Anthony and Kate were always meant to find each other. Afterall, this is the best enemies to lovers there ever was. But upon further scrutiny, don't we all find the characters a tad underwritten? Could Edwina not be more mature? Could Anthony not call Kate a Thorn? Could Lady Danbury not have understood Kate a little better? So, I present, Bridgerton S2 - Rewritten.

Upon waking, Tommy discovers that he has not only been transported into the series, but into the body of Colin Bridgerton as well. With everyone believing him to be Colin, Nolan tries to use his knowledge of the show to change things for the better; despite the risk that he might make things worse.

Anthony gives Kate a comfort she misses.

Season two with twist. When lady Danbury listen about Kate struggles and her plans to abandoned marriage after her sister found her Match she advice her to use this opportunity to find happiness of other kind and thus Kate planned to begin a discreet affair with none other then handsome stranger she met on horse ride as they became lovers.

When she'd read Colin's writing it had been full of prose, lovely descriptions, and a loose narrative structure that kept you coming back. Penelope's writing was straight to the point, with little-to-no analogies, and would use one word where he might use five. (Polin week 2024)

Colin hadn't been looking forward to the Smythe-Smith musicale. He hadn't planned to attend as he'd been able to skip it in years past. However, he couldn't leave things as they'd been with Penelope. This is a "What if...What if Kate didn't go to the Featherington Ball and left for India?" continuation of Anthony and Kate's story. While the show neatly tied up their love story, I felt it needed more angst. Some people may hate that but not to worry, dear Reader, I will eventually get to the happy ending you so desire (with a little heat along the way...lol!). Enjoy!
