Toadette and the Cheeseburger

(A/N: Happy National Cheeseburger Day!)

On a perfect afternoon in Toad Town, Toadette is enjoying the sights of the town when suddenly, her watch beeped. She smiled to herself and said, "It's noon! That means it's lunchtime and I know where can I get something to eat at this time, Burger Shroom! Let's go!"

So Toadette came to the restaurant and when she got there, she saw Lakitu running the place. He smiled at her and said, "Well good afternoon to you, Toadette! What can I get you today?"

"Let me have a Superstar Cheeseburger!" Toadette replied with a thumbs up.

"Well Toadette, today is your lucky day because it's National Cheeseburger Day and everyone know that on this day, you get to eat a special Superstar Cheeseburger for free and to make it fair, you'll get to choose one extra ingredient that goes with your burger... RANDOMLY!"

"Cool! So, how can I do that?"

Lakitu took out a die and said, "With this special ingredient die! Now on this die are six special ingredients and each one has a different flavor. All you have to do is give it a good roll and you're good to go so, are you ready?"

"Of course I'm ready for this," Toadette replied as Lakitu passed the die to him.

Wasting no time, Toadette shook the die in her hand and with a perfect release...

The moment came.

ROLL

As soon as she lets go of her hand, the die was thrown to the table. Toadette looked at the die and then...

THUD!

The decision has been made as the die shows some bacon faceup.

Lakitu looked at the results and said, "Well Toadette, it looks like you'll be eating a Superstar Bacon Cheeseburger today because the special ingredient is some bacon! Now then, are you ready to eat?"

"You know it," Toadette replied as Lakitu got to work on her bacon cheeseburger.

After five minutes of waiting, Toadette's burger is all wrapped up and ready to go. Lakitu came to her with a tray of food and said, "Here it is, Toadette! Your free Superstar Bacon Cheeseburger is served along with some Superstar Fries and some Mushroom Soda!"

"Thank you, Lakitu," Toadette said with a smile.

"You're very welcome! Enjoy!"

So Toadette came to a nearby table and sat down with her food.

Then she took out her wrapper and inside is her Superstar Bacon Cheeseburger.

Toadette looked at the burger and said with a smile, "Now that's a great cheeseburger right there and it smells so good! Well, let's dig in!"

Wasting no time, Toadette placed her hands on the burger, opened her mouth and then...

CHOMP!

She took her first bite with a mighty chomp.

"Oh my goodness," Toadette said with her mouth full, "This burger is amazing and I love it! Now let's keep going."

And so, Toadette is enjoying her afternoon as she munches down on her burger.
