Boom Boom and Pom Pom's Nintendo Switch

It's a beautiful day at Bowser's Castle where Boom Boom and Pom Pom are enjoying a friendly showdown in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on their Switch. Boom Boom smiled at her and said, "It has been three years since the Switch came out and I'm so happy to be playing with you on this special day."

"Me too," Pom Pom replied, "The both of us together to commemorate three years of the Switch. Now then, let's pick a stage and our fighters for this special occasion!"

"You got it! Let's try Final Destination for this battle."

And so, Boom Boom picked the stage as the fighter selection screen came up on the television. Boom Boom smiled at Pom Pom and said, "Look, Pom Pom. There are so many fighters in this game and I love it! So, which fighter do you want to play as?"

"I'll go with Peach," Pom Pom replied as she selected her fighter on the right side of the screen, "And you?"

"The Koopa King, Bowser," Boom Boom said as his fighter was selected on the left side. Just then, the 'Ready To Fight' message appeared on the screen, telling them that the battle is about to begin.

Boom Boom looked at the screen and said, "Ready, Pom Pom?"

"You bet, Boom Boom," Pom Pom replied with a smile.

"All right, then! We are all set and..."

Both of them looked at each other and then, they said it at the same time.

"READY TO FIGHT!"

With the words shouted, Boom Boom pressed the button on the Pro Controller and then, the versus splash screen shows the two fighters who will be battling in the game: Bowser vs. Peach.

Just then, the fighters made their entrances as Boom Boom and Pom Pom watched the screen very closely with the timer showing 2:30. That means this battle will last two and a half minutes to see who can score the most points. Boom Boom and Pom Pom gripped their hands on the controller, waited for the announcer's signal to start and then...

"3..."

"2..."

"1..."

It is time.

"GO!"

With the word shouted, Bowser and Peach jumped into battle as the famous song began to play on the speakers.

Boom Boom and Pom Pom are having a great time playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the fighters battle it out with their special moves to knock each other out of the stage.

After a long fought battle, the announcer's voice came on once again. There's only five seconds left in the match as Bowser and Peach kept on going. It all comes down to this, the final countdown.

"5, 4, 3, 2, 1... TIME!"

As soon as the timer hits zero, the match came to an end.

Boom Boom looked at the screen and said, "Well, who won?"

"We're about to find out right now because here comes the final results," Pom Pom replied as the final score is about to be revealed.

Boom Boom and Pom Pom held on to each other, waited for the announcer's voice to declare the winner on the speakers and then...

It's official.

"Bowser... WINS!"

The screen shows Bowser breathing fire and assuming a pose to signify his official victory. That means Boom Boom is the winner with a score of +1 to -1.

Pom Pom smiled at him and said, "Great game, Boom Boom. You won fair and square."

"Thanks, Pom Pom," Boom Boom replied with a smile, "You put up a good fight today and I'm so proud of you."

"The same goes for you, buddy. Say, care to go one more round?"

"It's on!"

And so, Boom Boom and Pom Pom are having a great afternoon playing with the Switch as they play another round of Ultimate.
