Daisy's Human Cannonball Performance
On a perfect afternoon in Mushroom City, Daisy is enjoying the show at the famous Superstar Circus as she saw some acrobats performing on stage. She smile to herself and said, "I love this show and everyone knows that it is he best circus show in the entire Mushroom Kingdom."
Just then, MC Ballyhoo came on stage and said, "And now, it is time to have a blast with this next act because we're going to shoot someone out of a cannon and to do that, I'll need a volunteer from the audience. Big Top, who will be the lucky person to take on as the Human Cannonball?"
Big Top looked at the crowd and after a few seconds of thinking, he said, "How about that lovely princess with a yellow dress!"
"You mean Daisy?"
"That's the name!"
"Alright, then! Daisy, please join us center stage!"
So Daisy came out of the seat from the audience as the crowd is cheering for her.
When she got there, MC Ballyhoo came to her and said, "Good afternoon, Daisy!"
"Same to you, guys," Daisy replied with a smile, "I'm so happy to be here on this stage for a special performance."
"That's what I like to hear about. Daisy, are you ready to have a blast?"
"You know I'm ready for this!"
MC Ballyhoo agreed with her decision and said, "Okay, then! Big Top, bring out the Superstar Cannon!"
"You got it," Big Top replied as he opened his hat and in an instant, a cannon came out and it landed center stage as the crowd cheered for its appearance.
Daisy saw it all and said, "So this is the official Superstar Cannon?"
"That's right, Daisy," Ballyhoo replied, "This cannon is painted with Super Stars all around it and it even has a very long fuse. Now here's how it works. First, you'll be going inside this cannon by using this ladder. Then my assistant Big Top will light the fuse and the countdown begins. When that fuse goes all the way to the cannon... BOOM! You'll be soaring to the air and waiting for you at the other side is a target. If you can hit the target, then you'll get a huge surprise at the end!"
"Cool! What is it?"
"You'll see it when it happens. Well Daisy, this is it! Are you ready for your performance?"
Daisy looked at the cannon and with a huge smile, she said, "I'm ready for blastoff! Let's do it!"
"Okay," MC Ballyhoo replied with a smile, "It is now time to have a blast! Daisy, enter the cannon!"
So Daisy climbed up the ladder and when she got to the cannon, she entered it with a smile on her face.
MC Ballyhoo came to the fuse of the cannon and said, "And now, watch as Daisy gets shot out like a Bullet Bill because it is time for the Human Cannonball! Daisy, are you ready?"
"I'm ready and raring to go," Daisy replied with a thumbs up, "Let's have a blast!"
"All right, then! Big Top, are you ready?"
Big Top looked at the fuse and with a smile, he said, "You bet and by the way, this is a very long fuse and it will take ten seconds to send her flying! Looks like we're going to need an official countdown from the audience."
"Well said, hat," MC Ballyhoo replied with a smile as they turned to the audience, "Everyone, would you like to join us?"
"YEAH!" The crowd replied with a cheer as MC Ballyhoo takes out the torch.
"Okay! As soon as we light the fuse, the countdown will begin. So without further ado, here we go!"
With that, MC Ballyhoo came to the fuse and then, it started to burn as the drum roll began.
Everyone saw the fuse, took a deep breath and then...
The countdown began.
"10..."
"9..."
"8..."
"7..."
"6..."
"5..."
"4..."
"3..."
"2..."
"1..."
Daisy braced herself for impact as the fuse reached the cannon. Then she looked at the sight, took one final deep breath and then...
It is time.
BOOM!
With a huge blast, the cannon has been fired and Daisy is screaming with joy as the crowd cheered for her. Then with a huge smile, she aimed at the target and then...
DING!
She made a perfect landing as confetti fell on her with the crowd cheering for that amazing performance.
MC Ballyhoo came to Daisy and said, "Ladies and gentlemen, Daisy the Human Cannonball! That was an amazing performance!"
"A truly spectacular performance," Big Top added.
"Thanks, guys," Daisy replied, "This is indeed my best performance ever on this show and I can't wait to do it again!"
And so, Daisy is enjoying her afternoon as she made a great performance.
