Chapter 69 Injustice 8

Hibiki was out as he looks for the things he needs, he arrived at a mountain that was outside of Metropolis.
"So this is where it was kept."
He goes inside and looks around for anything, he kept going down the path before he saw a green glow.
"Yes, there it is."
Hibiki goes inside the entrance and saw a big rock of Kryptonite.
"Lex said this was lost for a long time, Batman didn't try and get it because Superman had his eyes all over this area and didn't want to kill him."
He goes down and checks the stone, then lighting came as Raiden appeared from it.
"It seems you wish to use Superman's weakness." Raiden said.
"It's the only way to stop him." Hibiki said.
Raiden looks at the rock. "What do you plan to do with it?"
"To make a special weapon and armor." Hibiki said.
"I see, you wish to use your protection to make sure your not affected. While facing Superman with it." Raiden said.
Hibiki nodded as he mines some materials, Deathstroke came in a radiation suit. "Your really a crazy one."
"You gotta take a chance." Hibiki said.
He shrugs before he helps carry some of that stuff out to a airship that was parked.
The villain Girder came and saw the ship. "What? Kryptonite. I must warn-"
He got zapped as Raiden appeared.
"You will do no such thing. Stand down." Girder said.
"No, I will make sure you fall." Girder got up.
Raiden frowns. "You were warned." He goes into a stance.
Girder punches with Raiden blocking his attacks as they traded blows, he picks up a rock and throws making Raiden blast it.
"Lightning!" Girder said.
"I am god of lightning." Raiden frowns.
Girder attacks while Raiden dodges all of his attacks before teleporting behind him, he then zaps him making the villain scream.
Raiden strikes him away as Girder falls down, Raiden charges up getting ready for another round.
Girder punches the ground and gets up, he then picks up another boulder and throws it making Raiden dodge by teleporting, Girder tackles him and punches at Raiden many times.
"I will send you to Superman!"
Raiden looks at him as his eyes glow, he blinded the villain making him cry out holding his face.
"My eyes!"
Raiden knocks him off and strikes him many times before blasting the villain down.
"You should have listed to my warning." Raiden said.
Hibiki came. "Lord Raiden."
"It's alright, this villain has been taken down." Raiden said.
"I'll have him be arrested." Hibiki said.
"No, i'll be doing it." Raiden grabs Girder and teleports away.
"That's lord Raiden for you." Hibiki said.
"Hey." He looks at Deathstroke. "The stuff is set."
Hibiki nodded and he goes to the ship before they fly off, they managed to return back to the base.
The rider starts to work on the kryptonite as he hammers on pieces breaking them before he picks up the pieces reshaping the rock.
"With this, we will be able to stop that mad man." Hibiki said.
Raiden sent Girder to a cell before he walks forward. The vision of the counterpart to this world still worries him.
"If that other half returns than we must be ready."
He saw Sub-Zero and Scorpion trade blows with each other as they grunted.
Raiden nodded since they're training in they're new suits will let them get better for the future battles.
"If Superman is not stopped, Earthrealm will be in danger too." He said.
Hibiki kept working as a green glow covers the entire place, outside was a hazard logo to make sure nobody entered without a protective suit.
Lex came with a suit on. "Is it going well?"
"Almost." Hibiki looks at him.
"I can assist you in making this armor if you wish." Lex said.
"Very well." Hibiki nodded.
The two of them worked together as they need to get this done before the big battle against Superman.
"How is the situation with Superman?" Hibiki asked.
"Not good, he is wondering if there is another Lois." Lex said.
"But the one in Shun's world is still a child." Hibiki said.
"He has no idea yet. If I told him that than it would be suspicious. It's best he never tries with her. Lois there is too innocent to be involved in this as she's got a entire life ahead of her after school." Lex said.
He doesn't want the other Lois to even suffer as she's got a good future in the Daily Planet and doesn't want Superman to change her.
"Yes, a girl that young should be enjoying her life in school and friends. Not be involved in these wars." Hibiki said.
Lex moves a big mechanical arm to lift a big chunk. "With this, it will be our back up in case the first Kryptonite doesn't work."
"Then Superman can be contained after the battle. Is there any other dangers we should know?" Hibiki said.
"Doomsday, if the Kryptonite is strong enough we can stop him." Lex said.
"This Doomsday must be dangerous." Hibiki commented.
"Yes, he can adapt to anything that attacks him. If we hald Gold Kryptonite even just a little would be enough to stop that monster." Lex said.
With Superman putting Doomsday under control, they have to face that thing in the future.
Hibiki is worried about this Doomsday. "Then it's best we find any shards of this Gold Kryptonite."
He will keep on searching, just for that rock to be found. Without it, it will be even more dangerous without the others to help out.
Then they all heard from Batman that Ghost found a new ally and she will come soon.
"A new ally?" Hibiki goes.
They all look and saw Supergirl enter with Ghost.
"Hello there everyone." She smiles.
Many got surprised to see her as she's Superman's cousin and the only one that has the strenght to face him. They wonder how he found her but with Supergirl they have a better chance.
Note: Hibiki has been getting more Kryptonite for the group as he has a plan to face Superman, also Supergirl appeared and she had a reason in the Ghost side, Girder is a lesser known villain of DC.
