GIR: I'm playing Kirby, master! Look, Kirby's suuuper cute! *squee*
GIR presses a button, and on-screen Kirby swallows an enemy and gains new power.*
ZIM: Cute? CUTE?! Bah! This pink blob is nothing compared to the might of Zim! I could obliterate such a creature with the flick of my... Wait. What is that?
The screen flashes as Kirby defeats a boss and cheers. Amidst the digital cheers, there's a strange surge of energy, and suddenly, KIRBY along with BANDANA WADDLE DEE, META KNIGHT, and KING DEDEDE, leap out of the screen into Zim's living room in a swirl of colorful power.*
KIRBY: Hi!
BANDANA WADDLE DEE: Hey there!
META KNIGHT: We've traveled across worlds to face our newest challenge.
KING DEDEDE: And nobody calls King Dedede and his friends "weak"!
ZIM* (stepping back in shock): What in the name of Irk!? How did—you!? Invaders!
ZIM frantically waves his arms, accidentally hitting the game console, causing more sparks.*

GIR looks excitedly from Zim to the newcomers, then gleefully runs towards the visitors.*

KIRBY* (smiling): Play? Poyo!
KIRBY inflates and hovers, while BANDANA WADDLE DEE twirls his spear playfully. META KNIGHT unsheathes his sword, pointing it at ZIM.*
META KNIGHT: If you seek a challenge, villain, you shall have it.
ZIM* (regaining his composure): Ha! I am Zim, invader of Earth! I accept your pathetic challenge, round pink... thing!
ZIM pulls a laser gun from his pack. As he shoots, KIRBY quickly sucks in the laser beam and spits it back as a star, knocking the gun out of Zim's hand.*
ZIM: My weapon! You... you've absorbed its power?!
KING DEDEDE* (laughing): Kirby's got your beat, tiny green man!
BANDANA WADDLE DEE dances around ZIM, who tries desperately to catch him.*
BANDANA WADDLE DEE: Can't catch me!
While ZIM is distracted, META KNIGHT approaches and gently taps ZIM with the flat of his blade.*
META KNIGHT: You are no match for the power of Kirby and his friends.
ZIM* (frustrated and defeated): Fine, fine! Return to your pixelated prison!
GIR throws a peace sign as KIRBY and his friends jump back into the game screen, waving goodbye. The game console sparks and turns off.*
GIR: Bye bye, new friends!
ZIM* (exhausted, sitting down): Next time, GIR, stick to less... formidable game characters.
GIR: Can we get ice cream now?
ZIM* (sighing): Yes, GIR. Let's go get you some ice cream...
