Soda Roulette
It's a beautiful day at Bowser's Castle where Boom Boom and Pom Pom are having fun in the Game Room when suddenly, they saw Bowser with soda cans. He said, "Hey guys, I brought cans of Mushroom Soda because it's time to play... SODA ROULETTE!"
"Soda roulette?" Boom Boom and Pom Pom asked him.
"That's right! It's a game of chance where if you choose the wrong can, then you'll get a soaking surprise. Do you want to play?"
"Sure."
"Great! To the Game Room!"
So Bowser, Boom Boom, and Pom Pom ran to the Game Room for a special game of Soda Roulette.
When they got there, Bowser said, "Now here's how the game works. I have placed six soda cans in the center of the arena and in a moment, I'll shake one can. Both of you will take turns choosing a can and whoever picks the shaken can, loses. Got it?"
"Got it, Koopa King," Boom Boom and Pom Pom replied.
"Great. Now to make it fair, I want you two to close your eyes while I shake the can for ten seconds. That means there will be no peeking, okay?"
Both minions agreed with him as they covered their eyes. Bowser picked up a can and gave it a good shake for ten seconds.
After ten seconds, the can is put back in the center as Bowser said, "Okay, guys! The can is all shook up and ready to go. You may open your eyes now."
Boom Boom and Pom Pom opened their eyes and Pom Pom said, "You did a good job shaking things, Bowser."
"Thanks, Pom Pom," Bowser replied as he took out a coin with their face silhouettes, "Now it's time to decide who goes first and to do that, we'll flip a coin. This side is for Boom Boom, and the other side is Pom Pom's. Whoever is on the coin face up will get the first pick. Ready to find out who it is?"
"Sure," both minions replied with a smile.
"All right, then! Here we go!"
With that, Bowser flipped the coin in the air and then, it landed on Boom Boom. Bowser looked at the results and said, "And Boom Boom gets to go first! Remember, one wrong can and the game is over. Ready?"
"Ready, Bowser," Boom Boom and Pom Pom said with a smile.
"Okay! Then let's start the game! Boom Boom, go ahead and pick a can."
With that, Boom Boom picked the third can for himself and when he opened it, nothing happened. It's a safe can.
"Boom Boom is safe," Bowser said as Boom Boom drank his Mushroom Soda, "Alright Pom Pom, your turn."
Pom Pom agreed with him as she opened the fourth can. Nothing happens as she drinks her soda.
"Another safe can," Bowser said, "Now there are only four cans left in the game and we begin round two with Boom Boom."
Boom Boom did the same thing with the first can and there's nothing on the board for him while Pom Pom did the same with the second can, giving them safety.
Bowser looked at the two remaining cans and said, "Well guys, this is it. One of you is about to get a soda surprise in the final round and here's how we decide the winner. In a moment, you'll pick up the final two cans. One for each of you and remember, don't open the can until I count you in. Okay?"
"Sounds good to me Bowser," Boom Boom said as he picked up his soda can, "Ready, Pom Pom?"
"You bet, Boom Boom," Pom Pom replied with a smile as she picked hers, "Let's do it."
Bowser smiled at the duo and said, "All right, then. It's time to find out who gets soaked! On the count of three, you'll open your can. Here we go! One..."
Both minions placed their hand on the can.
"Two..."
Boom Boom and Pom Pom looked at each other, took a deep breath and then...
It is time.
"THREE!"
With that, Boom Boom and Pom Pom opened their cans and then...
FIZZ!
The winner has been decided.
"Pom Pom got soaked by the soda which means... BOOM BOOM WINS!" Bowser announced as Boom Boom deserved his victory drink.
Pom Pom smiled and said, "Good game, Boom Boom."
"Same to you, Pom Pom," Boom Boom replied as they shook hands for a great game, "This game is amazing and refreshing on a nice day. Say, care for another round?"
"You got it and this time, It will be Bowser vs. Boom Boom. Care to play against Boom Boom, Koopa King?"
"You bet," Bowser replied as he placed six more cans in the arena for the second game, "Let's do this!"
"Okay! Now remember, close your eyes and don't look at the cans while I shake up only one. Here we go!"
And so begins another game of Soda Roulette for Bowser, Boom Boom and Pom Pom.
