When the Sun has completely sunken below the horizon, Aurora began to lay down and sleep. I stayed by her side, as the skies begin to darken throughout the twilight.

I began to think about the moment when we first met by the lakeside, and the night when we danced. I remembered chatting with the fairies and having some Earth tea the next morning. Every moment with Aurora is a blissful moment for me.

As the remaining sunlight fades, I began to wonder. Is all of this, just a dream? Are all the memories I had with this cool princess, just a dream? Will Aurora sleep forever, and I, be awakened from this beautiful dream?

It was then, I remembered Aurora's last words, before she entered her slumber.

"When the dusk ends and night falls, Maleficent will head straight to the castle to make sure that I am dead. This is exactly where I want her to appear tonight, because when you and your sisters appear before her, she will realize that she has walked into a trap. My curse shall be lifted for once and for all, when you and your sisters remove the source of the curse - that means Maleficent herself."

Maleficent. She must be defeated, so that Aurora can be awakened again.

With the Star Brooch I wore, I called back to the Moon Palace, waiting for my sisters to respond. As expeccted, it didn't take a long time for the response to come, and the first sister to respond from the common room was Venus. "Serenity, what is it?"

Looking out of the window at the crimson horizon of dusk, I told Venus, "I need your help, sisters. Or should I say, Aurora needs your help again. You all know that she would fall into her slumber when the Sun completely sets before her sixteenth birthday, right?"

Venus said, "Yes."

I then continued, "before she fell into her sleep, she told me that Maleficent will appear in her room to make sure she is dead. This is a trap she laid for the evil fairy, and when Maleficent appears, the four of you would teleport down to planet Earth, and we shall defeat her and remove the source of Aurora's curse. I don't know if you would be too exhausted to face Maleficent, just days after you and Aurora took down Nehelenia."

There was silence over the channel, for a while. It seemed that at the Moon, my sisters were contemplating about whether to help Aurora again and execute her plan of breaking her own curse. I somehow felt a bit guilty for asking my sisters to help me defeat Maleficent, when I took into consideration that it has only been a few days ago when they eliminated "Queen" Nehelenia, and they still might not have recovered from that great battle. Am I asking too much from my sisters? Will Aurora and I be doomed, if they refuse to help us?

Mercury's voice was then transmitted to me. "Dear brother, you have to understand one thing."

I anxiously waited for Mercury's reply.

"We are Sailor Guardians. Of course we will be ready to confront Maleficent!"

Upon hearing my sister's determined response, I could not feel more reassured!

Mars then joined Mercury, also proclaiming over the transmission, "I'm also ready to teach the evil fairy a lesson!"

With a high level of confidence, Jupiter vowed, "I will let Maleficent know how talented I am!"

And at last, Venus said, "we will always stand by you and Aurora. She helped us break your curse, and it is only justice that we pay back by breaking hers. If you see Maleficent, call us and we will teleport to where you are in a blink of the eye."

From her voice alone, I could already imagine her confidently blinking her eye and smiling to Aurora, me, and our other sisters. She concluded, "We are always ready. Always."

Upon hearing my sisters' reassurances, feelings and emotions of gratitude rushed in. I was so touched, that my sisters agreed to confront Maleficent together with me. "I know... that I am not alone!"

"May the light of the Moon be with you always, dear brother."

"You too, sisters!"

The sound of the transmission from the Moon then turned into the well-known Lunarian tune of The Legend of the Moonlight, signalling that the connection is closed at the moment. Even though the conversation between me and my sisters are over, I still held on to the call, listening to the slow and sentimental melody of the Lunarian song from my brooch. With Aurora lying asleep on her bed and the red light of dusk remaining but fading away, the notes of the song resonated with the rhythm of my heart, holding onto the afterlight of dusk as it gets fainter, and fainter...

And as the last glimmer of daylight fades out from the horizon upon the end of dusk, the short, but fateful, night has begun.

Beyond the window, I could see a figure flaming in darkness, approaching from afar. Her pale green face carries a sinister look, having sharp and black horns on her head. She wears a gown of pure black, bringing shadow and darkness to the atmosphere surrounding her. Her appearance frightens me, perhaps even more so than Nehelenia.

I immediately ran behind a wall, and used my star brooch to reach my sisters.

I whispered, "Sisters, I saw Maleficent! I repeat, I saw Maleficent!"

On the Moon, my sisters heard my emergency transmission.

Standing up immediately, Mars proclaimed, "It's time!"

Activating the powers of her Mars Crystal, she shouted, "Mars Crystal Power, Make Up!"

The other sisters followed her, and chanted,

"Mercury Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Jupiter Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Venus Crystal Power, Make Up!"

Within a flash of light, they transformed into the Super Sailor Guardians.

Mercury, Mars, Venus and Jupiter then joined hands and formed a circle, as light began to glow from them, who were ready for teleportation. They concentrated their mind to where I am.

"Three, two, one..."

"Sailor Teleport!"

And in an instant, they disappeared from the common room in the Moon Palace.

Seconds later, the Sailor Guardians have teleported to my side, inside Aurora's room. The circle they formed in the Moon Palace is left intact, but now this circle of protection surrounds me like a barrier.

I was very worried that Maleficent will attack me when I'm defenseless and alone. I am no match for her, just by myself. I peeked from behind the wall, and saw, that Maleficent had already broke into the room.

But now, I feel more confident, that we have a full team here, ready to bring this evil fairy down. We complement each other, and with the power of the Moon and four planets at our hands, we shall lift Aurora's curse.

Mars asked, "Shall we go, Venus?"

Giving an affirmative gesture, Venus said, "Yes. We're ready."

We then marched towards Maleficent.

With all of us pointing at her, I proclaimed. "You are Maleficent, the evil fairy from the land of Äjänevi. You cursed our beloved Princess Aurora to eventual death. This is unforgivable! I am Prince Serenity, and we are the Sailor Guardians! In the name of the Moon, we shall punish you!"

Maleficent didn't react for a while. She stood still, not making any gestures. What I could notice from her, was a devious smirk.

Strange... I thought.

Then, she laughed and cackled out of the blue.

Irritated, Mars scoffed, "What's so funny?!"

Maleficent ridiculed us, "A mere little boy who speaks of punishing the greatest fairy of this planet 'in the name of the Moon' with four girls wearing the tiniest skirts in the world. How funny, and how cute. You're even shorter than all of your girls, and I wonder why they chose to wear skirts that short in front of me, the Great Maleficent. Is it because they can't stop showing off their long and, 'glamorous', legs around you to keep you, an innocent and funny boy, blushing?"

She then extended her finger, swinging her hand while she speaks in a condescendingly high and modulating voice. "You are no match for me, 'little prince'. You're too young, and your mind is too simple, or should I say, naïve. I'm not even sure why Aurora chose a little boy like you. Is it because, I cursed her too hard, that she started to prefer alien boys whose development aren't even complete, over 'proper men from a real country', like... Prince Filip of Estonia?"

I totally understand her mention of Prince Filip. After all, he was there when Maleficent bestowed the curse at the celebration sixteen years ago, and it makes sense for her to expect Filip to be facing her here. It would indeed be a total disappointment for her to only realize that instead of a young man who looks heroic, the one to confront the "greatest fairy of Earth" was just a little boy that looks like a cute plush toy to play with.

She continued to whine about how disappointed she was. "To be honest, I was expecting him, instead of you. I was a little disappointed when the prince I saw in this room looks totally different from what I expect Filip would look like 16 years later. Filip has brown hair, but your hair is golden. His cape is red, which symbolizes a bravery worthy of challenging me, while you only have a suit as white as the clouds and the snow, perhaps too pure to be worn for a battle. I'd expect him to be as tall as a tower, but you're even shorter than all your girls. By now you must realize that you have absolutely no chance against the Great Maleficent. Seeing that you're too young and too immature to pick a fight with me, I am offering you a chance to keep your little life, if you surrender and get away from Aurora and planet Earth for the rest of your life."

We weren't easily brought down by her demotivational remarks about me. With much determination, Sailor Venus disregarded Maleficent's sarcastic comments and said, "You know 'Queen' Nehelenia? Fourteen years ago, she gave my brother the same curse you gave to Aurora, that he will never ascend the throne alive. And you know what happened to her? Aurora cut her in twain just a few days ago. We will not allow you to do more damage to Earth anymore, and so, your fate will be the same as Nehelenia's!"

Hearing Nehelenia's fate, Maleficent got rabid and mad.

How dare they wish death to me!

"Oh, so you're his sister? It seems that you are a little wench, who is just as reckless and ignorant as her brother! You don't know, that I wield the legendary Neogranichennaya Sila!"

What's the... "Neogranichennaya Sila", that Maleficent is talking about?

Mercury pondered about the phrase from Maleficent, and quickly figured out its meaning. She then scorned, "That's 'unlimited power' in your language, right?"

She then made a gesture, "What a bold claim."

Even more enraged, Maleficent threatened action. "What's a Sailor Guardian? A miserable and delusional brat!"

Grabbing the fabric of her dress, she furiously swung it towards the right, "But enough talk. Have at you!"

Under her threat, we got into a defensive formation.

Maleficent begun the fight, by throwing black roses around the room. Once any of us come in contact with any of these black roses, we would be stuck in a trap of shocking vines and be immobilized.

The five of us dodged the barrage of these deadly roses, while we simultaneously considered the choices of attack to use against her. Venus raised her sword high, ready to defend us from the swarm.

With much concentration, Venus cut away the black roses with her shining sword, one after one.

Jupiter then thought of attacking Maleficent while Venus was countering her attacks. Crouching behind Venus, she planned to immobilize Maleficent and launch a surprise attack on her while she is busy throwing black roses.

Quickly, she chanted her attack, "Jupiter Oak Evolution!"

A thousand electrically charged leaves were summoned in front of her hands. She then pushed the green and electrically sparking leaves forward in a stream, aimed towards Maleficent's dress.

Maleficent was busy aiming the black roses at the Sailor Guardians, and was unaware of Sailor Jupiter's attack. The electric oak leaves impacted on her dress, burning away the fabric. More charged oak leaves then followed, shocking Maleficent in the shins.

"What?!"

Maleficent immediately looked down when she was shocked by a high-voltage current, and found her black dress burning.

She panicked for a split second, and then, she grunted, "That was a cheap move!"

Furiously, she packed a handful of black roses, and threw all of them at once towards us. Her throwing range was wide, and there were roses aimed directly towards our heads, towards the ceiling, towards the floor, and towards the walls... It was as if Maleficent wanted, very desperately, to capture us all.

This is not good! I thought.

Upon sighting the matrix of black roses, Sailor Mars proactively chanted out her ultimate fire spell. "Fire Soul!"

She then summoned a large and wide flame from her hands, burning away all of Maleficent's black roses with the scorching fire of planet Mars, reducing them to ash.

Maleficent realized that her rose attacks were futile in front of the Sailor Guardians. Desperately, she reached her hands forward, attempting to summon dark energy to eliminate us.

Seeing Maleficent flaming up in evil energy, Venus proactively proposed, "We don't have much time left! We must use Sailor Planet Attack!"

My other sisters and I agreed to her proposal.

"Moon Cosmic Power!"

Upon chanting these words, my hands start to glow in white light.

Mars then chanted, "Mars Crystal Power!", her hands also glowing in bright red light.

Jupiter followed, "Jupiter Crystal Power!"

Mercury said, "Mercury Crystal Power!"

And at last, Venus chanted, "Venus Crystal Power!"

We then pushed our hands forward, creating luminous power rays of five different vibrant colors, converging together.

We then shouted together, "Sailor Planet Attack!"

Together, we combined the power of four planets and the Moon, and concentrated the beam on Maleficent.

At the instant we chanted the attack, Maleficent let out her charged evil energy from her hands. The clash of the beams of light and darkness formed a barrier between us.

We kept concentrating more power into our planetary beam, as we continue to draw power from our Sailor Crystals, the planets, and the Moon. What does Maleficent have, compared to us?

The barrier pushed back towards Maleficent, who struggled, as she attempted to draw more evil energy from the dark night.

At this time, the Northern Lights in the night sky have intensified. Even though Aurora has fallen into her slumber, it feels, as if she is also supporting us with her power.

She groaned, as she continued struggling, "you will regret overestimating the limits of your power, you bunch... of immature brats!"

Overestimating?

Sorry, Madam Maleficent. We did not overestimate the limits of our power.

Eventually, the barrier impacted on Maleficent, who no longer had more energy to summon to counter our planetary power beam.

"Aaaaarghhhh! I... underestimated... you..." The evil fairy roared in agony as the converged planetary power beam now ambushes her directly. Her voice started to transform, from what could resemble a normal human's voice, into distorted rumbles of pure chaos.

We keep concentrating, determined to eliminate the evil fairy and break Aurora's curse.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH!"

She continued to roar, as her hands slowly disintegrated in the power beam. She must have realized, that her attempts to resist, were futile. It was no longer possible for her wretched plans to succeed anymore.

The power beam then erased Maleficent gradually, from the head to the shoes, until she was completely burnt away.

We then withdrew our hands, slightly exhausted, but relieved, that the evil fairy is no more.

Looking out at the brilliant Northern Lights outside the window, I took a sigh of relief and exclaimed, "Thank you, sisters."

Mars said, "Maleficent is gone. That means, Aurora's curse has now been broken."

Playfully, Venus said, "We'll just have to wait until sunrise and see what happens! Are you going to kiss her?"

A bit embarrassed, I said, "That was what she told me to do when the sun rises tomorrow."

Venus and Jupiter than cheered, "Hooray, Serenity!"

I could imagine, it would surely be a triumphant moment see your brother kissing his lover for the first time. But come on, Aurora is asleep! It'd be better if we didn't disturb her.

"Shhh... It's late night in this castle now."

Mercury then said, "Maybe we should go outside the room?"

Sailor Mars said, "Agreed."

We then headed out of the room. However, with my heart still being attached to Aurora, I sneaked back into the room, while my sisters were not aware.
