Pom Pom's Glitz Pit Match

On a beautiful afternoon at the Glitz Pit, everyone is gearing up for the fight as a Shy Guy came in with his referee suit. He smiled to the crowd and said, "Good afternoon, fight fans! Are you ready for an exciting day of amazing battles?"

The arena agreed with him as they are cheering with excitement.

"Now that is what I'm talking about! We're going to kick off today's action with a battle between one of Bowser's minions and a veteran fighter. So, shall we meet them?"

"YEAH!" The crowd replied.

Shy Guy agreed with them as the spotlight shines on the red door. Then he said, "All right, then! Fighting in the red corner is a warrior who loves to fight with passion. Here's... PRINCE MUSH!"

Just then, the red doors open up and Prince Mush came in with a smile on his face as the crowd cheered for him.

Shy Guy then pointed to the blue door and said, "And his opponent is a warrior who uses her shuriken in battle. Hailing from Bowser's Castle, here's... POM POM!"

Then the blue doors open up as Pom Pom entered the arena by spinning in her shell before landing center stage to the cheers of the crowd.

Shy Guy came to them in the center and said, "All right, you two. This is our first match of the day so I want to see a good, clean fight. If you go out of bounds, then you're out of the game. Now shake hands and prepare for battle!"

Both fighters agreed with Shy Guy as they shook their hands for good sportsmanship. Then Prince Mush said, "May the best fighter win?"

"You know it," Pom Pom replied as they took their battle stance.

Shy Guy walked on over to the gong and said, "Fighters, are you ready?"

"Ready, Shy Guy," Pom Pom and Mush replied.

Shy Guy smiled at them, picked up his hammer and said, "All right, then! I'm going to hit the gong on the count of three. Good luck to the both of you and have fun. So without further ado, the battle will begin in 3..."

Pom Pom looked at her opponent.

"2..."

Prince Mush smiled at her.

"1..."

Both fighters assumed their battle stance once more as the entire arena grew very silent. Just one single sound separates them from fighting and that is the sound of the gong.

Shy Guy looked at them as they are tensed up and ready to go. Then he held on to his hammer, took a deep breath and with a perfect swing...

It is time.

"FIGHT!"

GONG!

With the word shouted, both fighters charged at each other as the gong crashed to signal the start of the match.

Pom Pom starts the match with a kick in Mush's face while Prince Mush used his fists to damage Pom Pom. Shy Guy saw it and said, "Looks like we're off to a great start as both fighters used their melee attacks! This is what I call a great battle."

Mush took out his Fire Flower and after a few seconds, he became Fire Prince Mush. Then he took out a fireball and said, "Fireball Strike!"

Pom Pom saw it coming and with a smile, she vanished in thin air as the fireball hits the wall.

Shy Guy saw it all and said, "Wow! Pom Pom has vanished just as the fireball is about to hit her. Looks like she is one amazing fighter."

The crowd loved that feat as they are cheering for her. Mush looked around and said, "Where is she?"

Then he heard a voice and it said, "I'm right here!"

Mush turned around and saw not one, but three Pom Poms circling around the arena. He looked at the sight and said, "No way! You can make clones of yourself?"

"That's right," Pom Pom replied as she took out her shuriken with the other two clones doing the same. Then with a smile, she aimed at Mush and said, "Triple Shuriken Strike!"

And with that, the three Pom Poms fired their shurikens at Mush and then, it hit him very hard. Mush threw the fireballs at them and then, the clones vanished. Then Pom Pom threw another shuriken and it gave him big damage.

Everyone in the arena loved it as the crowd cheered for these two fighters. From shurikens to kicks and everything in between, Pom Pom and Mush are fighting very well.

After over thirty minutes of battling, Mush said, "High Jump Kick!"

Pom Pom saw it coming and then, she vanished again as the kick hits the arena floor. Then she made two additional copies of herself, took out the shuriken and said, "Triple Shuriken Chain!"

Mush was shocked as the shuriken chain traps him very tightly. Now he is unable to move as the two Pom Pom clones vanished from sight. Pom Pom smiled to herself and said, "Now let's finish this match with a finishing strike! Come on out, Super Boomerang Cannon!"

Just then, her cannon came in and it is ready to go. Pom Pom held on to her cannon as she placed her boomerang into the slot for ammo. Then she looked at the screen and said, "Sighting! Target is Prince Mush!"

With that, the targeting reticle appeared on the screen as the cannon is aiming for Prince Mush and then, it was locked on target. Pom Pom smiled at the sight and said, "Target locked! Prepare to fire!"

And on her cue, the cannon begins to charge up pink energy as she awaits the signal to fire.

Pom Pom smiled to herself and said, "Time to wrap this up! Super Boomerang Cannon! Ready..."

The crowd grew very silent.

"Aim..."

Everyone turned their attention at Pom Pom as the cannon is now fully charged and ready to go. Just one single word will deliver the final blow and finish the match.

Pom Pom held on tight to her cannon, took a deep breath and then...

It is time.

"FIRE!"

With the word shouted, Pom Pom pressed the button labeled 'Fire' and then...

WHOOSH!

A huge pink boomerang came out of the cannon as it heads straight for Prince Mush. He tried to move as the boomerang moves closer to the target. The process takes five seconds and then...

BOOM!

A huge pink explosion came in as the cannon makes a direct hit. Then the boomerang returns to Pom Pom as she caught it with her hand before placing it back in her pocket.

When the explosion was done, it revealed Prince Mush laying down on the arena floor. The winner has been decided.

Shy Guy saw it all and decided to deliver the final results right now. Then he took out his hammer, ran to the gong and with a perfect swing...

GONG!

It's official.

"GAME! POM POM WINS!"

With the words shouted, the entire arena cheered for Pom Pom as she scored a spectacular win thanks to the Super Boomerang Cannon. Then she spun in her shell and jumped for joy as the stadium received a huge standing ovation.

Mush stood up from the knockout, shook hands with her and said, "Great game, Pom Pom! Your cannon really packs a huge punch."

"Same to you," Pom Pom replied as she accepts it, "You did a great job, too. Now let's go get some hot dogs! My treat!"

"You got it!"

And so, Pom Pom and Mush left the arena with a huge smile as the crowd cheered for them. What a great match for Pom Pom.
