"So substitute the expression 2x3 for the variable y in the other equation?" Naruto scratched his head as his eyes trembled looking at the paper. Man why was this stuff so hard?

He really wanted to cry. He only now realized punching stuff wasn't hard at all! It wasn't Kaguya or Madara who were his nemeses. It was this!

He wondered if civilians back home had to go through this hell. He wiped a tear at the thought. He would have definitely banned this if he was Hokage.

'That's not the only thing though' Naruto's eyes twitched at thought. For some reason Mina seemed to be losing more and more clothing every time they went to sleep. It was passed off as an accident first.

"Ahhh~ I'm sorry Naruto. It would seem I forgot my socks won't you forgive me for this folly?" She batted her eyes bashfully at him.

Then she said she was trying something new.

"Well Naruto I've been hearing how people in the United Kingdom like sleeping a bit less clothed. I just thought to try." She shrugged a bit sheepishly but was clearly unrepentant.

Then she made it out as his fault.

"Who told you to have such a hot body?! You should be happy I'm willing to accommodate you! Now shut up and turn around! I'm your queen!" She bared her fangs at his resistance as he turned around a tear dropping from his eye as he was snuggled.

Shaking off the thoughts he looked up hearing her.

"Indeed you've gotten much better Naruto. For someone who seemed to have never touched a math problem ever, it's impressive." She told him genuine in her compliment as she leaned over his shoulder looking at the paper with narrow eyes.

"Hmpf." Naruto snorted looking down but couldn't help the smile that broke out. For some reason that felt a bit better than making a jutsu and getting praised for it.

"Oi."

"I'm sorry you're just so cute when you're happy." Her tone held no apology as she took back her hand from his cheek. She couldn't resist it.

He was becoming more familiar with her touch and she'd reap those rewards thank you. It wasn't a long time for others perhaps but she was not another.

For a bit there was only the scratching of a pencil on paper and a low voice of someone correcting another.

"Finally!" Naruto rested the pencil down as he celebrated. He could feel the brain throb and was happy to be done.

Mina took the paper scanning through it before nodding. It was with some guidance but he still did it well enough. She glanced at him hearing him speak to her.

"So how is your uhh…espionage going on Mina?" Naruto pushed away from the table spinning around on his rolly chair. Man these humans in this place really invented some neat stuff.

"Espionage Naruto?" Mina giggled following him step for step.. Where did the blonde come up with these things?

"Well what else do you call it? You're trying to find information on who's the mastermind right?" Naruto glared at her as he rolled away, staying out of her reach. If she wanted to be like that, don't blame him for being ruthless!

"I'm the ruler of this Nation, Naruto~." She sighed out, narrowing her eyes as she was unable to pin him down. This blonde may be strong but she would not lose to him on a chair!

"Uh huh? What does that mean exactly?" Naruto spun around her, easily evading the lunge. She was a bit too young to catch-

'Hmmmm?' Naruto blinked as he paused that stupid thought.

Mina immediately tackled him out of the chair using enhanced strength. Getting off his chest she smiled uncaring for his bland eyes and the broken chair.

"It means I'm covertly looking for terrorists. Espionage is the act of sending spies to another country. This one however? Is mine." She cleared it up for the blonde.

Feeling the pieces of the chair drop from his back Naruto nodded with a "Ahhh." of realization.

"So how is that going?" He asked again. He felt it was a bit expected to ask really. He was already a bit involved-

More than a bit actually now that he remembered. So it was prudent to ask really.

"Hah~ Don't remind me" Mina sat on the table. Crossing her leg she looked at the 'human' sitting up.

"Both humans and Vampires alike are disappearing like flies and-" She shook her head sighing.

"It'd seem they were either already in on it before coming to the bund or they're being controlled." She mused looking at him.

"There's also someone with quite a bit of backing supporting them. There would be no other way for them to hide such a large amount of vampires under my eyes without others covering for them."

"Hmm." Naruto hesitated hearing it. Sounded like a pretty simple problem to him but clearly it wasn't the same for everyone else.

"Do you have any suggestions for the problem Naruto?" She tilted her head looking at him. The contemplation on his face clearly told her her guess was true.

Naruto nodded. "Want me…to help?" He stepped over the line clearly. He knew they were in a very weird situation.

Both of them knew that he would probably be able to solve the issue easily. However even so they refrained from bringing the topic up for numerous of reasons.

Naruto's reasons were that he could tell Mina wasn't entirely good. Well that wasn't quite what he meant. He knew no one was entirely good but..

How to phrase it? Ugh! He wish he knew more words!

While Naruto was stewing over his lack of vocabulary Mina was thinking of her own reasons and there were many.

The blonde was her first friend and she was loath to use him in any form of gaining power.

She also didn't want him to be close to her clandestine operations. He'd no doubt see her true self then and then what would she do?

Again she didn't want him to think she only liked him for his power and not the kind little boy he was. Still is.

Even more so she didn't want to put him in danger. It was stupid but she'd rather keep him to herself than let any curious eyes get a hold of him.

Rolling her head around she glanced around the room with anxiety. "And why do you think I want your help?" She looked away at the sudden bland look on his face. Still she was resolved to send this topic 6 feet under.

"Do you think me incompetent ? I thought you knew me better than-" She was going to continue the awful decision as the blonde caught her jaw.

Blinking she realized he was in front of her as she jumped belatedly. She felt him tilting her face upwards as he looked at her with twitching eyes.

"Mina~? Don't do that." He nearly sang, sending chills down her spine.

"Don't do what? I'm only telling you that-" no one ever called her mellow. She was as stubborn as you could get.

"Don't do this." Naruto gestured with his hand down at her, a deeply annoyed look on his face. He might not have ever been in this situation specifically but it felt far too familiar already.

"I'm sure you have some reasons for trying to push me away but don't. It's stupid." He sighed seeing her look away with an angry blush. Why was she even angry anyway? They both knew that…

"You know I don't want that."

"And I know you don't either." He smiled seeing her look at him reluctantly. Couldn't deny that huh?

"So how about we try not to hurt each other and help instead?" He released her face as he walked out of the room. He took a glance back at her, indicating for her to follow.

Feeling her chin Mina looked on as he exited. Patting her hair in distress she only now realized she almost made a very child-like mistake. What was she thinking?!

Was she always this impulsive? Wait, don't answer that.

Getting up she quickly followed after him. She could hear the blood pumping in his veins and immediately followed the sound.

"*Tap* *Tap*" She quickly caught up as he wasn't moving too quickly. Coming to the side of him she glanced at his face.

"Wanna have lunch?" Naruto simply smiled lazily. He was glad she came forward.

"Sure." Mina mumbled. She didn't hunger but any chance to consume was welcomed.

"Well you have many choices. Ramen, Ramen, Ramen, Ramen-"

"I'll have the Ramen Naruto. And next time you are not allowed to buy human foods. You are awful at it." She sighed. She had trusted the blonde to stock up on their secret stash as no one knew she could taste yet.

It was an awful decision she'd never make again. She would have to tell Vera of her newly acquired ability. Anything to get away from the massive amounts of Ramen.

Naruto's shoulders slumped but he knew he brought it upon himself. What did you expect? He never had that much money before! He was nervous and he didn't check if they offered refunds.

They didn't!

Opening the door after taking the key from the blonde Mina took a bland look at the sky high cup Ramen. They were stacked to the roof. Glancing at the sweating blonde she wondered if she needed to get him some counseling.

Making sure he knew he had a problem she walked to the couch to watch as he climbed the walls like a spider getting the noodle cups.

It was a bit surreal really.

"Here." He handed her the steaming cup before sitting down himself. Breaking her sticks Mina blew on the Ramen first having learnt her lesson.

"Sorry." Mina said after a few minutes. She thought it needed to be said really.

"Hmm. It's alright but try not to do it again. I'd rather not lose a friend." Naruto smiled at the empty ramen cup. It would definitely suck something fierce.

He was rather tired of it. Whether it was willing or not, it didn't matter.

"You understand why I don't want you to help though?" She broached the topic glancing over to him.

"Yeah. Well I know some reasons." Naruto nodded. She probably had more than he knew.

"Still I don't mind helping you out Mina." He told her again as she turned away. His friend needed help and he wanted to help.

It was that simple.

"You don't understand the intricacies of vampire society Naruto." She tried explaining. She just couldn't have him solve the problems to make more. It would just cause a headache.

That was what she thinking anyway. Before she felt a hand on her shoulder gripping it firmly.

Looking up she flinched seeing the clone of her pop up out of smoke. It glanced around before focusing on the next clone that came with laser focus.

"Then why don't you just go with me?" Naruto smiled mischievously. Seemed pretty simple and he felt a plan coming together.

"It's not that simple! I'm a queen, I can't just.."

"We can hide our identities Mina." Naruto snickered at her red face. He knew she was grasping for straws.

"I don't know the first thing about personally uprooting a foreign element. With my own hands that is!" She tried reasoning with him.

"Eh? We can just learn on the way though?" Naruto mused. It wasn't like there were any better options. Expect waiting which was proving not to work.

"But but." She looked around for anything to help her case, not finding any. Biting her lips she looked into his smug eyes feeling weird at being on the back foot.

"So wanna do it?" He smiled. It was already sealed at this point. She was just struggling uselessly now.

The girl pouted as she looked down, swearing to get revenge.

Landing down quietly Naruto looked around before pulling out the phone. He had kept it on the same screen not really understanding how to work it yet. Though he was getting better.

"It should be this way then." The blonde mused silently glancing at the nearby vampires. He smiled seeing them not even pay him a passing glance.

He and Mina already knew that vampires had an unnatural hearing for blood so they had to find a work around it before any skulduggery could happen.

She had the idea that since he could manipulate elements; he could perhaps cover himself in a slight coat of wind. It hadn't worked well at first.

Sometimes it was too strong, drawing too much attention from those with supernatural hearing. Then sometimes it would be too weak, unable to mask the sound entirely.

Luckily he had a Vampire queen to help and voila. With fine tuning he was easily able to avoid their ears. Though…it was still strange to him.

They weren't much different from humans really. They had blood pumping through their veins, and all their organs worked like regular humans. They simply didn't eat, and were much stronger.

So why could they differentiate humans from vampires? It was baffling to him.

Shaking his head he quickly made his way through the streets making sure not to get close to any Vampire. His eyes also kept a check on the cameras his eyes easily predicting there line of sight.

Looking down at his phone he turned on the screen before looking up. The image was the same so it seemed he had reached his destination.

Tucked away in the lower district, the clandestine warehouse appeared unremarkable from the outside.

No signs or markings betrayed its purpose. A single loading bay provided access, monitored by discreet security measures.

'Not that we really needed that.' He thought to himself a funny look on his face.

He jumped over the fence landing looking around as he found the entrance.

Mina had gotten way too hooked on this. He didn't realize when but clearly she had gotten some idea that they needed to do all of this. It was insane.

Closing his eyes in embarrassment he knocked on the door 7 times in a distinct pattern.

A tiny window for eyes slid open as crimson orbs peered at him.

Sighing he knocked 4 more times before the door opened. He caught himself for a second however. They were Mina's eyes, no doubt he could recognize them anywhere.

'But how is she able to see up this high? She isn't that tall-' oh.

"Mina?" He took a step back at the beautiful woman who opened the door. What the hell was going on?!

Looking at the smirk with wide eyes he gulped. He had been looking down anticipating Mina's height but that backfired massively.

"The previous form you witnessed was simply a protection from those who would wish for me to sire their kin. I have temporarily stopped aging by my will so to speak." She mused sadly spinning back around not seeing the wide eyes at the statement.

"None but my most trusted know of this form, so with adjustments." She slowly hardened her hair as it turned from a light blonde to deep black. Flicking it she smiled hearing him spit out hair from his face.

"I'll be able to completely disengage myself from anyone being able to find my identity." She glanced back at him.

"A good idea no?"

"A great idea Mina." Naruto quickly looked up from the meaty globes devouring the panties. It was not his fault! He swore!

'Oh shit.' Was Naruto's immediate thought after that. He didn't even get into it properly yet and she already pinned down what he was talking about.

"So you understand right?" He smiled with a heave of relief. He truly did not want to go into the intricacies of that conversation.

"I understand." She nodded, smiling seeing his body sag in relief.

"I don't accept it though." She giggled seeing him immediately shoot up in panic.

"You don't accept….!?" He looked at her uncomprehendingly.

"Mmm." She nodded looking at him. "How old are you, Naruto?"

Looking down at his body, Naruto didn't really know himself so he just threw out a number that seemed accurate.

"15? 16?" Probably should have checked his birth certificate before this.

Mina looked at him with happy eyes. This blonde was really earnest huh? Anyone keeping up with the conversation would already know what she meant.

"Let me rephrase that badly worded question. How old are you?" her tone changed quite a bit.

"..." Naruto looked at her with a slightly surprised face. So she figured it out huh? Wasn't too unexpected. He was being a bit stupid with how open he was with her.

She wasn't an enemy and he knew she wouldn't betray him so easily.

Still Naruto looked into her red eyes deeply. 'Now how to answer that?' He felt it would open a can of worms he did not want at all. So he settled on another answer.

"Older than 16 for damn sure." There he said.

Mina nodded delighted that he didn't completely evade. It was more than she expected to get.

"Then you realize how silly you are, right? Actually now that I think about…" She moved his hands off her face tilting her head at him.

"Shouldn't I be the one having this dilemma? I'm robbing the cradle so to speak. You're nothing more than a baby before me really." She pressed up to him feeling sly.

"You're what? 20 perhaps a bit older? Naught but a mere morsel before me." She breathed on his neck enjoying the shivers.

"You haven't even lived but a twentieth of my own life yet you bark so loudly." She punctuated the feeling by taking a nice long nibble on his throat. It was easy to estimate his mental age after interacting with him.

Unlike immortal vampires who slowly deviated from human-like behavior after a time, the blonde was still deeply steeped in it.

Naruto felt a bit awkward and mostly horny as he could feel her large chest pressing against him. Echoes of her soft skin rubbing on his exposed skin.

Still he slept with her already, told her of things he told none in this world and it didn't seem he would be getting closer to anyone anytime soon.

Though the last one was his own fault.

He was getting fond of her so he thought it would be okay. She was always vulnerable around him wasn't she? He was sure he could squish her with a slap if he really wanted.

Was what he had for her trust? She nor anyone else could kill him in this world unless he allowed it. You couldn't trust another if you didn't have weakness.

Then there would be no reason to trust. You were completely secure in yourself. He understood this concept.

"Hahhh" He sighed, wow this was complicated.

Seeing the throat stretch to the side Mina threw her hands around his trembling body happily.

"My strong blonde knight~." She giggled gleefully at the complicated look on his face.

"Has shed his armor!" She hugged him deeply, baring her fangs. Sinking them in, she slowly started the process of taking his blood. Indeed he was not human was he? She could feel the life blood sit in her stomach. It did not dissipate and she was a bit startled feeling it start to burn.

"Mmm~"

It was pleasant though as she sighed removing the fangs from his neck feeling dizzy.

Licking his neck in a daze she savored the taste of his blood. Of course she did not turn him into a Vampire.

'Oh dear.' She thought faintly. She hadn't tasted blood since he had changed her and it showed. A combination of the ability to taste even more, his own blood being invigorating and not tasting any blood for a bit did her in.

Catching her breathing heavily himself, Naruto lowered her to the ground slowly.

"What were we doing here again?" The blonde's head was fuzzy as he looked around. He completely forgot their objective and was only now coming to.

Looking down at his pants he closed his eyes in pain. He was never letting her do that again.

Less true words have never been spoken before now.

"Mmm!" Mina got up yawning as she looked around realizing she was in her room.

"I was…" She sat up trying to figure out what happened before remembering.

"Ehehehehe." Immediately rolling in her bed she giggled to herself. She just knew she was getting through to the blonde. At this rate she was sure they would-!

"Hmm?" Looking down she felt a weight on her chest as she felt around in confusion.

"Am I still in my true form?" She shifted then went back realizing it wasn't true.

Pulling down the dress that someone clearly placed on her she paused in shock.

"That's new." She poked at the budding breast in a very tiny amount of panic. She sat there for at least a minute just looking at the impossibility.

Getting up she calmly walked to her bathroom as her eyes immediately took in the difference.

"That…" She got closer seeing the slight difference in size. She had been the same for over 100 years so it was easy to point out. Her chest was defined more prominent. Her face also dropped a bit of fat as well…

'Oh that isn't good.' She thought masterfully containing her panic before turning her head hearing her communication pad ring.

Walking over to it she immediately answered already knowing only her trusted knew how to get access to her.

"Good morning you're high-...your highness you seem a bit different today." Vera looked a bit uncertain as she said so.

"Ah, is that so?" Mina smiled. So it was that noticeable huh? Of course Vera was her most trusted but it was still disconcerting.

Vera shook her head feeling it didn't make sense so she pushed on. "Your highness the mastermind behind the disappearances that you and Lord Uzumaki caught is awake and ready to be questioned."

"It was Francesca, well she calls herself Hysterica now." Vera sighed in sadness. It was never a good thing to hear a loved one be against you.

Mina blinked not at all remembering doing that and why on earth was the little girl Vera turned so long ago against them?!

"We've also freed the vampires from the Pied Piper Nanomachines that were controlling them. They should be lucid and back into your control now." Vera nodded in satisfaction. Lord Uzumaki was very crucial in that process. It was truly an impressive feat.

Scary too.

'The pied what now?' She tried keeping her face even. She failed so she turned a bit to the side so Vera didn't see her lose composure.

"I see… Veratos? I shall be down sometime soon. Wait for me." She called her by her full name letting her know she was dismissed.

With a bow Vera excused herself as the screen flashed off. Just in time for the door to open and Naruto with baggy orange pajamas coming in with a plate of breakfast.

Mina stared at him with a complicated look as he sat down on her side handing her the breakfast.

"Thank you Naruto." She blinked looking at him as he dropped onto the bed as she placed it to the side.

"Eh? No problem." He perked up turning around.

Blinking Mina wondered if he was going to tell her what happened. It didn't seem so though as he just scratched his stomach.

So she decided to ask herself. "Naruto, did you do anything extra yesterday when I passed out?"

Looking at her in confusion Naruto shook his head. "I went straight home. Didn't want to risk you getting hurt."

Moving closer she bumped into him. "You say that but Vera has told me we have not only accomplished our mission of saving the vampires. We've also captured the mastermind and destroyed their means of controlling more vampires."

"Huh?" Naruto looked at her with wide eyes. He most certainly did not-

"Clones…!" He quickly sat up remembering he had made them take their places as they left to solve the problem!

"Ah!" Mina also remembered though she had to scold Naruto a bit.

"You're more familiar than me! How can you not know they were still active?! I take it back, you're an idiot!"

"Hey it was your fault distracting me! You could have just come like normal you know?! No one told you to come all sexy and stuff!" He immediately snarled back defensively. She was right but he refused to admit it.

"tsk." Rolling her eyes at the stubborn blonde she quickly took a hold of his hands while restraining her smile.

"Quickly undo the jutsu Naruto! We need to see what happened!" She rushed him quickly.

"All right, wait! I'm getting to- have you grown?" Naruto paused looking at her hand in confusion. No it wasn't a question she definitely did!

Blushing at the intense look she glanced away "Just hurry up dummy."

"Hmm." Looking at her Naruto shook his head before forming the seals. He needed to be delicate because she didn't know how to utilize chakra, nor her yang or Ying.

'Release.' He intoned internally before feeling the rush of memories. He paused.

No. No. Not after all that resistance. There was no way that happened in any version of himself.

Yet the disgustingly smug look on Mina's face told a different story. It was so alien yet it seemed so fit on her face.

Naruto shivered.

'Why! What happened to morals?! Honor!? Dignity?!' He nearly cried. How could a clone of him fall so low? He did not recognize himself!

Naruto tried getting up quicker. He really did. Sadly for him Mina was the quicker thinker between them two.

Squeezing the life out of him she looked into despairing blue eyes with her giddy crimson eyes.

There was silence for a minute.

"Listen clones are not true representations of our sel-" He tried spinning some bullshit failing. He sadly forgot he already told her how his clones worked.

"Listen Mina!" She immediately mocked him relentlessly touching her lips feeling the phantom swelling.

It would seem the blonde was only able to trick her because he could trick himself! To think she thought she was poisoning him!

A fool she was! She was the only pure one here apparently!

The blonde did not seem to be the type at all! How could she not have seen it?

Naruto squirmed around feeling like he wanted to die as he whimpered. 'God please!'

"You understand that I'm human right? I have to live in society." She made low husky kissing noises into his ear, mocking him deeply.

Naruto simply laid dead to the world. His credibility was now shot and he'd never get it back.

"I guess we won't need to worry about you living in society! Isn't that right?! My crimson eyed Rapunzel~!" She laughed hysterically telling him exactly what he told her!

'Dang clones. Of course if you're going to die you'll do anything you want.' He thought his eyes closed in pain, unable to take it all.

Just end him.

"My little snow white surrounded by flowers! Wont you offer me your lips?! Hahahahaha!" She heaved, squeezing him tighter. She wondered where the blonde was hiding it?!

Snorting a bit she came off her high grinning wickedly resting her chin in him looking at him softy.

"I would have never thought I'd be smitten by someone offering me shoes of all things and calling me Cinderella! It would seem your clone has more game than you my dear prince." She released her hold with a smile knowing he had no more will to run.

"Hmm hmmm." Humming a nice tone she rolled him onto his back. Crawling in his chest she looked at his lips addicted to the taste. She would not be denied.

Not again.

"Will you resist again? Or perhaps I need to bring up another one of your flirty quips?"

She said softly as she leaned down looking him deep in the eyes, suddenly jealous of her own clone. She got it the easy way while she had to work for it!

Mina smiled saying a quick thanks before diving in working solely on those memories.
