Toad's Big Roulette Game

On a perfect afternoon in Game Guy's Casino, Toad is enjoying his time playing the games when suddenly, he saw a sign for the newest game called Game Guy's Big Roulette. Toad looked at it and said, "Spin to win big prizes with Game Guy!"

Toad smiled at the sign and said, "Looks like Game Guy has a brand new game coming in today and it sounds like fun! Let's go try it out!"

With that, Toad ran as fast as he could to the newest game.

When he got there, he saw Game Guy running the game with an official roulette wheel. Game Guy smiled and said, "Hey there, Toad! Are you here to play my Big Roulette?"

"You know it," Toad replied with a smile.

"That's great! Now to get you started, I'm going to give you fifty coins. Use them wisely."

With that, Toad received fifty coins from Game Guy.

Then Game Guy came to the wheel and said, "Now on this wheel are twenty wedges numbered 1-20. The red wedges represent the even numbers while the black ones are odd. The object of the game is to guess where the Green Shell will land on. If you guess correctly, you'll win coins. If you can accumulate 1,000 coins or more, then you'll have a chance to go all in with one final spin and if you can do that, then you'll win everything plus a brand new kart. Got it?"

"Got it," Toad said with a thumbs up.

"Okay, then! Now in front of you is the board with all of the possible combinations and with that, we're ready to play! So, are you ready to win big?"

"I'm ready to play!"

"Then let's start the game! Go ahead and place your bets!"

With that, Toad placed seven coins on red and when everything is ready, Game Guy spins the shell and said, "No more bets! Let's see where will the shell land on."

Toad looked at the wheel and then, the shell landed on a red wedge. Game Guy looked at the results and said, "Red 9! You won 14 coins, Toad. Great start!"

"Thanks," Toad said with a smile.

"Now then, are you ready for your second bet?"

"You know it!"

"All right! Place your bets and let's go!"

So Toad decided to place 45 coins on 2-3-6-7 and then, Game Guy spins the shell again after making that bet.

Five seconds later, the shell landed on a red 3. Game Guy saw it and said, "Amazing, Toad! You placed a bet on a street and that's worth 225 coins! Now you have a total of 289 coins so far. Looks like you're on your way to a new kart. So, shall we continue on?"

"Of course," Toad replied, "And I have placed 50 coins on a single number, which is ten."

"All right, then! Let's spin that shell because we have no more bets!"

And with that, the shell is spun once again and after a few moments of spinning, it landed on black 10.

Game Guy looked at the results and said, "Perfect bet, Toad! That's 1,000 coins and now you've earned the right to play for a new kart in the final spin! You are one lucky Toad!"

"Thanks, Game Guy," Toad replied with a smile.

"Now let's get down to business! You have 1,289 coins after three rounds and now it is time for the final spin. All you have to do is close your eyes and place one final bet on one single number and to make it very exciting, I'll let you have the honor of spinning the famous Green Shell. If you're right, then you'll win 25,780 coins and a brand new kart. If not, it's game over. So, take a good look at the board and think about it because this bet is for all the marbles. Ready?"

"As I'll ever be."

"All right, then! It's time to place your final bet! Good luck!"

So Toad took his time examining the board as he closed his eyes while waiting for that all important decision. The process takes a few moments.

After thirty seconds of thinking, Toad has made his decision. He placed all of the coins on one final number, opened his eyes and said, "Game Guy, I'm ready!"

"Are you sure?" Game Guy asked.

"Yes."

"Okay, then! Toad, step on up to the wheel and get ready to spin!"

With that, Toad walked on over to the wheel and in front of him is the green shell. Game Guy passed the shell to him and said, "Well Toad, you have placed your final bet on that number and all you have to do now is give that shell one final spin. Now before we do that, let's see which number you've selected. Computer, what is Toad's number?"

The board agreed with him as the screen shows a 7.

"It's a seven," Game Guy said, "Why did you choose that number?"

"Because it's lucky," Toad replied, "Seven is one of my favorites because everyone knows that you'll get good luck with that number."

"So are you happy with it?"

"Of course! That is why I made my decision."

"All right, then," Game Guy said with a smile, "Now it's time to announce the final results of Game Guy's Big Roulette! Toad, are you ready?"

"As I'll ever be!" Toad replied with a thumbs up.

"Then let's do it! For 25,780 coins and a brand new kart, Toad..."

Toad looked at the wheel, took one final deep breath and then...

It is time.

"SPIN THAT SHELL!"

With that, Toad dropped the shell onto the wheel and then, the final spin has begun.

Game Guy looked at the wheel and said, "Here we go, folks. The final spin of the game. This is so exciting!"

After twenty seconds of spinning, the shell has made its decision. Game Guy smiled and said, "This is it! The shell is slowing down and in just a few seconds, we'll have the final results. What will it be? We're about to find out right now because the winning number is..."

Toad looked at the wheel as he is waiting for the results. Then he watched the shell for the last time and then...

THUD!

The shell landed on a number. Game Guy looked at the final results and then...

It's official.

"SEVEN!"

He did it! Toad has won the game with the final bet as he jumped for joy. Game Guy came to him and said with a hug, "Congratulations, Toad! You've won the game! That was an amazing performance you've done today!"

"Thanks, Game Guy," Toad replied with a smile, "I'm so happy because seven is a very lucky number and now, here I am as the big winner!"

"Of course you are and for that, it gives me great pleasure to present you with this check for 25,780 coins, and these keys to your brand new Pipe Frame!"

Just then, the curtain opens up and it revealed Toad's blue Pipe Frame.

Toad was amazed when he saw his new vehicle as Game Guy gave him the money and the keys. Then he winked at the readers and said with a smile, "Now that's a very lucky ending!"
