Bowser and Bowser Jr.'s Yahtzee Game
On a beautiful fall afternoon at Bowser's Castle, Bowser and his son are enjoying a nice game of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe when suddenly, Bowser smiled and said, "Do you want to play some Yahtzee, son?"
"Of course," Bowser Jr. replied with a smile, "This is going to be a great game."
"All right, then. Let's roll!"
So Bowser and his son picked up the Yahtzee game and placed it on the table. Then Bowser said, "Now the object of the game is to score the most points over the course of thirteen rounds using these five dice with different combinations. After all 13 rounds, the player with the most points is the winner. Got it?"
"Got it, dad," Bowser Jr. replied with a smile.
"Now to decide who goes first, we'll do a dice roll. The highest number starts the game. Ready?"
"You know it."
So Bowser and his son rolled the dice and just like that, Bowser rolled a five and Bowser Jr. rolled a six.
"Well son, it looks like you'll have the honor of starting the game because six is more than five," Bowser said with a smile, "Ready to roll?"
"You know it," Bowser Jr. replied with a thumbs up.
"All right, then! Scoreboard, a full game of Yahtzee if you would please!"
The scoreboard agreed with Bowser as the board is set up and with that, the game is now officially underway!
Bowser Jr. shook the cup and after a few moments of shaking, he rolls the dice to start the first round as the dice shows five threes.
The scoreboard saw it all and then, it made its announcement.
"YAHTZEE!"
Bowser Jr. jumped for joy as he scored the first Yahtzee of the game. Then the scoreboard said, "Do you want to keep some dice and roll again?"
"No thanks," Bowser Jr. replied, "I'll score right now with a Yahtzee."
"All right, then! Fifty points for Bowser Jr."
Then the scoreboard updates the total as Bowser Jr. scores fifty points for a Yahtzee.
"Your turn, dad," Bowser Jr. said as he passed the cup to him.
"Thanks, son," Bowser replied as he shook the cup before rolling the dice.
The first roll shows four fives and a six.
The scoreboard saw it and said, "You may roll again if you want to, Bowser. Would you like to do that?"
"Sure," Bowser replied as he kept his four fives before shaking the cup for the second time.
Bowser rolled the die and it shows a six.
The scoreboard saw it and said, "You still have a chance to roll a Yahtzee. Care to roll again?"
"Of course I'm rolling for the last time this round," Bowser said with a smile before taking his third roll, which shows a five.
"There you go, Bowser," The scoreboard said to him, "Do you want to score fifty points for a Yahtzee?"
"Yes, please," Bowser replied with a smile.
"All right, then! Let's put it on the board."
And with that, the game is now tied at fifty as both Koopas finished the first round with a Yahtzee.
Bowser smiled at his son and said, "I love this game, son. Maybe we could do this more often. Now then, shall we move on to round two?"
"You know it, dad," Bowser Jr. replied as they enjoy a nice game of Yahtzee!
