Dragon Puncher's Human Cannonball Birthday

It's a beautiful day at the Mushroom All-Star Circus in Toad Town where Dragon Puncher is waiting in the audience for the show to start as Rosalina came in center stage. She said, "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Welcome to the Mushroom All-Star Circus!"

With that, the crowd erupted in cheers as the show is about to begin. Rosalina smiled and said, "Today, we're going to start the show off with a bang and to do that, I'll need a volunteer from the audience."

Just then, the spotlights begin to dance the circus floor until it stops on a person. Rosalina smiled and said, "My volunteer for our first act is Dragon Puncher and that's not all, today is his 31st birthday! Come on in."

The crowd is cheering with excitement as Dragon Puncher walked down to the stage.

When he got there, Rosalina smiled at him and said, "Happy birthday, Dragon!"

"Thank you for having me in your circus, Rosalina," Dragon replied, "I'm so glad to be here on my birthday. So, what do you have for me to kick off the circus?"

"You'll be flying high because for your birthday, we're going to shoot you out of a cannon as a Human Cannonball!"

Dragon Puncher smiled as a huge cannon with Grand Stars came in with help from some Lumas. Then he saw the cannon and said, "A Human Cannonball on my birthday? That's amazing! So, how does it work?"

"It's pretty simple," Rosalina replied as she explains the act, "First, you'll enter this cannon by climbing up the ladder. Then our friendly Luma assistant will light the fuse with a Fire Flower. Once the fuse starts burning, the audience will do a countdown. When the fuse goes all the way to the cannon... BOOM! You'll be flying out of the circus with a twinkle. Finally, you'll finish the act with a perfect landing and a surprise!"

"A surprise on my birthday? Sounds like fun!"

"Of course it is. Well then, are you ready to blast off?"

Dragon looked at the cannon and said with a smile, "As I'll ever be!"

"Great! Dragon Puncher... ENTER THE CANNON!"

With that, Dragon Puncher walked to the cannon as the crowd cheered for him. Then he climbed up the ladder with a special helmet with a dragon symbol before entering the cannon.

Rosalina looked at the progress and then, everything is ready. She smiled to the crowd and said, "And now, our very first act of the day! Watch as Dragon Puncher gets shot out of the cannon on his 31st birthday. Are you ready, Dragon?"

"I'm all set, Rosalina," Dragon replied with a smile, "Let's blast off!"

"Okay! Luma, would you like to do the honors?"

"You got it," Luma replied as he took out a Fire Flower. Then he came to the cannon and said, "Fire Flower, light the fuse!"

With that, the Fire Flower touched the fuse and then, it started to burn. That means the cannon is set to fire in ten seconds.

The audience saw the burning fuse and then, the countdown has begun.

"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six..."

As the fuse burns down to the halfway mark, Dragon Puncher is waiting inside with a friendly smile. Only five more seconds until blastoff.

"Five, four, three, two, one..."

Dragon braced himself for impact as the fuse reached the cannon. Everyone held their breath, waited for the cannon's blast and then...

The moment came.

BOOM!

The cannon fired, sending Dragon Puncher out of the circus with a smile. The crowd erupted in big cheers as he disappeared with a twinkle.

Dragon Puncher smiled as he flew higher and higher. Then he smiled to himself and said, "Wow! I'm a Human Cannonball and that's amazing! Now then, let's finish it off with a perfect landing! Back to the circus!"

With that, Dragon did a few spins in the sky before returning to the circus with a dive. Then he made it to the target and with a perfect landing, confetti begins to fall all across the circus as the crowd received a huge standing ovation.

Rosalina saw it all and said, "He did it! Dragon Puncher has made a perfect landing! Let's hear it for Dragon Puncher, the Human Cannonball!"

The entire circus cheered very loudly as Dragon Puncher is showered with confetti while taking a bow. What a perfect way to celebrate Dragon's 31st birthday with a circus act.
