Boom Boom's Burger Lunch
It's a beautiful day at Bowser's Castle where Boom Boom is enjoying his training session with the dummy in the gym when suddenly, his watch beeped. Boom Boom looked at the time and said, "It's noon! That means it's time for some lunch and I know one place to get something to eat, Burger Shroom! Come on!"
With that, Boom Boom spun in his shell and sped his way to Burger Shroom for his afternoon lunch.
When he got there, Boom Boom came out of his shell and said, "Well, here I am at Burger Shroom. Now let's go inside and have some lunch."
So Boom Boom walked inside and when he got there, he saw some Koopas and Toads eating burgers and fries. Boom Boom smelled the food and said, "Now that's good. Well, let's go order some lunch for myself. To the cashier!"
Boom Boom walked on over to the casher and when he got there, he saw Dragon Puncher running the cashier. Dragon smiled at him and said, "Hey there, Boom Boom!"
"Dragon Puncher," Boom Boom replied with a friendly smile, "I'm so happy to see you run the cashier at this place and now that I'm here, I'm ready to have some lunch all by myself."
"All right, then! May I take your order?"
"I'll have a burger, French Fries, and a Mushroom Soda!"
Dragon smiled as he typed in his order. Then he said, "Okay! Now to decide which burger you're going to order, you'll have to choose one... RANDOMLY!"
"A random selection?" Boom Boom asked.
"That's right, Boom Boom. All you have to do is pick a token from an Item Box that I have in front of you. Now here are the ten burgers you'll be choosing from: Mushroom, Fire Flower, Super Star, Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi, Peach, Toad, and All-Star Deluxe. You got it?"
"Of course I got them."
"All right, then. The tokens are now in the box and now, the Shuffler is going to shuffle it for five seconds. Ready?"
"I'm all set, Dragon! Let's do it!"
"Okay! Shuffler, shuffle the box."
With that, the Shuffler did its work and after five seconds, the tokens are all shuffled up and ready to go. Dragon came to Boom Boom with the box and said, "Well Boom Boom, this is it. You're about to choose a token and remember, don't look at it once you made your decision. Got it?"
"Got it, Dragon," Boom Boom replied.
"All right, then. Boom Boom, the decision is yours. Go ahead and pull out a token!"
With that, Boom Boom reached into the box and after a few moments of consideration, he pulled out a token and covered it in his hand. Dragon Puncher smiled at him and said, "Are you happy with your decision?"
"Of course," Boom Boom replied with a thumbs up. "This is my decision."
"Okay. Now it's time to reveal your token. Ready?"
"I'm all set."
"All right, then. On the count of three. One..."
Boom Boom held on to his token
"Two..."
He kept his eye on the hand as he awaits his decision. Dragon looked at the covered hand, took a deep breath and then...
It is time.
"THREE!"
With that, Boom Boom opened his hand and inside is an All-Star token. Dragon jumped for joy as he saw the token and said, "Congratulations, Boom Boom! You have chosen the All-Star token and that means, you're going to order the All-Star Cheeseburger Deluxe! Are you happy with that?"
Boom Boom smiled at Dragon and said with a reply, "You bet, Dragon! I'll eat it right here... RIGHT NOW!"
"Great! Now sit tight and I'll be right back with your order!"
With that, Dragon ran to the kitchen to make his order while Boom Boom is waiting for his food to arrive.
After seven minutes of making, Boom Boom's order is finished. Dragon came to him and said with a huge smile, "Here it is! Your All-Star Cheeseburger Deluxe meal is ready and you'll eat it here... FOR FREE!"
"Wow," Boom Boom said as he accepted the tray from him, "I love free lunch at Burger Shroom! Thanks, Dragon!"
"Anytime. Enjoy your lunch, Boom Boom!"
With that, Boom Boom walked on over to an empty table and placed his food on it as he sat down. Boom Boom looked at the wrapper and said, "All right! Let's see what is inside that wrapper."
So Boom Boom unwrapped it and inside is the All-Star Cheeseburger Deluxe. This burger has mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Super Stars, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup, mustard, and a burger patty all stacked between two buns.
Boom Boom placed his hands on the burger and said, "Now it is time for my first official bite of the All-Star Cheeseburger Deluxe and I will do it on the count of three. Well, here goes. One..."
Boom Boom held on to his burger.
"Two..."
He raised it up to his mouth, took one final deep breath and then...
The moment came.
"THREE!"
CHOMP!
With the word shouted, Boom Boom took his first bite with a mighty chomp and when he did, he looked starstruck.
"Oh my goodness," he said with his mouth full, "This burger is... AWESOME! I love it! Well, let's do it again!"
And so, Boom Boom took another bite of his burger as he enjoys his afternoon lunch all by himself.
