It was a peaceful day like any day until multiple bad omen signs occurred throughout Teyvat. One day multiple demonic portals open up around Teyvat and many demons and abyssal creatures came out all over the Tevyat without warning much like the Cataclysm that happened 500 years ago. They are led by a mysterious group and their goal is unknown.

1. One Fallen from Grace

Chapter 1 The One Fallen from Grace

Mallet Island

The seal to the human world was about to break and the Demon Emperor was about to resurrect. Dante, Son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparta, heads to Mallet island to prevent the resurrection. After he reached the island, he came across a tough opponent in black heavy armor, Nelo Angelo.

Nelo Angelo-The Black Angel of the Underworld.

Nelo Angelo's body is heavily armor in olive green or jade armor with blue line pulsating across it to indicate how much damage he takes and a purple cape. He has a humanoid helmet with orange glowing eyes and horn coming from the top but point downward.

"Finally, someone with some guts in this dump." Dante smirks.

The current area they were in was not suited for their fight. Nelo motion his head to follow him and they go outside to a open area.The two fought and Nelo Angelo nearly defeated Dante until he saw his amulet and retreated.

Elsewhere in Tayvat Centuries Ago

A long war among the Archorns reaches a conclusion. Each element Pyro, Cryo, Geo, Dendro, Hydro, Ameno and Electro had one Archon to govern the element. After the new seven were chosen they returned to their country. Once the Electro Archon return to her home, she summons her kagemusha which acted as her body double. She was the younger twin sister of the Archon. Makoto and Ei were twin gods. Makoto was more peaceful and while Ei was more of a warrior. The idea of Eternal was first intruce. Makoto idea was the here and now moment while Ei look to the future. After a long period of time the Cataclysm struck the land and Ei was off the island.

Mallet Island

Dante would confront Nelo Angelo two more times before he defeated him. During their last confrontation Nelo waited patiently for Dante so he could seattle the score.

"A man with guts and honor. I like that but it's a shame you serve Mundus."

Nelo Angelo would remove his helmet and unleash his demonic power. The two would battle one battle one last. After their fight concluded Nelo Angelo float up and disappeared if blue blaze. A small object fell in his place. Dante walks towards it and the object was around Dante's neck. It was the amulet given to him and his brother for their birthday, a present from their mother.

"Vergil. Dante. Happy birthday." Dante held the other half of the amulet to his head.

Dante realized who it belonged to and was angered by this. He took the amulet with him and his father's sword transformed into its awakened state. Dante heads out to confront Mundas.

Dimensional Space

Dante would confront the Demon Emperor.

"Those eyes, deep in them I see that light that Sparda had." Mundus started off.

"Why my mother?" Dante asked.

"That useless being? If you need a mother, I can create it, as many as you want."

"Silence!"

The two begin their battle.

Elsewhere in Inazuma

Ei would learn of Makoto wearabouts and rushes to her side however by the time she reach her elder sister she was too late. Ei held her dying sister in her arms and during her final moments she would pass on her sword the Musou no Hitachi. After the loss of her sister others that were close to her would be lost. Mikoshi Chiyo was swollen by a monster. After being in its stomach she would be corrupted by the monster and later attack Ei. The once friends and now enemies. Ei would cut off a arm and horn causing Chiyo to flee and most likely die from her wounds. Sasayuri Genshin, who also serve Ei for a long time die in a civil war in Obashi Island. The last friend Kistune Saiguu was lost during a dark disaster. Ei had lost her smile and grew cold after the lost of family and most of friends.

Mallet Island

After a long fight and with the help of his father's sword, Dante defeated Mundas. Dante would return to the main chamber where he met Mundus, there was a body laying on the floor. The demon Trish laid there. Trish would protect Dante's from a attack from Mundus much like how Dante's mother protected him when he was a child. Trish was created to look like his mother and lure him to the island. Dante's would leave behind the amulet given to him by his mother Eva and his father's sword.

"This belong to my mother and now I'm giving it to you. My father is also here too. May you rest in peace." Dante says his parting words to Trish.

The whole island begins to shake and Dante heads out to make his escape. During his escape the floor collapse and Dante falls and is trapped. Shortly after, large demonic symbols appear and Mundas appears out of the gate.

"The Gate to the human is open. Dante, you are not getting away. This will be your grave." Mundus declare.

"Look around you, there is no where to go, this will be your tomb as well." Dante resolved himself for one last confrontation with Mundas.

The two would engage in battle for the last time however Dante does not have his father's sword with him. All seem lost until Trish appears and lends some of her power to Dante. Dante realized this should be enough to seattle things. Dante prepare one last attack and ready his duel pistol that are glowing with demonic power.

"Looks like we have a winner." Trish smiled.

"Jackpot." Dante says his catchphrase the he and his brother said as kids.

Dante fires his pistols and sends the Demon Emperor back through the gate. The gate began sucks things into it. The path that was block is now open and Dante and Trish made their escape. Elsewhere, the Devil Sword Sparda and the amulets both fell and were suck into the portal. Dante and Trish found a plane and made their escape. The same time the island was being sucked into the portal. After Dante and Trish escape, the whole island continued to be pulled into the portal until nothing was left.

Teyvat Night Time

A clear night sky was seen across Tevyat and falling stairs are seen across the night. The same time, these falling stars landed in different areas.

Inazuma

A land far from Teyvat was Inazuma, the Land of Eternity, two falling stars landed somewhere on the island. A beautiful and elegant figure stood on the roof of Inazuma city and watched a falling star decent from the sky into Inazuma. The same time, the head of the shrine temple glanced up at the night sky while reading a book and also noticed a falling star land in Inazuma.

Dragonspine

Elsewhere in the frosty terrain of Dragonspine which in near Mondstat the Land of Freedom, a young noblewoman strolls around the area until she notices a falling star falling overhead high in the sky.

Liyue

A lone adept follower that lives in the mountains, was talking to her master when she noticed the falling star land somewhere in the near the port and mountains. A caption on a ship having a drink also noticed the falling star.

Mondstadt

The Knights of Favonius met up at headquarters to issue out task for the day and head out into the town and go on patrols outside of city. The acting Grandmaster filling out documents in her office. The librian that appears lazy but is effecint at her job, is napping away inside the library. The captain of the recon company heads to the city to begin her day. A Sister avoid church service and waits to leave work. The strongest knight is dropping bombs in the lake after being told not to by the acting Grandmaster. The same time far away from the city two hooded figures in armor stood on a mountain top watching the city. The area was cloudy and windy. A large dragon passes over their heads.

Liyue

The streets were full of people and lively. The people of Liyue were in the marketplace selling their products to the customers. A busy secretary running errands inside the city. The same time four hooded figures were scattered around the city. They did nothing to draw attention to themselves. Each one simply observed and took notes about certain areas and people that were inside the city. The Tianquan of Liyue Qixing and owner of the floating Jade palace in the sky of Liyue, goes over official documents with her secretaries. A agent that claims to work for the Ministry of Civil Affairs and is absent most the year. She gives her report to the Tianquan. After she gave her report she looked out the window as if to notice something or someone. All she saw were the civilians going about their business.

Inazuma Several Days Later

Several days have past and the people of Inazuma city gather near a large statue. Two guards brought a restrained local and set him on his knee. They look across and saw the a woman in a kimono walking across large statue.

The woman turns around to face her subject.

Radien Shogun-Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder. Ruler of Inazuma and the one who promised Eternity for her people.

Raiden Shogun's physical appearance is that of an adult woman, with long braided violet hair behind her back and on the right side of her head is attached a hairpin with pale violet flowers resembling morning glories and a fan-shaped piece. Raiden has purple eyes and she has a beauty mark below her right eye. The sleeves of her bodysuit completely cover her arms and are looped over her middle fingers with golden rings to partly cover her palms and the top of her hands, and her nails are painted purple.

Raiden's kimono has an assortment of patterns in different shades of purple and crimson, along with a badge bearing the Mitsudomoe emblem of Inazuma tied to the front of her clothing below her right breast and a more elaborate emblem on a pauldron on her left shoulder. She wears dark purple thigh-high stockings with small diamond openings at the top and high-heeled sandals.

Shogun turns around and extends her arm. Electro energy formed in front of her hand. The prisoner's pocket began to glow and something was shaking and wiggling its way through. A small blue object came out his pocket and fly towards Shogun. The object was placed on the statue and lit up along with many others of different colors.

Narukami Shrine

A beautiful kitsune shrine maiden watch from above the unjust action of their Archon as another person losing their Vision. She simply signed from the disappointment and walks back to her duties. The same time a local had their fortune read and was not pleased about it and express his concerns about it. The kitsune stop to see what the fuss was about. The local showed her the fortune reading.

"A great misfortune will soon fall upon the land." the fortune stick reads.

The kitsune looks at the shrine maiden and she gives an uncertain look and pulls out more sticks that read about misfortune of different levels from people that came today. The kitsune looks in disbelief at all the fortune sticks talk about misfortune. She was curious and decided to test her fortune.

"Your fortune can be found in an unlikely place."

She looks at the cryptic message and wasn't sure how to make sense of it. A shrine maiden returns to the shrine out of breath.

"Lady Guuji!" Hitomi calls for the chief.

Yae Miko- Chief of the Shrine Maiden, beautiful and elusive like a fox

Miko has purple eyes and long, pink hair that is tied at the bottom. Miko wears a unique and stylized variation of clothing inspired by the colors of a shrine priestess' traditional outfit. She wears a golden head accessory accompanied by matching golden earrings.

"What is it Hitomi, why the rush?" Miko asked with a smile.

"I found something." Hitomi catching her breath.

Inazuma City

Shogun looks at the statue with all the Visions and slowly begins to walk off. While she was walking, a large noise was heard. The crowd was in shock and chatting after what just happened to the statue. Shogun turns around and sees a large crack on the statue. She looked at the area, crowd and then at the statue. The Shogun dispatch gaurds to investigate the incident.

"There is no one here capable of causing this type of damage nor foolish enough to damage the statue." Shogun thought to herself.

Shogun heads back to the palace. The wind gently blows her hair to the side as she's graceful walks back.

Meanwhile outside the city, five figures in hoods and masks were outside the city. The wind blows their robe off to the side while storm and thunder clouds are seen behind them.

*Giggles* "A storm is approaching." Masked Female walks off.

Evening Time Shogun Private Chamber

The Shogun had returned to her chambers at the end of a long day and there were no other tasks that needed to be done and she had some time on her hand. Shogun found a couple books set on the table. She reads the back of most of them and then move to the next book. Most did not seem to catch her interest until she came across one book. It was one of the books Yae recommended. The book grab the attention of alot of people in the last two weeks at Yae Publishing.

"What happens when two immovable wills collide? Sparks will fly. Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour. Could this be the Eternity the Raiden Shogun is looking for? The untold forbidden love between the Shogun and the Guuji over a man whose orgins no one could explain. Was he a man disguised a Demon or a Demon disguised as a man? Or maybe he was a Tengu or an Oni? Whatever he was he somehow caught the attention of these ladies. They would fight over him continuously on their journey to save the world."

The book manage catch the Shogun's curiosity and she turned the book to see the name of the book.

"Devil May Cry? What an unusual name for a book." Shogun gave the book an odd look.

Narukami Shirine

Miko was sitting under the Sakura tree drinking and reading her book.

"I must say, this writter has quite the imagination and to think his book is doing so well." Miko enjoying her book.

Shogun Private Chamber

"..having sufferd a tragic lose at an early age, he grew up cold and alone for many years.." Shogun reading one section.

Narukami Shirine

'"..he embark on a journey that took him to many places..." Miko reading and drinking.

Shogun Private Chamber

"..he focused only on eternity.."

Narukami Shirine

"..after being defeated in a confrontation he would disappear..."

Shogun Private Chamber

"..only to be captured and imprisioned for many years.."

Narukami Shirine

"..suffering defeat, after defeat, the man body was breaking down, reaching his limit..." Miko getting excited.

Shogun Private Chamber

"..he wondered into the land of Inazuma.."

Narukami Shirine

"..exhausted from his many battles, he laid nearly lifless in the soft lap of Guuji under the Sacred Sakura tree."

Shogun Private Chamber

"...he stood before the Shogun as proud warrior under the Sacred Sakura tree and when their eye met she felt something she had not felt in a long time.."

Narukami Shirine

"..he carried the Guuji in his arms like princess and her heart was beating so loudly they both could hear it.The Guuji wanted to savor the moment pulls the man closer to her face..."

Shogun Private Chamber

"... during one of their sparring sessions, the two fell over and landed on top of each other. They were now face-to-face inches away. The Shogun's heart race and danced while she place a hand on his face an.."

Shogun close the book and her eyes for a moment.

"Pointless squabble in the face of Eternity." Shogun stated.

The weather for the rest of the week would be talks of legends as the rain came and left within minutes.

Teyvat

The number strange bad omens that took place in Inazuma, Liyue, Mondstadt and other places in Teyvat that no one could explain and they only grew intensive over the next month. Security was increased around the city to help ease the people but the bad omens signs still occur.

A Month Later…

Mondstadt

Dark clouds were seen in the distance and several demonic symbols appeared at the bottom of a mountain and cycled through some ancient lettering and strange demonic and abyssal creatures began to appear out of the demonic gate. They took off in different directions and some headed to the city.

Liyue

A circle with strange demonic lettering appeared in the sky, mountains and near the port. Demonic Creatures with wings appeared from the sky and Hilicurls from the land.

Tenshukaku Area

A familiar figure approaches the palace doors.

"Lady Guuji." The guards pay their respects.

"Good day gentlemen, is the Shogun in?" Miko asked.

"Yes she is inside. Please enter." The guards allowed Miko to pass.

The guards noticed that Miko was carrying something with a cloth over it.

"Lady Guuji, what is that?" The gaurds asked.

"Oh this? This is something that only the Shogun needs to see." Miko smiled and walks inside.

The guards looked at each other with a confused look and shook their heads at each.

Inside the Palace

Miko walks towards the throne room where Shogun was standing. It was a large room with many decorations.

"Strange anomalies are occurring in the face of Eternity. What brings you here today?" Shogun starts off the conversation.

"Strange anomalies you say, do tell." Miko's curiosity peaked.

Shogun had a stoic expression then proceeded to tell Miko what occurred last month.

"The Archon statue mysteriously received a large crack after placing a vision in the statue.Many more strange occurrences happened throughout the month." Shogun tells Miko.

Mikos eyes widen in disbelief. She knows that not a single soul in Inazuma is foolish enough to pull a stunt like this especially in front of the Shogun.

"Well, this isn't on the same level as that however."

Miko takes a bag that contains everyone's fortune over the past month.

"What is this?" Shogun as while looking into the bag.

"That is everyone's fortune from the month."

"Why should I be concerned about this.Human life is short compared to the supernatural"

"True if were talking about the natural lifespan unless something else happenes. All of them speak of misfortune on different levels." Miko points out.

Shogun looks at Miko then back at the bag of misfortune. Miko pulls out the one she drew and hands it to Shogun to read.

"What is the meaning behind this?" Shogun asked.

"I'm just as curious as you are about it." Miko replied.

"Solider have been sent to investigae but nothing ever come up.There has been no other activity occuring out there that I should be concerned about. Although the reoccurring omens is concerning."

"Reoccurring omens?"

Shogun looks at Miko with a the same stoic expression.

"Oh, I almost forgot. The main reason I came here is to show you this." Miko walks over to the item covered by a cloth.

Shogun crosses her arms and waits. Miko pulls the cloth off and shows it to Shogun. Under the cloth was a broken katana in two pieces but it design is not one from Inazuma.

"Where did you find this?" Shogun taking a closer look.

"One of the Shrine Maidens found it coming back from town."

"Why did you bring it here and not repair it." Shogun asked while looking at Miko.

"I did attempt to repair it by taking it to the blacksmith however he told me he does not have the skills to repair such a divine work of art." Miko answered.

"Nonsense, this is just a simple katana." Shogun points out.

The same time Shogun went to touch the sword and felt a tremendous amount of power inside the sword despite it being broken. She lets go of the sword.

"I said the same thing to him and he gave me a different response. 'This work of art wasn't made by mortal hands.' That is what he told me."

Shogun looks at Miko for a moment.

"Not made by mortal hands?" Shogun repeated while looking at Miko and back at the sword.

Shogun motioned her finger and the broken sword pieces began to float towards her.

"Touch the sword." Shogun tell Miko.

Miko waves her hand to deny wanting to touching the sword but Shogun grabs her hand and place it on the handle of the sword. Miko felt the tremendous power within the sword despite it being broken. The sword gave a faint response when Miko and Shogun both touch the sword. Shogun and Miko took their hand off the sword. The same time Shogun puts some distance between her and the sword. Shogun extended her arm as if to reach for the sword. A Electro symbol appears in front of her hand as she begins to concentrate on repairing the sword. After a moment she stop while trying to catch her breath.

"Is this simple sword too much for the Mighty Shogun?" Miko smiled at Shogun.

Shogun just looks at Miko and then at the sword again. A purple ring form behind her. Electro energy began to fill the ring and Shoguns eyes lit up.

"This time you will assist me. Focus on repairs it." Shogun instructed.

"What a pain. Alright." Miko grumbling.

The two began to concentrate on repairing the broken sword.

Outside Inazuma City

A unknown force was making it's way to the unsuspecting citizen in Inazuma city. A portal opens up from the ground and a demon appears. Hell Caina.

Hell Caina- The Cleaving Vanguard.

Large skeletonal figure in a dark hood and thorny crown. They have a black robe and wield s mighty scythe.

.The demon sees a civilian tending a field. The civilian tending the field see a shadow hovering over him. He looks up and see a strange creature with a scythe already raised. The demon gave a chucking sound and cut down the civilian. A woman walking by sees what happens. The demons turns its head and sees the woman. The demon begins to run towards her while dragging its scythe. The woman runs and screams. Two guards in the area hear the scream and rush in that direction.

The guards reach the area they heard the scream come from and saw the demon attacking the woman. They rush in to save the woman. The demon prepared its scythe but the guards were able to hold the demon off for a brief moment. One of the guards instructed the woman to alert the other guards. She followed his instructions to get more help meanwhile the guard is surprised at how strong this weak looking creature is holding in off two of them. The demon pushes the two soldiers off and cuts down one of them. The soldier was covered in blood.

The demon ready it's scythe to slaughter the soldier but was stop by taking a arrow to the knee. Two spears pikes were jammed into the demons chest and was forced back.

The demon gets back up but was shot by multiple arrows before it fell down. Kujou Sara arrives at the scene andopl assesses the situation. She hears a noise and looks out in the distance and see multiple strange portals open as more of the demons appear in addition to a few rift hounds appear. Sara grints her teeth after looking ahead. She hears a noise and sees the other demon they supposedly slain. Sara leaps backwards and fires a electro charged arrow at the demon's head and it falls down and disappears. She looks back out at the incoming demons.

Kujou Sara-General of the Tenryu Commission. The devoted one.

Kujou Sare has a indigo hair cut into and unevn bob with pale skin and golden. She is also a Tengu that has two pairs of wings on her back but usually does not display them.

"This isn't good. We must inform the Shogun at once!" Sara commanded.

Inazuma Palace

Shogun and Miko continue to focus their energy on repairing the mysterious sword.

"This thing is quite troublesome. Are we even making any progress." Miko

"We are making process. Again and do not stop." Shogun command.

Shogun and Miko once again focused everything on the sword. The focus was so intense the room was shaking. The broken sword was slowly moving back together. Shogun noticed the broken sword slowly move closer and concentrated harder. The two put everything they had into it repairing the sword. The broken pieces come together and cause little explosion.

The Yamato has been repaired. Smoke was everywhere but nothing was damage. Shogun and Miko saw the sword surrounded in a blue fiery aura and cracking with demonic power. The sword fell to the ground shortly after. Shogun and Miko approach the newly repaired sword and look down at it. Shogun extended her arm out to reach for the sword. Miko stop Shogun for a moment.

"What are you doing?" Miko asked Shogun.

"This may sound strange but it was calling out." Shogun replied.

"Calling? What did.." Miko's ears flickered and she looked at the sword.

"You hear it too? A voice." Shogun asked Miko.

"Power. Give me more power? What does that mean." Miko not sure what it means.

The sword faintly flickered and was silence afterwards. Shogun and Miko continue to wait and see what would happen next but the doors palace. A wounded soldier knee to his Electro Archon.

"Forgive my intrusion, I will accept my punishment after I deliver this urgent message." Soldier pleading.

"What's the situation?" Shogun suspected something is wrong just by looking at the soldier.

"Our great city is under attack. Commander Kujo is currently engaging the enemies."

"Who is it?" Miko asked.

"Lady Guuji. We are not certain as we have never seen these creatures before however rift hounds have also been spot along with them."

"Rift Hounds. A troubled demon has appeared." Miko points out.

Shogun summons her pole arm the Engulfing Lighting and heads out.

Inazuma City

Shogun rushes out to the city and to that it is partially overrun by demons., Hell Caina, Hell Antenora and Hilcurls. She sees the demons overwhelming her soldiers and civilians fleeing. The soldiers could handle the Hilcurl the the problem came from the other two.

Hell Antenora- Brutal Berserker

Hell Antenora, take a Hell Caina and torture it to the point of insanity and this is what you get.

Shogun quickly analyzed and made a swift decision. The same time Miko recognized that they are some kind of demon but stronger and faster than the ones they know about.

"Solider! Move the civilians to safety near the palace!" Shogun commanded.

"As you command, Almighty Shogun."

The soldiers begin to move the citizens.

"These creatures are enough to overwhelm the soldiers." Shogun thought to herself.

A Hell Caina prepares to strike a civilian but was stopped by Shoguns blade. The demon struggled to move its scythe. A soldier came to escort the the civilian to safety. The demon roars at Shogun.

"How unsightly." Shogun looking down on the demon.

Shogun cuts down the demon from the torso to the waist. It's body slide off and falls down. She spots a few Rift Hounds along the roof and chases after them. Shogun leaps towards the rooftop and cuts hound in half. It's split in half with purple blood shootibg out from the inside. A few more hounds show up to attack Shogun. Shogun dodges and parries their attack leaving them open for a moment. She thrust her polearm through one hounds mouth piercing its head. Turns around and cut another clean in half with a downwork strike and the hound she delivers a powerful low to high attack followed by kicking the hound backwards. The hound was about to rush forward but it slipt in half and fell off the roof. Shogun slash her polearm wiping the blood off her weapon and jumps back onto the street. A few more Hell Caina appeared far in front of the Shogun. She tightened her grip and readyed her polearm. A few Electro charged arrows passes by her and landed in the demon's head killing them. Kujo Sara enters the area.

"Pardon my delay, Almighty Shogun. There are still many more these creatures to deal with." Sara taking a knee.

"Do not worry. Ensure the civilians make it to the palace grounds." Shogun commanded.

"Mighty Shogun, what about the remaining creatures?"

"Those you may handle as you see fit but not these." Shogun keeping her eyes facing forward.

Sara looks forward and sees two people in blacks robes with a fox mask. They both were on the same street as Shogun and Sara. The clouds darken and thunder and light began to flash. Multiple lighting bots went off in the city, striking down the demons. Shogun closed her for a moment.

*Thunder and Lightning SFX*

She opens her eye and they were lit up. Sara follows the Shoguns instructions and takes off. One of the masked men extended their arms to attack Sara as she was leaving but was stopped by a fox sin eater.

"My, my, someone is looking for some fun out here." Miko walking up next to Shogun

Shogun briefly looks at Miko with her eyes then back at the enemy in front.

"Shouldn't you be with the citizen?"

Shogun asked Miko while looking forward.

"They are being attended to, so no worries. The things that are taking place here seem to be more interesting." Miko replied.

"Stay alert. They are coming."

The rain slowly began to fall. One of the masked men draws a swords and charges in at Shogun. Shogun readies her polearm and runs in as well.

Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko vs the Mystery Masked Opponents

The masked man starts off with a fury of thrust but Shogun blocked and dodges them and follows up with her own attacks of horizontal and vertical slash. The masked man would block the incoming attacks. Shogun would continue with her offense forward. Shogun goes for a hign to low slash but the mask was able to block and counter a horizontal slash Shogun dodge the attack by ducking and counters with powerful low to high strike (Charge attack) that knock the mask man into the air briefly and as he fell back to ground, Shogun rotates her body 360 degrees and smacks the masked man. The mask man uses sword to breaks his fall and then gets back up. Shogun close the distance between them.

The masked man delivered a hard kick to Shoguns head that lift her off the ground but she reacted quick enough to land on the ground and delivered a hard smack that sent the masked man in the concert wall. The masked man looks up and sees Shogun with her weapon ready to take his head off. He quickly rolls out the way and dodges her attack. A couple of Berserkers came at the Shogun. She dodge and parries their attacks with grace and elegants. After one attempts to attack her again, she embedded her polearm with Electro and after parried the next attack she cuts its head and blood sprayed out. The other two appears behind here ready to strike her down with their weapon's raised. Shogun sense them behind her.

*Clang*Clang*

The Shogun disappeared and reappeared smacking their weapons back. She followed up cutting one in half with a powerful low to high slash (Charged attack) and the she cut from the shoulder to the lower torso. The demons fell and blood sprayed everywhere.

Miko's side

Meanwhile, Miko and the maskman were engaged in combat. Miko launched her fox sineater at her opponent but her opponent dodged the incoming attack and return fire with a quick session.

"Right here."

Miko would gracefully dodge the incoming attacks while leaving behind a fox turret to strike her opponent from the distances. The opponent would dodge the attack in their own graceful way.

"Oh, looks like you got some skills too, however…"

Miko quickly waved her hand and barrage of lighting was launch forward (Miko charged attack). The oppenent return a similar attack. The attacks collided causing a explosion and smoke.

Shogun side

Shogun has lost site of her enemy but proceeds slowly down the street. The rain is slowly picking up. Shogun hears the sound of running footsteps through the puddles and stops. She looks around and soons begins to hear the sound of someone giggling in the distance.

*Sadistic giggling from unlocation*

Shogun proceeds slowly down the street with caution. While heading down the street another masked figure watches the Shogun quietly. The rain continues to come down harder making it difficult to see. Shogun continue onward until she hears a sound and faces forward. She stop and froze for a second at the figure that stood before her.

"That's not possible." Shogun in disbelief.

A flash goes off temperately blinding Shogun and the energy blast goes off hitting Shogun in the shoulders and leg followed by a strong demonic energy blast that blew her away. She grunt from the demonic energy spikes shots and then was attacked from behind, knocking her out.

Outside Near the Palace

Sara and the other guards were still gathering there citizens. Sara wondering what's taking Shogun and Miko so long and decided to check on them.

"Keep searching for more." Sara commanded.

Sara head back into town to look for the Shogun and Miko. She encountered demons and now hilicurls along the way but skillfully took them out and pressed on. Sara reaches the other side of town where everything started. When she got there she saw a unconscious and battered Miko on the ground.

"Lady Guuji!" Sara shouts.

A horde of demons appears in front of her, however she uses the speed of the Tengu to retreat backwards leaving and a Tengu Crowfeather in place. (Tengu Stormcall). The Tengu Crowfeather goes off taken some demons with it. The same time she sees an unslightly scene as sees a wounded Shogun next to Miko.

"Shogun-sama!" Sara shouts.

Sara was about run towards her fallen Archon but a powerful blast of lighting goes off in front of her sending flying backwards. Sara hits the ground hard and slowly gets up. She looks up and sees more of people in a hood with a mask. One of the mask people turns to the other and tells them something.

"Take them." Masked Female directed the other.

"Where are you taking them?" Sara shouts.

"A fate that only worthy individuals will be bestow." one answered

One the maskman opens a portal. Sara struggles to get to her feet and rescue her Archon but more demons appear and get in her way. The mask man drags Shogun and Miko off. Sara shout to Shogun as she fights off the demon horde. Shogun barely wakes and sees Sara fighting the demons and trying to reach her. She traces a line and a electro symbol appears above her head and shoots strikes the demons. Shogun looks down and sees she is being pulled into a portal to a unknown destination.

"The city will soon be ours and their strongest allies will become one of us. Spread the word that the humans Archon has fallen." Masked Female tells them

The remaining masked group members waited outside the city. News of the Shogun and Mikos defeat spread throughout the island.

Unknown location

Miko slowly wakes up and feels very disoriented while seeing a dark sky above her and surround by a demonic looking forest. She looks down and notice that Shogun and her were being dragged somewhere by one of the masked members. Miko looks to her side and sees the Shogun is next to her and attempts to wake her up. A light was slowly flickering and she slowly looked down to see where it was coming from. Miko eyes widen in disbelief while the Shogun slowly waking up and sees the Yamato sword they repaired laying on top of them and was slowly flickering while sheathed.

Close by

A cloaked figure who has fought countless battles for an unaccounted amount of time was stumbling along as his body was reaching it's limit until he stopped and felt a familiar presence. He turns in that direction and heads off.

*Heavy breathing*

"Just.. a little longer.." cloaked man breathing heavily.

Shogun and Miko Area

Shogun and Miko are suddenly no longer being dragged and the masked man turns around to face them and noticed the sword flickering. Meanwhile, not too far from Shogun and Miko, a stumble figure continues to make his way towards them and sees the masked man grabbing the Yamato. The same time Miko decided to try and get some information on their attacker.

"Just curious, why did you attack our city?" Miko asked.

The masked man who was looking at Shogun and Miko, leans in a little.

"Your city was the easiest to take over thanks to your Vision Hunt Decree." The masked man answered.

"Absurd!" Shogun in disbelief.

"The results speak for themselves."

Miko was also in disbelief on the masked man respond. She recalls her fortune teller and quickly decided to take a chance in this dire situation they are in. Shogun noticed Yamato was slowly glowing.

"Don't count our city out just yet. We still have some fight left in us." Miko smirks him.

"Is that so?" the masked man grabs Shogun by the neck and lifts her up effortlessly while he stomps Miko in the gut pinning her to the ground.

"Look how easily you are overpowered. What chance does your city stand? Yours is only the first and soon the rest of Teyvat will follow the same fate over as well."

"So Inazuma was only the start?" Miko wanted to clarify.

The mask man gave a smirk underneath his mask. He moved his foot off Miko then slams Shogun on the ground. The arm that was choking Shogun suddenly started rattling and a black liquid substances creature arose from his shoulder and crawled towards Shogun. Shogun struggled to resist but was slowly draining her strength and power the more it enveloped around her body. Shogun slowly turns her head towards Miko as the creature had almost enveloped Shogun. Miko reached out to her.They strange black substance had taken over Shogun completely. Miko was unable to move at the loss of the Shogun and long time friend. The mask man retrieved his arm.

"You will exist to give strength. I have a spot just for you. Go and find more worthy ones. Kill all who resist." Masked man commanded.

A pair of red demonic eyes lit up and a portal back to Inazuma appears and the demon left.

Ritou, Inazuma Port

A portal opened outside the town and the black demonic creature emerge from the portal. Demonic energy began to flicker and the shape of the demon began to change and harden. It grew a bit in size and it body solidify. It turned into a black feline cat. The appearance was like a large panther. The newly formed demon began wrecking havoc at the entrance. (This demon is a combination of the Nightmare and Shadow familiar. Not as powerful as the original.)

Inazuma City

Back in Inazuma City, the Tri-Commission is doing what they can to look for survivors, provide aid and security while dealing with the remaining demons in the city. They were able to gathering some information about the invaders. They were demon but much different from the ones that they knew such as the rift hounds. A few reports came in and stated there were a few stronger and larger demons spotted around the island and more are appearing. A soldier comes into the main gate informs the heads of Tri-Commission that a new demon has appeared and is wrecking Ritou port.

The soliders still feel despair after the loss of Shogun. Koujou Sara steps up and asked for some brave soldiers to aid her to stop the demon. A young man by the name of Thoma from the Kamisato clan said he will assist her.

Sara and Thoma along with some soliders head out to Ritou

"Lady Sara, how exactly are you planning to deal with these demons. They much stronger than the hilicruls that that we know?" Thoma asked.

"You right. They are much stronger than the ones we know however they can still be defeated. I witness the Shogun uses her elementary power to defeat dozen of these creatures. I tested this out myself and was able to defeat some as well." Sara explained.

"So you used your Vision while the Shogun wasn't looking?" Thoma whisper so that only Sara could here.

Sara didn't say anything due to the other soldiers being around and the Vision Hunt degree was still active. Sara suspected if they had any chance in fighting back, those with a Vision would need rise up and fight however with how tense things have been, the question comes down to weather or not the people will rise up to the occasion especially since the Shogun is gone.

"They way things are right now, it be difficult. So until we resolve this crisis I will overlook the use of the of Vision until all the demons are gone from Inazuma. I'll take responsibility afterwards." Sara explained to Thoma.

Thoma just smile and was glad that Sara understands the situation.

"I'm sure others will rise up to defend our country."

"You think so?"

"I'm certain they will because it will be a matter of life or death against these demons."

"I hope your right."

Sara and Thoma, along with some soldiers rode out to Ritou on horseback to stop the demon attack.

Unknown Location

After the demon left, the masked man grabs Miko while covering her mouth and pins her down. Miko trying to resist but the masked man's monstrous grip made it hard for Miko to break free.

"Now, it's your turn." the masked man declared.

Just like before, a black substance came out of his arm and crawled toward. Miko had a terrified look on her face since she knew what awaited her and can't stop it. The black substance began to envelope her as well. Miko feeling her strength and power fading, looked out of one eye and saw a cloaked man staggering towards them and Yamato was glowing bright blue right before the black substance completely enveloped her.

A few moments later, Miko had awoken and gasped for air. Heavily weakened, she looked around and saw that black substance was no longer envelope around her. Miko heard a noise of someone screaming in pain and turned her head in that direction only to see a cloaked man standing near her and the masked man on the floor missing an arm and crawling in a pool of his own blood.

Moment Ago…

The mask man was alerted by someone and he turned his head to see who it was.

"Who are you?" The mask man asked the cloakeded figure.

"How did he get so close?" The masked man wondered.

The cloakeded man didn't say anything and at the same time. The black substance started rattling violently and the masked man looked to see what was going on. The cloaked individual instantly grabbed his arm and threw him into a tree on the side, ripping his arm clean off in the process. The black substance tried to attack the cloaked man but was cut down instead and then exploded, releasing its victim inside at the same time.

Present Time

The cloaked man didn't say anything while wheezing.

*Wheezing SFX*

Miko wasn't sure what just happened.

"Did this person just overpowered this guy? Such strength." Miko thought to herself.

The cloaked man stood by and watch the masked man stumble to get back up while blood continues to gush out his arm.

"I'm taking this back." cloaked man declared while removing the mask man's hand and still wheezing.

*Wheezing SFX*

The cloaked man ignored Miko then was prepared to walk off. Miko tired to get his attention and reach out to him.The cloaked man hunch over and coughed.

*Coughing and Hack SFX*

"I'm running out time." cloakman struggled to stand up on his own feet.

The cloaked man draws his sword and cuts a cross motion in the air.

*Vrmm. Vrmm SFX*

Miko, still struggling to stand up and witness the man in the cloak open a portal so casually and stumbled through it.

"Hey wait!" Miko shouts at him and stumbles.

Miko's hand slid across something on the ground. It was a hair piece that Shogun wore. She hears a noise in the direction from where the masked man was thrown. She saw his mask was destroyed but his hair was covering his face. Miko summon what strength she could to stumble through portal and it closed behind her.

"Have you heard about it? The legend of the Dark Knight Sparda? Probably not, for this world had no such being. Long ago, Sparda who was also a demon woke up to justice and fought the demon king and his army alone. He seal the demon world and stayed in the human where he preserves peace and harmony. While Sparda was in the Human world, he took a human woman to be his wife and from them the Son of Sparta was born. He was half human and half demon but did you know there were two Sons of Sparta. Dante, the Legendary Devil Hunter fought to protect humans and was the younger twin. He was also the one who defeated the Demon Emperor Mundus on Mallet Island. The older twin was different. He paid no heid to humanity and sought nothing else but power and his name was Vergil. After being defeated in a previous battle, he fought the Demon Emperor but lost and was forced to serve him against his will for many years. After the events of Mallet Island he was finally free of the Demon Emperor's control over him."

Narukami Shrine

A portal opens up in the middle of the shrine. The shrine maidens and other a few other people panic and got to a safe distance from the portal. Vergil stumbles out into an area he was not familiar with but keeps moving anyway. The moon was out and illuminated the night sky.

Vergil Son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparta- A Warrior Fallen from Grace, the Darkslayer

Miko stumbled out the portal shortly after and collapsed onto the floor. She looked around and recognized the area she was in.

"This is the Narukami Shrine. I'm certain of it." Miko confirmed while looking behind her at the Sakura tree.

"Lady Guuji! Your alive."

"Lady Guuji, thank Archon."

The shrine maidens and a few other people were in shock and relief to see Miko. The shrine maidens crowded around and bombarded her with questions.

"Yes, I'm certain of that now." Miko smiled and felt relieved to be back in Inazuma.

Miko remembering the cloaked man and looked around for him.

"Did anyone see a man in cloak come through?" Miko asked them.

They had a confused look on their face as who Miko was talking to.

Near the Shrine Entrance

Vergil now away from Miko and the others, he draws his sword. Miko heard the sound of a sword drawn and spotted Vergil. Miko was curious about what he was doing with his sword and head in his direction.

"Dante." Vergil says his younger brother's name while looking at himself in the reflection of his sword.

*Wheezing SFX*

Vergil decides to seize any demonic power he can regardless of the consequences. Miko witnessed Vergil battle his obsession for power and was losing. He holds his sword with two hands and raises his arms while holding his breath.

"This isn't good. Restrain him!" Miko commands the Shrine Maidens and stumbles towards Vergil to stop him.

The Shrine Maidens began chanting a magical chant.

*Stab SFX*

*Spits blood SFX*

After stabbing himself Vergil spits up blood. Images from his imprisonment as Mundus slave flashed before him.

"Must.. discard them, those memories of enslavement branding me with defeat after defeat.That endless nightmare and torment. Must discard this feeble heart and flesh causing me to be weak. I'm not the kind of man who continues to lose to Dante at no end." Vergil thought to himself as he struggled to pushed Yamato through himself.

Miko continued to stumble towards Vergil and along the way she saw same strange black substance slowly leave Vergil's body, much like the one trapped Shogun and herself. Miko keeps moving forward Vergil.

"Heavy… chains that does freeze..my.." Vergil was in the middle of chanting something until a magical circle appeared under him and restricted his movement prevent him from pushing Yamato in.

"Lady Guuji, we have stopped his movement." Nana informed Miko

"Good work. Don't let up and hold him there." Miko instructed.

"Yes Lady Guuji."

Vergil struggles to turn his head to look around to see who was chanting the spell but instead found Miko. Miko reaches out to pull Yamato out of Vergil but he grabs the sword to push it in.

"Who dares interfere? Are they looking for a fight as well?" Vergil thought to himself.

"You're.. in..my way." Vergil struggles to push Yamato through while still wheezing.

"Heh, sorry, whatever it is your planning will have to wait. I have need of you." Miko smirks at Vergil while struggling to pull Yamato out of him.

Miko had a hard time pulling it out of Vergil and also noticed the cracked and withering parts on Vergil's hands.

"They are in my way." Vergil thought to himself.

"I..dont..care.! Now..scam!" Vergil continued wheezing.

"So cold, is that anyway to talk to a lady that is asking for help?" Miko getting angry on how stubborn Vergil was being.

Vergil and Miko continue their tug of war.

"This… has nothing.. to do with you, stany back you fool!"

"What did call me!" Miko in shocked, her eye lit up in anger.

Miko summons lighting and hits Vergil with it, causing him to let go and they both collapse on the floor and Miko dropping Yamato in the process.The Shrine Maidens along with the other people clear the area so that they do not get caught in blast.

Miko trying catch her breath and sees Yamato next to her. Vergil on the ground wheezing heavily after being hit by lightning. He looks up and sees Miko pointing Yamato at him while she was on her knees. Vergil noticed Miko shaking but it wasn't because she was afraid of him.

"Give..me that."

"No."

"You're trembling..are you afraid?" Vergil asked.

"Not the slightest." Miko replied

"You're.. weak. What.. can you ..do?" Vergil looking at Miko while wheezing.

Wheezing SFX*

"Lets agree to disagree, given our position, wouldn't you be weaker than me? You're the one who is at my mercy so your life belongs to me now."

"Don't..get full of yourself."

Wheezing SFX*

Vergil takes a look at Miko and slowly gets up and she does as well. He glanced at Miko's eyes from under his hood. Vergil has seen that look before in her eyes. Vergil attempts to move past Miko but she continually blocks his path and refuses to let Vergil leave while pointing Yamato at him. She still had that look in her eyes that says she hasn't given up yet. Vergil stopped for a moment and pondered for a moment.

"Those eyes, I've seen them before." Vergil thought to himself.

"Wont you stay for a chat." Miko out of breath.

Miko would explain the event up to Shogun and her were captured. Vergil ignores what Miko was talking and continues pondering about something.

Base of The Mountain

A few demons were running around fields until they looked up towards the mountain and began making their way up.

Narukami Shrine

Miko notice that Vergil wasn't listening to a word she was saying about getting the Shogun back but seemed to be searching for something. She heard a loud roar coming from the side the mountain. Miko she saw one of the shrine maiden run through the gate. Miko decided to check out the disturbance and stumbles and falls dropping Yamato in front of her. Miko reached out to grab Yamato but Vergil's hand picked it up. Miko looks up and sees Vergil sheathing his sword while wheezing. Vergil starts stumbling to the exit.

"Where do you think you're going in that condition? Get back here!" Miko being a assisted by the Shrine Maidens.

Vergil slowly turned around to partial see Miko again along with a few Shrine Maiden helping her up then faced forward to stumble along. Miko was about to call out to him again but suddenly two large reptile looking demons appeared out of nowhere at the entrance. The Shrine Maidens panic at the site of demons.

Riot- Brutal instincts

Riot, a reptilian demon evolved from the harsh environment of the Underworld. It has retractable razorsharp claws that can cut steel. They have muscles on their body that is equivalent to a hydraulic cylinder

"They couldn't have come at a better time?" Miko was irritated.

A few shrine maidens ran to the back of the shrine. The two demons snared at Vergil, Miko and the Shrine Maidens then dashed towards them.

*Slow motion SFX* Vergil draws his sword and cut the two demons down with inhuman speed.

*Whoosh X2 SFX*

Vergil slides across and stylishly spin sheath his sword.

*Gii Shiin SFX*

The moment he sheaths his sword, the two demons drop to the floor and disappear. Everyone was silent after what they had just witnessed.

"I'm not the only who just saw a cloaked man in critical condition just easily slay two large demonic creatures?" Miko wanted to clarify.

One of the shrine maiden shook her head in agreement while also in disbelief.

"Good. I just wanted to make sure." Miko still in disbelief.

"I've seen my share of humans and their capabilities. Most of their incredible feat are from the aid of Visions however I don't feel any elementary energy from him." Miko trying to figure out Vergil.

Miko looks at Vergil and then at his katana. She recalls what the blacksmith told her earlier about the katana. Miko came to the conclusion that there was something different about him and she needed this man, this being to aid them to get her friend back and fight off the demons.

"She is not gone. I can feel it. If there is a way to get her back, I will find it. And this man is going help me do it whether he likes it or not." Miko thought to herself while looking at Vergil.

Vergil still barely standing, prepared to take off again.

"At last.. I will .." Vergil grunts and collapse.

Miko rushed over and reached Vergil and pulled him to his back while setting Vergil in her lap.

"Oh no you don't." Miko raised her hand for a moment.

Miko jams two fingers in Vergil's stab wound and gave him a little shock with the little electro power she could muster.

"You don't just show up and leave here when you please. I say when you can leave." Miko determined to not let Vergil leave in any manner.

Vergil grunted but was breathing. Miko instructed the shrine maidens to retrieve Vergil and bring him to the center of the shrine. After they move Vergil, Miko examines the blood from Vergil that was on her hand. She got a sniff of it and looked in his direction. Vergil slipping in and out of consciousness, vaguely sees where he is being taken somewhere while hearing people talking. He starts breathing heavy and feels his life slowly fading away. The next moment it was dark. Images of a long forgotten life he once had flashed before him.

Vergil not certain if he was real or not. Vergil slowly reaches out to the image only for it to fade away in the dark and only a burning house flashes before him. Flashbacks of the burning house and demons attack flicker while his hand reaches out.

"Power… more power." Vergil uttered.

Vergil's hand began to fall but someone caught his hand and he felt a soft and warm hand hold his. Vergil felt a little bit of life return to him as he feels a warm embrace of being held, something he has not felt in a long time. Vergil slowly opens his eyes and barely sees the figure in front of him, Miko.

"Lets check on him. Count to three. One.Two.Three. Three.Two.One." Miko checks on Vergil

"Who.. are.. you?" Vergil asked while still wheezing.

"Ara, looks like his brain is still functioning if you can say things like that. There is hope for you. This is good. I'm Yae Miko. You can just call me Miko."

"Where… am.. I?" Vergil asked Miko.

"Hehe, you should worry less about that and more on how you'll thank me..no. There will be time to answer your questions later but first I need to remove the remaining impurities that are inside you. It seems to be part of the reason your in this state. I have a way to remove it but it's very risky giving your current condition and you may not survive it?" Miko explained the situation with him.

"I don't.. fear …death." Vergil replied while wheezing.

Miko surprise that Vergil could respond in that manner in his current condition. Petals from the Sakura tree fall and land on Vergil. The petals purify the area it landed on. He looks down and was surprise at what he saw and then looks back up at Miko just smiling at him.

"Look, I know we got off on a bad start given what happened recently. So how bout we start over. I'll fix you up good as new and we'll have a proper talk. You can think about how to thank me with your actions and not your words. What say you?" Miko asked.

"Why.. are you ..doing this?" Vergil asked.

"Hmm. Because that is something humans do. They tend to help each other out when they are in trouble. Why not do the same?"

"I can't have the one who saved me kick the bucket and I certainly won't let him flee afterwards. Especially after that display at the gate.Hehe. Plus this will almost guarantee that he will owe me." Miko thought to herself.

"Humans?" Vergil thought about it.

Vergil looks at Miko from under his cloak.

"Why did she save me? Why would she helped me of her own violation?" Vergil wondered.

He has come this far and had nothing to lose. Although he was a bit curious about this place and how he got here. If he somehow survived perhaps it might be worth looking into while continuing his pursuit for more power as well as why did Miko save Vergil.

"Well?"

"Do ..as ..you please." Vergil laying his head on the ground and not caring what happens to him.

"I like your answer." Miko smiled.

Miko just smiles at Vergil's response followed by her instructing the Shrine Maidens to prepare for the ritual and looks back Vergil.

"In case this doesn't work, could I get the name of the man who saved me?" Miko asked while leaning in and partially lifted his cloak hood and showed his crumble and cracked face.

Vergil looks up at Miko who was looking at him. A rather concerned expression she displayed.

"Ver..gil." Vergil answered.

"Pleasure to meet Vergil. Let's talk again after this. Ok?"

Vergil didn't say anything.

"Vergil, I have much to ask of you. I wonder if it was fate brought you to us." Miko thought to herself.

Everything necessary for the ritual was prepared and ready. Miko tells the other shrine maidens to leave before she starts the ritual. Miko began to perform the ritual and the area around Vergil lite up. The same time a massive amount of demonic energy swirled around the mountain top.

Ritou Port

The black demon(Shadow form) was currently engaged with Sara and Thoma along with the other soldiers. The soldiers kept a reasonable distance while engaging the demon. The demon was bit troublesome despite it's large size it was able to make quick movement along with powerful attacks that knocked over the Inazuma soldiers. The demon was about to follow up until it took an arrow to the knee from Sara. The demon took a few steps and then leaps towards Sara. The Nightmare looks to slice Sara but evades the attack with the speed of the Tengu. Thoma leaps in with his pole arm and attacks the demon with a series of strikes. The attacks at first didn't seem effective until Thoma added some pyro to his attacks and engage the demon again. Once the pyro came in contact with electro it cause a explosion. Sara noticed the elemental reaction and moved in to provide more assistance for Thoma. While Sara charges up her arrow, the soldiers would keep the demon distracted. Sara's arrow was almost charged and a electro sysmbol appeared above her head. Thoma hit the demon with more pyro and Sara released her arrow. The same time lighting hits the demon and cause a explosion.

After being hit by lighting and explosion, the demon staggered backwards a bit like it was malfuncting. Its red eyes flickered a bit and turned purple. The black demon looked around a bit and noticed some activity going on at the top of the mountain. It begins to make its way up to the shrine.

Narukami Shrine

"This was the only thing I could think of in the short amount of time. Luckily things were already prepared ahead of time. The rest is up to fate now." Miko smiled.

Miko began the chant for the ritual. A large yellow pillar was shot up into the sky. The same time at the base of the pillar, the impurities that were inside Vergil began to be purge and left his body while slowly healing his severely damage and exhausted body.

"Power.." Vergil utter.

"Hmm? Looks like the ritual is working." Miko observe while sitting down to rest.

The next moment there was a little rumbling and the yellow pillar was changing colors from yellow to blue. The demonic energy that was swirling around began to move into the pillar and headed to the base.

The same time the black demon made it to the top of the mountain where Vergil and Miko were. Miko turns around and sees the black demon. She knows that she currently does not have the strength to deal this demon. Miko was thinking of something until she notices the strange behavior from the demon. It wasn't attacking but instead it just stood there looking at her. The red eyes were flickering back and forth between colors. Miko wasn't sure what to make of it until she heard a familiar voice.

"..ko. Miko."

Miko's eyes widened after hearing the familiar voice.

"Ei? Is that you?" Miko slowly walks towards the demon.

"Miko.."

"Help. Me. Miko."

Miko kept moving towards the demon after hearing Ei's voice but the tone was different.

The demonic energy continues to make its way to the base where Vergil was while filling him with power and another blue pillar shoots up into the sky. The blast from the pillar pushed Miko back a bit while knocking her over. Blue demonic energy sparkled everywhere and fell. Miko hears a strange noise coming from the demon and the eyes turn back to red. Miko slowly backs up. The demon's eyes lit up and a large demonic circle with symbols appears in front of it and fired a quick laser-like beam in front of it and a strong blast followed it blowing Miko away and causing her to drop Shogun's hair piece. *Slow motion SFX* Miko tries to grab it but only catches the air.

"Guess this is it." Miko accepted her fate as she looked up at the night sky and closed her eyes and waited.

Miko felt a hard thud and then stopped moving. She didn't feel any pain other than the ones from her previous injuries she received earlier. Miko slowly opens her eyes and sees she is surrounded by a blue light. She looked around and noticed she was being princess carried by a man in his mid twenties inside the blue pillar of light, crackling with blue demonic power and he was wearing a blue trench coat and had white hair.

"Vergil?" Miko calls out to Vergil.

Vergil slowly opens eyes.

Chapter 2 Preview

Narukami Shrine

"What is this place?" Vergil asked Miko

"Wasting no time with the questions. Very well. This place is Inazuma, the Land of Eternity."

Inazuma City

"What are you after?"Koujou Kamiji asked.

"Inazuma and all of Teyvat." Masked Female answered.

Kamisato Estate

"My humble apologies Kamisato-sama, your presence is requested at the entrance." Guard rushes in.

"Who could that be at this hour?" Ayaka asked.

Outside

Onii-san what's going on?" Akaya asked.

"You will understand in a moment." Ayato tells her.

Inside Kamisato Estate

"Excuse. What you're about to do is very dangerous. Could you tell us who you are." Akaya asked.

End Chapter 2 Preview

Being a fan of both series this was gonna happen at some point, just didn't know how I go about it. I was very interested in writing something for Vergil, Shogun/Ei and Miko especially on the romantic side. There may be another candidate or more candidates but will see how things play out. I've got some rather interesting ideas coming to the story so be on the lookout for that.
