tank over there." Ronnie Anne said as she pointed to the fish tank with Lynn and Lola in it.
"Luna, Lincoln!" Lola cried out.
"Oh hey Ronnie Anne." Lynn said. "Hard to believe you're friends with a human. Then agin your time on the surface has changed you."
"Hey, Lincoln's a cool guy and I heard about what you said about his late mother." Ronnie Anne said.
"Go figure you're taking his side." Lynn said.
"Look I'm just here to rescue you and then I'm going to pick a state without an ocean." Lincoln said.
"Fine by me." Lynn said.
Lincoln opened the fish tank and got both Lola and Lynn out of the tank. "Man you guys are heavy." Lincoln said.
"Hey the tails add a few pounds." Lola said.
"We need to dry off the tails." Luna said.
"All I found are paper towels." Lincoln said as he held out a roll of paper towels.
"It'll do." Luna said as she and Lincoln each ripped paper towels and placed them on Lynn and Lola, both of them dry their tails with the paper towels.
"Go away tail!" Lola panicked as she dried off her tail. But within minutes both Lynn and Lola's tails disappeared and replaced their tops with normal clothes.
"Much better." Lynn said.
"Alright let's get out of here." Lincoln said as the girls nodded right when they're about to exit the lab.
"Wait, we have to go out a different way. The staff will ask where Lola and Lynn came from." Ronnie anne said.
"Right. Let's go a different way." Luna said as the group go through a different doorway, which lead to the back door.
Nica and another marine biologist enter the lab. She has fair skin, blonde hair in a bun and she is wearing a green suit, white buttoned shirt underneath, green dress skirt, and black shoes. "I swear I had my keycard on me." Nica said. "But behold the discovery of the century Ms. Kidman."
"So where are these mermaids?" Ms. Kidman asked.
"In the tank." Nica pointed but the fish tank was empty. "They were right here!"
"You're wasting my time Musker." Ms. Kidman said and walked away.
"They were right here!" Nica said and she looks down and some water and paper towels. "Well I'll be damed."
Sometime later the gang is at the beach. "Ok we're gonna head back to the palace. You coming Lincoln?" Luna asked.
"Nah, Ronnie Anne and I are going to the movies and then go to the arcade." Lincoln said.
"Thanks for saving us." Lynn said with a monotone voice.
"Say it like you mean it." Luna glared at Lynn.
"Whatever." Lynn replied as she then turned around and before she ran into the ocean a Harpoon flew over her head. "What the heck?!" The group looked at who shot the harpoon and see Nica with a golf bag filled with harpoons and armed with a harpoon gun.
"You are not going anywhere!" Nica shouted as she reloaded her harpoon gun. "You two are coming back with me to the aquarium where you'll be the find of the century."
"That's not going to happen!" Lincoln said. "You're not going to hurt them. You have to go through me."
"Move or be moved." Nica threatened.
"No! I'm not going to let you hurt them. Sure Lynn is a pain in the ass but still." Lincoln said.
"I'm taking them. Dead or alive!" Nica shouted.
But all of a sudden Joy emerged from the ocean as her tail turns into legs and she's wearing a grey t shirt, blue jeans, and black boots. But in her hands is a green spear with a harpoon like blade. "Hey Human! Leave those kids alone!" Joy shouted as she smacked Nica's legs with her spear, knocking her down. Joy pointed her spear at Nica's throat. "Leave them alone or I'll feed you to the sharks. Understand?"
"Yes." Nica gulped nervously.
"Now run." Joy threatened, Nica gets back up and runs away.
"Joy? How did you know we were here?" Lynn asked.
"Kenny told your mother everything. So she ordered me to rescue you two." Joy said. "But I can see you're already rescued."
"We're about to head back to the palace." Luna said. "Except for Lincoln, he's going to hang out with Ronnie Anne."
"Alright. Let's head back to the palace." Joy said.
"Hang on Joy." Lola said as she walked up to Lincoln and hugged him. "Thank you for saving me and Lynn. I guess not all humans are bad."
Lincoln hugged Lola back and then they parted from the hug. "Don't mention it Lola. I guess not all merfolk aren't so bad after all."
"Traitor." Lynn glared at Lola and crossed her arms.
"I'm also sorry for saying the other mermaid princesses can do better than you." Lola said.
"Don't you have something to say Lynn?" Luna asked as she glared at Lynn.
Lynn groaned and rolled her eyes. "Fine. I'm sorry for insulting your dead mom Lincoln. Happy?" Lynn said as she asked back to the ocean and dove into the water.
"Wow that was forced." Lincoln said.
"Just give her some time dude." Luna said. "She'll come around. See you tonight." Luna said as she, Lola and joy walked back to the ocean and dove into the water.
"So I guess, you'll back in Atlantis?" Ronnie Anne asked.
"No. I'm staying away from the ocean." Lincoln said. "I'm still planning on moving to a land lock state."
"But you said not all merfolk aren't all bad?" Ronnie Anne questioned.
"I still stand by that. But Lynn and Carl on the other hand, they're both one step away from being Aquaman villains." Lincoln said as he begins to walk away leaving Ronnie Anne behind.
"We're not all bad man!" Ronnie Anne said as she chased after Lincoln. "I'm not!"
"Yeah I know. Like I said before, you're cool and such." Lincoln said. "That's not going to stop us from being friends."
"Yeah I know." Ronnie Anne replied. "But I have an idea."
"Same here. But let's say it at the same time." Lincoln said as Ronnie Anne nodded.
"We both tell Clyde and Sid about our secret." Lincoln and Ronnie Anne both said. "Wait what?"
