Ice Hockey Fun with Boom Boom and Pom Pom

On a beautiful winter afternoon at Bowser's Castle, Boom Boom and Pom Pom are having a great time ice skating in their Castle Ice Rink when suddenly, Boom Boom has an idea. He said, "Do you want to play some ice hockey?"

"Sure," Pom Pom replied with a smile, "I love to have an ice hockey match with you and good thing we brought our hockey sticks for this occasion. Now all we need is a referee and we're ready to play!"

Just then, they heard a voice and it said, "Did somebody call for a referee?"

"Lakitu," Boom Boom and Pom Pom said with a smile.

Lakitu came to them and said "Hey guys! I just heard that you're having an ice hockey match and good thing I brought an official puck and whistle for this amazing showdown! So you know how it works. I'll drop the puck at center ice to start the game, and then you'll have three minutes to score as many goals as you can. Boom Boom, you'll be defending the blue goal on your side, and Pom Pom will defend the red goal on her side. If there's a tie, then we'll go to overtime an extra minute. Got it?"

"Got it," Boom Boom and Pom Pom replied with a smile, "Let's do this!"

"All right, then! Take your place at center ice and let's get ready for the opening face off!"

With that, Boom Boom and Pom Pom came to center ice with their sticks as the scoreboard is set for three minutes. The ice hockey game is about to begin.

Lakitu came to them with a puck on his fishing rod and said, "Well guys. this is it! The clock is set for three minutes and that means we're all set and ready to play! Now as soon as I drop the puck, the game will begin. Good luck to the both of you and have fun! So, are you ready?"

"Ready," Boom Boom and Pom Pom replid with a smile!

"Alright then, let's play ice hockey! Ready..."

Boom Boom and Pom Pom looked at each other as they are tensed up and ready to go. They took a deep breath, waited for the puck to drop and then...

It is time.

"GO!"

DROP!

With the word shouted, Lakitu dropped the puck onto the ice and then, Boom Boom took control as the game begins.

Boom Boom and Pom Pom are having a great time playing ice hockey as Lakitu watched the game from his cloud. Then he smiled and said to the readers, "I love a nice hockey game and after all, it's the holiday season! Happy holidays, everyone!"
