Friday - April 1st 6:40 a.m. - Anderson Residence

Today was a beautiful, cool yet warm and sunny early Friday morning. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, the clouds look cloudy and there's even a rainbow shining over yonder. The sun rose creating a beautiful lighting, mixtures of colors and atmosphere that would bring a person to tears. It was a heavenly sight to behold. The camera pans over to a set of houses on the more nicer, richer side of town in a more suburban neighborhood and focuses one in particular. The scene cuts to the interior of said home.

Cody was sitting in the living room couch watching Looney Tunes, wearing a blue and yellow long-sleeved flannel shirt, stonewashed blue jeans and his moss green sneakers.

"Duck season, rabbit season, duck season, rabbit season," Daffy and Bugs went back and forth, Cody rolled his eyes and laughed, before switching the channel into the game screen and turning his console on, wanting to play a quick round of WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009. School doesn't start for another couple of hours so he had time to kill.

As he grabs a controller, he is met with the pleasing sound of the console booting up and it goes to the home screen.

Cody was in surprisingly good spirits, with popcorn in his lap. He was all set and couldn't be any more happier.

Today was a special day for our young gap-toothed geek, today is his birthday but at the same time, it is April Fool's Day, which meant misfortune, more misfortune and yet another birthday forgotten. It's to the point where he literally even forgot his own birthday, being that his parents (his mom in particular) always forgot and barely paid any attention to him, and to make matters worse, he wasn't the most popular or considerably well liked among his peers or even a well known individual at school or in general, which also doesn't help his case. In layman's terms, he was on the outs.

Overtime, Cody has gotten used to being by himself and the peace and quiet that often comes with it. So yeah, Cody was kinda used to being ignored and forgotten about and left out and being on his own, it hurt but no one could provide a listening ear and he'd just be told to suck it up anyway. Hell, he's trying to stay out of the limelight enough as it is and the last thing he needs is notoriety or negative attention, on top of school, his mom's neglect, his depression and repressed anger.

Julia had soon sneaked in and took her seat next to Cody on his right, while MK sat on his left, Cody however was too deep in thought, lost in his contemplation to notice them both. Both girls glanced at each other and wink.

Cody picks up the controller but noticed that it wasn't working and growled, it was then he noticed the two girls sitting next to him, waving coquettishly.

"Hi, Cody!" MK and Julia greets him in a sing-song voice.

"Hello, you two." Cody smiled. "Mary Kate, what are you doing here so early?"

"Wouldn't you like to know." MK snickered mischievously.

"She stayed the night." Julia answered.

"It's a school night." Cody deadpanned.

"Today's Friday." Julia retorts.

"True." Cody nodded and turned his attention to the loading screen. "Ah, memories."

"So, bro, what are you up to?" MK asked.

"Just taking down a stroll down memory lane." Cody responds fondly.

"Ah, I too share the fond memories," Julia smiles fondly. "A little too early to be having flashbacks of Gwen and Lindsay isn't it?"

"Damn you, cuz, I meant this game gives me nostalgia." Cody rebuttals, Julia giggles mischievously.

"Hopefully, you weren't planning on using that controller, sure would suck if something bad happened to it." MK quips.

"What did you two do to my controller?" Cody inquired.

"Oh, nothing, just switched it for a broken one." Julia replies nonchalantly, Cody shakes his head. "Mm-mh, that popcorn looks good."

"What'd you do to it?" Cody inquired in a more deadpan tone.

"We switched your caramel popcorn with butter popcorn." Julia smirked.

"Oh, well, that's not too bad." Cody shrugs.

"And we put cajun seasoning in your popcorn." MK adds.

"And that's not even WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009." Julia pointed out.

"It's WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010." MK informs.

"What the fu-?" Cody looks at the screen to see that he did indeed insert the wrong game he thought was SVR09 into the console, unknowingly of course.

"April Fools!" MK and Julia said simultaneously and at the same time, leaned in and kissed him on either side of his cheek, causing him to blush and both girls snickered at his reaction. Cody didn't say a thing, he frowned but then that frown turned into a wicked grin.

"Julia, have you checked your phones recently?" Cody asked in a dark tone.

"No, why?" Julia asked.

"You really should, bad things tend to happen." Cody said in a cryptic tone of voice. As he said this he was whipping around a charger cord in his hand. "Whoops,"

"What the-?" Julia snatched the charger cord out of his hand and examined it, before her eyes widened and she glowered. "You didn't."

"Oh, but I did, let's just say your phone had an accident, lost some followers in the process..." Cody gave a wicked grin and whistled.

"Big deal, I have more you know." Julia sneered.

"Did I say that it was just one phone, I meant them all!" Cody smiled maliciously.

"You monster!" Julia furiously cried out and she sped off to find her phones. "I'm coming, my babies!" MK snickered at her misfortune, but a small part of her felt bad.

"April Fools." Cody uttered out quietly.

"Nice one, Cody." MK smirked and she gave Cody a high-five.

"Thanks, MK." Cody smiled cockily and leaned into the couch to bask in his small victory. He then took a moment to rest his eyes and contemplate for a bit, nearly drifting off to sleep and almost forgetting that MK was sitting next to him.

"Cody?" MK nudges him a bit before leaning against him. "Hey, don't fall asleep on me, dude. You aren't a geriatric yet"

"Ah, shut up," Cody spoke through a yawn, causing MK to snicker. "I'm resting my eyes, there's a difference, look it up."

"Yeah, sure, whatever." MK waved off.

"You know, you need to get laaaaaaiiiid... out." Cody jokes.

"Oh, don't go down that road, dude. My chances top yours, like about a lot." MK retorts.

"Oh, yeah, duh, you're a girl." Cody rolled his eyes.

"And you're a boy." MK said, heightening and over-exaggerating her sarcasm and body language.

"Sarcastic, much?" Cody quips.

"Sarcasm's my thing," MK shrugged. "It's my gift and unfortunately, my curse." She adds, rather despondently. Cody cocked his eyebrow at this, he couldn't tell if she was being a wise-crack or not, but she sounded serious, however Cody decided to joke with her a bit.

"Oh, really?" Cody inquires.

"It's pretty complicated actually." MK nods. "You know how it is."

"Oh, so is that what Theodore is for?" Cody smirked, MK's eye's widen at that and she blushed.

"Shut up!" MK growled.

"You know, that giant, adorable, overstuffed unicorn companion of yours?" Cody continued.

"I'm warning you, Cody." MK smirked.

"All alone waiting to be cuddled." Cody mocked.

"Okay, that's it, bub!" MK pounced on top of Cody and they engaged in a quick rough-and-tumble, before falling off the couch on the floor, Cody and top of MK. "Whoo, you're lucky I let you call me by my full name."

"Sure, whatever, you say, Mary-Kate." Cody smirked. Julia walks back in the living room, seemingly at a calm now, knowing her phones are still intact and in mint condition, but her eyes widen to the sight before her and she couldn't resist the urge to tease them.

"Oh-la-la-la, what do we have here?" Julia smirked. "Is this the first hookup of the month?"

"Oh yeah, we were going at it big time." MK snarked, obviously being sarcastic and not being serious.

"Yeah, it's totally not what it looks like." Julia snickered.

"Shut up, Julia." MK and Cody said simultaneously.

"Hold on, this is too good, I need to capture this cute little moment." Julia gave a smarmy grin as she took a picture of them on her phone.

Cody rolled his eyes and offered his hand to help her up and she gratefully accepted it.

"Uh, thanks." MK said, and Cody nods.

"You're welcome, well, I'll.. oof!" Cody was about to speak before being tackled to the ground, feeling the wind knocked out of him. He looked up to see Sierra hugging him.

"HI CODY!" Sierra greets him in an extremely overzealous and enthusiastic manner.

"Sierra?!" Cody exclaims in ire and trepidation.

"CODY! OHMIGOSH, OHMIGOSH!" Sierra began smothering his face with kisses, causing Julia and MK to chuckle softly at the girl's antics and at Cody's expense. Julia muses to herself, anticipating the arrival of her friends and/or associates.

"Okay, down, Sierra, down!" MK reprimanded, going over to restrain her. "At least show some goddamn restraint."

Julia went to the door to see some of the girls waiting outside, some sitting on the stoop, while others stood, waiting patiently. Jen immediately notices Julia peering outside and waves.

"Hey, girl, sorry, we tried to halt her but she just bolted in." Jen said sheepishly.

"Girl, what up, though?" Julia smiled impishly. "Yeah, don't worry, it's all part of the plan." She winked.

"Not even sure this is even allowed, but whatever." Bridgette lightly rebukes, crossing her arms.

"Yup, that's Julia, alright, or as I like to call her, 'Evil Incarnate'." Cody glared as he was being carried out by Sierra against his will. Some of them chuckled at this.

"Oooohh!" Jen cooed coquetteishly. "Look at the two lovebirds."

"Oh, you're so cute when your irritated, Codykins." Sierra gushed coquetteishly, causing him to growl.

"Hi, Cody!" The girls all greet him, some even waving at him. This caught Cody off guard a little, but his expression softens a bit.

"Oh, hi, girls." Cody smiles in acknowledgement.

"Sierra, down!" MK scolds, causing Sierra to pout, but respectfully, she puts Cody down.

"Thank you." Cody nods. No one noticed but Cody looked rather despondent and agitated.

"He has no idea does he?" Nichelle whispered to Julia.

"Nope, he doesn't suspect a thing." Julia whispered back.

"OMG!" Jen squealed.

The girls all began to snicker amongst themselves and walked ahead, leaving Cody confused and a bit annoyed as he hears the tumultuous sound of laughter.

"Of course, fool me once, shame on you, fool my twice, shame on me." Cody said towards the audience, breaking the fourth wall. With that, he follows after them.
