Pom Pom's Big Burger Lunch

On a perfect Wednesday afternoon at Bowser's Castle, Pom Pom is enjoying a nice game of Mario Strikers: Battle League on the Switch in the Game Room when suddenly, her stomach starts growling. She looked at her stomach said, "Wow! All of that gaming makes me hungry and I think it's time for me to eat some nice burgers at Burger King. Come on!"

With that, Pom Pom ran out of the castle and decided to get some nice burgers for herself at Burger King.

When she got inside, she saw some customers eating burgers and fries. Pom Pom looked at the sight and said, "Wow! Looks like everyone is enjoying some burgers today and they smell so good. Well, let's go order some lunch. To the cashier!"

So Pom Pom ran to the cashier and when she got there, she saw me running it. I smiled at her and said, "Welcome to Burger King, Pom Pom! What brings you here?"

"I'm here to have some lunch," Pom Pom replied to me.

"Well, today's your lucky day because it's Whopper Wednesday!"

"Whopper Wednesday?"

"That's right! Everyone knows that on this day we give out Whoppers to everyone and since you're here, I have arranged a coin toss just for you. Now before we do that, what can I get you with your burger?"

Pom Pom looked at the menu and with a smile, she said, "I'll have the medium French Fries and the medium Sprite."

"Okay, then," I said to her as I took out the special coin, "Now it's time for the Whopper Wednesday Coin Toss and since I'm such a nice guy, I'll let you do the honors of flipping the coin."

"You want me to do it?" Pom Pom asked as I gave the coin to her.

"That's right. There are only two options and for today's coin toss we have a Whopper serving as heads, and an Impossible Whopper serving as tails. All you have to do is give it a flip and that's it. So, are you ready?"

"I was born ready."

"All right, then! Take it away!"

Wasting no time, Pom Pom smiled and then...

FLIP!

She gave it a nice flip as the coin was tossed in the air.

After a few moments of waiting, the decision has been reached. Everyone saw the coin and then...

DING!

It landed on the table heads side up.

Pom Pom looked at the results and said, "I got heads, breath20k! That means I'll get the Whopper!"

"Great choice, Pom Pom," I said, "Let's get your order ready!"

With that I got to work on making Pom Pom's lunch in the kitchen and after a few moments of preparations, it is all done. I took out the tray and said, "Here it is, Pom Pom! Your Whopper Wednesday meal is ready and you'll eat it here... FOR FREE!"

"A free Whopper meal on Whopper Wednesday? I love it! Thank you, breath! You rule!"

"Anytime, Pom Pom. Enjoy your free lunch."

With that, Pom Pom walked on over to a nearby table and sat down with her tray of food. She took out her bundle and said with a smile, "Now let's take that first bite of the Whopper, shall we?"

So Pom Pom unwrapped her bundle and inside is the Whopper. Then wasting no time, she placed her hands on the burger, raised it up to her mouth and then...

CHOMP!

The first bite has been made.

Pom Pom looked starstruck when she made the bite and said, "This is awesome! The flavors are amazing and it tastes so good! Well, let's keep going!"

And so, Pom Pom is having a great time as she enjoys her afternoon lunch.
