"Hey everyone, I think I found what we're looking for!" Natasha suddenly exclaimed, gesturing for all of them to gather around her. Once everyone was surrounding Natasha, she pointed toward the computer screen. "I dug up some messages from Fisk to Dr. Octavius. Apparently, they're holding Anne captive in an abandoned factory. We can get there in less than twenty minutes if we leave now, but there will be a lot of guards watching her...shit...Doc Ock will probably be there too."

"It doesn't matter how many thugs are in our way, we'll save Anne and get Eddie away from Fisk." Peter said in a determined tone as he put his mask back on. "Let's get going right away. We may even find some information about Goblin and Miguel's device there."

"We'll definitely free her..." Gwen said, the Venom symbiote spreading across her body, which caught Felicia off guard. "And tear those bastards to pieces."

"Okaaaay...that's new..." Felicia said in a cautious tone as she took a step away from Gwenom. "Well, like I told Peter earlier, I'll help you guys out."

"I don't know how much help I'll be, but I'll do my best." Cindy said enthusiastically, practically bouncing with bubbly, excited energy. "Let's kick some bad guy butt and save Anne!"

"I guess I'm not coming along this time either?" Miles asked as he looked up at Peter, already knowing his answer. "I would just get in the way."

"That's not it, Miles." Peter said, bending down slightly so that he was at eye level with Miles. "This job would just be too dangerous for you, especially since you don't have any training yet." With a small smile, Peter reached out and placed his hand on Miles' shoulder. "But once this job is over, I'll definitely show you the ropes!"

"Sounds good, Peter." Miles said as he smiled himself before his eyes suddenly lit up. "Oh! I know what I can do! I can put the finishing touches on my costume while you guys are gone! I'll have it ready by the time you all get back!"

"Can't wait to see it, kid." Natasha said, clicking on her utility belt as he patted Miles' head. "Alright guys, I'm all ready to go."

"If we're all ready, let's head out." Peter said as he turned to face the rest of his team, seeing the determined looks on all of their faces. "Let's get this done."

"Well, since Widow and I don't have fancy web shooters, I guess I'll go with her." Felicia said, resting her hands on her hips as she glanced over at the redheaded Avenger. "So, are we taking one of the Avenger's fancy jets or something?"

"We're in the middle of New York City. No, we will not be flying there." Black Widow replied dryly as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a pair of keys, dangling them in front of Felicia. "We'll take my bike."

"Ugh, fine. My hair is gonna be absolutely ruined..." Felicia said, pouting a bit as she brushed some hair out of her eyes. "If I'm gonna work with the Avengers, I figured I'd at least get to use some of your fancy toys."

"Oh, can it." Natasha grumbled as she walked past Felicia toward the set of elevators. "Let's just get this over with."

"We'll meet you both at the factory." Peter said as he led Gwen and Cindy toward the second elevator. "Now, let's go save, Anne!"

(Two Minutes Later: Avengers Helipad)

"Okay, let's do this..." Gwen said, walking to the edge of the helipad and staring at the streets far below them. A split second later, the Venom symbiote spread across Gwen's body. "So, you still scared of heights, girl?"

"Nah, I'm good now! This whole crime-fighting thing is actually pretty fun!" Cindy replied with a smirk before she pulled up her face wrap. Taking a few steps back, Cindy got a running start and lept off the helipad, letting out an excited scream as she descended toward the ground. "Come on, you slowpokes!"

"Can't let the newbie show us up!" Peter exclaimed, leaping off the roof and following after Cindy, with Gwenom right behind him. As Peter rapidly approached the street below, he fired out a line of webbing, attaching to a building and swinging only a few feet off the ground. After propelling himself forward, Peter quickly caught up with Cindy, noticing that her swinging technique had improved significantly. "Looks like you're really getting the hang of this, Cindy!"

"It just feels so natural!" Cindy yelled as she fired several lines of webbing out of her fingertips, swinging off a lampost and propelling herself forward. Performing several aerial flips and twirls, Cindy laughed heartily and swung off a nearby building. "I had no idea being a superhero could be this fun!"

"It's not all fun and games girl." Gwenom said, sprinting along the side of a building before leaping off it and firing a line of jet-black webbing. "If you're not careful, you'll end up getting killed in this line of work."

"That was a bit harsh...but she's right Cindy." Peter said as he swung alongside Cindy, seeing the pensive look in her eyes. "There's nothing wrong with enjoying being a hero, hell, I love being Spider-Man. But you always have to remember that every time you're out here, your life, and more importantly, other people's lives, could be on the line."

"I guess you're right...I need to remember how dangerous this job is." Cindy said, releasing a light sigh as released her webbing at the apex of her swing, launching her several stories into the air. Once Cindy lost momentum and began to descend, she fired out a fresh line of webbing and continued swinging. "I mean, we're going rescue someone from a bunch of Fisk's armed thugs, and probably Doc Ock. It's time for me to get serious."

"You both can shut up now, we can see the factory." Gwenom before they grunted softly, landing on the side of a building and sticking to it. Their eyes narrowed slightly as they gazed at the sprawling factory, a low growl rumbling in their throat. "Damn it...this place is massive..."

"And judging from the guards posted outside..." Peter said, scanning the front of the factory and quickly spotting almost a dozen guards near the entrance alone, with several more patrolling the rooftop. "There's probably a lot more inside too."

"I see Felicia and Natasha, we should meet up with them and come up with a plan of attack." Cindy said as she pointed toward an alley below, spotting Widow's motorcycle. Climbing down the side of the building, the three spider-people dropped down in front of Felicia and Natasha. "Looks like you guys beat us here."

"You should have seen this maniac driving. I was scared to fucking death." Felicia grumbled, jamming her thumb toward Natasha as she frantically tried to fix her wind-blown hair. "I thought I was going to die."

"Ugh, would you stop complaining for five minutes..." Natasha muttered as she began to rifle through her utility belt. After a few seconds, she pulled out what appeared to be a miniature drone. "You can walk next time."

"So, what's the plan?" Peter asked, partially removing his mask as he checked his web fluid. "We can't just rush in through the front gate."

"Why not?" Gwenom growled as a few black tendrils extended off their body. "We'll smash through those bastards and rescue Anne."

"Just calm down and give me a moment." Natasha said, tapping a device on her wrist. After a few more clicks, the small drone in Widow's hand whirred to life and lifted up into the air. "I'll use this drone to scout the area." Remotely controlling the drone with her wrist device, Natasha began to circle the factory. "I'm seeing ten guards at the front gate...four more near the entrance...six patrolling the rooftop...and...eight more at a back loading dock."

"Damn...almost thirty guys and the drone hasn't even entered the building yet." Peter said as he stroked his chin and narrowed his eyes slightly, pondering their current situation. "I think our best bet is to enter through the roof and work our way down into the factory."

"I agree with Peter." Cindy said, gazing at the display on Widow's wrist as the drone finally entered the factory. "Our best bet is to go in through the roof."

"You pussies can sneak around like scared little babies..." Gwenom snarled as their eyes narrowed dangerously, glaring at the guards standing near the front gate. "We'll keep the guards outside busy." However, just as Gwenom began to storm out of the alley, they grunted as the symbiote began to retract, with Gwen taking back full control. "Okay, we need to lay down some goddamn ground rules. You do NOT talk to my friends like that dude! I'm cool with distracting the guards out front, but come on, there's no need to insult everyone else." The symbiote rumbled and grumbled before fully spreading across Gwen's body once again. With a huff, Gwenom walked back toward the rest of the group, crossing their arms. "Fine, we'll play nice. And...sorry...I suppose you're not all pussies..."

"Glad you're not going rogue on us..." Natasha said, piloting the drone through the air ducts and into the factory. Entering the main production area, Black Widow clicked her tongue when she spotted even more guards inside. "I've spotted at least twenty more guards inside...they couldn't make this easy could they..." Maneuvering the drone toward what appeared to be a set of offices, Natasha stopped when she finally got eyes on their target. "I've found Anne. She's one of the offices overlooking the production area...and there's..." She stopped midsentence when she spotted the unmistakable mechanical legs of Doctor Octavius just out of frame. "Shit...Doc Ock is definitely in there with her."

"So, stealth really is gonna be our best option." Felicia said as she rested her hands on her hips. "The last thing we need is to cause a commotion and have Doc Ock either endanger Anne or run off with her."

"So, that means you can forget about distracting the guards out front." Natasha said, glancing over at Gwenom which caused the symbiote to grumble in frustration. "We can't have you alerting the guards until we've rescued Anne."

"We understand, but we do not do stealth." Gwenom said moments before the symbiote retracted and Gwen took back over. "For the record, I can do stealth just fine."

"Looks like you're still working things out with your new...uh...partner?" Cindy said in a confused tone, cocking her head slightly as she stared at Gwenom. "Either way, why don't Peter, Felicia, Natasha, and I sneak inside the factory? Gwen can hang back and provide extra muscle if we need it."

"That works. I'll actually hang back and provide support with Gwen." Natasha said as she hid the drone in a corner overlooking the main factory floor. "The more of us in there at once, the easier it will be for someone to get caught. Three should be more than enough."

"Fine..." Gwenom grumbled, a low growl rumbling in their throat. "But I better get to see some action."

"Sounds good..." Peter said as he began to climb up a nearby wall. "Cindy, Felicia, let's do this."

"Right behind you, Peter!" Cindy exclaimed, following behind her fellow spider-person. However, before she got too far up the wall, Cindy looked back at Black Cat. "Felicia, do you need help getting up to the roof?"

"Nah, I'll be fine." Felicia said as she reached into her belt and pulled out what appeared to be a grappling gun. After taking aim, Felicia fired out a line that attached to the building's roof. Once she was sure the line was secure, Felicia began to rapidly ascend up the wall. "Let's get this over with quickly."

(Five Minutes Later: Factory Roof)

"Okay Natasha, we're on the roof of the factory..." Peter whispered, hanging off a smokestack, with Cindy and Felicia waiting beside him. "Guide us inside."

"Give me one second Peter, I'm bringing the drone back outside now...alright...okay...from what I can see, there's only one way inside the factory from the roof. There's a door, that leads to a stairwell...that's your ticket inside...but from what I can see, there are at least five guards patrolling near that entrance. If you can take them out, you'll have your way inside."

"Got it, we'll get it done." Peter said as he glanced at Felicia and Cindy, gesturing toward the guards Natasha had pointed out. "Okay girls, we need to take those guards out quietly. Then, we'll have a way inside the factory."

"I-I'll do my best..." Cindy breathed out, taking a deep breath to try and calm herself as he clutched a hand over her racing heart. "I can do this."

"Please, I won't even break a sweat." Felicia said with a smirk before she dropped down onto the roof, landing gracefully without making a sound. "This is my specialty."

"I'll take the two on the right." Peter said, landing next to Felicia and pointing toward a pair of guards leaning against a railing as they took a smoke break. "Felicia, you take the two on the other side of the roof. Cindy, you get the guy near the door. But Cindy, you need to take your guy out first. He'll be able to see Felicia and me before we're able to take down the other guards."

"Our you really sure I should-"

"Cindy, I believe in you." Peter cut Silk off before she could continue doubting herself. Hearing Peter's reassuring words caused a faint blush to spread across Cindy's face. "You were so confident when we were swinging earlier. Use that same confidence here. I know you can do it."

"You're right. I'll get it done. Thanks, Peter, I needed that." Cindy said, taking one last deep breath before she sprang off the smokestack and latched onto another one nearby. After a few moments, Cindy managed to use the smokestacks to cover most of the rooftops and position herself above the guard she needed to take down. Using her webs, Cindy began to slowly and silently lower herself toward the guard. Looking utterly bored, the guard seemed to be more interested in scrolling on his phone, instead of keeping an eye out for intruders. "I need to take him out quickly and quietly. I can't let Peter and Felicia down."

"What's the situation on the roof?" Less than five feet above the guard, Cindy's breath hitched when she heard his radio go off. Immediately freezing in place, Cindy watched as the guard groaned in frustration and slipped his phone back into his pocket.

"Things are just peachy up here. Same as the last fucking fifteen times you've checked in Doc. Why the hell do you even have us standing up here anyway? Who the fuck is gonna come in through the damn roof?"

"I don't appreciate your tone...but if you really can't figure it out yourself...you're up there to keep an eye out for Spider-Man."

"Spider-Man? Didn't we kidnap Venom's broad? Why the hell would he show up here, don't those two hate each other?"

"Those two may not see eye-to-eye, but they certainly aren't enemies anymore. So, it's logical that Brock may try to reach out to Spider-Man and ask for his assistance."

"Tch, I guess you're right. But, how the hell would Brock even get in touch with Spider-Man? We took his phone away and have been monitoring his every move."

"Brock's more clever than he looks. I have no doubt that if he hasn't already, he will find a way to contact Spider-Man. So, it is of the utmost importance that we stop him from rescuing Anne before we're finished with Brock. Do you understand?"

"I got it. I got it. We'll keep our eyes peeled for Spider-Man. Sheesh, you're a lot different than I expected Doc."

"Hmmm, well, you're about what I'd expect from the typical, expendable goon."

"Hey! Listen here, you-" The guard started to hiss in anger but stopped when the radio feed was suddenly cut off. Growling in frustration, the guard began to dig into his pocket. "Fucking bitch." Pulling out his phone, the guard was just about to start his aimless scrolling once again. However, just as he went to unlock his phone, he stopped when he noticed something odd in the darkened screen's reflection. Whipping his head up, the guard's eyes widened in shock when he locked eyes with Silk. "What the fuck!?"

"Hey." Cindy said before she released her webbing. Just as the guard was reaching for his gun, Cindy crashed into him. With a thud, Cindy slammed the thug to the ground, kneeling on his back. Just as the guard began to groggily look up, Cindy punched the back of his head, slamming it back against the roof. After taking a few rapid breaths, and feeling her heart thundering in her chest, Cindy saw that the guard appeared to be knocked out cold. "Well, that could have gone better...but it could have also gone a lot worse. I'll take it as a win."

After webbing the guard up, Cindy signaled for Peter and Felicia to take down their targets. Black Cat sprang into action first, bounding across the rooftop and closing the distance on guards in seconds. Once she was close enough, Felicia lept toward the closest guard, wrapping her legs around his neck. Showcasing her impressive flexibility and strength, Felicia used her legs and slammed the guard onto the ground, knocking him out cold instantly. Before the second guard could even reach for his gun, Felicia pounced on him. Wrapping herself around the guard, Felicia wrestled him to the ground and soon got him into a chokehold with her thigh. The guard frantically began to slap and pound at Felicia's leg, but it was no use. After a few moments, the guard's attempts to break free slowed, before stopping entirely.

"My two are down." Felicia said over the radio, quickly stripping both guards of their weapons and radios. "Just you now, Spider."

"Hey, fellas." Peter said in a jovial tone as he popped up behind the guards having a smoke break, causing them both to yelp in surprise. Clicking his tongue in disappointment and shaking his head, Peter fired a line of webbing and snatched the cigarette out of one of the guard's hands. Dropping the cigarette, Peter stomped it out. "You know, you really shouldn't smoke these. They're bad for your health." Just as the guards scrambled for their weapons, Peter webbed both their heads and slammed them together. With a pained grunt, both guards collapsed to the ground unconscious. "Well, I guess head trauma isn't good for your health either."

"We all clear, Peter?" Cindy asked, approaching the webslinger and flinching slightly when she saw the unconscious guards. "Man, you really knocked those guy's lights out."

"They'll be fine in a bit...when they're in police custody." Peter said as he took a moment web both guards up and destroy their guns. "So, how's your first mission going?"

"I mean...I'm still pretty nervous." Cindy said, pulling down her face wrap as her face scrunched up. "But, I'm trying to stay confident like you said. Like with the guard I took out...I fumbled a bit, but I got it done."

"There's no playbook on how to be a hero, Cindy. I've been doing this for years and I still make mistakes." Peter said as he pulled up his mask and locked eyes with Cindy. "But no matter how many mistakes you make, you need to keep getting back up and pushing forward. Those mistakes are valuable lessons and will help you grow into a better hero. I can't tell you how many times I've screwed up, but ended up learning a new technique or solutions to a problem because of it."

"Wow...that actually makes me feel a lot better." Cindy said, a smile spreading across her face as her cheeks flushed slightly. "Thanks a lot, Peter. You're actually a pretty good teacher."

"Man, I wish I would have recorded that. I could have rubbed it in Tony's face..." Peter said with a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head. "I just hope I do a good job showing Miles the ropes. After what happened to him...he really needs someone to show him the way."

"Don't worry, Peter. I'm sure you'll-" Cindy stopped mid-sentence when she felt her entire body starting to heat up. She could feel her heart racing as her breathing began to quicken. It was then that Cindy noticed how close she was to Peter. Throughout their brief conversation, she hadn't even noticed how her body was subconsciously moving closer to him. By the time Cindy realized their proximity, she was practically touching him. Recoiling away, Cindy took a few gracious steps back. "I...um...I'm sorry about that, Peter. I completely forgot about the pheromones."

"Don't worry about it, Cindy...I forgot about them too..." Peter said with a small smile as he pulled his mask back down, hiding his flushed face. "Now, let's go check on Felicia."

"Looks like you two are finally done flirting." Felicia teased, glancing over at Cindy and Peter as they approached. Crouched down in front of the door that would lead them into the factory, Felicia turned her attention back to the lock she was currently picking. "Give me one sec and this will be..." Felicia's tongue stuck out slightly as she continued to work the lock. Then, after another twist, Felicia smirked when a satisfying click sounded. Standing up, Felicia opened the door with a smug smile. "And, we're in."

"Nice work, Felicia." Peter said as he pressed a hand to his ear and entered the factory. "Natasha, we're in."

"I've golt eyes on you now." Just then, Peter noticed the miniature drone hovering in front of him. "Anne is being the offices above the main factory floor. Once you guys exit that stairwell, you should be on a catwalk near the back of the factory. The good news is, that you'll be able to take that catwalk to the offices. Just avoid any guards and you'll be able to grab Anne and get out."

"What about the freak with robot legs?" Felicia asked, starting to descend the stairs, with Cindy and Peter following right behind her. "We'd hate to bump into him."

"I didn't see him leave the offices, so expect him to still be there."

"Well...with the three of us...we should be able to handle Doc Ock no problem..." Cindy said as the trio finally reached the bottom of the stairs. "Right guys?"

"It's not Doc I'm worried about..." Felicia said, slowly cracking open the door that led into the factory. Once the door was partially open, Felicia poked her head through and scanned the area. After a few moments, she sighed and turned to face Peter and Cindy. "I'm more concerned about the thirty or so armed goons patrolling the floor below us. If we're caught, it's gonna be a lot harder to get Anne out of here safely."

"We just need to keep moving stealthily. I can see the offices from here." Peter said as he pointed toward a structure with several windows toward the center of the factory. "And Natasha was right. We just need to follow this catwalk. It's pretty much a straight shot."

"But we can't just walk across the catwalk." Cindy said, gazing at the vast amount of open space they'd have to cover. "If just one of those thugs looks up, we'll be spotted right away."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Did you actually think we'd be walking across the catwalk, Cindy?" Peter asked as he jokingly wagged his finger. Seeing Cindy give him a confused look, Peter pointed toward the ceiling above them. Quickly realizing what Peter meant, Cindy muttered an embarrassed 'oh' and nodded her head. "Cindy and I will have no problem..." Gazing up, Peter noticed a series of support beams that spanned the entire ceiling. "But, will you be okay, Felicia?"

"Please, this is child's play." Felicia said, pulling out her grappling gun and firing a line at the ceiling. Once her line was secured on a support beam, Felicia quickly scaled a nearby wall and made her way to the ceiling. Hanging upside down, Felicia clung to the support beam and began to make her way to the offices, with Peter and Felicia crawling along the ceiling beside her. After swiftly and quietly crossing above the factory floor, the trio dropped down in front of the door that would lead them into the offices. "See, that was easy. Now, let's get Anne and get the hell out of here."

"I'm still worried about Doc Ock, where the hell did he go?" Peter muttered before he reached out and slowly opened the door. Stepping inside the area holding the offices, Peter crept through a dimly lit hallway, with Cindy and Felicia following closely behind him. After walking past several darkened offices, Peter spotted light poking through a door at the end of the hall. Soon reaching the cracked open door, Peter peeked inside and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Anne, tied to a chair in the center of the room. Quickly scanning the rest of what appeared to be a break room, Peter noticed no one else was inside besides a brunette woman who was typing away on a laptop. "Okay, I see Anne, and there's only one person in the room with her."

"I say you just web the other person up and grab Anne." Felicia suggested as she leaned against Peter and peeked into the room as well. "The sooner we're out of here the better."

"Alright, let's do this." Peter said, pushing the door open and stepping into the room. As soon as the woman typing on her laptop noticed them, Peter fired out a line of webbing, sticking her hands to her computer. The woman wore a white lab coat, with a scarf wrapped around her neck, and a pair of white-rimmed glasses. Her brunette hair was frizzled, disheveled, and thick, held out of her face by a plaid headband. "Sorry about this ma'am, but we really need to save your captive. Don't worry, those webs will dissolve in about an hour."

"Oh, now this is fascinating..." The woman said with a smirk as she watched Peter, Cindy, and Felicia approach Anne. "I must thank you for not damaging my laptop. I have a lot of valuable research on here."

"Can it lady. Don't even think about yelling for help." Felicia said with a frown, pointing a finger at the woman before turning to face Peter. "Okay, let's hurry up and untie Anne."

"Peter...that woman...I don't know about her..." Cindy whispered as she glanced back at the webbed-up woman, who was still smirking at them. "She seems oddly calm."

"We don't have time to worry about some random scientist. Our goal is to get Anne out of here." Peter said, before removing the bindings from Anne's legs. However, when Peter went to remove the ropes binding Anne's arms, he noticed that she appeared to be panicking. Her eyes were wide and she was trying to say something, but the tape covering her mouth was stopping her. "What's wrong, An-" Peter stopped mid-sentence when his Spider-Senses started flaring. Before Peter could react, he was sent flying across the room, slamming hard into a wall. Groaning in pain, Peter watched with slightly blurry vision as the brunette woman was lifted out of her seat by a set of four inflatable legs. "What...the hell? Am I seeing things? A-Are you...Doc Ock?"

"The name is Dr. Olivia Octavius." The woman revealed with a smirk as she shed her lab coat, revealing that she was wearing a high-tech-looking suit underneath. "But my enemies do call me Doc Ock."

"Peter...what the fuck is going on here?" Felicia asked, quickly untying Anne and backing away from this new Doc Ock. "When did the egghead turn into a woman?"

"Wait...what if that's not our Doc Ock..." Cindy muttered as her eyes widened in realization. "What if she's from another dimension."

"Give this girl a gold star." Olivia said, slowly clapping her hands. "With the tech, Eddie Brock has stolen for us, my counterpart from this dimension was able to create a prototype of Miguel's inter-dimensional device. It still needs some kinks worked out, but after some initial tests, they were able to bring me into this dimension."

"Why the hell are you helping Kingpin?" Peter said with a grunt as he got back onto his feet, clutching his arching chest. "How much is he paying you?"

"Oh, I could care less about the money. I'm much more interested in helping develop inter-dimensional travel, it's truly fascinating stuff." Olivia revealed, raising herself higher into the air so that she now stood over the trio. "And once Kingpin gets the device working properly, there's nothing that can stop him from uniting villains from every dimension and ruling over the multi-verse!"

"That's what his plans are!?" Peter exclaimed in shock as he felt a chill run down his spine. "I won't let that happen! We'll stop you!"

"You're welcome to try. But your efforts will be in vain." Olivia said, before using one of her legs to grab a radio and raising it to her mouth. "Attention everyone, we have intruders. Spider-Man and some of his friends are here. Make sure they don't leave this factory alive...but try not to harm Anne, we can still use Eddie Brock."

"Felicia, Cindy, get Anne out of here! I'll handle Doc Ock!" Peter exclaimed as he leaped toward Doc Ock, trying to hit her with a punch, but she easily dodged him. Knowing it wasn't smart to argue, Felicia and Cindy quickly ushered Anne out of the office. After dodging an attack from one of Doc Ock's legs, Peter clung to a wall and pressed a hand to his ear. "Natasha! We managed to get Anne, but we've run into some trouble! No time to explain! If you and Ghost Spider are gonna help, now's the time!"

"We're moving in, Peter!"

"Calling on your little friends for help?" Olivia asked in a snide tone, rushing toward Peter at an impressive speed. The wallcrawler gasped in surprise when the metallic claws on one of Doc Ock's legs began to rapidly spin like a buzzsaw. Leaping out of the way, Peter narrowly managed to avoid the spinning blades of death, watching as it slammed clean through a wall. Retracting her mechanical leg, Olivia turned to face Peter. "I'll enjoy killing you, just like we killed the Spider-Man in my dimension."

"Man, I'm dead in SO many dimensions, it's a little disheartening." Peter quipped as he side-stepped another attack from Doc Ock. Reaching out, Peter grabbed the inflatable leg and yanked Doc Ock toward him. Cocking his fist pack, Peter hit Olivia with a powerful punch, sending her stumbling backward. "But as long as I'm alive, I won't stop until Kingpin is stopped. I won't let you bastards rule the multi-verse!"

"Tch, I'm tired of constantly having to squash annoying bugs..." Olivia grunted, regaining her composure and wiping some blood from her lips. "No matter how hard we knock you down, you always manage to keep getting back up."

"I can be stubborn like that." Peter joked as he balled his fists, glaring at Doc Ock. "Now, why don't you just make this easy for the both of us and give up?"

"That's a tempting offer, but I'll pass." Olivia said, using her artificial legs to lift herself into the air before she rushed toward Peter. However, she stopped when the front doors to the factory blew open, followed by several gunshots. Looking out a nearby window that overlooked the factory floor, Olivia's eyes widened when she saw what appeared to be a symbiote burst into the building. Black tendrils shot out of the symbiote user, picking up and slamming down several of her guards. Suddenly, Black Widow rushed into the factory as well, quickly dispatching two guards with her electrified batons. "What!? I thought Brock was still under our control! Why is a symbiote here?!"

"Looks like you didn't know that pieces of Venom can attach to new hosts." Peter said as he watched Gwenom tear the guns out of several guards' hands, effortlessly destroying them. With quick and brutal efficiency, Gwenom and Natasha made their way through the factory, taking out every guard that stood in their way. "We've rescued Anne and your guards are dropping like flies. Looks like you're running out of options, Doc. Wanna reconsider giving up?"

"Grrrr, you spiders truly test my patience." Olivia growled, whipping around to face Peter, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "I'll kill you, then return to Kingpin. We don't need Anne any longer and I don't need to deal with you pesky friends."

"Seems like we're both quite stubborn. The hard way it is then!" Peter exclaimed as he rushed toward Doc Ock, firing out several balls off webbing, pinning Olivia's mechanical legs down. Leaping into the air, Peter flipped over Doc Ock and kicked her in the back, sending her crashing to the ground. Pressing his foot onto Olivia's back, Peter grabbed ahold of one of her inflatable legs and began to tear it off. With a strained grunt, Peter managed to tear off one of Olivia's extra legs and toss it aside, causing her to scream in frustration. "One down, three to go!"

"ENOUGH!" Olivia roared, yanking one of her inflatable legs free and grabbing Peter's neck. Freeing her other legs, Olivia raised herself up and roughly slammed Peter to the ground. With a grunt, Peter attempted to pry away the claws wrapped around his neck, but his efforts seemed to be useless. Panting lightly, Doc Ock glared down at Peter, reveling as she watched him struggle to breathe. "I won't allow a few pesky spiders to stand in the way of our plans! Once I squash you, I'll kill your friends as well!"

The grip around Peter's neck tightened and truly began to panic, his vision starting to blur slightly as he felt his air supply dwindling. Peter attempted to kick at Olivia in an attempt to break free, but she simply dragged him across the floor until she was out of his reach. Then, when he tried to fire a line of webbing, Doc Ock used her two remaining legs to pin both his arms to the ground. However, just as Peter's vision began to darken, the wall beside him suddenly exploded open. Managing to turn his head, Peter felt a wave of relief wash over him when he spotted Gwen standing in the hole in the wall.

"Spider-Man! We're here to..." Gwen stopped mid-sentence when she saw the situation Peter was in. Immediately, Gwen's mind unconsciously flashed back to the day the Peter Parker in her dimension had died, remembering his body going limp in her arms. "Peter! No! NO! I can't let this happen again!"

In an instant, Gwen's emotions took control as she was overcome by an overwhelming rage. The Venom symbiote spread across Gwen's body as she let out a ferocious yell, black tendrils writhing around her body. Before Olivia could even react, Gwen exploded across the room and tackled her. Once Doc Ock was off of him, Peter coughed several times as he took several deep breaths. Rubbing his neck, Peter grunted as he got back onto his feet. However, there was no time to relax. Hearing a terrified scream, Peter whipped around and was shocked by what he saw.

Gwen, seemingly lost in a symbiote-powered rage, was on top of Olivia, her black tendrils savagely ripping the mechanical legs right of Doc Ock's suit. Before Doc Ock could try to escape, Gwen's tendrils pinned all of her limbs to the ground, causing her to yell in pain as her bones nearly broke. With an animalistic growl rumbling in her throat, Gwen tightly gripped Olivia's throat with both hands and began to squeeze. Panic filled Olivia's eyes as Gwenom leaned in closer, her grip on Doc Ock's throat tightening considerably.

"You...you...bitch...you were going to kill the man I love. " Gwenom snarled as her eyes narrowed, lifting Olivia's head slightly, before roughly slamming it back down. Olivia began to gasp and writhe violently as her face started to turn blue. "How does it feel, having the life choked out of you? With every second that passes, you draw closer and closer to death. Go on, let me see the light drain from your eyes."

"GWEN! THAT'S ENOUGH!" Peter exclaimed, immediately dashing across the room and grabbing ahold of his lover. Grunting in exertion, Peter tried to pull Gwen off of Olivia. But Gwenom didn't seem to budge, completely ignoring him. "Stop, Gwen! You're going to kill her!" Panic began to set in as Peter watched Olivia's eyes roll back, knowing that she was likely seconds away from dying. "GWEN! We don't kill! You need to stop! NOW!"

"We leave for two minutes and everything goes to shit." Peter was shocked when he heard a familiar voice speak from behind him. Turning around, he was surprised to see Felicia and Cindy standing behind him. Grabbing a small spherical object off her belt, Felicia twisted its top and tossed it in front of Gwenom. "Spider, Cindy, you're gonna want to cover your eyes and ears."

Quickly realizing what the object was, Peter did what he was told averting his gaze and covering his ears. A split second later, a blinding flash of light and deafening noise filled the room as Felicia's flashbang went off. Gwenom roared in agony as the symbiote partially split off of her body, rolling off of Olivia. Quickly moving in, Cindy grabbed Olivia and moved her out of the way, laying the horrified villain against a nearby wall. However, Gwenom quickly recovered from being stunned, still in a violent rage. Spotting Olivia, she tried to rush toward Doc Ock and finish her off. But, Gwenom was stopped in her tracks by Cindy and Peter, both of them wrapping her in webbing.

"C'mon, Gwen!" Cindy grunted, doing her best to hold Gwenon back as she kept trying to break free. "Snap out of it! This isn't you!"

"Gwen! I'm fine! We're all safe! Venom! Anne is safe too! There's no need to keep fighting! Stop now before you do something you'll regret!" Peter exclaimed as he fired out another barrage of webbing, fully encasing Gwenom. Taking a gamble, Peter rushed forward and hugged Gwen tightly, holding her close. This seemed to have an effect as Gwenom stopped thrashing around and seemed to calm down a bit. "It's alright, Gwen! Everything is okay! I know you were probably scared, seeing me like that, but I'm safe now." Grabbing Gwen's head, Peter pressed it against his chest. "Come back to me, Gwen. Come back to us."

"P-Pe...ter..." Gwen said, taking a shaky breath as the Venom symbiote fully retracted off her body. Feeling tears sting her eyes, Gwen wrapped her arms around Peter and returned his embrace. "I'm so glad you're safe. When...when I saw the woman strangling you...I just saw red and my mind went black..." Looking around the destroyed office, Gwen's breath hitched when she saw the horrified state Doc Ock was in. "W-What the hell did I do?"

"It's okay, Gwen. We stopped you before you went too far." Peter said in a reassuring tone as he gently pushed Gwen away and locked eyes with her. "You really had me worried there for a second."

"I-I'm...I'm so sorry, Peter..." Gwen cried, feeling tears streaming down her cheeks as she hugged Peter once again, burying her face into his chest. "I...I almost did something terrible."

"Shhhhh, everything is fine now..." Peter comforted as he allowed Gwen to cry against him. Turning his head slightly, he saw that Cindy and Felicia staring at him. "Thanks for coming back...I don't know if I could have stopped Gwen by myself. Did you get Anne to safety?"

"Yeah, we dropped her off at Natasha's bike before we came back." Cindy replied, glancing over at Olivia, who was shivering and rocking in place. "So...that's the power of a symbiote...pretty scary."

"Girl, you don't know the half of it." Felicia scoffed as she rested her hands on her hips. "The last thing you want to do is piss off a symbiote. We're lucky Gwen only has a fraction of the Venom symbiote on her."

"Hey guys, things are all secure-" Natasha stopped mid-sentence when she walked into the trashed office and spotted the strange scene. "Am I interrupting something?"

"Nah, everything is good now, Natasha." Peter said before he pointed toward Olivia. "But we've got a serious problem. We need to get her to Miguel ASAP."

(Thirty Minutes Later: Avengers Tower)

"This is bad...seriously bad..." Miguel muttered as he began to pace back and forth, looking at Olivia's scan as it projected off the computer on his wrist. "She's definitely from a different dimension...Olivia Octavius...Earth-1650A..."

"So, that's why Fisk needed Eddie Brock..." Natasha said, leaning against a nearby wall as her brow furrowed. "He was using Venom to steal parts he needed."

"And if they were able to bring her here, that means they're close to having it fully operational." Cindy added as she stroked her chin, a worried look in her eyes. "All they'd need to do now is basically refine and expand."

"Bringing in villains from across the multi-verse..." Gwen said in disbelief, tightly gripping the edge of the table she was sitting on. "I hate to say this...but this might be getting too big for us to handle."

"Natasha, have you been able to get in touch with any of the other Avengers?" Peter asked as he glanced over at the redhead. "We're gonna need some serious backup."

"I'm sorry, Peter, but it's been pretty much radio silent." Natasha replied, slowly shaking her head. "But, all hope isn't lost. Tony did manage to secure us a bit of support before he took off."

"Who did he get?" Peter asked as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Because we're gonna need all the help we can get."

"Well, apparently Tony's check just cleared, so...we'll have the support of the mercenaries from Silver Sable International." Natasha answered, causing Peter's eyes to widen slightly. "And apparently Carol Danvers is on her way here from off world."

"Carol Danvers?" Gwen repeated in a confused tone as she cocked her head slightly. "Who's that?"

"Captain Marvel is her hero name." Peter said, looking over at Gwen. "And she'll be our ace in the hole. She's who you call when you need the big guns."

"Glad she's on our side then." Cindy said before she looked at Peter. "When Natasha mentioned Silver Sable International, you looked kind of surprised, Peter."

"Uh, let's just say Silver Sable and I have history." Peter replied, releasing a light sigh as he shrugged his shoulders. "Let's just leave it at that."

"Oh, don't be so coy, Spider." Felicia suddenly said as she leaned against the room's doorway. "You can tell you had a brief...and I mean brief...little fling with Sable. I think you guys barely lasted a week together."

"Thanks for bringing that up, Felicia." Petter said, doing his best to hide his slightly flushed face. "I thought you went back home."

"I was just about to head out. But, I needed to do something before I left..." Felicia said as she sauntered over to Peter, putting a large sway in her hips. Peter's red face darkened as Felicia stood before him, a teasing smirk on her face. Then, to everyone's surprise, Felicia lunged forward and wrapped her arms around Peter's neck, pulling him in for a deep, passionate kiss. After breaking their intense liplock, Felicia leaned in and whispered hotly into Peter's ear. "Remember our agreement. I helped you rescue Anne...I expect a very romantic date tomorrow night."

"I...I uh..." Peter stammered with a near neon red face as he stared in shock at Felicia, stunned by what had just happened. "I...sounds good to me..."

"Alright then. I'll start making plans." Felicia said with a satisfied smile, walking out of the room with a noticeable bounce in her step. Stopping the doorframe, Felicia turned around and blew Peter a kiss. "See you tomorrow night, Spider."

"Well, that happened faster than I was expecting." Gwen said as she stared at the door Felicia had walked out of. "But, I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

"I am so confused." Natasha said with wide eyes as she looked at everyone in the room several times. "What the hell just happened?"

"Gwen and I will tell you about it later." Cindy said, walking over and patting Natasha on the back. "There's a lot to talk about."

"Can we please get back on topic? We have more pressing matters." Miguel said as he clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. "If we don't find Kingpin and Goblin soon, they could have my device ready and fully functional within the week."

"What the hell are we going to do?" Peter said, tightly gripping his mask as he looked down at the floor. "We have no idea where Kingpin is building this device...and we can't just swing up and down the streets looking for him."

"Well, all hope isn't lost let." Miguel said as he tapped away on his wrist computer, throwing up a large projection. "My device lets out a special energy signature not common in this dimension whenever it's used."

"So, we just need to look out for this energy signature." Gwen finished, hopping off the table and nodding her head. "That makes our job easier."

"Not necessarily." Miguel said which quickly dashed everyone's hope for a quick victory. "The energy signature only lasts for a few seconds and it could appear anywhere in the city, at any time. But, I'll send out my drones and have them scour the city...I just hope we locate my device before it's fully completed."

"So, what should we do?" Natasha asked as she crossed her arms underneath her chest. "I don't like the idea of standing around and doing nothing."

"Well, you could probably use your web of contacts to try and dig up some information on where Kingpin might be. Someone has to know something." Miguel said, before gesturing toward Peter, Gwen, and Cindy. "As for you three...just do what you usually do. Go out on patrols. Stop crimes. Be friendly neighborhood spider...uh...people. Don't let Kingpin or any of his goons get suspicious that we may be onto them. The last thing we need is for them to catch on and move my device into an even more secure location. In fact, Peter, you can start right now. I believe you promised Miles that you'd start training him."

"You're right, can't let the kid down." Peter said as he began to jog toward to door. However, he stopped in the doorway and spun around. "While I'm gone, Gwen, why don't you take Cindy out on a patrol too? She could use the experience."

"That's not a bad idea." Gwen said, stroking her chin as she glanced over at Cindy. "If we're gonna go up against Kingpin, and who knows who else, she's gonna need to learn fast. What do you say, Cindy?"

"Sounds good to me." Cindy replied as she eagerly nodded her head and pulled up her face wrap. "Kingpin needs to be stopped, and I'll do everything I can to help you guys."

"That's good to hear." Peter said with a small smile, before waving and dashing down the hall. "I'll see you guys later!"

(Avengers' Meeting Room)

"Hey, Miles! You in here!" Peter called out as he walked into the meeting room, expecting to see the teenager eagerly waiting for him. However, Peter was surprised when he saw that the room appeared to be empty. "Miles? I'm ready to do some training...where are-"

"Hey, Peter!" Suddenly, Miles materialized directly in front of Peter, causing him to yelp in shock. "Heh, sorry, didn't mean to scare you."

"W-What the hell!?" Peter exclaimed with wide eyes as he stared at Miles in disbelief. "Were...were you just invisible?!"

"Uh...I guess..." Miles said, shrugging his shoulders as he scratched his head. "I've done it a few times before...but it's always been involuntary...I don't know how to control it yet."

"Hmmm, that's something we'll need to work on then. Turning invisible...that's an incredibly useful power." Peter said which caused Miles to smile brightly at the praise. "Is there anything else you can do?"

"I..." Miles said as he stared down at his hands, clenching them a few times and furrowing his brow. "I don't know."

"Well, let's head out and see what you can do." Peter said with a grin, clapping his hands together. "So, is your costume ready?"

"Oh, man! I can't wait for you to see it!" Miles said with a beaming smile before he dashed to the other side of the meeting room, ducking inside a small cubby. After a few moments, Miles emerged dressed in his very own costume. "So! What do you think!?"

Peter couldn't help but chuckle when he immediately noticed that Miles had grabbed one of his old suits to work on. Instead of his traditional blue and red color scheme, Miles seemingly spray-painted most of the suit black, leaving a few red highlights around the shoulders, fingers, feet, and around the lens of the mask. But the most standout feature was the somewhat crude-looking spider symbol on the back and chest, with the symbol on Miles' chest almost resembling a basketball.

"Hmmm, it could use a bit of refining, but it looks great, Miles!" Peter said, giving a thumbs up which caused Miles to cheer and pump his fists into the air. "Alright, if you're all set, let's get going."

"Awesome!" Miles exclaimed as he followed Peter out of the meeting room. "So, what are we doing?"

"Well, let's get all the boring, practical stuff out of the way first." Peter replied, leading Miles toward the elevators. "First, be careful washing the suit, you don't want it shrinking on you. Second, always remember to disinfect the mask or else it gets gross real fast. Third, use a lot of baby powder on the joints, it'll stop you from chaffing. Lastly, and this is gonna sound weird, but if you can, try not to swing everywhere. That way you'll keep your arms and legs fresh."

"Okay...okay...got it..." Miles said as he tapped away on his phone, appearing to be taking notes on what Peter was saying. "What else?"

"That's about it for the boring stuff." Peter said, stepping into the elevator and pressing the button for the roof. "Now, we get to the fun part. I'm taking you out on patrol."

(Two Minutes Later: Avengers' Tower Helipad)

"A-Are you sure about this, Peter?" Miles asked hesitantly as he looked over the roof's edge at the street far below, feeling his stomach churn. "I don't know if I can do this."

"I'll tell you the same thing I told Cindy. You just need to take a leap of faith, Miles." Peter said, facing Miles as he stood on the edge of the helipad. "Believe in yourself and let your instincts take over." Peter flashed Miles a smirk before he pulled down his mask and fell backward off the helipad. "I'LL SEE YOU DOWN BELOW!"

"Peter wa-" But Miles was too late, Peter was long gone, having already fallen several stories. Watching Peter's descent, Miles watched as he effortlessly fired out a line of webbing and swung off a nearby building. Feeling his heart thundering in his chest, Miles took several deep breaths as he looked at the ground below. Shaking his body in an attempt to limber up, Miles suddenly sprinted toward the edge of the helipad. However, just before Miles lept off the helipad, he tripped over a small divet, tumbling over the edge. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

Screaming in terror, the only thing Miles could hear was the rushing wind as he rapidly plummeted toward the ground. He frantically waved his limbs, looking as if he was trying to swim in the air. Desperately thinking of what to do, Miles remembered what Peter had told him moments earlier.

"Just believe in myself...let my instincts take over..." Closing his eyes, Miles took a deep breath and shut out everything surrounding him. Once he had regained his composure, Miles opened his eyes and aimed his webshooter at a nearby building. Firing out a line of webbing, Miles performed his first swing. It was somewhat awkward and didn't look particularly graceful, but Miles managed to propel himself forward after letting go at the height of his swing. After a few more sloppy swings, Miles seemed to fall into a grove, his form already improving greatly. "YEAH! THIS IS AWESOME!"

"Look at you, Miles!" Peter exclaimed in a proud tone, hanging upside down on his web as he looked back at the young spider person. "You're really getting the hang of this! You'll be a pro in no time!"

"HAHAHA! This is the best!" Miles cheered as he vaulted off a lamppost to launch himself forward. "So, what's next man!?"

"Next, we stop your first crime. Something small though, I don't think you're ready to take down Scorpion or anything." Peter said before landing on the side of an apartment building. Moments later Miles joined, panting slightly as he caught his breath. Activating his HUD, Peter began to analyze the police scanners, looking for anything that caught his eye. "Car-jacking...bodega robbery... high-speed chase...maybe a-" Peter was cut off by a sudden scream coming from nearby. Gazing down the street, Peter spotted two men dragging a woman into an alley. "Here we go! A classic mugging, this will be perfect practice, Miles! Let's go!"

Both Spider-Men quickly followed after the thugs, finding them halfway down the alley. One of the thugs had a knife to the woman's throat, while the other rifled through her purse, looking for anything valuable. Miles and Peter silently dropped behind the thugs, neither of them aware of the wallcrawlers' presence.

"So, what do we do?" Miles whispered nervously rubbing his hands together. "Do we each take one?"

"Nah, this one's all yours, Miles. I'll jump in if you need help, but I can't really hold your hand for stuff like this. You need to learn through experience." Peter replied quietly as he gently nudged Miles toward the thugs. "Now, get in there. I know you can do this, Miles."

"Would you hurry the fuck up man! We don't go all damn day!" The first thug exclaimed as he shoved the woman they were robbing, causing her to yelp in fear.

"I'm trying man! There's like a hundred fucking pockets in this damn purse!"

"H-Hey!" Miles awkwardly announced as he stood in behind the thugs, resting his fists on his hips. Immediately both thugs whipped around, shocked to see the masked hero. "L-Let the woman g-go!"

"Who the fuck is this?"

"I don't know man, there's a new masked weirdo every fucking week, I can't keep up." However, the second thug instantly tensed up when he spotted Peter leaning against the wall behind Miles, observing the situation. "Spider-Man? You're here too? Do you know this guy?"

"He's a newbie I'm training." Peter replied as he stepped away from the wall, crossing his arms over his chest. "And you guys are the first bad guys he's going to take down. Being a new hero's first bust, you should feel really special."

"Fuck...why'd it have to be god damn Spider-Man again..." The first thug growled in a frustrated tone.

"Wait a second..." Peter muttered as he stroked his chin, closely examining the first thug for several moments. Suddenly, Peter gasped and burst out laughing. "Oh my god! You're the same mugger I caught a few days ago! How are you doing man? You got out of jail quick!"

"Screw you Spider-Man! I ain't forget how you and that bitch humiliated me! She posted those damn pictures online! I was made into a joke!"

"Hey, you can't blame anyone but yourself." Peter said as he shrugged his shoulders. "Anyway, you unfortunately won't be dealing with me today. My friend here will be personally kicking your butts."

"Tch, you're looking down on us!" The second thug exclaimed in anger, pulling out a knife of his own and rushing toward Miles. "I'll gut you both!"

"Woah! Crap!" Miles exclaimed as he jumped backward, narrowly avoiding the thug's blade. With his spider-sense and increased reflexes, Miles easily managed to avoid each of the thug's wild knife swings. But, Miles knew that he couldn't just dodge forever, so he decided to go on the offensive. After side-stepping another wide slash, Miles kicked out the thug's legs, causing him to crash to the ground. Quickly kicking away the thug's knife, Miles webbed him to the ground before he could get back up. "Alright, that's one-"

"You little shit!" Suddenly, Miles was tackled to the ground by the first thug. Slamming onto his back, Miles' eyes widened in shock when the villain straddled his waist, preparing to perform a powerful, overhead swing. When the thug brought his knife, Miles reacted quickly and grabbed his wrists, stopping the blade a few inches away from his chest. "Die you fucking bug!"

Peter was about to step in and help Miles, but a strange crackling in the air stopped him. Suddenly, the air around Miles seemed to hum as sparks of blue electricity began to crackle off him. The amount of electricity only seemed to increase with every second that passed, practically surging off Miles' body now. The thug was completely terrified of what was happening, pulling his knife away from Miles in a panic.

"Get...OFF ME!" Miles yelled as he unleashed the electricity he had been building up, blasting the thug back several feet. Panting heavily, Miles got back onto his feet, slowly approaching the thug. Thoroughly singed and smoking slightly, the thug appeared to be out cold. Just to be safe, Miles webbed the thug up as well. Bending down, Miles picked up the woman's purse and handed it back to her. "H-Here you go, ma'am."

"Thank you..." The woman said as she took her purse, hugging it against her chest. "Thank you so much...uh...what do I call you?"

"Oh...that's a good question." Miles said, chuckling lightly as he scratched his cheek. "It's my first day, so I don't really have a superhero name yet."

"Just call him Spider-Man." Peter said as wrapped an arm around Miles' shoulders and pulled him close. "That's the perfect name for him."

"But...aren't you Spider-Man?" The woman asked in a confused tone, pointing directly at Peter.

"We're both Spider-Man." Peter replied as he patted Miles' shoulder and began to lead him out of the alley. "Now, you have a great day ma'am! Make sure to call the police before you leave!" Once they were out of the alley, Peter dashed in front of Miles. "That...that was amazing, Miles! Not only can you turn invisible...it seems like you can harness bio-electricity! That is so cool!"

"Uh...thanks, Peter." Miles said with a small smile, somewhat embarrassed by the rush of praise. Reaching up, Miles began to rub his arm. "Hey, Peter...I really appreciate what you said back there...but are you sure? Can...can I really be called Spider-Man?"

"What are you talking about, Miles? Of course, you can." Peter said in a reassuring tone as he gently gripped Miles' shoulders, locking eyes with him. "Sure, in this dimension, there may be two Spider-Men. But when you get back home...it's just gonna be you, and someone needs to be Spider-Man there. And I can't think of anyone better, I'm sure your Peter would agree."

"Pete...I...I don't..." Miles began to get choked up, feeling tears sting his eyes. Sniffling a few times, Miles suddenly lunged forward and embraced Peter in a tight hug. "Thank you...thank you so much...I promise I won't let you down."

"I know you won't." Peter said as he gently patted Miles' back. After a few more moments, Miles ended their embrace and pulled up his mask, quickly wiping away his tears. "Now, why don't we keep going with our patrol? I'm sure we'll run into-"

"Hello. Peter, are you there?"

"Miguel?" Peter said in a somewhat confused tone, pressing a hand to his ear. "What's up, man?"

"I need you and Miles to go check something out for me. I'm detecting some weird energy spikes...the same ones that appeared when Gwen, Miles, and I were brought to this dimension."

"So...that means another spider person may have been pulled into this dimension." Peter finished as his eyes widened slightly. "Then, we need to find them fast. Where did the energy spike come from?"

"I don't have an exact location, just that it came from Central Park."

"Okay, Miles and I are on it! We'll find them!" Peter exclaimed, leaping into the air and firing a line of webbing at a nearby building. "Come on, Miles! We need to hurry!"

(Twenty Minutes Later: Pathes of Central Park)

"So, what exactly are we looking for?" Miles asked as they walked down one of the many paths sprinkled throughout Central Park. "We've kinda been walking around aimlessly."

"Not what. Who. Someone else may have been sucked into this dimension, just like you Miles, and we need to find them." Peter said, walking underneath a footbridge. "I just don't know exactly where to look. Miguel only said that they were likely in Central Park. I guess we could just walk around until our spider-senses start going haywire."

Then, almost as if on cue, both Peter and Miles grunted in pain as their spider-senses began firing off. Hearing a pained grunt from overhead, Peter looked up into a tree overhead and was shocked to see someone staring back at him. Before Peter could react, the mysterious stranger dropped from the tree and tackled him to the ground. With a grunt, Peter landed on his back, with the newcomer straddling his waist, their fist cocked back.

"Anata wa daredesuka!?" Hearing an unfamiliar language, Peter took a moment to examine who was on top of him. Whoever it was, judging by their appearance, they were definitely the spider person Peter was looking for. The stranger was a woman who appeared to be in her early twenties. Her suit was quite unique because it didn't have a mask, simply a hood that went over her head. The girl had large brown eyes and brown hair that was visible underneath her hood. Her suit was largely a pale pink, with webbing patterns, and pure black portions along her legs, hands, and most of her torso. Her chest sported a large, stylized pink spider symbol, and her hood looked like it had lenses similar to the ones that were on Peter's mask. "Naze watashi o sagashite iru nodesu ka!?"

"Uh, Peter!? What do I do!?" Miles asked as he stood a few feet away, awkwardly raising his fists. "Do...do you want me to get her off you?"

"No...no...let me handle this, Miles. She's probably just scared." Peter said, raising his hands in an attempt to show the girl that he meant her no harm. "Karen, can you auto-translate what she's saying."

"Of course, Peter. Give me a moment."

"Mōikkai dake kiku yo!" The mysterious girl exclaimed as she balled his fist, ready to strike Peter. "Ittai dareda...are you!?"

"All finished, Peter. It appears that she was speaking Japanese. I've tuned your earpieces so that they'll work with my auto-translation program."

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Peter exclaimed, digging into his suit and pulling out a set of earpieces. The girl looked quite confused as Peter offered them to her. Hesitantly, the girl reached out and took the ear pieces as Peter began to gesture toward his ears. Taking the hint, the girl plugged the ear pieces in. "So...can you understand me?"

"Woah...I totally can...and it looks like you can understand me too." The girl said in a surprised tone as she tapped the ear piece a few times. "These things are amazing." Realizing that she was still on top of Peter, the girl quickly hopped off him and offered him a hand. "Sorry about jumping you like that...I just don't know what the hell is going on."

"That's gonna take a bit of explaining." Miles chuckled, crossing his arms over his chest as his own ear pieces translated as well. "But don't worry, we're here to help you."

"So..." Peter said as he took the girl's hand and got back onto his feet. Pulling up his mask partway, Peter locked eyes with the newcomer, now realizing that he was a good bit taller than her. "My name is Peter Parker...and that's Miles Morales..." Extending his hand, Peter offered it to the mysterious girl. "And you are?"

"The name's Hida Haruka." The girl revealed with a bright smile, enthusiastically shaking Peter's hand. "But you can call me Sakura Spider!"

And done! Boom! The new spider person (and harem member) that will be replacing Jessica Drew is Sakura Spider. If you don't know who she is, I highly recommend looking her up because she's pretty awesome design-wise. As soon as I saw an image of her, I knew that I needed to add her to this story. The next chapter will have us learning some more about Sakura Spider and will have Peter's lemon scene with Felicia. So, I hope you're all looking forward to that! As usual, I'll be updating all my other stories first before I get back to this one.
