Luigi's Glitz Pit Match

On a perfect day at the Glitz Pit in Glitzville, Luigi is gearing up for his fight and he is so excited to be fighting in front of a huge crowd. He smiled to himself and said, "I can't believe that I'm going up against a strong opponent and this is going to be a great battle. Well, let's-a go!"

At the arena, everyone is gearing up for a spectacular showdown as Prince Mush came in to the ring. He said, "Good afternoon, fight fans! Are you ready for another exciting day of battles at the Glitz Pit?"

The crowd agreed with him as they are cheering with excitement.

"That's what I'm talking about! For our first match of the day, we have the Green Thunder facing off against the Razor Blade Brigadier in a spectacular exhibition battle! Now then, shall we meet them?"

"YEAH!" The crowd replied.

Mush pointed to the blue door and said, "All right! First up, we have a Dark Koopatrol who is one of the major-league fighters in this arena. He is the warrior who can take on any opponent. Here he is, the Razor Blade Brigadier... THE KOOPINATOR!"

Just then, the blue doors open up and The Koopinator entered the ring with his trademark armor as the crowd cheered for him.

Then Mush pointed to the red door and said, "And his opponent is the lean, mean, green fighting machine. He loves to play sports with his brother in his spare time and he is one of the Mushroom Kingdom's protectors! You know him, you love him! Please welcome the Green Thunder... LUIGI!"

And on his cue, the red doors open up as Luigi triple jumped his way to the ring and made a perfect landing as the crowd cheered for his entrance.

Prince Mush came to the center of the ring and said, "All right, guys. This is just an exhibition match so I want to see a good, clean fight. Now shake hands and come out fighting at the sound of the gong."

Both fighters agreed with him as they shook their hands. Then Luigi smiled and said, "May the best fighter win?"

"You know it," The Koopinator replied as they prepare for battle.

Prince Mush walked on over to the gong, picked up his hammer and said, "Fighters, are you ready?"

"Ready," Luigi and the Koopinator replied with a thumbs up.

"All right, then! Here we go! Ready..."

Both fighters assumed their battle stance as they await the signal from Prince Mush and while they're waiting, the entire arena grew very silent. Just one single sound would get them fighting and that is the striking of the gong.

After ten seconds of waiting, everything is ready. Mush looked at the fighters, took one final deep breath and with a perfect swing...

It is time.

"FIGHT!"

GONG!

And right on cue, Luigi and The Koopinator charged into battle as the gong crashed to officially start the match.

Luigi starts the match with some kicks while The Koopinator punched him with some fast reflexes. Prince Mush saw it and said, "Looks like we're off to a great start as both fighters used their melee attacks."

Luigi took out his Fire Flower and then he became Fire Luigi. He threw some fireballs at The Koopinator and then, he hid in his shell unharmed as the fireballs hit him.

The Koopinator came out of the shell and said, "Do you think you could defeat me with your fireballs?"

"Of course I will," Luigi replied while throwing some more, "I hope you like roasted Koopa!"

Just then, one of the fireballs hit him and it does some damage to The Koopinator.

Then The Koopinator hid in his shell, charged up with all of his might and sped his way to Luigi with his Power Shell.

Luigi saw it coming and with a smile, he did his superguard as the attack connects, dealing no damage at all.

Prince Mush saw it all and said, "A nice superguard by Luigi and he took no damage from the Power Shell! Now that's how you defend a strong attack."

The arena agreed with him as they are cheering with excitement.

"Wow! You are one tough fighter," The Koopinator said with a smile.

"Thank you," Luigi replied, "Now let's keep going!"

"You got it!"

So Luigi and The Koopinator kept on going as they used their techniques to battle each other. Kicks, punches, headbutts, you name it!

After over an hour of battling, The Koopinator charged at Luigi and said, "Power Shell!"

Luigi took out his Emerald Star and with a smile, he stopped his opponent cold with the Clock Out technique.

Then Luigi charged up his Thunderhand, took careful aim at The Koopinator and said, "Let's finish this! Thunderhand..."

Everyone looked at him as he charged up even more thunder energy. The process takes a few seconds and then...

It is time.

"FINAL STRIKE!"

ZAP!

With the words shouted, the attack was released at full power as it is heading straight for The Koopinator. He braced himself for impact and then...

BOOM!

A shocking explosion came in as the attack makes a direct hit.

After a few seconds of waiting, the Thunderhand was a success and The Koopinator is seen laying on the arena floor after a shocking attack to finish the hard fought battle.

Prince Mush looked at the sight, ran straight to the gong for the final announcement and then...

GONG!

"GAME! The winner of this match is... LUIGI!"

Luigi jumped for joy as the entire arena cheered for his amazing victory. Then he pointed at the crowd using his fingers as guns and said, "Bang, bang!"

The Koopinator stood up from the knockout and said, "That was a great fight, Luigi. Your Thunderhand attack was amazing!"

"Thanks, Koopinator," Luigi replied with a smile as they shook hands, "I learned that from the Beanbean Kingdom. Say, care for some hot dogs?"

"You got it!"

And so, Luigi and The Koopinator smiled to the crowd as they left the arena to get some food after a hard fought battle.
