"On the way, we are going to know a lot about each other, while we gaze upon the scenic landscape of this enchanted forest!"

Aurora is a really nice girl. She is as gentle as the waves of the lake, yet confident like the shining sun. She is as beautiful as her namesake, and as cool as the pleasant breezes in the forest. Every word from her carries a magical charm. Is she the lover I was meant to meet on Earth?

On our way along the lake, we chatted with each other about our lives.

Aurora asked, "I have never met someone from the Moon. Tell me, Serenity, how is life on the Moon like as a prince?"

I happily answered, "I like reading books and essays written by Lunarian scholars from the past, as well as playing chess and building robots, with my sisters."

"I also like reading books! But, what is a robot? I have never heard of that before..."

As I expected, it would take a while for me to explain Lunarian technology to someone from Earth. And yet, I tried to explain patiently:

"A robot is a machine that moves and thinks on its own. We write documents called 'programs' that dictate how the robot moves and interacts with the world around. We have eyes, and robots have cameras. We have ears, robots have microphones. We have tongues to speak, and robots have speakers to voice their minds as well."

She looked somehow perplexed, and yet amazed.

"So a robot is a machine that works like a human?"

"Yes, indeed. They do not grow like living things and do not eat the food that we eat. They are instead powered by artificial energy, such as electricity."

"Artificial energy. It sounds like something from a fairytale!"

"It is indeed!"

Aurora then looked at my star brooch. "And what about your sisters?"

"My sisters are all the same age as me, and they wield magical powers of a planet in our Solar system. For example, Princess Mercury wields the power of the planet she is named after, and she is very smart. She has checkmated me in quite many chess games, but she likes studying and reading books with me. She wields power over water and ice."

Aurora smiled, saying, "She sounds like a good friend to have, indeed."

"And Princess Venus is another of my sisters. She leans more on the confident side, and she often pays much attention on sports and beauty. And yet, she also likes reading books, playing chess and building robots with me and Mercury. My mother gave her command over a sword at the age of nine, and nowadays, I often see her practising her sword skills. She wields power over the light."

Fascinated, Aurora exclaimed, "That's so cool. She could protect you!"

"That's true. Sometimes, she would use her transformation brooch to transform into a copy of me, so that we look identical!"

Aurora broke into laughter. "That's a sure way to trick your brother, Venus."

I smiled, saying, "I think they would be inclined to meet you some day."

"I also think so. I can't wait to see them. Maybe they will fit me in princess dresses?"

The thought of this is just so cute! Aurora in princess dresses?

"I'm sure they will." I then looked at Aurora, "After all, you look as beautiful and are as confident as a princess, and I admire you."

We walked by a few more trees and saw some small animals playing around.

I then asked, "But by the way, how is your life in the forest?"

"I live in a wooden house. In my free time, I'd read my books and know more about the planet and the nature I live in, and about how humans formed civilizations, cultures and societies. I'd then go out in the woods and relax in the nature, listen to the songs of the birds and watch the animals run around, and sing out what's on my mind. At night, I'll track the movement of the stars, the phases of the Moon, and watch the Northern Lights flow over the sky."

She then pointed at the sky, continuing, "The night sky over Kultajärvi is a wonder to behold. Every night is spectacular on its own. The Otava always point to the Pohjantähti, the star that always point to the direction of the North."

Even though it is now daytime, I imagined how the night sky over the forest lakeside would look like. When the Moon shines in the sky and the Northern Lights dance on a field of thousand stars, and when you can identify specific asterisms and constellations that stand out from the others by reading a star map. I could imagine, that the sky is going to be breathtakingly picturesque.

"That is indeed a relaxing life."

I then curiously asked, "Have you been living in this forest since you were born?"

I could tell that her face turned a bit sorrowful. "I would not have told the true story to anyone else, but seeing that you are the Prince of the Moon, I feel more comfortable speaking it out to you."

"I am always listening."

Aurora then began to narrate how she came to live in the forest, as I patiently listened.
