Chapter 25: B-Komachi's First Performance

Ai got out of the large van she rented for B-Komachi that had everyone that was either going to perform, watch, or help with the production. She of course had her children, Eren, the three extra B-Komachi girls, Reiner, and Armin. All who were going to support their first official performance.

Zeke was also in the van. He asked if he could see his niece perform. Eren was a little unsure but Ai convinced Eren to at least give his niisan a chance. After all, they are supposed to be family and it's a perfect opportunity to bury the past.

There was a slight bit of awkwardness in the morning, realizing that her two oldest children were reborn and had the memories of their previous lives. It was a bit strange, but Ai didn't really mind. They were still her children regardless of the circumstances.

Though she noticed that Aqua was acting a bit odd around Ruby, like he was paying extra close attention to her. She didn't know why since Aqua knew from the beginning, but she just chalked it up to him being a bit awkward about Ai finally knowing the truth.

"Here Ruby, let me help you with that." Aqua said as he tried to take Ruby's gym bag that held her outfit.

"I got it niisan." Ruby waved off. "It's not heavy."

"Still, you should stay rested." Aqua said.

"Awe, you're finally being nice to your oneesan." Ai teased.

"Finally? I've always been nice to her." Aqua said.

"Mama, Aqua's sister complex is showing again." Ruby teased.

"Would you stop with that." Aqua complained.

Especially now. He always went with the jokes, but remembering how Sarina used to crush on him did make him a little worried. Before the issue was of course Sarina's young age, which made it completely impossible to give her those feelings back. He didn't mind her crush, it was normal for little girls, but he had no interest in ever returning it.

Now, she was his blood sister, even if the age was no longer a problem. What's worse for his reputation?

Even then, Aqua did love Sarina, but it was very much a non-romantic love. He saw her more as a daughter or even a little siter when he was caring for her. It's really hard to care for someone who is suffering so much and not develop some kind of feelings for them. Especially how happy Sarina always made herself despite the pain she was in.

Even still, there was a feeling of happiness that he felt. Sarina was finally living her dream. She was going to become an idol, just like she always dreamed. Aqua may hate the idol industry after what happened to Ai, but the look on Sarina's face as she was finally living her dream made it tolerable.

"Are you excited?" Aqua asked Ruby.

"Of course." Ruby gave him a big and bright smile.

"Apparently you'll finally be living your dream." Aqua said.

"Yea." Ruby said. "It's so surreal to imagine sometimes."

"You never told me about your past until last night." Aqua said.

"Well, I didn't tell you, I told mama." Ruby felt the need to clarify.

"Right." Aqua smiled.

It was funny, Sarina had changed since he remembered her. He never imagined the sweet, kind, and innocent girl he knew would be such a brat sometimes. Then again, maybe Raito was right. We often act differently towards different people. Aqua could guess that Ruby would never act this way towards Goro, so maybe this was her real personality.

"Still, I finally made my promise." Ruby said with a smile.

"Promise?" Aqua asked.

"Yes." Ruby said. "I'm sixteen now, and about to be an idol."

Oh right, that promise. Honestly, it was a joke at the time and kind of a way to maybe push her to live. It was a dumb idea but there is proven evidence that at times, the mind is able to overpower many illnesses and help someone live for longer. So, by giving her a goal it could give her a reason to live.

Like he said, it was a dumb idea.

"Is this about that Goro guy?" Aqua asked, not wanting to reveal any information about himself.

"Yes." Ruby said. "He promised to marry me if I lived to be sixteen and became an idol."

"I doubt that would work." Aqua said seriously. "He'd be in his forties by now."

"Yea. I know." Ruby said with a sad smile. "If I did in my first life, maybe it would have been different."

No, it wouldn't have. By the time she would have been sixteen he'd be into his thirties. Aqua doesn't mind the idea of large age gaps in a relationship, as long as both parties are over eighteen, but it would be seen as grooming if he waited for Sarina to get older. His social standing did not need that.

Still, there was something endearing about it. To her, a relationship was as innocent as a kid's anime. But to him, it always felt the same as when a little girl would say she'd marry her otosan, just a cute little promise from a child that didn't know any better and would grow out of with time.

"What was he like?" Aqua asked.

"He was an amazing person." Ruby said with a smile. "Even when everyone else abandoned me, he never did. He took care of me, helped me, and made sure that I was ok. He would argue with the hospital staff to get me more things to keep me entertained. He was also really nice during more... embarrassing checkups."

Yup, Aqua remembered that. Aqua was her personal doctor as Goro, and his primary fields were Obstetrics and Gynecology. Which basically means he deals with pregnant women and general women's reproductive health.

More than a few times, he needed to check Sarina's reproductive health and due to the nature of it he always ensured that there was a female nurse for her. While he was used to that part of the job that for him it was entirely professional since he was a medical professional, for his patients it was a bit awkward, so he always made sure there was another woman for their comfort.

"He seems like an interesting person." Aqua said.

"I wonder where he is sometimes." Ruby said sadly.

Probably rotted to the bone in some hole in the woods, but he didn't voice that thought.

"He's gone?" Aqua maintained his ignorance.

"The news said he disappeared." Ruby said sadly. "I like to think maybe he just ran away and he's happy somewhere. Because if that's the case, maybe he'll see my performance. Even if he won't recognize me, maybe I can make him a fan."

Her eyes looked hopeful and almost shined. Now that he saw this side of her, he really could see Sarina under the surface. That same optimistic outlook, born out of necessity due to her suffering, the look that made him feel a strong parental love for her.

"I'm glad you're happy, really." Aqua smiled, patting her head in a show of almost parental affection.

"Stop." Ruby pushed his hand away. "Only papa can do that, it's weird when you do."

"Sorry." Aqua chuckled.

Suddenly, someone else walked up to them. Both Ruby and Aqua looked down at Mikasa who stood near them and looked up expectantly towards her niisan, leaning forward slightly with a smile on her face.

"Nani?" Aqua asked.

"I want you to pat my head too niisan." She smiled.

Did she really walk over here when she saw him pat Ruby's head.

"Sure." Aqua smiled and put his hand on her head.

"Come on, we're going in!" Ai said, motioning for Ruby to get to her dressing room.

"Ok mama!" Ruby called over.

"Ai, good to see you." Miyako said happily as she gave Ai a hug.

"You too. You and President Saito coming to watch?" Ai asked.

Miyako has barely changed. Due to her pregnancy, her breasts did get a little larger and her hips did get wider. Unlike Ai who shed all of the pregnancy weight, Miyako kept some of it. Ai would joke how jealous she was that Miyako got curves in all the right places while Ai went back to being a stick, which was true.

Miyako had a mature look to her that always made her jealous. A look that showed she aged while maintaining her beauty, whereas Ai still looked basically like a teenager if it wasn't for the slightest bit of wrinkles around her eyes. Wrinkles that are only visible in the right light.

"Mostly to protect my investment." Saitou said.

Saitou on the other hand aged like a refined man. His hair was greying, his faced developed wrinkles, and he had a very mature look. He clearly has taken care of himself.

"Oh stop, you're excited to see Ruby perform." Miyako chuckled.

"Why are they here?" Saitou asked, pointing towards the Shifters.

"This is... eto..." Ai stuttered.

As the President of Strawberry productions a decade ago, President Saitou always had a very strict no boy policy. Mainly for the safety of his idols but also to avoid any potential rumors of idols dating which could ruin their career.

"I figured having Reiner and Armin help could be good for publicity." Ai lied, since she couldn't really tell President Saitou that they were bodyguards against Titans.

"Ai~" He drew her name out like an annoyed otosan.

"It's fine, trust me." She waved off.

"Sure, I'll trust you. But if this goes bad, I'll simply cancel B-Komachi." He said, annoyed.

Saitou agreed he'd only provide funding and advice, so he never mettled with Ai's decisions. He let Ai have autonomy in running B-Komachi, to include any potential issues that would result in if she failed. He would never want to ruin Ruby's and Ai's dream, but he still had a business he needed to keep since it was the thing that provided for his wife and daughter.

"Don't worry, we'll be in the crowd." Armin said. "Besides, this'll be my first concert."

"Really?" Akane asked.

"Yea, it'll be fun to watch you." Armin smiled gently at Akane, making her blush.

"Where's Ayane-Chan?" Ai asked.

Miyako tried to step aside, but when she did the small girl behind her skirt shifted back behind her.

Ayane looked much more like Miyako than President Saitou. Her hair was in a short bob with bangs reaching her eyes. She always dressed in fashionable clothes that her mama would buy her since Miyako herself was a bit obsessed with fashion.

Ai smiled; she was still such a shy girl.

"Hi Ayane-Chan, are you ready to see Ruby-Chan preform?" Ai put her hands on her knees as she kneeled a bit to the nine-year-old girl.

Ayane shyly nodded.

"Hi Ayane-Chan." Kawachi walked up from behind Ai.

Ayane retreated right behind Miyako again at the sight of Kawachi. The two always played together but she was still so shy around him. Ai always joked that Ayane would be a perfect idol if she kept that shy personality if she got older, much to Saitou's dislike since he never wanted his daughter to experience the idol life.

"Awe, Ayane-Chan is shy." Ai giggled. "Seems someone has a crush."

"Crush?" Kawachi asked.

"I think she's starting to like you Kawa-Chan." Ai teased, hoping to see Kawachi get embarrassed.

While knowing that Aqua was reborn in hindsight, it made sense why he never got shy around girls. He still didn't talk much about his past, but Ai could tell he was an adult before he died so he probably never got nervous growing up. If anything, it made sense why he would sometimes avoid girls when he became a teen.

But now Ai was excited to see her youngest son's shy innocence so she could tease him. She can't wait to see him stutter in embarrassment and deny any feelings for-

"I know, I proposed to her a few weeks ago." Kawachi said in a deadpanned delivery.

Ai actually collapsed on the floor at how easily he delivered that line.

"Ai?" Eren walked over to his wife who was now on the ground.

"EH?!" Miyako and Saitou yelled out, hearing that this boy proposed to their daughter.

"Nani?" Kawachi got nervous, feeling like he said something wrong.

"You proposed?" Ai asked as she stood back up, confused.

"Y-yea." Kawachi said, reaching over to Ayane and taking her hand. Ayane blushed hard and covered her face with her other hand but had a small smile.

"You're both nine!" Ai yelled out.

Seriously! She was so excited to have her son be shy around girls. That's one of the big reasons she wanted a son, to tease him about liking a girl so he can deny it poorly and blush. But no! Her son decides to propose!? At Nine!?

"Otosan approved." Kawachi said, pointing to Eren.

Everyone turned to Eren, who had a confused look on his face and had his arms crossed.

"What?" Eren asked.

"Why did you tell your son to propose to my daughter?" Saitou's protective papa personality started to show.

"Don't look at me, Ai arranged it." Eren said.

"Eh!?" Ai yelled out.

"Ai!" Miyako turned to Ai. "Why would you tell them to get married!?"

"I-I didn't!" Ai denied.

Why was Eren lying and more importantly, why can't she tell he's lying? There's no way he's being honest.

"Ai, explain yourself." Saitou said angrily.

"Eren! Stop lying!" Ai turned to Eren, hoping he'll stop with the jokes.

"I'm not. You arranged for them to be married." Eren continued.

"When!?" Ai yelled out. "I don't remember ever doing that!"

"When they were four, remember?" Eren asked.

Four!? There's no way Ai would ever arrange a marriage between four-year-olds! What was Eren trying to say!?

"Ai!" Saitou and Miyako turned to her again.

"I swear I never did!" Ai denied. It was the truth.

"Don't you remember, you took them to the park together." Eren said.

Park? Ai wracked her brain for the event that Eren was talking about. She remembered she took them to the park a few times, but she didn't understand how that meant she arranged for them to marry.

"Remember, you said you were taking them on a date." Eren said.

A date? How-

"Eren, that was a play date." Ai said, suddenly realizing the confusion.

"I know." Eren said as if he fully understood what she was saying.

"How does that mean Ai arranged a marriage?" Saitou asked.

"Isn't that how marriage works?" Eren asked. "You date for a while then get married?"

"It was a play date!" Ai yelled at Eren.

"Again, I know." Eren said.

"A play date isn't a real date you-" Miyako had to stop herself from calling him a baka.

"Really?" Eren asked, genuinely confused.

"It's a phrase that means kids go and play together you baka!" Ai yelled at Eren.

Ai felt really justified in calling him a baka here. She was so worried that she set two children up to be married because of his miscommunication and felt the need to vent a little bit. She just had a huge emotional rollercoaster and she felt like Eren ruined her chance to see one of her baby boys being shy around girls.

"Huh." Eren said with little emotion, as if they just corrected his spelling.

"Huh, that's it?" Saitou asked.

"Guess I was wrong." Eren shrugged.

"How do you still not know about dating? We dated, remember?" Ai asked.

"One date." Eren said. "Then we were married."

"Because you got me pregnant and had to take responsibility." Ai shot back.

"And I did." Eren said.

"Waaah!" Ai started hitting Eren's chest. "I wanted to see my baby boy shy, and you ruined it!" She yelled out.

Eren only had one thought on his mind.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because it would have been kawaii!" She cried.

"Seems my baby brother still hasn't fully adjusted." Zeke chuckled.

"Why would I learn more about dating when I'm already married?" Eren asked logically.

"Fair." Zeke said with a laugh.

"It is probably hard without a reset." Reiner chimed in.

"Not going to lie, I never would have imagined Eren in this position." Armin teased.

"Funny." Eren said sarcastically.

Kawachi just stood off to the side of the adults, still holding Ayane's hand. They both looked confused, and Ayane still had a shy expression.

"A-am I n-not allowed t-to marry him papa?" Ayane asked in a small voice.

Saitou looked down at his sweet and innocent daughter. Her big wide eyes looking up at him in a pleading way, her hand firmly locked with a boy's hand. He knew Ayane liked Kawachi but felt like he wouldn't need to worry about this for at least a few more years.

"I'm not ready for this." He walked away to start getting the production ready for the performance.

"I don't see what the issue is." Eren said.

"Eren, they're nine. They're not ready to marry." Miyako said.

"I know." Eren said. "But soon they'll be old enough. And if that's what they want, let them. Ayane is a good girl with loving parents, so I think she'll be a good wife to Kawachi one day."

"See okaasan, it's fine." Kawachi said.

"Just leave me alone." Ai said in a sad voice. She walked to start getting ready for the performance. "Let's go Ruby-Chan."

"Ok mama." Ruby followed.

The girls needed to get ready, so they went to their changing rooms while everyone else waited outside in the hall to give them some privacy.

"How do I look?" Ruby gave a small twirl and winked at the group in her idol outfit.

The other girls came out as well. They all had the same theme with a few differences. Right now their footwear was off and they were in their socks so they could walk around easier before having to perform.

"Kowai." Reiner tried to say.

Ruby started to giggle in her hand, knowing the mistake Reiner made.

"What?" Reiner asked.

"Koh-why means scared." Ruby said. "Ka-why-eeh means cute."

"Oh, whoops." Reiner said with a chuckle.

"You're pretty, really." Armin chimed in.

"I don't know." Akane said. "I've never really worn something this cute."

"Come on Akane, you're amazing looking." Mem-Cho wrapped her arm around her.

"Careful, don't ruin the make up." Ai said as she walked out as well.

She looked over the girls. Each one was cute in a different way. Akane had the shy girl look which would probably be a bit more of a benefit as an idol over being an actor in a reality show. Mem-Cho of course looked like a spring with bound up energy ready to be released. Kana had a sophisticated and confident look with the slightest hint of nervousness. And Ruby looked excited and barely able to contain herself.

It made Ai feel a hint of nostalgia and a bit of sadness. She d miss the days of getting ready, but her time is over and now it was Ruby's turn. After all, in this life and her last, Ruby was her number one fan.

"We'll be in the crowd." Ai said.

"You too mama?" Ruby asked.

"Of course, I want to see my daughter's first real performance." She smiled.

"Let's do this." Reiner said.

Reiner took some red glowsticks and a strip of red cloth. He cracked the glowsticks and used the headband to pin them to his head like a weird crown. He then cracked a few more and put them in his fist between his fingers, ready for the performance.

"What are you doing?" Eren asked.

"I've never done this before and I'm going full- what do you guys call it, Otaco?" Reiner asked.

"Otaku." Ruby giggled.

"Yes, otaque." He mispronounced again.

"Why?" Eren asked. He felt like it was so out of character for Reiner.

"Since accepting this new life I've tried to do anything at least once." Reiner shrugged. "Even if I end up not liking idol performances, I still want to fully immerse myself in it. It's fun and unique to do that."

"Well, so long as you only use red glowsticks." Ruby said with a smile. "I can't have a fan going after other girls."

"Most of them will probably be yellow." Aqua said.

"What color do you want?" Reiner asked.

"I'm ok." Aqua said.

Kana looked down sad a bit but didn't mind much. After all, it's better for him to not have any glowsticks than to see him waiving someone else's. It would only be ok to wave his oneesan's since she's ok with him showing support to her.

"Here darin." Ai handed Eren some glowsticks.

"Why not." Eren shrugged. He wouldn't mind showing some support for Ruby.

"Ok, let's go. This is going to be great." Ruby and the girls started walking away.

"Let's get in the crowd." Ai said, pushing the Eldian's and Japanese so they can get to good spots.

"Everyone is freaking out." Reiner said as the last group of girls before B-Komachi comes up.

"You said you wanted to go all out." Aqua smirked.

"Still, that's a bit much for me." He said as some people started almost foaming at the mouth.

"Welcome to idol culture." Aqua chuckled.

The Eldian's seemed to really enjoy it so far. The only two who didn't do much cheering was Zeke and Eren, mostly due to their age. Luckily it was dark so Eren and Ai wouldn't be recognized by anyone.

Mikasa and Kawachi were both standing on a stool they had so they can see over the crowd. Ayane was with her parents backstage and seeing it through there since Saitou never liked having her in a large crowd.

Eren also had two red glowsticks at the ready in each hand to show support to Ruby. He really didn't intend to dance, but he'd at least wave the sticks around.

"Next up is the new idol group, B-Komachi!"

The girls came out on stage, ready to perform Star-T-Rain.

As they did, everyone began switching the colors of their glowsticks. Predictably, ninety percent were yellow since Mem-Cho was the most established of the four. The other most common was red since Ruby began to get popular after her interview. Aqua thought he saw some blue but there was very little. Akane still did have some fans, though the majority of critics really outweighed what little support she had.

Sadly, he didn't see any white. Not a single one. Aqua remembered when he used to follow the old B-Komachi that when Nino first joined B-Komachi, she didn't have any supporters her first performance. It really upset her at first until she was able to actually make a name for herself.

There was a silence on the stage as the girls got ready to start. They were in an opening pose, waiting for the music to begin so they could begin. Aqua could tell even from this distance that they were nervous.

Suddenly, as the music began and the girls started to dance, Aqua couldn't help but smile as he saw Ruby dance.

"You finally did it Sarina." He whispered with a smile.

He was here, watching the girl who died in his care finally accomplish her dream of being a famous idol. The feeling he had of failing her was slowly fading as he realized that she was alive and well. Her whole life ahead of her.

One day, Ruby would find a husband, have children, and hopefully one day die of old age. Hopefully as a famous idol who's achieved her dreams, the same dreams Ai gave her. He wished Ruby knew he was watching her, but he wasn't ready to tell her. Not yet.

"Ai, let go!" Aqua heard Eren yell off to his side.

While Armin and Reiner were poorly imitating the other fans, Zeke watched with a small smirk on his face. He was enjoying himself but didn't seem nearly as animated as the two younger men.

Eren did try to at least wave his hands for support, but that was impossible since he was currently being crushed in Ai's embrace and pinning his arms to his side.

"Waaaahhhhh!" She cried.

"I can't do the stupid dance like this!" Eren tried to pry his crying wife off of him.

"My baby girl is all grown up!" She cried. "Look at her! She's so pretty!"

"I know, now let go!" Eren tried in vain to escape.

Eren just sighed, instead letting his wife have this small moment. Eren reached up to pat her back while his arms were still pinned. Ai continued to sob in his arms, so happy at how amazing her daughter was.

Aqua had to admit, Ruby really was better than Ai. No matter how hard she tried, Ai's personality was always fake. It was well crafted and very few would spot it, but it was fake. Aqua had no doubt that Ai enjoyed being an idol, but she still saw it as a job.

Ruby was the opposite. Her smile, her eyes, her enthusiasm, it was all real. There was no lie. In fact, Ruby was a terrible liar. The love she showed was real and genuine, and he could tell it was winning fans over.

As the next song, Our Sign is B came on, one thing Aqua did notice was Kana. Mem-Cho did a good job, even Akane was able to effectively copy Ai's personality in performance, but Kana didn't really smile.

Kana seemed like she was getting into her own head. He couldn't blame her. No one in the crowd was waving white glowsticks. It seemed like she didn't have any fans at all.

Aqua could tell that Kana had a crush on him. He wondered if he could use that to his advantage to help her. If he supported her, maybe he'd be able to help her motivation.

Aqua got some of the glowsticks out of the bag. He held white in one hand and the three other colors in the other. He raised the white one in the air to show support to Kana. He waited for her to glance his way.

He almost saw her eyes light up when she saw, so he began to dance. He was a bit rusty since he really didn't watch idols after Ai lost her career, but he did well enough. He noticed that all the girls saw and had mixed reactions.

He wasn't surprised to see their reactions. It probably was odd for them to see his normally stoic attitude replaced by actual enthusiasm, even if his face didn't reflect it.

Her face brightened up, a smile that rivaled even Ruby's. He was glad it helped.

As the dance finished, the performance was nothing short of amazing. It probably was the best one of the night and the crowd was screaming in excitement. It was amazing to see. He glanced over to the others. Ai was still balling in Eren's arms, Zeke had a subtle and warm smile, Reiner and Armin looked tired from their poorly coordinated dancing, and his younger siblings nearly fell off the stools a few times as they cheered.

For the first time in a long time, Aqua felt truly happy and content.

"Everything ready?" Galliard asked from his vantage point on the rooftop.

"ODM teams are standing by." Annie said as she stood near him. "Pieck is in the crowd, ready to attack Eren."

They both kneeled on top of the building right across from the outdoor concert. Galliard had binoculars and was watching to make sure everything was going well. Annie was suited up in that modern ODM gear and getting ready to strike.

PSHT!

The sound of ODM exhaust sounded behind them. Galliard and Annie didn't even turn around as their Yakuza comrade showed up and landed with an expert move.

"You have any more gas Annie? I'm running low." He said.

"Sure, it's over there." Annie pointed to some spare tanks near them.

"Thank you." The Yakuza member said. "I've been tailing him for two nights now. Not much happened really, other than the meeting he had with the Kanto Yakuza heads."

"He's going to try that route then." Galliard said. "He can do what he wants, if we need to make our Titan abilities more active in this fight we will."

"That's the plan?" The Yakuza member asked.

"Pieck still recommends-" Annie began.

"Pieck is trying to keep casualties to a minimum." Galliard said.

"We have to do this carefully. If we provoke too much and have the military out in force then we'll be no match against their modern technology." Annie said.

"I know, which is why we'll be careful." Galliard said. "With Eren being too preoccupied trying to save his family and the crowd, we'll be able to exploit his weakness."

"Decent plan." The Yakuza member said. "But they also have the Beast, Armor, and Colossal down there. Not good odds."

"Reiner will stay out of it." Galliard said, keeping the binoculars to his face. "And the Colossal won't be an issue unless he wasn't to kill the entire crowd in a full transformation. The Beast isn't very good in a close fight so all we really need to worry about is Yeager."

"Still dangerous." He said.

The Yakuza member hoped onto the ledge and looked down at the concert. He was actually kind of young. He was clearly Japanese, but he looked to be a teenager. On his exposed skin under his white shirt and black suit pants were tattoos similar to most Yakuza.

However, unlike other Yakuza that typically had Japanese myth and historically inspired tattoos, his were more tribal in nature. Galliard guessed maybe Celtic which was an odd choice. But he was the son of the Oyabun of the largest group in Hokkaido, so Galliard chalked it up to him being excentric.

"I've contacted the team, they're in position with RPGs and their blades drawn." He said.

"Good job Rein." Galliard said.

"Here to help." Rein said with a smirk.

"Just make sure everyone does their part. We need maximum chaos, and they'll need to target Yeager's family to divide his attention." Galliard said.

"No problem." Rein said. "Then you can eat him I guess. That is how that works, right?" Rein asked.

"Yes." Galliard said. "Now shut up and get in position."

"Understood sir." Rein said with a hint of sarcasm at being ordered.

Rein jumped off the building and grappled to another one, preparing himself and getting in position for the attack.

"He annoys me." Galliard said.

"You should have tried training him." Annie said.

"Why did we agree to bring him along?" Galliard asked. "We could have just threatened his father into keeping him back."

"We have five total ODM trained Yakuza, we need every bit of help we can get." Annie said.

"If he keeps giving me sarcasm I'll threaten to eat him. I'm getting annoyed with these criminals." Galliard said.

"Whatever." Annie said. "I'll get in position too."

Annie jumped off as well, going to her own position.

Galliard wished he got to Japan sooner so he could actually have had some of the ODM training. His only way to move is to transform so he had to take the long way up this building. Oh well, once the moment is right, he'll jump down and take the Founder's power.

"This time, we'll get you Yeager." He said angrily.

Yea, unfortunately it won't entirely be a happy night lol. Next one is going to be big.

This was fun to write lol. Ai and Eren's miscommunication, Aqua's thoughts, and Ruby's big moment. All phrased in a way that's different from the show due to the AoT intervention.

A lot of people have been wanting Aqua to have a bigger role but for the first roughly half of the story his role was minimal. Mainly because his motivation in the show was Hikaru's death, so without that he doesn't have much to do. Don't worry though, there will be moments for him to shine.

There's also a new character, Rein. Who is he and what is his motivation? We'll have to see lol.

As always, hope you guys enjoy.
