31 Years of Mario Kart: A Poem by Lakitu
On a perfect day at Mario Circuit, Lakitu is enjoying his role as the referee as he is about to start the race. Then he smiled to the readers and said, "Oh, hello there. Lakitu here and you're just in time because I have a special poem for you and I hope you'll enjoy it!"
Then Lakitu took out his card and with a smile, he read the poem.
"Thirty-one years of racing fun...
...in a series fit for everyone...
...from Rainbow Road to a Spiny Shell...
...you'll be racing very well...
...so enjoy the fun with your family and friends...
...because the racing action never ends...
...and so the race is about to start...
...here's to 31 years of Mario Kart!"
When Lakitu was done, he said, "That's right, everyone. Thirty-one years of Mario Kart racing and I love it! See you on the track!"
