"I don't feel so good, Mr Stark."
Peter Parker shocked himself awake as he saw that he was in an alleyway on what looked to be back on Earth. He was confused by as the last thing he remember was a crazy feeling coming over him on the alien world of Titan after they lost to Thanos. Some Avenger I turned out to be went through his head as he remember being so close to getting that gauntlet off the mad titan but he just wasn't strong enough. He tried to get his bearings but he had a lot of banging as he quickly brought his mask back over his face as he shot a web onto the nearest building used it to swing up.
As he stood on the building, he saw a Giant standing above a railway with a lot of signs that were clearly not English. He thought for a second that maybe he wasn't on Earth but he knew he saw that language was somewhat familiar about it. However hearing a scream snapped Parker out of it as he swung into action as he saw some falling debris gonna to hit the street and maybe someone, he quickly shot webs out and caught it as someone looking Human rush under it and seemingly ready to catch it. "なんてこった?" was what Parker heard and he knew that he heard something like that before.
Parker held the debris up before lowering it on the ground, his Peter tingle went off as he leap out of the way of the Giant trying to smash him. "Well that isn't very nice, hear I am just trying to clean up the place after you and that's the thanks I get" Parker quips as he avoids another attempt at hitting him, leaping in the air which seemed to a mistake as the giant managed to land a kick as he was mid air, looking pleased as Parker went crashing into the wall but before he did, he saw some wood blasting into the area as he fell down against a dumpster, normally Parker would land on his feet but clearly he was feeling the effects of his fight on titan as he knocks himself for six.
He was about to try to get back up and fight but he saw another Giant, this time a woman dropkick the giant causing the trouble. Peter sighed as he was glad that was stopped but as he was about to shot a web away, his web shooters were out as he looked for a refill, all of them seemed to have smashed in his fall. He sighed as he was about to climb the well when he heard "停止!" he turned to see some sort of cop with gun out.
He took a second to think as he heard another one of the cops run up with her gun out as she said "両手をあげろ" as Peter again looked confused but a slight movement of the gun upwards means he can guess what she wanted. Peter was in what he thought was at least a different country but the more he thought about it, it was different as no-one seemed shocked at the giants fighting, he needed answer so he put his hands up. "I don't suppose any of you know English?" He asked unsure if he was on earth or what. Maybe this was all a dream.
Detective Tsukauchi was called in by a officer in Musutafu PD with a strange American vigilante that fingerprints was ran through the American database and he wasn't found on them, he was watching him from a two way mirror as he had to guess that this kid was at least fifteen years old so for him to have never had his quirk or fingerprints noted down was highly unusual to say the least. Then there was his suit which looked like something that would be worked on at I-Island never mind being wore by a random vigilante. He stared at the boy as the door opens and in walks in Shōta Aizawa aka the pro hero known as Eraser Head walk in.
"I am guessing that this kid got your attention but I am surprised to see you here, Eraser?" The Detective said in Japanese as the Eraser hero stared at the American boy sitting in the room.
"I was in the area when I heard about some young vigilante from the states that they have no record of his quirk or where he is from." Shota was listening in to what the boy was saying as he picked up his accent a little bit. "From what I am hearing, I assume that he comes from New York from his accent, although I could be wrong about that, do you have any idea who he is talking to?"
"None, one of the officer with limited English managed to note down what he said his name was." Tsukauchi looked at the notes as he knew it was pointless to try to fight Eraser when he got his nose into something, it was better to simply work with the Pro Hero. "It's right here, Peter Parker, sadly the officer's English seemed to be very limited as I believe noted down that Parker said something about calling for a Shield."
"How is your English?" The Pro Hero spoke in accented English to the Detective as if he was testing if the Detective would be useful on this case or not with him.
"I wouldn't say perfect but acceptable" The detective replied in similar English. That seemed to satisfy the Pro Hero as the detective looked at him in the eyes and spoke in Japanese again. "Shall we go and interview the young boy, I don't believe he is a danger but we do need to find out where he comes from and where his parents or guardians are?" The Pro Hero nods his head as he turns and opens the door to leave the observation room, Tsukauchi followed suit but he couldn't help but wonder if they were about to open a can of worms here.
Peter was sitting in the room with some water as he tried to get Karen to work. "Karen, come on, I could really use you right now." He had his mask off but he was hoping for some sort of life from the AI to try to help him work out where the hell he was. His mind was a lot clearer now and he had a bad feeling that he wasn't in Kansas anymore but that was quickly stopped as the door opens and in walked what looked to be a Detective and what Peter could only guess was a homeless man with a scarf on which did confuse him a little/
"Hello, Mr Parker?" The Detective said as he sat opposite Parker, Peter nodded at the detective as he kept one eye on the homeless man, still confused to why he was there. "I am Detective Tsukauchi and this is Eraser Head. Now normally we would record this talk given the use of your..." He seemed to pause as if he was thinking about what word he was need to use in English for a second. "quirk without approval."
Peter was very confused as he heard the word quirk, what the hell was a quirk as he looked at both men. "A quirk?" he questioned the men.
The detective looked at Eraser Head spoke up for the first time. "Yes, your quirk, the white stuff or strength or on the wall."
"What you mean my powers?" Parker said as he was confused why he would need approval, it wasn't like there was a lot of people with powers, yes more now then before but still it was still rare and he did sign the accords. "Have you called SHIELD to get this mess cleaned up?"
This time the two men looked confused at Parker asking for a shield again, The Detective had assumed it was a mistake from the officer who admitted that they weren't good at translate it. "Why you want a Shield?" The detective asked as Parker looked like he was stupid for asking.
"Not a Shield, but the SHIELD, you know..." Parker thought for a second before he muttered under his breathe "I always forgot what it stands for." Before he looks up and sees the men still waiting. "You know, Nick Fury, Helicarrier, global spies?"
Eraser Head was done with this fantasy from the child as he looked at him. "Listen Parker, we have checked your fingerprints with the US Embassy and they have no records of you or your quirk. Now given the fact that you seem to be fifteen and a child, I don't know how you could be in Japan. Now quit playing games and tell us where your parents or guardians are. How did you manage to avoids being hit from the villain and what your quirk is?"
Parker looks confused at all the questions, they were acting like it was normal to see a giant as he looked at them like they were crazy. "I must be dreaming, Thanos must have knocked me out." He muttered before he looked at the men, "I have no idea what a quirk is Mr Eraser Head, I know this will see crazy but you heard about the ring spaceship over New York?"
They again looked at him confusing at him as Parker thought he may as well tell the whole story, something wasn't adding up here, he wasn't stupid. He knew that how these men were acting having no knowledge of SHIELD was a red flag for him adding into that the last thing he remember was being on an Alien world called Titan and fighting Thanos only to be wake up in a city in Japan on earth wasn't normal. Peter went on to tell the full story of what happened with the avengers and Thanos on Titan.
Aizawa and Tsukauchi left the room to talk about the crazy story that Peter had just told them, by all means they should just think the kid was making up stuff but there was already much that wasn't making sense like the fact that even now after Aizawa requested the US Embassy to focus on New York, there was no record of a Peter Parker going to any school or born for that matter. The fact that he didn't even know what a quirk was too seemed very telling as the Detective turned to Aizawa and looked at the pro hero who was in deep thought.
"I have to say as crazy as it sounds, I believe that Parker believes what he just told us. I don't know if it's true or not but there a lot of weird things that kid should know that he simply doesn't." The detective looked at his notes as he shook his head that the kid had to go though all of that, it was something that even the top pro heroes haven't had to deal with if this was true. "I have no words, Eraser. I wish there was a way to find out if all of this was true or not, maybe he is just a very good liar but this wouldn't hurt him too much, it's a minor issue really."
Eraser got out his phone as he looked at the detective. "I believe I may have a way to find out of what Parker is saying is true or not, I have an old friend who has a quirk that could help us, she doesn't like to use it much nowadays but I believe if I tell her that it's about helping a young boy find his way, she may be willing to help." He had hoped that maybe Parker had some mental health disorder but with how he said everything, it seemed like he had lived it. there was of course only one way to find out for sure.
Kasai Michi was shocked to get a phone call from Aizawa given how she had left things with the Pro hero, he understood why she gave up on being one herself as she arrived at the police station in Musutafu as she sighed, she knew that this was serious but the tone of Aizawa's voice and she couldn't not try to help a kid who seemed to be believe some troublesome stuff from what she had been told. She was lead by an officer to Aizawa and another man talking about what she assume to be the case as they bring her in the side room for privacy.
Aizawa shook her hand as he st6arted to explain why she had been called. "I am very sorry to have brought you into this but there was simply no choice in the matter, Michi, this is Detective Tsukauchi." Michi shook the head of the Detective as well as Aizawa went on. "He was called in to deal with a young American vigilante who clearly didn't know any Japanese at all." An eyebrow raised from Michi as while it wasn't uncommon for a tourist to not know much Japanese, she would assume they would have some sort of base understanding of it. "However that isn't the troublesome part, his fingerprints were taking and went through the US Embassy's database, there is no record of this Peter Parker at all."
Michi thought that she heard the Pro Hero wrong as that would near impossible for someone to come from another country and there is no record of him at all, she thought maybe Aizawa misspoke. "You mean there is no record of him coming to Japan, Aizawa?"
"No, I mean there is no record of him existing at all. Of course he could be lying about his name which is why his fingerprints were taken, the fact that even those aren't coming back with something raised enough red flags for me to look into myself and then the story he gave us, how he really did seem to believe it as well, lead me to ask you here to help." Michi pinched her nose as she knew that she asked her to use her quirk not for her skills as a therapist now, she knew that was unlikely but she had hope until now. "I know after what happened a few years ago, you are reluctant to use your quirk but I see no logical way to find out if Mr Parker is telling the truth or not without it. This would be very helpful for what steps we need to take next."
Detective Tsukauchi was still unclear about what quirk Michi had as Eraser wasn't keen on talking about it without her approval so he started to speak up. "Forgive me for asking, Miss Michi but Eraser didn't want to say how your quirk would help so I feel I need to ask, what is your quirk?"
Michi smiled at hearing Aizawa didn't say what her quirk was, she knew that a lot of people in the police force would likely want to use her quirk to force people into admitting guilt. "My quirk is called Memory Walk, I can see as well as take one other person into someone's memories of the past, this allows me, the person who memories I am in and the guest to see things how they were. However it does have some drawbacks as I can only see what the person saw and felt at the time, no outside knowledge of that. It is also dangerous to everyone in the memory as it is possible for permanent to the person who memory I am in or the guest."
"What do you mean permanents damage to those people, Miss Michi?" The detective had a worried look on his face, as much as he wanted to get the truth, he was unwilling to allow any serious damage happen to a confused child. Michi sighed as she looked at Eraser who knew that this may be too much to ask the therapist.
"They could fall into a coma, lose memories or even possibly other motor skills." Eraser spoke knowing the limits of Michi's powers himself and seeing the worse case happen. "However I do believe Miss Michi has the power to help and we should allow Parker to choose himself with the knowledge of the risks." He said as he turned back to the Detective knowing that this should be the last resort. "I understand that both of you are reluctant about this, however I think this could be good for both sides."
Writer's notes
So here is my first story a crossover of My Hero Academia and Spider-Man, I have had this idea for a little while and only now with the manga coming an end that I have put it in action. I have changed Peter's age a little bit as I believe at the time of Avengers: Infinity War he would have been Sixteen but I think being fifteen at the start works better to fit in with My Hero Academia world.
There will be some OCs throughout the story to flesh it out as seen with the therapist in the last part and maybe another marvel character/s coming through(unlikely to be from the MCU though for reasons that would be spoilers). The Japanese in this chapter was done using google translate so I will say what it's meant to be below, forgive me if it's wrong as I don't speak Japanese at all.
なんてこった? = What the Hell?
停止! = Stop!
両手をあげろ = Raise your hands.
