Author's Surprise Birthday Burger Lunch

It's a beautiful afternoon at the Mushroom Kingdom where today marks a very special day for me, my 30th birthday. I was taking a stroll when suddenly, a friendly Lakitu came in. He said, "Do you want something to eat at Burger Shroom?"

"Sure," I replied with a smile.

"Great! Now follow me and to make it fair, I'm going to hide your eyes so there will be no cheating. Okay?"

"Will do, Lakitu. Let's go!"

And so, Lakitu followed me to a special location so I can get something to eat.

When we got to the burger joint, Lakitu said, "Okay. Now on the count of three, you'll open your eyes. Ready?"

"Let's see it," I replied with a smile.

"All right, then! One, two... THREE!"

With that, I opened my eyes and then...

It has been revealed.

"SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUTHOR!"

I was surprised when everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom cheered for me. There was Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Bowser, Bowser Jr. and more. Then I sat down on the table and Mario said, "Happy birthday, buddy. We made this surprise just for you and for that, we have made a special burger for your special day. Ready to find out what it is?"

"Of course I'm ready for this!" I replied with a smile.

"Very good, then! Luigi, bring in the burger."

Luigi came in with the special bundle and he said, "This is for you, author. Happy birthday from the entire Mushroom Kingdom Adventures cast."

"Thank you, Luigi," I said with a smile, "So, what is it?"

"Open it and find out."

With that, I opened the bundle and inside is the Mushroom Kingdom Adventures Super Cheeseburger complete with beef, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Super Stars, ketchup, mustard, Yoshi Eggs and pickles all stacked between two buns.

I smelled the food very well and said, "Now that is what I call a very special cheeseburger. Thank you everyone for making my day extra special. Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do. Let's... EAT!"

And so, I took out the burger, opened my mouth and then...

CHOMP!

I ate it with a mighty chomp. It has been an amazing birthday for me.
