A/N: I'm going to write a remake of my Sly Cooper story Human Clockwerk. It's going to be much darker than my original story. What if Harley Keener starts acting less and less human and more like Clockwerk? What if Harley started to transform physically and mentally into Clockwerk as he starts to lose his humanity and sanity as Clockwerk's darkness starts to consume him entirely until there's nothing left but pure evil and hatred. This is what it would be like if a human boy were to start becoming Clockwerk both literally and mentally. Unlike my original Human Clockwerk story in which Harley Keener is able to switch back and forth between himself, Clockwerk and Neyla at random like Jekyll and Hyde, this time Harley's transformation into Clockwerk will happen gradually instead of it happening right away like in the original story.

It will start out subtle, with minor things here and there going on with Harley mentally. Gradually, things start happening to Harley: he starts doing things that he wouldn't normally do like hurting innocent people both physically and emotionally, saying things he normally wouldn't say to people, making false accusations against Sly Cooper and his friends about them allegedly killing his family when he was eight years old among other things before eventually he starts behaving more like Clockwerk and less like himself. Harley's body will start to deteriorate internally as his human organs start to fail to be replaced by machinery and metal. He becomes cosumed by an irrational hatred of Sly Cooper and his friends as well as his ancestry like the original Clockwerk until eventually he becomes the human version and manifestation of Clockwerk himself. Until his humanity is ultimately stripped away from him and all that's left is nothing but hatred. Forcing Sly to make the difficult decision on whether or not he wants to face Clockwerk for the third time in a row and kill him along with Harley or to try and get rid of Clockwerk from Harley's body completely.

The story you're about to read is a remake/reimaginging of my Human Clockwerk story. This story will have a lot of depth and character development. It will make you question whether or not Harley's physical and mental transformation into Clockwerk is real or if he's just faking it for attention. This is the story of Harley's physical and mental transformation into Clockwerk.

The remains of what used to be Clockwerk lay in ruins in the streets of Paris, France. Clockwerk was an entirely made out of metal like the T-800 or the liquid metal T-1000 in The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. He was an anthropomorphic owl. Both his insides and outsides were made out of metal. He was damaged beyond repair. He was in a lake. There were five people who stood in front of the damaged remains of Clockwerk: three anthropomorphic animals, a male raccoon, hippopotamus and turtle along with two humans: one boy and one girl. The human boy was Caucasian with fair skin and hazel face. His brown hair was wild and wavy. The boy looked to be around the age of sixteen or seventeen. He had hazel colored eyes. He wore a grey windbreaker over matching color sweatpants. He wore Nike shoes. The human boy's name was Harley Keener.

Harley Keener was once just your average teenage human boy from Rose Hill, Tennessee who lived in the human world in the year 2018. He lived with his sister Emily and his mother Jennifer Keener (nee Josephine). He never knew his father. His father had abandoned him and his family when Harley was four years old for the supposed excuse of obtaining lottery tickets from a local gas station. He never returned back to his family. The reason for Harley's father's absence is unknown. As a result, Harley grew up without a father. One day in 2018, a mysterious act of mass genocide swept his world that wiped out half the entire population of his world for no explainable reason. His mother along with 50% of the entire population of his world were turned into dust. That devastated Harley and his sister Emily. Then, about a week later both Harley and Emily got sucked into the world of the Sly Cooper games while trying to clean out their basement of their house.

Harley and Emily soon met a raccoon thief named Sylvester "Sly" Cooper and his friends Bentley and Murray during a heist in a museum in Cairo to steal back the Clockwerk parts. Harley soon joined the Cooper Gang. He had helped the Cooper Gang steal back the Clockwerk parts from the Klaww Gang, a criminal organisation who used the Clockwerk parts for various illegal activities. The Cooper Gang eventually stole almost all the Clockwerk parts, not before Jean Bison managed to steal back the Clockwerk parts from the Cooper Gang to sell them to a flightless bird named Arpeggio. Arpeggio then reassembled the Clockwerk parts back together. Constable Neyla then merged herself with the Clockwerk mainframe to become Clock-La, an unholy amalgamation of Neyla and Clockwerk in one body. Sly Cooper along with an Interpol officer named Inspector Carmelita Fox teamed up together to defeat Clockwerk again like they had done previously two years prior at a volcano in Russia. They successfully defeated Clockwerk again, which brings us to this moment.

Harley watched as Bentley volunteered to go inside of Clockwerk's mouth to retrieve the Hate Chip, a microchip that was the power source of Clockwerk from inside the beak of Clock-La. Bentley walked over to the damaged remains of Clock-La. A holographic representation of Neyla appeared from within Clock-La's mouth.

"I hate you, Cooper Gang! I will find you in your sleep and I will destroy you. You will never know a moment's peace for the rest of your short miserable lives. The Clock-La will seek revenge! I am revenge! I am an apex predator!" Clock-La proclaimed.

"You ain't shit! Die in hell!" Harley yelled at Clock-La. He then started to walk toward Clockwerk's head. His sister tried to stop him from going near Clockwerk.

"What are you doing?!" Emily asked her human brother.

"I have to help Bentley!" Harley told his sister. Harley walked over to where Bentley was at. He was busy trying to remove the Hate Chip from Clockwerk's beak. The human boy helped the turtle out. Murray held open Clockwerk's beak. Harley and Bentley both found the hate chip of Clockwerk. All of a sudden, the beak suddenly closed down on Bentley's legs and Harley's left hand. Harley felt his hand being crushed down by the weight of Clock-La's heavy beak. His hand was crushed as if it were made out of glass. Harley's body was pinned to the ground by Clockwerk's beak. He was feeling an unbelievable amonut of excruciating pain course through his hand and up his forearm. Harley had never felt that type of pain before. Murray lifted Clockwerk's beak up, freeing Harley's hand from Clockwerk's beak. Blood poured out of his hand profusely. His hand was horribly mangled and crushed beyond recognition. His hand looked like as if it had been crushed by a combination of a wood chipper and a hydralic press all at once. Murray picked up his turtle friend's unconcious body and ran back to where Sly and Emily where at.

Harley was about to run away when suddenly, Clockwerk's body exploded violently. The explosion was fierce. Clockwerk's metallic body parts flew in all directions. The human boy's body got hit by the shockwave of the explosion. He landed into the water of the lake. Harley struggled to stay afloat in the water. He slowly swam toward a piece of land. He got up onto the ground back where Sly, Bentley, Murray and his sister Emily were.

Harley Keener felt like a hero in this moment. The teenaged human boy just finished defeating a metallic owl creature known as Clock-La, a.k.a. Clockwerk, an evil archenemy of the Cooper Clan. He stood at the wreckage of the being that was once Clock-La/Clockwerk. Harley's left human hand was horribly mangled by Clockwerk's beak crushing it to pieces. Harley was trying to help Bentley retrieve the hate chip that would obliterate Clockwerk forever from the inside of Clock-La's metallic beak, when suddenly, the beak crushed Bentley's legs along with Harley Keener's left human hand. Harley's hand was in an indescribable amount of pain. Harley's hand was so mangled that he could barely make a closed fist with it. It was bloody and ruined.

Harley wasn't sure if he would ever feel any sensation from his hand ever again. It was bad enough Harley lost his right hand in a accident involving super glue a few years prior that resulted in Harley's right hand being amputated because he thought it would be a good idea to super glue his hand to a table in his garage while doing a wood shop project for school. He had to get his right hand replaced with a prosthetic bionic hand, while his left hand was okay. Only one of Harley Keener's hands were bionic. Now, it looked like his left hand was going to be replaced with a prosthetic and hopefully bionic left hand.

Harley Keener's little sister Emily was beyond mortified when she saw what happened to Harley's right hand after it had been crushed by Clockwerk's beak. She was standing beside Harley. Harley's hand tingled fiercely like it was stiff. It was like the burning sensation you would get if your limbs became stiff and you tried to move them, only it was worse. It felt like his hand had been lit on fire. An Interpol helicopter landed behind Harley. Inspector Carmelita Fox of Interpol emerged from the chopper. She saw a human boy who looked to be around the age of 16 or 17 standing there motionless in front of her. The vixen cop walked toward the human boy to see if he okay or not. Carmelita stood beside Harley and Emily.

She looked at Harley's right hand and saw it was crushed and mangled. Harley's hand looked like as if it had crushed by a combination of a wood chipper and a hydraulic press all at once. She felt upset about what happened to the boy's hand. Harley turned around to see a anthropomorphic vixen with azure wavy blue hair wearing a jacket and a bustier (a wearable bra that women often wear) with dark blue pants and knee high boots staring at his broken right hand.

"My hand feels really numb." The human teenage boy said out loud. "It's tingling. Almost like the sensation you would feel if your limbs went stiff and if you tried to move them."

"Can you make a fist? Are you able to move any of your fingers?" The raccoon asked Harley. Harley tried to see if he could move any of his fingers of his right hand. He could move only his index finger and part of his thumb. Every other finger was unmovable. It was painful for Harley to move his index finger and thumb. This was worse than the time he accidentally superglued his left hand to the table in his garage and he couldn't remove it from the table. At least his left hand wasn't in a tremendous amount of pain when it happened. That was nothing compared to what his right hand had felt when it was crushed by Clock-La's beak along with Bentley's legs. Harley was fortunate that Clock-La's beak didn't break his wrist.

Suddenly, Harley saw Clockwerk's damaged eyes lock onto his own eyes from a distance. They glowed brightly and were flashing slowly. Harley suddenly felt like he was in a trance like he was hypnotized or had drunk three whole bottles of Jack Daniels Whiskey in one go and had a sudden hangover. Harley started to feel dizzy. He slowly walked toward the glowing yellow eye of Clockwerk. He began to walk slowly toward the metallic owl. Sly noticed his friend in a trance and was walking toward the Clockwerk eye. He tried to stop Harley from going near the damaged remains of Clockwerk. He yelled at Harley to get away from Clockwerk. Harley didn't hear Sly's comments as his hearing was blocked out with an intense ringing noise that reverberated inside of his skull. He felt extremely dizzy. He had never felt this way before in his life. His vision was suddenly filled with vivid random imagery.

Harley continued to walk closer to Clockwerk's eyes. Sly and Emily tried to drag Harley away from Clockwerk's eyes. They weren't able to touch Harley's body. It felt like his entire body was covered in some sort of invisible impenetrable aura. Once Harley was close enough to Clockwerk's eyes, Harley was forced to drop to his knees in front of Clockwerk. He suddenly felt compelled to touch Clockwerk's eyes. Upon touching the eye, his body suddenly filled with immense energy. More energy than Harley Keener's human body could or would ever be able to handle. His body suddenly felt cold. Not ice cold like he was dead but the kind of cold your body would get when the temperature was in the single digits in the winter time. Harley felt like a vacuum was being forced inside of him and was sucking his body out like the Dementors from Harry Potter when they sucked the happiness from the characters mind and body away from them. Harley continued to stare into Clockwerk's eyes. The human boy was at this point feeling like he was struck with intense vertigo. Time felt like hours to Harley. Time seemed to stop around him. Carmelita took Clockwerk's hate chip and snapped it in half like it was a twig with her bare hands. The Clockwerk eyes stopped glowing. Clockwerk's body deteriorated rapidly with age. It withered away to nothing.

Harley started to close his eyes as he began to pass out. Sly, Emily, Murray and Carmelita gathered around Harley's unconscious body. Neither Sly, Carmelita or Emily knew what to do with Harley. They didn't know what caused Harley to go over and touch Clockwerk's glowing yellow eyes so sudden. In a matter of minutes, Harley went from having his hand being crushed and mangled by Clockwerk's beak to him being hypnotized and compelled to go toward Clockwerk's eyes. The police soon arrived at the scene. Carmelita and Emily drug Harley Keener's unconscious body into the passenger seat of a nearby police squad car. Carmelita told the officer at the wheel to drive Harley to a nearby hospital.

The officer, who was a female mouse took one look at the human boy's unconscious body and his crushed right hand and drove to the hospital with the boy. Sly hoped that Harley would be okay. Little did anyone realize that destroying Clockwerk would be the least of their worries as Clockwerk had successfully transferred his soul into the human body of Harley Keener. Little did anyone realize that this was the beginning of Harley Keener's slow mental and physical transformation into Clockwerk.
